|13.78km from city centerExceptional Hotel & Service! I arrived and the proximity of the hotel to the airport (it’s actually on airport property) was such a time saver for me. I stay exclusively at Marriott properties when possible so I have 20 years of hotel stay experience. I know what to look for quickly to determine what I’m about to experience. The staff is wonderful, rooms modern and clean and spacious. Common areas are well appointed and clean. Restaurant and bar are spot on and the meals and drinks were exceptional. Overall I’d come back again and again without hesitation. It gets my 5 star review.

|9.44km from city centerWe just stayed overnight for a short time on our way to Charlotte. Room was nice and clean and it even smelled nice. Lots of places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. Didn't see whether or not they had breakfast since we were hopping back on the road the next morning. Friendly staff

|5.59km from city centerWe were very disappointed in our recent four night stay. A major factor in choosing this hotel was the indoor pool. On the night of our check in we headed straight to the pool only to be met with a sign saying it was closed. When I politely inquired about it, the gentleman at the front desk could care less, didn't offer any apologies, and said it might be open next week or maybe not. We paid a premium to stay at this hotel (about $400/nt) because of a convention in town that we were not a part of. The pool closure was not listed on the website, in my booking confirmation, or in any of the other confirmations I received leading up to our trip. I did call customer service to voice my concern so we'll see what happens. The other big issue was housekeeping. There was a sign saying that you needed to request housekeeping. Reasonable enough. On the second night my husband went to the front desk to request it. He was told that we needed to request it in the morning. Okay, fine. So in the morning he goes back to the front desk and this time was informed that housekeeping is only provided every four days. Seriously?! So we were there for 4 nts/5 days and paid over $1700 and wasn't provided with any housekeeping. Totally unaccepable. The shining stars of this property were the women in the food area who were super pleasant and hardworking. I would not recommend this property. Look elsewhere.

|15.14km from city centerOur family of four needed a last minute overnight within the proximity of 40 and Route 68, on the airport side of Greensboro. We are well familiar with the area and the hotels along that stretch, and have stayed at a few of the others over the last ten years. SpringHill Suites was new to us, and this location’s previous reviews were pretty good on TA, so we gave it a go. We arrived around 10:00 PM, calling first to let the desk know we were still coming. The young woman I spoke with on the phone was very polite. When we arrived, our check in was smooth and quick, and we were given a room on the top (4th) floor, as requested. We were initially worried about the noise because we were only 4 doors down from 2 extremely loud and rude rooms across from the hall from each other, who were obviously talking with each other from within their rooms. But when we entered our own room, we couldn’t hear the volume from those 2 rooms at all. The room was clean, with a large walk in closet (good if someone needs to change clothes in privacy, and the bathroom is occupied.) Our tall teenager was able to comfortably sleep on the pull out trundle bed, giving our adult daughter the second bed to herself, which was a pleasant surprise. I prefer a firmer mattress, and these were soft with a topper. The bathroom was also clean, and the large shower didn’t have a tub, making getting in and out very easy for anyone with physical challenges. Breakfast consisted of hot oatmeal with a good amount of additional topping selections, such as coconut, dried berries, raisins, almonds, walnuts, granola, honey, chocolate chips, etc. They had hot bagels with eggs and ground meat, a pre-made Spanish style omelette, real hot pepper sauce on the side, cold bagels and breads, yogurt, cereal, bananas, oranges, and hot tea and coffee with a couple syrups, and real cream and milk. They were missing something with potatoes, in my opinion, but that’s not a big deal. My slight complaints had to do with the aesthetics of the bathroom. Our bathroom door didn’t have a lock that lined up with the latch in the doorframe, but more importantly, the bathroom door itself had a large panel of frosted glass. This meant that the door allowed the bright bathroom light into the rest of the room if someone had to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, or if someone had to get ready early in the morning while others were still sleeping. I think this is a serious design flaw on Marriott’s part. Lastly, there was no bathroom fan and only 1 towel hook. The latter seems to be an issue in most hotels, I’ve noticed. All told, we enjoyed our stay and would currently recommend this particular hotel to others.

|4.79km from city centerMy nephew and I were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room as opposed to the price we paid. We were allotted plenty of space for the two of us and we did not have any hassles except for not being able to connect to wifi until the following morning of our two day stay with Super 8 which was ok considering the first night we went directly to sleep.

|8.97km from city centerThis Fairfield was a lovely surprise. Apparently it’s fairly new because it was lovely. Check in was great with a very pleasant manager. The room was nice with a superior bathroom. Tv had tons of channels if you have time and the bed was comfy. Location was great, near I-40. Breakfast was fairly standard but there s a nice egg dish for low calorie fans. One of the attendants at breakfast was lovely and welcoming, the other was very grumpy and didn’t even attempt to smile. We all have to put on a smile when we don’t feel like it sometimes. Oh well, not gonna let that ruin my experience.

|5.17km from city center 5 STARS because the staff was exceptional! Very friendly, courteous, helpful, attentive, engaged, kind. Very large lobby for gathering or relaxing. Nice little bar area for socializing and meeting others. Large dining area with plenty of seating for a single traveler to a large group. Room (2 queens) was pleasantly comfortable. Linens are soft, light and weighted to keep you warm but not sweaty. Bedding as comfortable and allowed for good rest and relaxation. Pillows were also comfortable. Lots of sitting and desktop space but a lack of storage - just three drawers and a closet; this was a bit tight for 3 travelers from Thursday - Sunday...but we made it work. Bathroom was spacious. Fridge but no microwave. Lots of counter space and a couple cubby slots for storage. Traditional bath/shower combo. Bath linens were scratchy soft. A decent fitness center. Nice campus that is maintained. Overall, extremely satisfied with our stay here. Highly recommend.

|5.62km from city centerThe hotel lobby is lovely with high ceilings, that’s about the only good here. Elevators were dirty and sketchy, at best. The bed was the most uncomfortable accommodation I have ever slept on. I have a back ache from the crappy mattress. The breakfast buffet is $12! But when we came down at 9am (it closes at 10) the food was nearly gone and what remained did not look appeasing. The pool area has like five chairs for parents and we had to ask for pool towels 3x before anyone brought any down. The pool had maybe 16 kids and they brought ten towels. This place is a waste or money.

|6.09km from city centerThe front desk clerk (assistant manager) made the entire stay bearable and worthwhile. The price of $100 was a bit steep for that particular hotel and its location. For that reason alone, I’d likely never recommend this hotel to anyone, as I can easily book a 3 star hotel for about $80.

|15.09km from city centerI stayed at this hotel while visiting the ACC basketball tournament since it's close to the Greensboro Coliseum. The location is perfect, right by the Interstate and close to everything I needed in Greensboro. I got to the hotel later at night after the late game, and went straight to my room. The room was fine. The next morning I was woken up by the sound of what sounded like a sawzaw at my head and it was so loud. I wish I had known they were doing construction because I really would have liked to sleep a little later. I went to get breakfast and the breakfast was fine. I asked to be moved, and the lady moved me to another room. The second room was fine as well. The one thing with the showers, is they have a texture to them along with an off color, and they feel dirty. There was no visible dirt but the appearance is that they are very dirty. It's just how they're designed. I did not like them at all. Also, I always back my car in. It had rained, and they have not mowed the grass. I had to stand in tall wet grass to unload my car. I could have pulled in to avoid this problem, but I NEVER pull in parking spots. Outside of the construction noise, shower texture and tall grass, this is a good hotel in a good location. Next year I will stay somewhere else but this isn't a bad property and I wouldn't tell people to go elsewhere. I am just picky.

|15.36km from city centerReally Poor Value for Money - Very Poor Customer Service. The Embassy Suites Hilton brand used to be a very safe bet, but if the Greensboro Embassy Suites if by far the worst hotel I have stayed in in the last twelve months. Most certainly the worst Embassy Suites I have ever stayed in. The rooms are never cleaned, never serviced without having asked for it, but you are not told this when you check in. Their excuse??? - we cannot get the staff - UTTER BS - pay a good wage you will get the staff. Breakfast is really low grade poor quality food, the coffee was disgusting, ON the second day we had breakfast at McDonalds that's how poor the brekky was at this hotel Rooms are in need of some major TLC and the managers reception/happy hour is now reduced to a two drink, bottom of the rack booze, that a skid row wino would turn his nose up to - this is dumbing down at its worst We will not be staying there again, unless they bring this hotel back up to the standard that one would get They are charging top dollar and providing bottom dollar service Why are the Americans accepting this poor value for money???

|6.14km from city centerGreetings, So my mother died on April 10th in Greensboro, NC which is my home. I live in Atl. Ga. The entire staff at the Baymont on Veasly St. were overwhelmingly accommodating to my needs and request. From unplanned reservations to needing to check out late. From the GM to each desk representative, I am so very grateful to you. Melvin, the time I met you I was made to feel like I had known you for years. I needed this special attention during this time. My mom was my best friend too. Melvin shared how he felt when his mom passed away, I walked away feeling like if he made it through then I can too. May God bless you all, I will never forget you. |15.04km from city centerLoved my stay at Clarion Point Airport!! Shortly after arrival I received a text from the front desk regarding there being warm cookies made and available. I just want to say, the cookies were Delicious 😋. Very delicious!! The front desk staff, dining room and housekeeping staff were very friendly and it was so nice to see genuine, smiling faces. Sorry Doubletree Inn, but they were better!! My room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The fitness center had modern equipment and I was very happy to see that there were clean, plush towels, and cleansing wipes provided. There are also TV’s in the fitness center but I did not utilize them. I just want to emphasize that I found their breakfast to be great! From the real, nicely seasoned eggs, to the sausage, bagels, yogurt, toppings, beverages, etc. There was great variety!! I look forward to staying again.

But over all the staff was friendly the rooms were very clean and our stay was great.

|8.97km from city centerGreat price. The location can't be beat. All kinds of shopping and restaurants within minutes and only 10 minutes to downtown. But most of all, the staff was amazing. From the second we walked in the door, every employee we ran into was beyond friendly and offered to help us in any way. The rooms are small....hence ”micro”, but if you're only going to be using the room for sleep, they work just fine. Only real negative, if you want to look at it that way, was the smell. *********. Apparently, smoking cigarettes in a non-smoking room is prohibited, but **** is acceptable. To be fair, I've stayed in 3 different places in 3 different towns in NC this year, and this seems to be the norm.

Greensboro
|14.68km from city centerThe Quality Inn & Suites Airpark East has been my go-to hotel in Greensboro for several years. In the past I've stayed elsewhere in town, but for the past coupe years, I've settled in on staying here exclusively as they offer the most value for my money. My stay was in room 113, a room I've stayed in before. I almost always request a room facing the atrium/indoor pool area. These rooms are limited in number and slightly more expensive, but they have a sliding glass door to the atrium. My only (minor) complaint for this stay was that a half full carton of orange juice was left in the refrigerator. Well, the lampshade on the desk could stand to be replaced, but that's almost trivial. The rest of the room was as I've come to expect - clean, comfortable, and in good condition. The new renovations help modernize the rooms while still being attractive and tasteful. This hotel also has the best indoor pool in the area, as it's surrounded by a large atrium with plants and large glass windows on one side. The atrium carpeting needs replacing, though - if anything shows the age of the property, it's that. Staff was friendly and helpful, even if interactions were limited due to COVID. Breakfast is pre-wrapped grab and go items you pick up at the front desk. The Quality Inn & Suites Airpark East is an excellent Greensboro hotel choice if you're looking to save money without sacrificing cleanliness and amenities. Its physical plant is older, but it has everything those new hotels have - except the high prices.
