When we arrived the chinese lady receptionist Mrs Mei was very friendly and gave us a terrific room with lake view, as I had requsted. All staff in all departments are very kind and friendly. The facilities in our room 188 worked perfect. The room was big and had everything a person needs to feel like home. The area is very safe all day long. Transportation is a few meters away from the hotel. Dam Square is approximately 15 minutes away with tram. The center station not far away from Dam Square taking the transportation available. Breakfast was great. Wifi worked perfect in the whole hotel. Location is perfect and the hotel isn't expensive at all. We stayed 6 nights. We came from Kos Island Greece. We will definitely book this hotel for our next visit to Amsterdam.

I managed to get a very favourable price for this hotel for a couple of nights. I have to admit, for the price and the looks of the outside, I didn't have very high hopes... However... I guess you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, as the hotel was extremely clean, and certainly more larger than I had realised, as the rooms obviously float over the lower shops around both corners of the building. The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The rooms were well equipped with a decent pod coffee maker [that also did tea :-) ]. There was a 40" TV, the beds were comfy, there was a phone, a decent array of mains sockets and also wall mounted USB charges! The bathroom was extremely clean, with a lovely large soaker and shower wand with plenty of pressure behind both. The beds, carpets and surfaces were clean, and there was a safe for use too. We stayed Friday and Saturday night, and had no issue what so ever with noise outside. Whilst the hotel doesn't actually have its own parking, there is free parking overnight on the street outside from 19:00 to 09:00 Mon-Sat and free parking all day Sunday and bank holidays. The parking tariff in the day is €2.50 hour [as of Oct 2020]. There is a square just opposite with a supermarket, a hairdressers and other various shops. There are also a good selection of food takeaway shops adjacent to the hotel, and some restaurants just across the street too. I would certainly rebook this hotel.

There are many public parking spaces outside the street, free parking; Wi-Fi in the hotel is very weak, and the area also interferes with its own Wi-Fi. The front desk service is enthusiastic and helps to print tickets for the game ... A five-minute walk will take you to the community supermarket and Poland Supermarkets, Turkish Japanese restaurants have some options ...

Hotel is very near tram stop, so you can get to town easily, and the train station that takes you to Schiphol is a few tram stops away. Room was small but reflective of the honest price Citiez charges. Room was clean, bed comfy. Hotel reception area is pleasant, and there is a good selection of drinks there if you don't fancy the local pub (which we definitely didn't!). Staff are brilliant - genuinely helpful and friendly. Breakfast wasn't of the cooked variety but plenty of very decent cheese, cold meats, bread (with toast machine) cereals, coffee, juice and so on. Teenage daughter wasn't in the mood for eating at 830am so I ate twice what I'd normally eat in order to get our money's worth. I'd happily stay here again. Location may not be for everyone: you're about 6 miles from the Damrak but for me this was a bonus, a chance to escape the noise and see what Amsterdam is like beyond the city centre.

I didn't expect to spend the night in Amsterdam but I was one of several hundred people that missed a connection after a storm had shut down the airport. I was in an absolute panic--but so was everyone else so the airline staff was completely swamped. The hotel the airport usually provides in these situations was already full so they told me I was pretty much on my own to figure out what I was going to do for the night. This place was a light in the dark. It was easy to get to (it's practically on top of the metro station), there's a decent bar/restaurant in the building, the rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was so helpful and friendly I almost broke down in tears. I can't recommend this place enough, it was the one bright spot in an otherwise awful day.

This hotel located nearby the Sloterdijk trein station, also you find buses, trams. the area is safe and quiet. The room was fine: good bed, a table & stools, kinchen zone (refridge, microwave, coffee machine + coffe, tea, the sink), a wardrobe. For our kind of room the bath room is not in a room but in front of. The bath room is clean and enough big. Free safe parking! Also i want to point out that the staff is very friendly and open for any help. Thank you! The one big minus: the room was not clean (dusty floor, spots/smudges in the kitchen area...) Probably I came back again.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay here for my Birthday and honestly they could not have made it any better for me. The lady that greeted us at reception who was called Giuliana was so lovely and accommodating throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble! Also Angen who works in the restaurant/bar area was also very lovely! We felt so relaxed and comfortable in the hotel also it is so very clean! These people work hard and long hours and must be quite tiring at times but you would never know, I can't say enough about how good my stay was and Thank You for making it very special for me.

The hotel is in a good location, less than 10 minutes' walk from Sloterdijk station, and there is a small supermarket nearby, but there are fewer restaurants nearby because of the new district, and it is very convenient to go to the windmill village and the city center. We booked a triple room. The room was quite large and provided free tea bags and an electric kettle. The water bar in the hotel lobby also had free coffee milk hot water. Shower gel shampoo body milk shower cap provided, toothbrush slippers not provided. The shortcoming is that the room is not powered without a card, the heating is not running, and the heating is installed on it, and the warm air has not come down, but we stayed for one night and the quilt was relatively warm, so we did not find the hotel front desk.

A great hotel for a trip to the Netherlands First of all, the front desk staff is really very warm and the service is excellent. Even if I can't send a train ticket to their official email, the staff still try to help me try the final successful print. Overall hygiene is very clean and tidy Go to the supermarket every day to buy It is recommended to buy day tickets for travel tram19 metro51 20-30 minutes Day tickets can be purchased from ako shop in sloterdijk or blue machine supermarket to albert heijin

The hotel is not in the downtown area. It is about ten minutes away from the train station of Emu Central Station. I think it is very convenient. Friends who need to book can consider this. There are etos pharmacies, spare supermarkets, ah supermarkets, Starbucks, pizzerias, and a bus center. It is very convenient to travel. The shower room can't be taken off, and the bath and toilet are all water, which is not very satisfactory. Room size is ok. The health work is also relatively general, similar to the domestic level of Jinjiang Star.

It was only booked for 3 days and then added another day. Since Sloterdijk Station is located at the intersection of two major railways, it is very convenient to live here to visit the surrounding The Hague, Leiden, and Delft. The hotel is next to the train station and turn left when you exit. The 0th floor is the entrance, the 1st floor is the front desk, and the -1st floor is the bus hub. There is a convenience store downstairs and a fast food box convenience store in the train station. The hotel is tidy and clean. There is a kettle, no refrigerator and safe. Breakfast is good and simple. The hotel staff are particularly friendly, they greet and greet themselves, they are responsive and feel very kind. Recommended to stay here

We stayed at this hotel for almost 4 weeks! A very comfortable stay - spacious room and a bathroom. Very comfortable bed. We really liked the clean and modern decor in white and grey theme: gave the room a very fresh look. The kitchenette had more or less everything to cook every meal, fully equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave, an electric kettle and a dishwasher! Wished it had a toaster too! Would have been nicer if it had a few more pots and pans and dishes/cups - it had just about enough but we constantly had to wash them to re-use them. Nevertheless, it was very enjoyable to cook meals and enjoy them with a glass of wine! Our room was on the 4th floor with large windows and a nice view of the Sloterdijk station. However, one has to get used to the train noise though as there were several trains passing by per minute and despite keeping the windows shut it was rather noisy. Once we got used to it, it was fine. Whilst the rooms themselves are very clean and comfortable, rooms do not get cleaned every day for the long-stayers! This I did not think was fair. Regardless of whether one is staying there for a few days or for long, they should be cleaned every day and have enough supplies of necessary items (e.g. tea coffee). perhaps management can look into this. There was a lovely rooftop terrace to enjoy. The hotel has a small gym, a laundry room (with an iron and ironing board (no ironing facility in the room)), and also several small items e.g. yoghurt, beer, drinks etc to buy from the hotel lobby. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect: right next to Slotedijk station from where it takes only 6 minutes to reach the city centre by a sprinter. The area was good, quiet and modern. We used to get our groceries from Lidle (about 15 mins walk from the hotel) which was way cheaper than Spar. Marmaris pizza (at the Holiday Inn Express) was very tasty! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there - it felt like being at home. We will definitely go and stay there again next time. A perfect stay!

Amsterdam Oud Zuid
When booking the hotel, both of my friends and my friends clearly saw that it stated on Ctrip that it was less than two kilometers from Amsterdam Central Station. As a result, when I got off the train and looked at the map, I was about to leave the city of Amsterdam. The traffic was very inconvenient! ! ! It's really inconvenient! ! It takes more than an hour to get to the city center every day. The hotel is remote. If you plan to spend late in the city center every day, the suggestion is to book a hotel near the city. The night is a bit scary.

The Moevenpick Hotel offers a great view over the old town and is convenient accessable by train, tram, ship and car. I arrive on a rainy morning and was please with the friendly welcome by the Fornt Office Manager Mr. John Caucian who went the extra mile to make me feel special. This is very rare these days in a big hotel. He explained the Corona meassures, gave me tips for the town and a arranged a dining table and took time explain the views from my room in the 18th floor and the use the gym. All in a very polite and charming way. Next morning I got a personal welcome from the Manager during my breakfast. This personal service make me feel very special. Together with the clean and comfi room and for sure makes me coming back next time. Well done - Top service, great rooms and a very good location.

Amsterdam Oud Zuid
Overall, the hotel is nice and well located, surrounded by the main museums. There is plenty space in the bedroom. The furnituries are new as well as the bed, bed clothes and comforters. I would say that the room where I stayed was bad illumintated. My only complain is that the hotel did not enforcement what his staff said to me about the breakfast price. It was offered to me for 8 euros per person per day. When I made my check out I was obliged to pay 18 euros per person per day. To me it seems to be a normal practise at that hotel, since I did not see any token saying the breakfast price. Be aware too, when you are making your check out, the hotel will charge city taxe of you. In my case I had to pay 50 euros.

The location of the hotel is good. It is about a minute walk from the tram stop (No. 17), but the location is not in the city center, and it is quite convenient to take the tram. The service staff is very good and provide a lot of assistance. The breakfast provided by the hotel is also good, with a variety of drinks and bread. Since we only have one day of accommodation, we asked if we could leave our luggage when we checked out, and the hotel would be happy to help provide space for us! This is great! No need to run around with your luggage! It ’s just that some of the hot water bottles in the room do n’t work, and the bathroom hair dryers do n’t work either. But overall the price is very high! Cheap and convenient! If you come to Amsterdam next time, you should still stay here! Pretty recommended! The room is quite big overall!

I had another short break at the start of March in Amsterdam and once again stayed at this wonderful hotel. As always my stay was flawless from start to finish. The reception staff were so welcoming and friendly and my check in was handled swiftly and efficiently. Every member of staff, from my contact booking the room, the concierges, breakfast staff and even staff in passing are so helpful and cheerful. My room was immaculate and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable and an excellent bed. Every amenity has been thoughtfully taken care of. The hotel could not be better located for staying in Amsterdam. Although right on busy and lively Dam Square, once inside it is tranquil and elegant throughout. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I am looking forward to returning very soon when the current travel restrictions are no longer in place. I wish everyone at the Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky well at this difficult time.

We stayed in this hotel during the Christmas holidays period for 2 nights and chose it due to it being very affordable and not far in distance from the city centre. Upon first arriving, we had to change rooms straight away after receiving a room without a shower head (so just the hose with no attachment..). However, this was quickly resolved by reception and we were moved immediately to another room on another floor with no problems in that room. The rooms are nice and big enough for a short stay, everything being clean and comfortable enough with lots of storage space for luggage etc. The hotel is a little bit of a distance from the centre... I would say about a 10/15 minute walk to the tram and then once you're on the tram depending where you want to go not too long... The travel from the train station from the airport was quite a distance, I think I remember this being about half an hour, but nothing too difficult. Overall, the stay was nice and is fine if willing to travel a little longer everyday to the centre, however I think because we were only on a short 3 day trip, staying somewhere closer would have saved a little bit of time. Also, if flight isn't until later on in the day and you want to explore still after checkout hours (which are early), the hotel keep your luggage which you can come back and collect when ready which is helpful, had no issues with using this service
