This review is regarding the apartment in building Delta (there are two more IRS apartments in two adjacent buildings). The apartment “Jantar” is in a newly built building (maybe 5 y old). The bathroom and kitchen is fresh and clean. The bed is not very comfortable. The pillows are old and full of stains witch isn’t what you would expect. The sheets are not big enough for the bed witch gives the effect that you will wake up lying directly on the matress. There is no AC or fan so when its warm weather it’s impossible to be inside the apt and you need to have the windows wide open at night. The problem with having the windows open is that the road outside is very close and extremely loud. It’s close to the local hospital so all the ambulances will drive by the window disrupting the sleep. For the price I would get a proper hotel next time.

Villa Eva was an amazing place for our wedding. From the start they were really open and they spoke English and Polish (quite important for an international couple like us). Everything was taken care of so we did not have to worry about anything. Even during the party no annoying issues came in our direction. We just had to have fun :) We just had to choose the menu (and there were options for special requests in case someone could not eat some specific ingredient). We took care of some printing materials and they distributed by the tables. They could also have taken care of some of those things but we wanted to do it ourselves. They were open to receive some Portuguese sweets and were able to propose some Portuguese wines. The space is really charming and perfect for a 60 people party. Waiting staff were really nice as well. The food was really good and we still brought a lot of it back home. The desert was amazing (chocolate cake with raspberry punch, whipped cream and fruit - choose it for your wedding, you'll not regret it).

Stayed at this hotel for four nights in January. It's across the road from the main church and just a short walk to the marina so great for finding good restaurants within walking distance. Also five minutes walk to the main railway station where you can get a train to Sopot which is a lovely seaside town and takes around 15 mins. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and hotel room we stayed in very clean with comfortable bed, good shower room. I would definitely stay at this hotel next time I visit Gdansk which is an amazing place to visit with lots to see and do. Only disappointment was the tv did not have British channel to catch up on UK news.

We have just returned after a fantastic week at this hotel. The location is 40 mins tram ride from Gdansk. The beach is 3 mins walk from the hotel with a lovely prom to Sopot. The hotel rooms for families had enough space and a balcony. They were clean, although my only negative was that these rooms got very warm on an evening. The reception area had a little indoor play area, which kept my 3 year old entertained. It also had a lovely outdoor play area too. The hotel staff were very friendly and went to extra lengths to surprise us for our birthdays. Thank you. The breakfast was lovely, just one thing to note is you have to request fried eggs and bacon. The takeaway coffee was a bonus. We used the swimming pool every day and it was always clean and the water was lovely and warm. It had a lot of sunbeds round the side so you could relax as well as splash. Great value for money.

One great and quite hotel which is clean and located maybe 15min from downtown Gdansk. Clean rooms and good staff except that they never say hi to you when you enter the hotel. The hotel is close to a supermarket where you can buy almost anything. The price for 2 persons for 2 nights was around 1000 Swedish kronors so its really worth it in my opinion. One things I like a lot is the reception area which offers you some cozy seats and nice and warm lightning.

We prefer to stay in apartments than hotels, you just have more freedom, especially when your exploring. This apartment is excellent, it has a really big open plan lounge/ dinner/ kitchen. Beautiful bath too.Great location on the first floor with a nice balcony. These apartments were built only a few years ago, and are located in the Marina, so only a short walk to the Old Town, really good secure location too. If I were being picky, no English Channels in our apartment, and you can't open Iplayer in Poland, good job the weather was great.

You pick up the keys at 'Hotel Number One' (something not made particularly clear on booking info – we went through Ryanair rooms) but we found it fine from the address. 10-12 mins walk from Gdansk Srodmiecie station. Tip: you can get to Srod by train, change at Gdansk Wrzeszcz from the airport. When you get to Srod instead of walking out of the station towards the big shopping centre, just walk back along platform and there is an underpass to the main road, saves a lot of crossing of roads and probably 5-10 mins. Apartments are not avail until 4 but they are happy to stow bags, and the check in staff were great, friendly, good English etc. and Hotel Number One is nice i.e. a proper hotel with 24 hour reception and so on. There is a 150 zloty cleaning fee, plus city tax (not much). This wasn’t made absolutely clear at booking but the booking cost did drop, so I was happy enough that I had to pay it. You walk round the corner to the actual apartment. It is 3 mins walk from tram stop 8, 5 mins from the river, and less than 10 to the old town. 3 minutes to a small supermarket that closes at 11pm. The apartment itself was great, fairly new, nicely decorated – good dining table with 6 chairs. It was spotlessly clean. We were 5 people (all adults really as our kids are teenagers) had 2 bedrooms (both large doubles) and a sofa bed (we actually had two sofa beds – one was a big one, suiting two, one a little one, which would be fine for little kids – really easy to put up and decent quality) which was what we had expected, plenty of bedding (some is within the sofabed with towels etc.) and a fully equipped kitchen, little balcony with seating for two. There's a washing machine and dish washer (was very pleased to see they had provided a couple of washing machine tabs, even though we didn’t use them). Wifi was good and free. Use of the spa next door was included with the price, you need sliders or hotel slippers (but they can sell you these for 8 zloty) this is not uncommon in poland. The spa staff were lovely, when I explained I had not brought my wallet down, the lady was fine, gave us the hotel slippers and we nipped down later to pay. Made to feel very welcome even though we had kids with us. Spa and pool were busy but it was fine and pool was a nice temperature (coolish for us brits, but better than you normally get which is bloody freezing). There are only 3 changing cubicles so it can be busy, so not a bad idea to go down with costumes on underneath clothes. We went to the restaurant at Number One in the evening, were quite glad we had not had the meal inclusive deal, and you can buy this on the night for 54 zloty (it is a buffet but looked a bit lacklustre/not much choice) Restaurant food was OK, nice enough, but expensive for Poland (wine was particularly expensive). On leaving, we again stowed our bags, and check out was swift and staff again, great. I paid about 100 quid a night for 2 nights in August inc of the cleaning fee/t

First of all i review hotels according to their stars, in this case it means that its way more then a 3 star hotel. The staff is very good. The rooms are really good size, beds ok zise but real god matrasses. Clean everywhere. Good amentitis, free coffe/tea/water and also a minibar Wifi ok. Nice common verandas. Close to public transport. So to the things that make this hotel something extra. Breakfast in 3-4 star hotels can be a great dissapointment, this hotel had hands down the best breakfast i have seen in eastern europe, the only small flaw was that they only had 2 juices, but overal way beyond expectations. The jacuzzi area. Real nice jacuuzzi are which you pay 20 zloty to be in ( apx 5 euros/dollars) Relaxing beds steam bath jacuzzi etc.

We wanted to stay in a hotel with character during our weekend break to Gdańsk, and Gotyk House did not let us down. We checked in late on a Friday night when Reception closed. The staff informed us of this in advance and sent us clear instructions of how to access our room at this time. The check-in process was therefore very straightforward. The main hotel is the oldest building in Gdańsk. We stayed just round the corner in a separate, modern wing. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm and cosy - very important for a trip to Gdańsk in November! We would have appreciated an extra pillow each and noticed that the water pressure in the shower was not great but these were not significant issues. As you are right in the middle of the Old Town, the bells from the cathedral and noise from people passing by under your window may disturb you if you are a light sleeper but we were not really disturbed by this, and the prime location of the hotel made up for any noise we did hear. Overall, a fantastic stay in a beautiful hotel where we would not hesitate to stay again.

Very nice stay - excellent location (center of the Old Town). Clean, comfortable and spacious room (4th floor with balcony). Nice breakfast - a bit limited service and variety of dishes because of the pandemic (restrictions). Helpful staff (we had a small problem with a window roller-blind at the beginning, but it's been fixed very quickly by technical team). For guests with cars - hotel underground park lots are available. It is necesary to wear face masks in public areas (lifts, corridors, lobby, reception...). Very nice hotel, good value. We'll stay here once again next time.

We spent 3 nights here as a group of 4 girl friends. The apartment is beautiful, on the top floor with a fabulous balcony and a slide! It was spotlessly clean with 2 twin/double rooms, 2 bathrooms and a games mezzanine. Check in and out was super easy at the office a couple of doors down and they held our luggage for us on the last day. The location could not have been better, a short walk into the old town and all it has to offer. 2 little niggles. 1, someone was doing work in one of the apartments and started drilling at 7am on the weekdays. I appreciate it’s a residential property so work has to be done but 7am seemed unreasonable. 2, using the pool was a nightmare. It’s a long walk through various corridors and a couple of lifts to get to it, on the first day we weren’t allowed in at 11.45 on Sunday. The 2nd attempt we were not allowed in as we didn’t all have key cards. We were standing in the hallway in costumes and towels so unlikely we would have walked off the street in the snow, but the lady on duty was not budging. A little over zealous I thought. Overall a fantastic stay for the price and I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

Good location, nice beach, guard on the beach 9-5pm, however, rooms small, bathrooms like 30 years old, half board - too late dinner, smell in the dining room is strange if air conditioning is off, if it is on - its terribly coooold inside. Food good, but breakfast every day the same. Amount of kids is overwhelming because kids up to 5 pay zero. Cleaning every 2nd day. Animation for kids, spa and fitness - acceptable. Ridiculous proce for "parking" 12 PLN per day...if you park in the middle of a pine forest. Far from everywhere but good communication by bus 8 minutes to the bus stop. No shops nearby, hard to buy water - one shop on campsite nearby, but they charge everything 150% normal prices and offer low quality. Sometimes hard to pay card - wifi and internet breaks down with wind. Receptionists at the hotel do not smile but are like lazy or tired....Ball-poor and kids playground good - in the season recommend for families. Out of season - for elderly people - pine wood quiet.

Hotel Gryf is nothing like some of the reviews on here. For a start, it's not old fashioned at all and no way does it resemble a hostel. I was expecting something from the communist era after reading rubbish reports on here. The hotel is far better than many hotels I've stayed in and I really could not fault it. Very spacious room on the 2nd floor, clean, comfortable, with a large flatscreen TV. A kettle was provided with complimentary tea, coffee and even a can of mineral water. The bathroom had a large mirror, a shower over the bath, very good water pressure and good quality shower gel supplied in a dispenser. Breakfast was far better than I was expecting. A selection of hot and cold foods - scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, cheese, cold meats, fish, salads, bread, cereals... The maids cleaning my room were very pleasant and did a great job. Anything I needed was quickly replenished. The reception staff all spoke good English and all were very polite and helpful. Check in was quick and easy, same with check out. There is some building work underway next to the hotel. It looks like a fairly big job, not sure what is being built, but the rooms have good soundproofing so it didn't really bother me. All in all, a very nice stay at a really nice hotel. Thanks.

My Son and i decided to stay here for one night on our way driving round Poland. We saw this B+B on hotels.com priced £43.00 not including breakfast. We stayed here on sunday 30th june 2019 Poland suffering its highest temperatures ever on this day. When we checked in the girl on the desk called Monica(who spoke a bit of English)gave us room 10 as we needed a twin room but we didnt realise the room was up 4 flights of stairs at the top of the house! So a tiring ascend each time.At first glance its quite a nice big room with 3 single comfy beds plus a balcony you can step out on or sit out on plus a nice en-suite with big shower. When we got here we put our bags into our room and got reception to order us a taxi into town while the sun was still out.The taxi costs 26 Szloty.so about a fiver.not too bad but i suggest anyone else walk into town aa its downhill then get a taxi back as its a longish haul back up steps to B×b as we found out(LOL).We had forgotten to buy water and/or drinks to have in the room but assumed our room would have a fridge or mini bar with drinks in it! Nope! No fridge or mini bar and no drinks! Very Tight of them not to even put a small bottle of water in room! Plus theres no air-con or even a fan!! Tight again! And very stuffy warm room.So i had a cool shower and then put the kettle on for a cup of tea or coffee to quench my thirst! Then theres no milk or milk powder! So no drink! We arent having breakfast(they could provide it free!).Gdansk is a lovely place but when i return i wont stay at La Petite again! Oh and if youre driving here be careful on the bumpy cobbled road outside. If you walk out of main entrance of b+b straight opposite are lots of steps, walk to the bottom then turn right and keep going straight down into town it takes about 20 minutes.La Petite should AT LEAST buy one fan for each room plus provide free bottled drinking water in the room and stock milk sachets on the tea/coffee drinking tray.

I wanted to give 0 stars but I couldn’t! This bloody disgusting hole not even a b&b can’t even be compared to a hotel. It’s a gross place owned and commanded by mean maids who act like Poland is still in communism. They are suspicious and so invasive that is is scary. My confidential information has been breeched and I can’t leave my room because I’m petrified that I’ll be murdered. I’ve never been this pissed by a hotel in my life. How can a maid treat a guest with such extreme disrespect. The maids in particular act like they miss communism. My peers who also booked a room and came all the way from Germany for an important confidential meeting were kicked out of the restaurant while waiting to meet. I have came all the way from Canada and if these maids acted like this in Canada they would be arrested and have jail time, that is how disgustinginly invasive they were. And afterword they threatened me by saying I would be arrested and go to jail and they kicked me out for literally no reason. We spent so much money on the hotel and ordered so much food that treating me like this is completely not allowed. Nothing we did was bad, explicit, or illegal. So this act from the maids is literally emberassing. The alleged hotel owner made many comments like “you and your guests are laughing too loud” to a group of over 50 year old adults including me that even though we ordered so much food and no other guests were disturbed, especially that we were on the patio. I’m done and I have no words.

The location of the hotel is great, just on the edge of the Old Town Square, very close to the river and convenient for eating. The Radisson Blue Label is an entry-level five-star brand in Europe. If it is not a particularly picky brand, it can satisfy the average traveler. The hotel has a good breakfast and many brands. You can also hang out in the old town by your own car, but there is no child safety seat in the back seat of the bicycle. The room is big enough, but there is no floor drain in the bathroom, and the shower water can't be eliminated. There is an electric kettle to boil water. Overall recommendation!

We (2 adults & 1 toddler) stayed in a one bedroom apartment for four nights. As our flight wasn't due to arrive into Gdansk until 11pm I wanted to stay somewhere that had 24 hour reception, and Apart Neptun has this. Reception organised airport transfer to and from the apartment. The aparthotel is excellently located near to all the attractions with many cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are a good size and there was a TV in both the living room and bedroom and excellent wi-fi. The kitchen has everything you need should you choose to cook for yourself. Hand sanitiser is available through out and social distancing appeared to be adhered to, this included the use of facemasks in common areas of the aparthotel.

First impressions of the hotel were ok checked in fine and looked clean and tidy , downside we asked for some suggestions on where to go for a drink but the receptionist seemed unsure and just gave us a map and one suggestion of which she didn’t write down so by the time we’d dumped our bags in the room and gone out we had forgotten !! Room was clean and tidy and beds were really comfy and crispy clean sheets and towels. Room was a good size for two people and a decent sized shower that again was clean and had plenty of running hot water. We don’t watch much tv on holiday but there usually is the world service on or something but no English channels at all which didn’t worry us so much . The hotel is situated close to the river we and only a short walk from main promenade which was great. Downside the hotel is a little noisy which is beyond the staffs control really walls are thin and you can hear other guests in their rooms . I am a light sleeper so struggled with this a little but didn’t complain as it is not something they can do anything about. Hotel is situated in a housing estate and there was issues with noisy members of the public which again is beyond the hotels control . Overall a nice hotel and we didn’t have any major issues .

Wonderful, nice and smiling people make it place. Friendly atmosphere. Surrounded by culture and art. You can catch your breath in comfortable conditions, jogging or yoga in the morning in beautiful Oliwa Park, have a delicious breakfast in "Jak się masz?" ("How are you? :) ) and spend the evening in "Tu można marzyc" (Here you can dream"). We will definitely come back here.
