The hotel is well located, the furnishings are very tasteful and the front desk staff are excellent. We are diamond members and we’re given a free upgrade on arrival to the top floor, however even though we only had one suitcase, the room did feel a little small. The two main issues have been addressed on here before. I was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency at breakfast on our first day which was Tuesday after reading the reviews. Wednesday and Thursday reflect the reviews prior, slow service and orders not going in or just taking an age. The parking across the street is pricey, we also had an issue with the ticket on leaving the final day. This could be an amazing hotel!

OK, so you may find more salubrious surroundings in the Sydney CBD to have lunch than The Occidental Hotel, but this pub’s quality restaurant offerings and the genuine warmth of the experience are simply unbeatable. Sitting pretty on the 1st Floor of the glorious Occi Hotel is The Fairmont Restaurant, a classy and refined haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city’s streets, and featuring a mouth-watering menu and seasoned team of hospitality professionals who deliver the goods every time. We genuinely struggled with our Entree selections . . . what do you leave out from Seared scallops, Spicy Peking duck pancakes, Blue Swimmer crab angel hair pasta, Salt & pepper squid, or hand-chosen Sydney Rock Oysters? But don’t go too hard too early because The Occi is best known for its famous steaks, a result of this pub being owned and operated by legendary Hotelier Fred Newton, of Glenmore Meats fame. The fabulous food and superb wine list here is complemented, thankfully, by a wide range of traditional beers and a wonderful pub atmosphere that embraces you the minute you walk through the doors. The Fairmont Restaurant at The Occidental Hotel is perfect for client business meetings, group bookings, special occasions or just a nice catch-up in the city with friends. But be warned . . . after you’ve climbed the wooden staircase and marveled at the Victorian Regency Style decor, you may find yourself wistfully remembering yesteryear and re-telling famous old stories. Or just simply not wanting to return to work! Love this place. And well done to the management team at this fine establishment. It is superbly run.

We have stayed here for 5 very enjoyable nights. Staff are amazing. The room is spotlessly clean and more than adequate in size. There is a nice desk set up, decent tv and tastefully decorated. The bed is sublime and the rooms are very quiet which seems uncanny given how busy the roads outside can be. The real plus point for this hotel is its amazing location. You are a minute to Kings Walk with a plethora of restaurants offering almost every cuisine imaginable. You would have to stay here for a very long time in order to have to visit any restaurant twice unless by choice

The location of Sky City Apartment Hotel is very good. It is located in the downtown area of Sydney CBD, next to the shopping mall, and only 300 meters away from Darling Harbour. Every morning and evening, I go to Darling Harbour with my love for a stroll, watching the relaxing seabirds on the pier and admiring the beauty. And romantic sea view. The room facilities are well-equipped, very clean and tidy. You can even go to the nearby supermarket to buy steaks and cook the steaks directly in the apartment to enjoy the delicious food! (Don’t worry, there are knives, forks, microwave ovens, everything in the kitchen, and even the dishwasher is provided for you.) Special thanks to the front desk customer service Amy, who speaks fluent Chinese, and is enthusiastic about renewing I also called a taxi for us personally. I will definitely stay here next time I come to Sydney.

The super king bed was not just enormous but super comfy. Combined with the automatic blackout blind, we were able to sleep in every morning - which is amazing since I always struggle to sleep at hotels! The tv is at the foot of the bed and had an arrangement of movies and TV to watch, plus Chromecast which was a nice touch. The room, though small, has been cleverly designed to have everything you need and more. The tablet menu allows you to order specific things to your room, like different pillows (no charge) or drinks (with charges). I loved the lighting design, which allowed different lighting configurations for our use - main lights, ambient, night light, reading. The bathroom was compact but had everything we need, including large shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles. I prefer these to the tiny little samples that are never enough! I was very impressed with the facilities at this hotel. It feels like the gym is an afterthought at most hotels, but it was seriously impressive here. The room is enormous and has a big range of equipment! The rooftop is so beautifully designed. Loved the fireplace in the centre of the room, surrounded by comfy lounges. And both indoor and outdoor spaces were great to use. We didn't get to use the bar because we headed out each night. We used the coffee machine and tea facilitiesin the library adjacent too. Very easy to use, and again, just a nice touch on top of everything. Check in and out was painless and quick. Location on top of Wynyard station makes it so convenient to go anywhere in the CBD. Staff were always friendly and helpful. They even delivered 3 types of pillows to us late at night when we ordered it off the tablet. This is obviously a very positive review, but I genuinely can't remember being so impressed by a hotel at this price range (or even higher). Whoever designed this space and experience knew the limitations of the site and used it to their advantage. Well done!

Let me talk about the advantages: the position is excellent! Darling Harbour is just outside the window. It is a ten minute walk from qvb and closer to the shopping street. The supermarket is a little farther away and can be reached in 20 minutes. The fish market, the Sydney Opera House and the Royal Botanic Gardens are all within walking distance. On the upper and lower floors, except that there is only one toilet, it is a little troublesome. Sleeping four adults is completely fine. You can cook. The kitchen utensils basically meet the needs of Chinese food, but... I found a small strong on the day of check-in. Fortunately, only one, let me know. Immediately after the front desk, someone came to spray the medicine. Two boys at the front desk were so cute, which gave us a lot of help. A roll of hair, a look like Superman clark, forgot the name... So sad.

This is the second time we stayed here because of the location. There has certainly been an improvement since last time - probably due to more rooms being occupied. It's in a great location, the staff are friendly and very helpful. The on site cafe attached is lovely - great cafe food and lovely staff. The only problem this time with the hotel is the terrible odour in the hallways, smelling of damp fabric. Otherwise a great stay.

Hotel was ok and clean. Room was nearby lifts and room smelt like the metal lift shaft as did the rest of the 4th floor. The hotel is old but tidy. Room size was decent. Breakfast with cold and hot options was tasty but took a long time for hot food to be made to order. Complimentary in room mini bar with water juice and soft drinks was nice.

I booked a couple of weeks in a advance and was able to secure a great price. We stayed in a Deluxe 2 room apartment. The view was great, looking over the on ramp to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and across to Luna Park. Access to the carpark was easy, just press the intercom and advise name on the booking and access granted. The room had a large balcony, with access from the smaller of the two bedrooms, as well as from the main living area. The second bathroom was great, although the lighting could have been a bit better, it was quite 'dim' in there, although very modern. The main bathroom in the 'master' bedroom was perfectly sized - 2 sinks, a tub and an awesome shower. The shower had EXCELLENT water pressure and quick to heat up. The beds were ok, maybe not as comfortable as our own bed at home, but for one night they were fine. Being an older building, the windows are not double glazed, so even 19 floors up, there is traffic noise (but not really a big problem). The York is in an excellent location. A very short walk to Barangaroo, the Light Rail stop is only a block away, and Wynyard Station is very close also. The onsite, dedicated to The York, parking is a bonus. $50 per night, perhaps a bit expensive, but secure and not open to the general public. All in all - an excellent stay. We would happily stay again, as the location is perfect. Note: try and book well in advance if possible, to get a great rate. The room is clean and tidy, the main point is large, there is a kitchen, kitchen utensils are readily available, very convenient. 3. Convenient transportation nearby, extending in all directions, there are supermarkets and comprehensive eating places like KFC. It is very close to the city hall train station at 150 meters. 4. Check in at Bar 2:30pm. Friendly service. Old fashioned manual door lift up to room, adds charm! Room tidy with tv, fan (no air con), single bed and sink. Shared bathroom nearby. Stayed for an event in city so only needed somewhere to crash until morning trains. Had a few nightcaps late in the bar downstairs. Was appreciated. All staff were very polite and allowed me one final drink at last order. Price was right on Agoda. Cheapest i could find for own room. Location is ace nearby Tram stop, Wynyard Station and Circular Quay. Will stay again for a city visit.

Bring the younger brother out to play, four people, and live in the two bedroom suite. Living on the 44th floor, the scenery is very good and there is a big balcony. 2 washrooms. The master bedroom has a washroom and balcony. Smoking can be smoked on the balcony. The facilities in the room are still very perfect, the washing machine, the microwave oven for cooking, the oven, the pot and the glass are all very convenient. It is the drain in the bathroom that is very slow, and it often spills out. Every day, I cleaned the room, but it was definitely not like a 5 star hotel. It was so clean, and I needed to change the bath towel. The service attitude was quite satisfactory. The normal check-out time was 10 o'clock. It was late that day. After adding 50 Australian dollars to 12:30, if you check out the room rate, you may receive it according to the occupancy rate at that time. I was not at that time. Holidays, so the collection is cheaper. Shopping is very convenient. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the big shopping malls of myer. It takes 10 minutes to walk to Chinatown. The only bad thing about staying in a CBD hotel is that the weekend is very noisy. There is no way. Overall, I am still very satisfied. Suitable for families, friends, and people. There are also 3 suites.

The location of the hotel is close to the Central Railway Station, and you can enter the underground passage just a few steps away (but the passage is quite long, and the luggage is not very convenient), and the train to the airport costs 18 Australian dollars per person. The hotel's breakfast is definitely abundant in foreign hotels, and there is porridge to drink, which is more suitable for Chinese! The hotel is clean, but the facilities are slightly older and the internet speed is surprisingly slow! Service attitude is still okay. The next day I lived upstairs and started renovations. The waiter offered to change my room!

Because there is a special price when booking, less than one thousand yuan a night, as long as it can meet the basic five-star hotel standards, I will be satisfied. First talk about the room. The front desk gave me a corner room with floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides. It is very beautiful, with an area of 40 square meters, which is larger than the standard rooms of Hilton and Park Hyatt. It is large in size and has been renovated in recent years. It is very comfortable to live in. See the picture for details. In terms of service, although it did not work, there was nothing wrong. The hotel staff I contacted, whether it was the front desk or the room service, could do the smiling service with patience and enthusiasm. Requests to call the front desk will usually be answered within 20 minutes. The delivery of food in the rooms is quite satisfactory. The price is the same as that of mid-to-high-end restaurants. An additional nine-knife delivery fee and 24-hour service are available. The variety of dishes can be said to be rich. The spa and swimming pool were not experienced because of the itinerary. The capsule coffee in the mini bar was unexpectedly good

Location is perfect, close to all places incl darling Harbour Harbour bridge the rocks qvb shopping centers circular quay all within walking distance, I recommend this place over Hilton as this place is much safer, I saw a lot of homeless in the Hilton area and it’s much more expensive than Meriton Sussex Street, although it’s just a few mins walk away. Amenities are perfect, there are laundry and drying machine and oven, it definitely solves us a big problem as this is our last station in Australia and we have had lots of dirty clothes with us. The only thing bad is the bedsheet has blood stain, we asked for change but the new one still has blood stain, we told the front desk again the next day and they immediately changed it to clean one, so the service is good. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it is good value for the money paid with good service and amenities.

Not much to say about the location, mainly because Avis car rental is on the left-hand side of the hotel lobby. It is very convenient to rent a car after driving for two days in Sydney. The road in Australia is not as wide as that in the United States. It is not recommended that you rent a big car. It is very painful to drive in the city. The double bed is still a bit small, and the room can see the opera house. It is very convenient to eat and shop nearby. The weather in Sydney is very good now. It has just rained and the fire is almost gone.

Went for 3 nights. The first night I found that the stove hood was not working properly, so I spoke to the front desk. Back to the hotel in the evening, they said that the tests had been completed and everything was normal. So I tried it. It took 3 minutes to turn off again, so I went to talk to them again the next morning. (I kept pressing and cooking on the first night. I cook with one hand, and I admire myself.) They said that they had checked before. . . I said that I would die in 3 to 5 minutes after opening, and they also said that it was okay to try. It turned out that for 3 nights I cooked with this switch. . . . Milk and coffee need to be found by them, they are not added automatically. Everything else is good. Easy to darling harbour and downtown. It's pretty comforting. I hope to help everyone. If you don't need to cook by yourself, the price is still very high.

There aren't many basic facilities in the room.. Such as indoor slippers and mineral water (this price is not cheap, even the water is not willing to give.. too much!!!!) I wanted to live here and I could have a view of the opera house.. but not at the same price, I can live in a good hotel. Then because of the encounter with the vivid Australia festival... The road was sealed... I called the front desk to help me call the car to the airport, and specifically asked her where to wait (I know the road seal)... As a result, she was completely unaware of it. Call me at the hotel.. The result is that the car can't come in... It also delayed my time... Finally, they didn't help at all... I have to drag my bulky luggage to the road to call the car. 😡😡😡 In summary, there is no need to live here... The same geographical location, there are many other options😎

I came to Sydney for Christmas and New Year with my husband. I preferred the Hyde Park Hotel. The location is well-connected and the balcony scenery is amazing. Not only did I catch the Christmas light show, but I also saw the fireworks at the New Year, making this trip very happy. . The small kitchen also makes overseas travel a little more at home. The hotel is cleaned in time. Although the breakfast is simple, you can feed the seagulls when you do n’t eat bread. Great places to go, subway stations, bus stations, QVB, Chinatown are within walking distance. The subway station Line 8 diagonally across the road is easy to get to and from the airport.

If all you need is a place to sleep, it will meet your needs for a CBD friendly and central location. This hotel is a basic services and my room was unclean as there was 1.4" of dust around the skirting board. Should also say, the room blew the electrics whenever I put on the iron, tv and my laptop, which was a bit inconvenient as it required staff to come up to the floor. The staff were polite and like I said, a central CBD hotel and a place to sleep best describes this place. Not a place built for business travellers as your only option is work from your room (no bar, restaurant or other place).

Amazing stay!!…Booked for 2 nights, a quick little getaway…..Pullman was a great choice! The staff are professional and friendly, even going to my suite I passed some Housekeeping staff and they were so welcoming. The room was a good size, very clean, with plenty of room/storage. The kitchen has everything you would ever need plus a laundry. I spent a lot of time on the balcony overlooking the iconic Sydney harbour bridge and amazing city skyline. Was lucky to see one of the first Cruise ships in. The Bars and Restaurant look good, I didn’t have a chance to check them out, but I’m booked in again next week, so will make a point of sampling their menus. The location of this property is second to none……you are absolutely spoilt for choice from great fish & chips to Michelin rated restaurants at your doorstep. This has now become my Hotel of choice when I’m in Sydney. It gives you the freedom of being in self contained apartment, but then having all the luxe personal amenities of a luxury Hotel. Looking forward to my stay next week! ….Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour should be top of your list….its definitely mine.

The location of the apartment is quiet. It is acceptable to walk 5 minutes from museum station, so it is also 5 minutes walk from Hyde Park. It is very convenient to get to Circular Quay by taking two stops from museum station. But walking to Darling Harbour feels a bit far away, especially when walking back with children to play is still tiring. The nearest supermarket is coles on the first floor of the World Square. It takes about 6-7 minutes to walk, but there are many intersections, so it will delay some time. There is a basket brother on the right hand side of the apartment for breakfast. Of course, it is most economical to go to the supermarket to buy things and come back to make breakfast on your own. The clean and beautiful decoration in the apartment is relatively modern, but the lights are not bright enough. Facilities are relatively complete, especially the kitchen supplies are complete, toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, soap, dishwasher blocks are all available, and will make up. Paper towels, hand towels, face towels, bath towels are available, and daily new towels will be replaced. Without slippers, there will be cleaning every day. The only bad design is that the lamp at the bedside is too low, it is very easy to hit the head ... The type of room I live in does not have a washing machine. The service is also very good with a 24-hour front desk. Fruits are changed daily in the lobby to eat, and free sweets and lemonade are also served. The gym is 24 hours and is on the 1st floor (actually on the 2nd floor and the lobby is on the G floor) The deposit pre-authorization was released very quickly, and it was completed two days after check-out. In short, it is a very recommended apartment, and you should choose it next time you go to Sydney.

Maybe they tried their best in this situation but they should check the room condition more often before get in the guest. So I was bit disappointed as I stayed 5 star hotel like this… It was not a small problem, the sound was really loud… couldn’t believe that they were not aware this…

The location of the hotel is very good. 10 minutes walk from Sydney Opera House. Surrounded by shopping malls and designer shops, shopping is very convenient. It is also very convenient to travel by subway

We love how we can so quickly walk to both the CBD and Darling Harbour, the Mantra On Kent is brilliantly located. The accommodation itself is fine, those servicing the rooms probably need a checklist as we had to ask for a toaster (had a chuckle when receptionist asked if we'd checked the kitchen cupboards - did he think we were looking under the bed for it?) and buy our own soap (space for 2 dispensers, only 1 there was lotion) - 1st day shower was woeful, you just have to time the shower when nobody else is having one otherwise you are either getting very hot or very cold; fortunately on our 2nd day it was ok. Heating shot out cold air no matter what buttons we touched, fortunately there was a portable heater available. Comfortable bedding, very quiet room.

Perfect! The gentleman who checked us in at the front desk is very patient and reasonable. Although Ctrip's orders have problems with overbooking and non-payment, he has helped us to check in first. The allocation of 4 rooms is thoughtful for our children and the breakfast for the children. Arranged properly, Marriott members do not need to add money. Various facilities and discounts for New Year's meals are also introduced. When we checked in, it was more than ten in the evening. His warm and detailed introduction made us feel right at home on our first night in Australia! I really regret not having asked him his name at that time, he should have sent a compliment email to the hotel. As for the location advantage of the hotel, it goes without saying that the attractions and shopping are all within walking distance, which is extremely convenient, especially the Hyde Park next to it. The rooms are spacious and newly renovated. The rich breakfast was recognized by the whole family and the Chinese stomach was well taken care of. Definitely the first choice for family outings!

Convenient location, walking distance from Chinatown, the room was ok because staying only for one night and not much else. It ’s just that the quality of the taxi driver at the door is too bad. I lied to my parents to say that he was the driver of the uber order. The international departure (in fact, they are going to the domestic departure hall), and the uber driver did not receive us, resulting in us being fined by uber. I can only comfort myself. Fortunately, my parents are going to the airport, in case it is too embarrassing to go elsewhere ... I hope the hotel can arrange a Chinese speaking front desk staff.

The boss was very nice before coming to inform the weather and gave the tourist attraction introduction Our early morning flight also helped us arrange a pick-up. The flowers cake and milk were also placed very carefully. The room was clean and hygienic. The location is good. It can be picked up by the car next to Rongfa Convenience Supermarket. It is not easy to walk near the ancient town. It is recommended not to stay at the inn deep in the ancient town. This is the best location. After getting off the car for 3 minutes, I saw someone calling a tricycle to go to the inn because I could n’t hold my luggage. The ancient town is not as noisy as the ancient city of Lijiang. It is commercial and suitable for accommodation. It is also more refined and less crowded. I like it and recommend it. I chose this room because I thought the room name was more artistic.
