2.66km from downtownThe hotel is literally opposite the ferry port, and although you would expect it to be noisy, the ferries are actually really quiet. Perfect location as well for the town centre. As a vegetarian I had no problem getting food in the evenings. The hotel organised the transfer from the airport to the hotel, especially with having to get the ferry over, and the driver was there waiting for us. The staff were so friendly, and Maria who was the first person we met and checked us in, is impossible to dislike! The only thing that could maybe improve is the breakfast. The hot food wasn't brilliant and didn't get replenished quickly, and if you like cake for breakfast then you'll be fine. But it's probably just personal preference as I didn't starve, and the girls will provide you with as much coffee as you like.

6.56km from downtownPiccada hotel is a big, old fashion hotle in a very good location, right in front the touristic port of Palau. The rooms are reasonably comfortable but the furniture is dated and the overall look of the place is of an hotel from the '80s. The personnel is very kind and friendly, trying to help the customers if they can. The room we booked was a superior room and they firstly gave us a nice room with a nice balcony facing the pier. The big problem with it was that on the balcony there was the AC motor unit of the near rooms, so, even if our AC was off, we had noise and heat coming in from the open window. So we had to switch the AC too and close the window, sleeping all night with AC that was NOT necessary and annoying. In Palau there is such a lovely breeze that sleeping with AC is a nonsense. The day after we asked to be moved to another room and, luckily thay had another identical, the floor above, but with no balcony and, luckily, without the noisy AC motor... The breakfast is generous but the quality of food is not that much. Almost NO local products and breakfast room that was partially dark and, again, with annoying AC that made the stay uncomfortable. Unfortunately there are not open air tables, apart one that is for smokers, so, if you were lucky that nobody was smoking in your face, you could have breakfast outside. The last disappointing thing was the parking. We had a car and the choice of Piccada was because they advertised the parking available. Unfortunately, they did not say that the parking places were not enough for all the guests and so, parking the car has been truly hard, even if we paid for it... So, all in all, for a three nights stay, it was not completely good, and not completely bad, but for the price, sincerely, we expected something better.
6.75km from downtownI want the hotel to know that the Boutique hotel Rafael is one of the most lovely accommodations that I ever could find. Such a stunning location, such an exquisite setting and such warm hearted people from the hotel staff with the lovely Elisabetta and Laura (whom I just know from the phone and our very pleasant email contact!). The rooms (we spent 2 nights in a room with balcony and switched for the last 3 nights to another lovely room) were delightfully decorated and super clean. Yes, the sea-view from the balcony is a picture book one, but the other room convinced us even more because it was quiet and shady in that super hot week that we had. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruits and as much good Italian coffee as we wanted to drink. We recommend to go for this hotel if guests do have their own car because there are so many good restaurants in that part of Sardegna, that one really has to try out as much as one can every single day. Be aware that there is a bit of a way to walk "down" with your luggage on a romantic but bumpy granite street, which is not accessible by car! Make sure that you really do not carry useless things in your suitcase, you will regret it when you have to carry it back to the car! About eating in that location: Yes, there is an exclusive fish restaurant which attracts some upper class guests in the same terrace that for the few hotel guests is also the breakfast area. We tried it, but you can eat good fish also elsewhere for less money. The blond lady there who served us the meals was not a really good host, treating us like just paying guests but without hospitality just haughty, telling unimportant things about her like in which good restaurants she has worked already. But the more simple the places are, where one goes for food and drink, the more warm-hearted the staff! Negative: The whole porto Rafael area is in the hand of a group of co-owners and they make the rules there for everything. Sometimes it gave us the feeling of "VIETATO-land" (prohibited signs almost everywhere) and that has left the only bitter taste of our stay there. They even forced our lovely hotel staff to ring us up late at night after we were coming home from a lovely day on a different beach and were placing our wet towels on the balcony, to re-place them from the visible part of the balcony. That was absolutely not coming from our hotel staff, they always were sweet - but the people who own residences there, are somehow "overdoing" it! Most of all that couple living opposite the hotel, running a jewelry shop - they sit in front of their shop and residence the whole day and evening, watching everything like "Waldorf & Statler" but without being funny ;o)
9.45km from downtownWe have just returned from a very relaxing stay at Cub Hotel. If it were not for a very helpful staff, I would probably not rate this hotel as 'very good'. The location of the hotel is perfect, next to the beach and the hotel has a private beach which is great as we are avid swimmers. Rooms: We booked double classic room (garden view) - the room was spotless, beautifully decorated but unfortunately the air con did not work. We were offered an upgrade to a junior suite (sea view) - which was greatly appreciated and we cannot thank the hotel staff enough for this. Again, the suite was spotless, the beds were very comfortable. Internet - We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel but unless something is done about wifi, I am afraid we will not be returning. In this day and age not having proper internet is unacceptable. Unfortunately, I had to work on one of the days, not having any wifi in the room was quite frustrating. Breakfast - was not of a four star hotel level, more of a three star. We would expect a better choice of fresh fruits and vegetables and an option to order hot breakfast. We did not have dinner at the hotel, there are quite a few restaurants around but we heard the hotel restaurant is very good. Staff - The staff at the hotel are absolutely fantastic and the true asset of the hotel - nothing is too much trouble and they do best they can with what they've got. Beach - private beach is beautiful, you do need to bring swimming shoes with you as the beach is rocky but this was not a problem for us. Costa Smeralda is absolutely stunning and we would love to return to Club Hotel provided the wifi and breakfast choices improve.

10.67km from downtownWe came here on a daily mail offer it'our first visit here ,we found all the staff brilliant ,the reception team were very helpful and professional the hotel is spotless and the dining staff bar staff and the ladies who cleaned our room went out of their way to make everyone's stay enjoyable ,the young lady who sang every night was exceptional we found the pool to be very clean and everyone seemed to be coping very well with the restrictions of covid 19 dining was very pleasurable .The beache are clean and the water is so clear ,do not come to the resort excepting a lively nightlife but the beauty and tranquility is amazing ,catch the local bus to small towns with amazing beaches that are so clean or enjoy some good walks and go home feeling relaxed The Sardinian airport was so easy and quick to get through thankyou daily mail for the very efficient transporttion
11.09km from downtownThe place was clean and tidy. Check in hours are very difficult. They shut their office for 5 hours approx, 12-5. They will ask you to check in from 5 to 7pm although you have paid for a full day, not so nice. No coffee, tea bags or sugar available in the apartment. You have to purchase breakfast for 5 euros. Extra bed sheets are for a price too, per day!, although they won't change them daily. Nonsense. Communication was terrible. I would not visit this place again. Avoid.
11.15km from downtownI am very lucky. I am happy to book this hotel. The price of Ctrip is much better than booking. I didn’t have a room right after booking, haha,
The lobby of the hotel is average, but it is very beautiful when you enter it. It is much more beautiful than the photos on the Internet. Like Xanadu, it is very cost-effective. The area of Porto cervo in Sardinia is where the richest people in Italy live. The hotels are very beautiful Expensive, this hotel is worth the money. The hotel also has a private beach. The last two are the yacht piers nearby, which are the most wealthy islands in Italy a
The breakfast is also very rich. There are many delicious restaurants within a ten-minute walk from the hotel. I highly recommend it. I am the first review by Ctrip. Haha.
11.46km from downtownMe and my Friends stayed a week in May in this lovely hotel which is really charming. Clean and comfortable accommodation set in a beautiful well kept garden area. Visitors can enjoy the quiet Italian country-style area which is beautiful. I celebrated my birthday there and I was nicely surprised by the genuinely friendly and attentive hospitality from the Hotel management and staff. I would like to mention Tina and Simona, they are both made our stay really enjoyable and memorable. I can highly recommend this Hotel. Anita
