The location is very good, there is a big supermarket nearby, the hotel has breakfast, and there is a small tea room with biscuits and wine. Smooth communication. There are paid parking lots and there are also paid parking spaces downstairs. There is also a nice dinner restaurant on the left side downstairs.

The family room with a fixed price, a big bed and a small window, a family of three is just right, the hotel is at the gas station, bus station, the pizza shop opposite the road and the Chinese restaurant buffet restaurant, the overall cost is very high.

My partner and I visited Florence and stayed 2 nights at this hotel. We enjoyed it so much. The hotel is stunning, entering and smelling good quality hotel. The receptionists were nice and helpful. 5/5 Cleanliness 5/5 The room is beautifully decorated, large and bright. 5/5 Breakfast was good. There was not a large selection of food, but there was a very large selection of teas. 4/5 There is a small parking lot for the hotel. Leave the car keys at the reception and if necessary they move and park somewhere else in the parking lot. The hotel is a bit far from the center, but after a walk of less than 5 minutes you reach a bus stop, where there is a bus every few minutes that takes right to the city center - about 15 minutes drive. It is important to note that it is not possible to pay in cash on the bus. There are 2 options: pay on bus on credit only or buy travel tickets at the hotel reception.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We were on the first floor, there is no lift so quite glad we didn’t have to get our luggage up to the top floor. The staff on reception and rally helpful and speak excellent English. Room was a good size, the bathroom was quite small but it was clean and functional. The walls are quite thin so you do hear a lot of other guests, especially at night when they are coming in. Breakfast was €6 pppn, it was a standard continental breakfast but the coffee wasn’t that nice. It’s about a 25 minute walk into the centre of Florence, we got a taxi to and from the hotel with our luggage, it cost around €17 each way so worth bearing in mind. My partner was bitten by mosquitoes whilst we were staying here, which didn’t happen anywhere else during our stay in Italy.

Florence is an amazing city but it can be difficult to find somewhere to stay. I would highly recommend this place as 1) location of it great 2) the area is beautiful 3) if you get breakfast included in your stay, it is really good breakfast and can save you money! The only bad thing, from my experience, was that our room was down in the basement. Other than that it was a great stay. Across the hotel there is beer gardens which also serve food. It was walking distance to the cathedral and viewpoint (if you don’t mind walking that is). The room itself was very spacious and that was great. It had air conditioning, a window, tv, good bathroom, a wardrobe and desk. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone!

I booked this hotel because I was driving. It feels very happy to come to the store. The taste of the manor is very full and has his own personality. Our original room was small, so I added more than 200 yuan for it. The room type is a bit higher, the room is a lot bigger, and it is very good. The only dissatisfaction with this shop is the service. After arriving at the shop, he found that he was a Golden Key hotel, and it was the Golden Key waiter who received us. We informed that the hotel needed to use the hotel shuttle to Florence at 10 o'clock the next day. He also said that he understood. The next day we arrived on time and changed to a front desk. After we asked her, she said that she didn't know, but quickly called for help. I got a car, and this was nothing, but when we waited for the car, we found that the car arrived, and he left without any handover. He asked the driver, and he was not sure if he was picking us up. We went in to the bar and asked. In addition, there was no goodbye when we left the store. Maybe we paid more attention because he was the golden key? Everything else is very good, only this episode is still recommended.

We spent five nights at Fornace Suites. The decor is new and beautiful and the hotel is very clean - definitely 5 stars. It's on the south side of the river, so it's a bit of walk to the main part of Florence. We had a problem late one night where the automated lights got stuck and since there's no front desk, we had to wait to have someone come and fix the system. We had to move rooms for the night and then moved back to our room the next day. There's a taxi stand not too far away, which was handy. There are also a few cafes nearby where you can get breakfast.

The location of the room is good, in the urban area, the room can be considered as a big, very fine hotel! The lobby of the hotel is very stylish. Breakfast dining environment is also good! The layout of the room, a family of three 👨‍👩‍👧 will not be crowded when staying! The child's bed is on the other side of the room. Good space, three suitcases don't feel too crowded! The bathroom space is not small, the shower room is very interesting, it is flexible and retractable! The hotel's air conditioner is a bit hot, and the air conditioner is turned off, but I still feel a bit hot! Everything else is fine! Very cost-effective hotel.

it is my third or fourth stay in this little B&B, centrally located at walking distance from both the railway station and the exhibition center, Fortezza da Basso. it is locatd very close the old San Lorenzo market. Large rooms, all renovated, nice and modern design, very comfortable bed, perfect cleaning. Room are equipped with a small fridge, air conditionign TV and a working Wi-Fi. The shower (no bathtub) may be dark in some rooms, but it is not a big problem, at least for me. Normal amenities in the bathroom. A basic but suffcient breakfast. Nice and friendly staff that can also help you in going around and/or booking trips and museums. Indeed very good value for money

This place is more like an "appartment" than a B&B. We stayed in room #4 which has two twin beds and is quite spacious. Upon arrival no one answered the door but when we called their number, someone came to help us within 5 minutes. My advice would be: make sure you have the phone number with you. I guess waiting, even if only for a few minutes, might not be nice when it's raining. We loved the wooden floor, the beautiful ceiling and decoration in the room (simple but in style with the old building) especially our chandelier :-). The bathroom is very modern but consists only of a toilet and shower. The wash basin is actually in the room itself, around a corner, which didn't bother us. There is a water cooker in the room but only tea, no (instant) coffee. So if you like to drink coffee, you have to bring your own. There are lots of TV channels but not a single English or other language one. The room is up a short flight of stairs and then a small elevator takes you further up. The location is just UNBELIEVABLE!!! A 5 minutes" walk from Palazzo Vecchio and 15 min to Ponte Vecchio. There is a taxi stand around the corner at Piazza della Repubblica. There are several good options for breakfast nearby. Would certainly recommend. Hard to beat the price and location!

Nice small boutique B&B. Check in was easy with everything explained and being personally shown around the hotel and to the room. The Superior room is exactly like the pictures, with a bathtub inside the room. Lots of space, large TV, and a bathroom with lots of mirrors! Lots of hot water, and the bath was great to use. Didn’t use it as a shower so can’t comment on the water pressure. Simple breakfast with pastries, cereal, spreads, yoghurt, juices, coffee, cold cuts etc served in the dining room. No staff onsite after 7pm, but there’s still little touches like mood lighting and music playing through the common areas.

I mean during the check in the entire time, the staff ignored me the entire time, I understand he knows I was with my friends, but I have my reservation separately, he should handle it by the order, and not just assigned me the smallest room just because I was a single person.I booked the exactly same type of room just like my friends, and their room is twice bigger than mine. And I can only eat breakfast in bed because there was no room to put it. That’s hilarious actually.

Location is good especially for those who likes walking, it will take you 15-20 minutes to reach the Duomo. Staff is very welcoming and friendly: they gave us a map and gave some recommendations about main sights and places to eat. Our room was very cozy, beautiful and clean. Also, the building itself gives you very special atmosphere. There were two bottles of water and some cookies for free in the room while check-in. Breakfast was very good (served in the cafe 5 minutes walking from the hotel): juice, coffee and baked goods (2 pieces to choose). This hotel is a very good choice for its price!

We spent 4 nights at this hotel last week. I always use trip advisor for recommendations and it’s always been on point and very helpful. This is the first time that I just don’t understand all these 5 star reviews. The hotel is on the 2nd floor of a residential building. When you walk into the building, there are stairs to get to the first floor. On the first floor there is a small elevator you can take to the hotel floor. Be prepared to carry your luggage up to the elevator. The room was big with high ceilings. The bathroom was a decent size as well. It seemed clean. The WiFi was a big problem as we couldn’t connect any devices due to their router having a problem. Luckily they had another room available and we were moved because that room had a stronger signal and because I needed the internet for work, I had to agree to pack our things and move. The second room was nicer. The design was better and it even had flowers which was a nice touch. They have a buffet breakfast with few choices and after the first few days, it wasn’t enjoyable because it was the same thing day after day. Bread, cereal, croissants, cheese, ham, Nutella, jam, fruits, juice. The dining area is nice. The biggest problem we had with the hotel was the smell. There was a smell as soon as you enter the hotel and it was even worse in the room and especially bathroom. In the bathroom was such a strong sewer smell. I was so disappointed. I’m not sure if the sewer issue is just in this hotel or others as well. The location was decent. It’s just a few minutes walk from the Santa Croce church and shops and restaurants. It’s about a 13 minute walk from the center where the Duomo is located. With all this being said, the hotel staff was very nice and helpful. They were willing to help with what’s needed.

I must admit this is probably the worst managed "hotel" in Florence by far, and we didn’t even get a chance to stay here. Our family member had a wedding in March that was cancelled due to the COVID-19 virus. All of our family and friends were all able to secure refunds in Florence at all hotels & Airbnb and really shows the wonderful nature of the Italians and the fantastic customer service you can expect in Florence. Unfortunately, we cannot say the same for The Moon Boutique Hotel & Spa. We were declined any refunds even due to our unforeseen circumstances, would give them zero stars if possible! however, we were offered credit valid for a year. Although there appears to be an intention of sincerity, it is however completely useless to us as we don’t know when and if we will ever be in Florence again after this or even next year or who knows to be really honest as travel is so restricted post-COVID-19. We Thought to contact the General Manager directly to have the matter resolved with him and get some sort of refund, unfortunately, we should have read the reviews about him before making a booking here. He has proven to be completely robotic in his email response to our family and clearly is not favoured by previous guests at this hotel. I do realize Italy has been hit harder than most countries. Surely this is a time to be helpful, understanding and accommodating rather than being firm on procedures completely disregarding this Virus and how it has affected peoples travel. If the hotel cannot honour a refund due to this virus it is completely indicative of their values, standards and the establishment on a whole. The problem with some of these boutique hotels around the world is that not being part of a big group they hire subpar managers and a team that are only driven by profit to make their bosses happy. When things head south don’t expect any honourable or top class service you would from a hotel chain or group. Never been so disappointed. Avoid!

No elevator, no elevator, no elevator! The important thing is said three times! If you want to climb a narrow staircase to the upstairs with a huge suitcase, you must choose this hotel! The shower room is terrible. The shower has a red, yellow and blue light, and the entire bathroom is colored. Service is general, active awareness is not strong! But a young girl at the breakfast bar was particularly enthusiastic. I had to miss the train that day. She packed it for me early, very good!

Capri Moon is about a 10-15 min walk from the train station. Just follow google maps to get you to the location. It will be hard to find but it is worth it when you find the place. When you get to the building 17 look at the panel for Capri Moon and press the button. Walk into the double doors and wait until they buzz you in the right gate. Walk upstairs all the way to the top and the guesthouse is to your right. Now for the room itself, the beds are comfortable along with the pillows. The restroom is great as well. The pricing isnt bad for the location and if you share with a friend or two, it wont break your bank account.

We, a family of 5, stayed here for 2 nights. PROS: great location. It is right on the edge of everything, so the streets are quiet but it is still close to the Duomo and Accademie. Clean. Everything was quite clean, the floors, bathrooms, beds. Super nice. The owner and his staff are all super I d and accommodating. Free breakfast. It is pretty “meh.” My picky American kids wouldn’t eat most of it. The fruit always seemed overripe and there was other weirdness about it. But they do try. Spacious. The rooms are large and the bathrooms not super tiny. My three gripes about it: It is very dated. The lobby area is probably clean but it looks like your great-aunt’s living room, cluttered with doilies, lace tablecloths and old appliances, so it looks a little grubby. Everything could use a fresh coat of paint. It looks like an older Airbnb vs a 3 star hotel. Our fridge didn’t work. We were there in the middle of a heat wave and would have liked for our water to be cold. The housekeeping turned off the air conditioning while we were gone. It wasn’t unbearably hot or anything but as I mentioned, we were in the middle of a heat wave and after walking all day in 102 degree weather (with a baby in a baby carrier!), it would have been nice to come back to a nice cold room. Overall, I’m not sure I’d stay here again. There are certainly a lot pro’s but the price for a more updated, nicer hotel isn’t that much more. If you’re trying to save a buck, it’s fine. If you’d like to feel happy about coming back to your hotel room after a hot walk about town, I’d probably choose elsewhere.

The hotel's location is in the heart of Florence, and is far from the main attractions of the core area, close to the Pitti Palace and the Old Bridge, is a region where the locals live more, compared to the main attractions area has a quiet alarm. There are a lot of art-run shops run by locals downstairs, which is worth a visit. There are plenty of local restaurants to try out downstairs. I will stay here next time.

Despite some issues, we liked the stay. Hosts are doing a great job. · The host was very friendly and explained us how to get to the historical center by public transport. We had room for two people with a queen-size (not sure) bed. The room had an extremely high ceiling and a chandelier, but the floor was covered with tile which would fall off in some places. There is a wardrobe, a TV and 3 sockets in the room (which is not enough, in my humble opinion). We had a shared bathroom for two rooms (L'Aranceto doesn't have other rooms, as I understood). The stuff tried their best to keep the bathrooms clean and fresh and succeeded in that, I must admit. Towels and shower gel are included but there was no hairdryer, so be aware. (It turned out you could ask the hosts to get it.) There is also a kitchen and garden in the hotel, which look quite cozy. You can buy products in the supermarket not far from the hotel. Location is good: there is a bus station just around the corner. And at that station there is the best confectionary ever – try pistachio croissants and you will return here just for them.

We had forgotten our jacket in a taxi on our way to the hotel and without us even asking, they called the taxi service and made sure our jacket was returned. The lady running the place was very friendly and extremely kind. The only issue we encountered was that the wrong address was provided in the TripAdvisor confirmation so we first went to an incorrect location, however when we called the property they directed us to the right place....so please make sure to check the address with the hotel. I chose this wonderfully special ‘home’ to stay in in the heart of Florence for my husband’s surprise 50 th & I couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place to stay for the occasion! The location for starters is spot on , close enough to walk to everywhere but slightly off the beaten track so it’s not too busy at night! Our hosts were absolutely amazing , nothing was too much trouble we were given recommendations for a restaurant for one night which was fantastic, help when we were planning our trip to Venice for the day & breakfast adjustments for me being a vegetarian ! The warmth extended to us whilst we were there was that of being with friends which most definitely added something to our stay, Alessio, Josie & the gorgeous Klajda went above & beyond anything I would’ve expected! The place itself Is like stepping back into 18 th century Florence but with a modern twist to make it truly comfortable & the attention to detail is phenomenal! One evening we came back to a bottle of fizz with two very generous slices of a delicious chocolate cake as a gesture for my husband’s special celebration- it’s the thoughtful touches that make all the difference & this place has those in abundance! Thankyou all for making out stay absolutely perfect! Emma & Bill

We have just stayed three nights in this accommodation and found it amazing for the price we paid. It is in a very good location (around 15 mins to train station. 5-10 mins to mercato Centrale, 10 mins to galleria d’academia, 15-20 mins to most other things to see). The host seemed nice in the minimal interactions we had, gave us a map and explained how to get places and said hi each morning as we left. The rooms were clean upon arrival and were tidied each day. Not entirely sure why so many people are moaning about some of the rules you are asked to adhere too which I would say are all entirely reasonable, especially considering the price paid. Very enjoyable and would definitely return on future trips to Florence.

The hotel is in the old town and it is more convenient to walk for ten minutes from the Church of Santa Maria del Fiore. The breakfast is also good, the variety is enough, the service staff is very warm, and his kitchen is always open, you need hot water to burn it yourself, there is juice in the refrigerator, you can use it yourself.
