1.5km from PivariumI have stayed at Senator Victory Square apartments numerous times. This latest was for one night on June 10th. As always, the staff was amazing. Helpful, courteous, just a pleasure to deal with. I arrived early but they let me have my room and they offered to let me stay beyond the noon check out time if needed (it wasn't, but the offer is appreciated). My room was immaculate, the bed very comfortable. The apartments are at the perfect location for ease of travel or exploration of the beautiful city. I'll stay there again in a few weeks when I must return to Kiev. Great place.
1.62km from PivariumThe hotel is new - has only a few years. The location next to the train station is very good. There are many restaurants, shops, metro station and bus stops around. The center is very close. The hotel has a nice restaurant. The rooms are furnished as in other Ibis hotels - bed, desk, TV, bathroom with shower... Unfortunately, there is no kettle or iron. This was my next stay at this hotel. The previous ones was OK. Staff was always friendly and rooms was clean. Unfortunately, this time everything was different. I stayed here three nights. I asked for a room away from the elevator but got a room right next to the elevator. Too much money was charged on my card upon check in and refunds may take up to 14 days. I asked for a transaction authorization code which the bank requires from me but the hotel did not give it to me. For the first two nights, I heard noises that I thought were coming from other rooms or pipes in the walls. On the third night, the noises were already very loud and I found a poo on the desk. I looked for a mouse or a rat in the room for about an hour in the middle of the night and I found a... bat. I didn't open the window during my stay, so I don't know how many days or weeks the bat was in the room. He began to fly around the room and bathroom. He finally got stuck in the plastic casing under the sink. The receptionist offered me to change my room but I didn't agree. First of all, I only have 4 hours of sleep left, so carrying all my things would be pointless. Secondly, it would condemn the bat to death because the security guard was unable to free him. So I rescued the bat myself, showed it to the receptionist and the security guard, and then we give him freedom. After a sleepless night, I checked out to go to the airport. I just hope the bat was healthy. The stay was strange. I hope hotel staff will check all of rooms and give all animals freedom. So... Have a nice stay for all future guests. I'm not sure about go to this hotel again by myself...

1.78km from PivariumI stayed here 2 times in the last 2 weeks, first time 3 nights in a privilege room (which is a nice 20m²) and second time 4 nights in the deluxe room (27m²). The rooms are nice, beds comfortable (you can ask for you favorite pillows) and very clean. I like the free bottle of water and the variety in coffees and teas that are provided in the room. Bathrooms are great. I would have installed a rain shower instead of a normal shower, but maybe that is a personal preference. The privilege room had a nice shower, the deluxe room a big bath with an integrated shower. (in this last one I would change the curtain for a glass wall). Everybody from the staff is very friendly and helpful. A short walk to the metro (10 minutes) that takes you to the very center after a few stops. At the moment there are some road works between the hotel and the metro station, but nothing to worry about. The shopping mall across from the hotel offers all you need (supermarket, money exchange,...). The breakfast is great. First time it was a buffet and you could order your eggs with the staff, second time it was a breakfast à la carte with a great choice and no limit. Thank you Irina and the rest of the staff. In summer there is an outside pool. The fitness room is well equipped. In short: I enjoyed both stays.
1.86km from PivariumNo breakfast included, eaten at KFC across the road, there are many restaurants around, and there is a relatively large supermarket opposite. There is a big mall behind the hotel, which is very convenient, and there is a parking lot at the door. The hotel lobby is good, it looks good, but the room is a bit small, and the four hundred yuan should be very large in China! The front desk can borrow adapters, kettles, and elevators require a credit card to use.

2.08km from PivariumMy stay with Apartments CityHotel has been excellent. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with quick and easy access to great food and entertainment by foot or taxi (Uber + Bolt!), and is ideal for someone that needs to stay for an extended time - all the amenities are efficient, modern and clean. The bed is cozy, the room is well-lit with large windows and adjustable blinds, the tile floor is heated, and the staff is quite pleasant and accommodating. Some of the artwork in the room is... curious... but all very standard for this area. The smart TV in the room is nice with access to Netflix, but the cable TV does not offer many international or English-speaking channels. But I don’t stay here to watch TV! This is a very nice place to come home to and recover after long days working or vacationing in the city.
2.09km from PivariumThe place is small, on two floors only. Rooms are on the small side, but adequate for one person. Rooms are clean, and have adequate amenities. A Nespresso machine is available. I recommend this affordable hotel for solo travelers.
2.22km from PivariumThis was my first trip to Ukraine, eagerly looking forward to exploring the famous city of Kiev and we chose the Ibis Kiev City Centre ,early flight from Manchester,30 plus minute bus transfer to the train station and a 10 minute walk to our hotel ,checked in immediately by a very pleasant member of the reception team and allocated a room on the 6th floor ,room was really good ,a twin bedded room ,lots of storage space, flat screen tv with English programmes, bathroom spotlessly clean ,room warm and cosy ,it was just a really good room in a really good hotel . We had a fantastic stay here and when we visit Kiev again in the near future we will most definitely stay here .
2.26km from PivariumThe Opera Hotel is centrally located in Kyiv within walking distance of Khreshchatyk street and the Maidan square. The Opera offer free internet and has an adequate gym. I did not try any of the SPA facilities while I was there as I generally find, that when it comes to price versus quality, that hotels are offensively overpriced the Opera being no exception. There are plenty of great and easy to find massage and SPA options available within walking distance of the Opera Hotel. The breakfast buffet was replaced with an a la carte breakfast, served at the bar/restaurant area in front of the hotel, due to the COVID situation. The quality of the breakfast varied a bit according to day of the week, it was however generally of a high standard. The only drawback was that the breakfast was not available until 0800 and it generally took around 30-40 minutes before the food was served. You can however have a pre-ordered breakfast served at your room from after 0500 in the morning if you are in a hurry to get to work. I did not use the television as the free internet was more than adequate for streaming. BE AWARE that the free internet is an open non-secure internet, so use a VPN or a MI-FI to protect your devices. The rooms are spacious and well kept. All in all - The Opera Hotel is a high-end hotel, which is also reflected in the price, that deliver what is promised (and expected). If you are looking for a base during a longer stay in Kyiv I can highly recommend that you stay at the Opera Hotel.
Hotels Near Pivarium In Kiev Review
The location is very good, I can see the Statue of Independence in my room window, great. Note that the rental at the entrance of the hotel is a black car. Before driving, the car will take the taxi tag and make a price. When we arrived at 2 am, the airport officially rented a table to the hotel 520 grids, and took a black car to the cave monastery 3-4 kilometers, 300 squares. Even the front desk is not responsible for the rental, the transfer of a person in the lobby of a travel company, come back to the airport to say good 800, the driver on the bus to 880. It is also a black car with no watch.
This is a good standard 3 star hotel. The rooms are clean and on the higher floors you have a great view in all directions. It is close but not too close to the main railway station (you can see it in the distance from the hotel) and it is opposite the botanical gardens and about 250 mtrs from a metro station It is not centrally located for the tourist destinations, they are all a good 20 minute walk away and Kiev is very hilly but you could always use the metro nearby. The hotel decor is pretty much soviet era very dark and functional, and the room TVs look like something from the 60’s. Bathrooms are tiny, sitting on the loo with the sink literally over your lap!! However the shower was hot and strong (probably stronger than the shower cabinet) Within two minutes walk on the same street, you have a very popular ethnic restaurant, a cafe also selling gorgeous chocolates and a bar selling equally gorgeous cider.. If you can cope with the long walk to the centre, then this is a fairly good place to stay. Hopefully management will spend a bit of money brightening the place up, replacing those antique TVs and improving the WiFi which is very hit and miss
Very good international hotel chain, this hotel is also a brand hotel when attending the Monte Carlo Circus Festival in Monaco. This hotel in Kiev is very well situated. It is just off the scenic Dnieper River. The surrounding traffic is convenient and there are many places to eat. The breakfast at the hotel was very good.
No breakfast included, eaten at KFC across the road, there are many restaurants around, and there is a relatively large supermarket opposite. There is a big mall behind the hotel, which is very convenient, and there is a parking lot at the door. Check in was an easy process The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The lift was really fast! The room was of a good size and warm, with lovely bedding and was very clean. There was tea and coffee, which was lovely after a long day out at Chernobyl! The shower in the bathroom was fabulous, and the under floor heating was a real treat!I There was a tube station straight outside the hotel, which was convenient and cheap.I 2 days wasn't long enough as there is loads to see, we will be back.
If I feel adventurous I would pick a local brand when I travel. I did try that in Kyiv previously. It didn’t work out. Kyiv is unlike other European cities. So this time I chose Hilton Kyiv. I have Hilton status. It delivered with no surprises. Was in the executive wing with its own elevator to the 24-hour gym. The room was good size and comfortable. The lounge spacious and quiet with professional and pleasant services. The gym is a bit small but sufficient. The breakfast was quite satisfactory. The lobby bar was comfy. Hilton is not at a flashy location like the Intercontinental or Hyatt but still short walk to the town center. There were mostly business travelers and quite a lot of Americans. I found it a comfortable place and it would be my place to stay in Kyiv.
