This is a budget friendly choice if you need to a short stay in Cebu city. Its ideally located near JY so transportation will not be a problem. They also have a resto called Tamp but its on the pricier side. Other restos/cafe just across the street as well. I had two overnight stays both booked on Agoda. The second stay, I decided to walk in however the front office desk agent advised me that they did not have availability. Strange. I booked a room via Agoda on the spot and was able to get the room and a good rate. Room pretty basic but it had the necessary amenities like coffee/tea making facilities. Also toiletries. Have to mention that on my 2nd stay, I was given a room that did not smell fresh. It was clean and all but the linens smelled like they did not dry properly so it was annoying. I did not raise an issue with front desk because it was just an overnight stay All in all, they offer better rates than the Yello hotel just across the road. They have long stay and day use rates as well.

One of the Best Hotels in Lahug offers quality accommodation that fits your budget -a walking distance to Cebu IT Park for freelancers/IT (if you are senior, has physical limitations, just chillin', on vacation with love ones/family/buddies, a freelancer- this is a safe, clean and quiet place) more than an hour ride to the airport. Lobby area is fair size with two very responsive staff receiving guests at the front desk during the day and awesome graveyard staff at front desk. Rooms are of a spacious (Deluxe Twin Room wherewe stayed with my family) size, separate doors for the bathroom and the restroom. Colors of the room are pretty relaxing (yellow for Yello Hotel). Decent speed for the complimentary Wi-Fi internet access (stayed at the sixth floor). The restaurant is located at the roof deck (they have three sets of working elevators) and offers variety of foods and drinks (they have a mini bar) at the roof deck. Free secured parking is also available. For public transport- taxi or grab ride. Will definitely recommend this place 5/5. When in Cebu, it is worth to give it a try. We are definitely coming back! Grateful for your hospitality to Hotel- Lahug Branch!

I booked this hotel as it was near IT Park. I liked that they have a ref inside. The beddings and towels are clean and smelled fresh. The place was clean, I just didn't like the pail and dipper as they looked like they haven't been cleaned. Shower was not working and no heater. They provide soap and shampoo. It would have been nice if they have an electric kettle in the room. They have a restaurant at the lobby, breakfast was good. Staff are hospitable.

Great city view. Room size is above average meaning bigger than other deluxe Seda rooms we’ve been to. Misto resto is with a great view but it can be easily get full and refill takes time especially the bacon. There is direct access to the Mall which is a good thing however there is not much yet in the Central Block Mall but the basics are there. It could have been 5 star if not for the front desk who called in the middle of the night 10:30pm. They interrupted our sleep for a mistake. We were asleep when they called to ask if we’re done with the iron and board which we previously requested but declined because there was no available. Other than that, it was a great 2N/3D. We’ll comeback when in town.

Excellent hospitality. Stayed here for almost 2 months and their service is exceptional. Alexis and the other staffs have the initiative to assist us even if we haven't asked. The front desk staffs are very warm and welcoming everyday. They even stay awake to open the main door if we need to go out during midnight for work. Rooms are clean. They make sure to provide toiletries and bathroom supplies regularly. I would rate it the highest I could. Hope I would be back someday.

Every thing is perfect, except the The smart Tv , I have to leave and check out the hotel because of the smart TV , the smart TV in the room have to use a mouse to Change the movies in Netflix , and it is very uncomfortable to use the mouse in the bed , the staff was very professional and very helpful especially the young lady at the lobby, she was very nice and professional, she fully refund me the full amount and she apologized, I love the hotel and I appreciate the staff , everything was perfect except the TV , hopefully they can fix this issue soon , looking forward to go back to 88th Avenue once the TV issue fixed 😁

Pros: Everything brand new, good service Cons: Blind between bathroom and bedroom operated from bedroom side. Stayed Nov-2022 in twin room for 1 night (to see if it’s worth returning to). 2*lifts which were beautiful inside but no assistance with luggage. Safe was not bolted to the furniture. Everything was brand new, was told by the receptionist:“103 rooms, 40 available, 30 guests tonight. Hotel opened in October-2022. Kettle, cups and coffee. Good shower cubicle. The blind that covers the large bathroom window separating the bedroom from the bathroom is accessed from the bedroom side (instead of inside the bathroom). Booked and stayed in twin bed room and received a telephone-call asking whether I preferred to move to a double room.

This visit to Marco Polo truly saddened me. If you read some of my past reviews of this hotel I noted it was my favorite place to stay anywhere in the world. This was my first post Covid visit and I was shocked and disappointed. - Basic maintenance has not been completed. For example, there is a glass elevator that goes to Blu their rooftop restaurant. This elevator was out of order and when I asked why I was told “Covid.” Covid travel restrictions were lifted a long time ago and that’s no excuse. In a second example, we returned to our room after a long night and the key did not work. It turned out the battery in the electronic device on the door needed to be replaced and the front desk understand the issue immediately, so this must happen often. Good hotels replace these batteries on a schedule so the guests never suffer from dead batteries. - Service, which used to be outstanding?@, is now unacceptable. First, the English language skills of most employees we encountered were sub par. Second, the person who checked me in was being trained, so the check in process was very slow. Third, service at the poolside bar during lunch was slow, the waitstaff inattentive and they failed to include my banana shake on the bill so as we are leaving the grab us and give us a second bill to pay. Fourth, service at breakfast was terrible. I had to ask for black tea three times before I got it, seeking some out 3 times as no one ever came to check on us. When we arrived around 9 AM there was no bacon (later replenished with bacon that looked so bad I did not even try it, fatty and not crisp), there was 1 banana, which was never replenished, there were no juice glasses (later replenished). The food quality was adequate but not nearly up to pre-Covid standards. Overall the service was lacking. - I was also disappointed that the lobby lounge, which used to have live music every night now has piano music only and only 1 night per week I am told. - There was a cart of dirty linens in our hallway both days Some of these things are not expensive or hard to fix. It doesn’t cost a lot to have live music in the lounge nightly as there are lots of singers groups looking for opportunities. It doesn’t cost a lot to make sure you change door card batteries regularly Others are basic requirements if doing business. For example you don’t leave a glass elevator to one of the most expensive restaurants in Cebu out of order for month/years. I am purchasing a condo unit in Marco Polo residences and expected to regularly visit the hotel for meals/drinks, but if this is the quality and service we can expect, then I will not be utilizing their services.

Such a shame really because with a little investment could be a great place. Its very clear nothing has been spent on this place for years, I do really struggle to give it a average rating for the money you pay. Is to sleep to much to ask for???. Drum & Base music till 5am everyday from a place 40m away. ( MANY REVIEWS HAVE SAID THIS GOING BACK YEARS I SEE) Still you can always drown that out with the 15 year old aircon units . Its like sleeping in a room with a car engine running next to your bed. (kid you not) On the plus side, its clean. Off to buy some earplugs . If i was the owner, i would be ashamed of the toilet near the reception. I bet there own house toilet is not the same.

The mattress was low quality. You can feel the wires of the springs. We turned it over but the same. It really needs a good thick mattress topper. The air-conditioner was very noisy. There needs to be signs in the passage way that should instruct people to be quiet because people sleep here. Kids were noisy, slaming doors and talking loudly.

A lovely isolated venue to get away from it all and soak up the sounds of the sea. The studio rooms are good, although the beds could do with a headboard- a few times I woke up with the pillars on the floor behind the bed. The pool is small, but adequate and there are plenty of other spaces to chill out and bathe in solitude. The shoreline is very tidal and you don’t get to water above knee height until you get over 100 metres out, but, once you get to deep water there is a very impressive reef with lots of fish and even sharks- of the safe variety. The food is of a reasonable standard, but it’s a limited menu and after 3 days, I think I had covered everything I could possibly eat. I do recommend the shrimp curry. Breakfasts were very good. There is work to do in customer service here- although the staff are very cooperative and pleasant, there are not many smiles shown and they seem to be a bit stuck in their ways and timelines. Requesting to have dinner at 7.30pm seemed an issue, as they came knocking on our door at 7.20pm and the food was already out! Playing pool with another couple until 9pm seemed an irritation to them and a request to have breakfast at 7.30am instead of the usual 8am start fell on deaf ears as we sat there from 7.30am until 8am when breakfast was then served..,, no big deal, but this place could be amazing with some thought and planning on making the facilities and staff as well as the location fantastic too.

There are three pools and shallow water in front of you, so it's great for kids. The staff service was great. There is no help for it, but there were so many insects and they came into the room. . . There are several types of breakfast for Japanese people. . . that too. But the sea is in front of you, so I can forgive you!

Spent my required quarantine here for international arrivals. They are one of the approved quarantine hotels. And when I was searching for quarantine hotel before departure, they were the most responsive and flexible as travel covid protocols constantly changed; made my reservation via email. I opted for the package that included meals and airport transportation. Everything worked seamlessly -- from airport pickup to checkout. Hotel personnel were helpful and accommodating with our special requests, room was basic but clean and everything were in working order, beds were comfortable, AC noise acceptable, clean bathroom with good water pressure and hot water, and really great wifi which was a life saver while on quarantine.

There's laundry & dry cleaning services downstairs and shopping, dining, and entertainment with in short walking distance. I'd recommend Sugbo Mercado (outdoor food court) for evening food options. I actually bumped into the owner Jason and he was kind enough to show me another apartment he has available and recommend nearby Gym. So many errors with this hotel. First: The name is a sham! There is no beach at all connected to the hotel. To be honest there are no beaches nearby at all. They do have a maybe 50 meter connection to the sea squeezed in between two big concrete walls, but that should be more considered as a torned down harbour with a rocky coastline if anything. Often with lot of garbage floating close to shore. Secondly: The hotel tries to make money out of external events hiring their grounds, which happens to be all of the common areas left outside your own room like the pool area. We stayed there for eight nights (15-23/5 2022) and from 8am to 11pm there were about two to four events every day making noice and playing loud music constantly. Often at the same time. In a very limited area there could be a private birthday party playing live music, a private student celebration with a DJ and by ”the beach” a private fitness event playing loud bass music - all at the same time. So to try to relax was impossible. When that stopped around 11pm it was almost a relief just to hear the constant noice from the heavily trafficked road right outside the reception. Talk about reception, the third problem: Their wifi sucks big time! We were there working and it was impossible to do our jobs properly using the room wifi that was crashing most of the time. I know that the Philippines are not Europe, but since the wifi in the reception was always working, it depends more on poor equipment than the bandwidth. Maybe they could use some of the event money they earn and put in new equipment? Lastly: The service in the restaurant is terrible. To get food under an hour even if it is almost empty is impossible. And to get everyone served at the table at the same time never happened. But that seems to be a general Philippino thing. The room cleaning has also more to wish for. It is hard sometimes too se if they even has done anything more than just make the bed. But at least they filled up the toothbrushes. I think I had four untouched at the end... If they would put that efficacy in all they did, it would not make up for the constant sound pollution and the false name, but at least skip some irritation. With all this said, if you like to live in the middle of an amusement park - this is the place!

I would give it a 3/5 for my 3 nights stay! The rooms were clean and quiet. It is away from the loud music or noise from elsewhere. The rooms are new as well. It is cheap so you get what you've paid for. Staffs at the Front Desk can be a little more welcoming to be honest. They will just look at you when you pass by the Reception especially during the afternoon time shift girl and guy and the 2 guys in the Morning are the coldest person ever. I think that what is lacking! They find it hard to greet you even a hi or hello! They should learn from the staffs in the 3 star Hotels in Bohol or Palawan. Despite their Hotel is not new they even out the experience with a sincere and welcoming smile. Could have also been better if they provide a minibar or a water kettle to have some coffee or something. If you are on a budget and no issues with unwelcoming staffs in the Hotel, This Hotel is recommended!

We tried out this little place because of the location near the airport and Cebu port. The rooms were small, but comfortable, and most importantly, clean. We visited multiple islands and we were there mainly to sleep or to get more items to visit another location. During the times we were out for multiple days, we paid for storage instead of paying for the whole room. The owners were incredibly nice and super helpful. After explaining our plans to them, they recommended transport options and locations. Only downside for most people, is that there is a 10 pm curfew. If you’re looking for more of a nightlife, this one might not be the one for you.

Fantasy is a good name for the resort because everything about redefines paradise. The bungalow suite had a working jacuzzi which made a very comfortable bath and steam sauna which was ideal for me to relax in. The kawa baths were my favorite as we watched the sunset while in such relaxing and hot water. The messages were nice and hope someday they will make a dedicated room just for that feature instead of it being in the rooms. The staff were all very friendly and worked with me online when though my schedule kept changing even ending transportation for me and all of my Filipino family that joined. My and my friend decided to spend a night at Cebu City before heading off to Bohol. We came across this cozy hotel located at the very heart of the city. We didn’t expect much since room rate is very affordable, perfect for backpackers like us. Much to our surprise this hotel exceeds our expectations. From our arrival time until our departure we are being assisted by their friendly staff. They made sure our needs are being met. The room is very clean from the floor to the sink, to the bathroom (which is my favorite by the way, because of its chic design). Bed is super comfortable, and they provide complete amenities as well (soap, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste). At the ground floor, you can find your basic needs since there is a 24-hour convenience store, restaurant and pharmacy for your immediate medical attention while on travel. There is also café, milk tea shop, massage spa, hair & nail salon, dental clinic and study center within the hotel building (at the 3rd floor). This hotel is worth every single peso we spent. It will definitely be our temporary home when we come back in Cebu again for a short vacation.

A new hotel with well-trained staff, I am very pleased with the competence of the employees and the level of service, the advice of the hotel managers was very useful to me. On the sixth floor there was a small but comfortable outdoor swimming pool and also a gym. Breakfast was quite decent. Near the corner there was ”Nestia”: pharmacy and minimarket, which helped me out a lot. Overall, I am very pleased with the hotel and the level of service. However, you need to keep in mind that if you need beaches, they are located only on Mactan Island, which is 30-40 minutes away by car. The nearest large supermarket to the hotel is Pacific Mall, about 10 minutes away by car. If you have several people in the room, then the location of the toilet (just behind the partition from the bed) may seem inconvenient.

I am a solo traveller and I have booked Indino Guest house several times, specially during the pandemic and I have loved the place ever since. However, my last booking was not that pleasant. I reserved a room for one night (Friday night), once I got there I told them that I might extend for one or two more nights to which the resort staff assured me that I just need to inform them. It was a big room with two big beds. I was happy to get that room. Saturday came and I was asked to move to another room because another guest will occupy the current room I'm staying at. It was no issue to me, so I moved in with all my stuff to that new room. What surprised me was the fact that I heard the resort owner complaining to his staff why they transferred me to room 4 when I'm just a lone traveller. Room 4 has one big bed and one double deck bed. Saturday was a hot day and it's brownout (no electricity). I went out to eat breakfast when suddenly the resort staff told me that room 4 where they transferred me is also not available due to prior booking which they failed to mark in their calendar. I was dismayed and disappointed. They told me that there's no more available room in their guest house. I asked if they can help me find a room from the same Indino compound but they didnt even bother to help. They made me feel unwanted. I was frustrated in the situation plus the fact that there's no electricity and the weather is too perfectly hot. I was checking Agoda for available rooms in the area when the resort owner told me that they have this tiny but newly renovated room available but they doubt if i'd take it. I was happy to hear this. I checked the room and it was really small. It was able to accommodate one single bed with a little space to move from bed to shower. It was like a maid's quarter or smaller. The AC did not function well. It can get rid of the heat but it never was cold enough to satisfy me. I only learned this later that day because there was no electricity to test it. It was not a good room but I still accepted the offer because I was too tired to look for another room in that hot day. I paid 2/3's of my last night's rent in this tiny room but the size is like 1/3 of that room. It would have been a great stay if they were more helpful in securing my comfort. The room's rate was never an issue for me anyway. Verdict: I DO NOT RECOMMEND INDINO GUESTHOUSE FOR SOLO TRAVELLERS.
