I don’t know how they do what they do for the price we paid. The building is gorgeous (if you’re booking a twin room ask for the tower room unless you have mobility issues) and having a book with historical pictures in the lobby is a lovely touch. The decor is dated but everything works and is spotlessly clean so really, who cares? No safes in the room but staff are trustworthy (I left around £50 of English money in a bag in the room and it wasn’t touched). Beds were comfy but if you need a dark room take an eye mask. There’s a playground next to the hotel so great for kids! No lift and there are steps up to the front door, so if you’ve got mobility issues check before booking. Staff were very helpful, excellent English at the front desk and enough English from the waitress at breakfast to be able to be understood (she was also patient with our attempts at German!). The breakfasts are AMAZING. They varied day by day but typically included lovely large fresh bread rolls, a plate of cold meats/cheese/fish, a fruit salad, lebkuchen and something hot like an egg. You’re in easy walking distance of the Sudbahnhof (less than 5 mins) to get you into the more touristy parts of the city, or you can also walk for 5-10 mins to a LOT of good restaurants. TIP: book a table in advance, when we went in on spec we were turned away from 5+ restaurants one night. Highly recommend this place, would stay there again.

The first challenge arriving in Germany is their complicated ticketing system for the S-bahn/ U-bahn. For this hotel and many other routes you need to buy a single ticket (if you only intend on one journey) which cost about 4,95 euros. Look at the direction of travel to a main stop (usually a landmark or main district) and choose that. If your stop is along the way to that main stop then that is right. All the small stations are not on the ticket machine. Hotel Cult is just a few minutes walk from 2 metro stations, opposite Lidl supermarket and a 24 hour petrol station. The hotel is modern in style and neatly kept. They are currently renovation an area for an extra facility to accommodate a hotel bar. The check in was smooth and the hotel front desk were always very helpful and friendly. Our room was nice and cosy with a huge TV although there is no variety of foreign channels, nearly all in German. The bed was also two singles together which moved a bit whenever my wife or I went close to the middle and they have two separate duvets. The bathroom was spacious, no free toiletries (which is good but should be available I hope on request) but has a powerful hairdryer, the slide door was loose but my wife fixed it! The room also has a mini fridge/bar and a safe. The room could have been better equipped with a tea/coffee making facilities and better storage for clothes. We were fortunate to get a good view from our window on the top floor. The cleaning staff were thorough and efficient enough. The breakfast was great and had so much variety! There were cereals, a variety of quality bread, 10 different cheeses, preserves, cold meats, sausages, eggs, good hot drinks dispenser and fruit! The kitchen staff were very attentive in cleaning up after guests as it could get quite busy. Defo try this place!

My stop off in Frankfurt was unplanned, I booked my room whilst on the autobahn when I was about a 100 miles south of Frankfurt. I found the hotel to be very reasonably priced and after booking I decided to see what reviews it had, I must say I was a little horrified by some of the comments. We arrived late afternoon and check-in was quick and easy, I found parking nearby as there is none at the hotel. The room was clean and tidy, overlooking the front of the hotel. The room was a little small, that didn't bother me as we went to the room, cleaned up and then went out to explore Frankfurt on foot. It was a very pleasant walk to the old town and when we got back it was straight to bed and my eyes were shut as soon as my head hit the pillow. Had a decent night's sleep, felt refreshed and then went down for breakfast. I am not really a breakfast person but I really enjoyed what was on offer. Overall a fairly decent experience, my first time in Frankfurt and looking forward to visiting again. My stay at Hotel Primus did not break the bank and I would happily stay again for a night or two in future.

We loved staying here. The staff was friendly and helpful. We felt like a welcome part of the community. With a community kitchen, workout space and music recording studio this place has it all. Pet friendly and clean. Quaint and trendy with the freshest food. The rooms were very clean, stocked and comfy. Especially loved the claw foot tub. Wonderful local products. Best morning coffee. Never felt rushed in this relaxing atmosphere in the middle of the city. Walking distance to charming, authentic, local pubs. We can’t wait to stay here again.

At first I thought I was lucky when I got an upgrade then I realised that the shower leaks big time. Left a note on the table - was there for 2 days and the shower has not been fixed. Congrats. Maybe they did not have time to read my message? They did have time to search for my money which was in an envelope - not in a safe...my bad, I know. Somehow I did not expect that they would take out more than 150+ EURs. Not all! Just hoped, and was right that I would not notice until I did my reimbursement (business trip). Dunno exactly how much they stole as I had my private EUR as well there. And well one day I was sitting on the sofa when I heard a ring and without any waiting any pause any opportunity to answer with a yes or no a man appeared in my room. Was I lucky that I had clothes on? Was he lucky? The worst of all that I I contacted the hotel to finally after almost a week make my deposit finally available and that email was answered (and took them an additional 3 days to actually do that) but now already 4 days left and there was no answer to my report on the stolen money or the guy entering into my room uninvited. Be aware! 4 star hotel here or there, people are people. Plus sh... management obviously. Make sure you do not leave any valuable thing in the room or hidden in an envelope!

I have been at The Flag O. in Frankfurt with my family for the past 3 weeks. It is a brand new building with large, bright rooms. It is beautifully decorated. All of the rooms have a well equipped kitchen and good furnitures. Nonetheless, there is no cleaning at all. Once a week comes the room service that only changes the sheets and towels (when they don’t forget to do it, which is quite often). They don’t even bring toilet paper or soap, we have to ask for it, but they keep forgetting every time. The whole room stays very dirty but they don’t do anything about it. That could be ok if you would stay for a few days, but if you are coming for a medium or long stay like us, it would be a problem. Another issue is the wi-fi which seems to be programmed to go out every 5 min, so if you don’t check it every time before using your phone, your are all the time without a connection.

The location is very good, you can go to Ostend metro station by 10 minutes walk and you can go to Zeil by 20 minutes walk. There is an Aldi supermarket (Discounted supermarket) in front of the hotel. There are plenty of electrical scooters and bicycles near hotel. The rooms with the Main river view is perfect, they have a balcony with chairs that you can enjoy your moments. If you want to cook you have the appliance. The staffs are very friendly and there are parking lots that you can park your car. The reception is not 24 hours and after 11 the entrance door of the building is closed and you have to open the door of the building with your key card and things going complicated if your key doesn’t work!! The rooms doesn’t have air condition and in summer the room temperature is too high!! But you can find a little fan in the rooms.

We had a spacious, quiet room towards the inner courtyard. Breakfast was very good, loved the omlettes made to order. Location is close to the river, which is great if you love to go for a walk or run. Downtown is a short walk away, and Alt-Sachsenhausen with its restaurants and nightlife is just across the river. Reception staff was very friendly, they easily accomodated our separate back-to-back bookings of a single and a double room, no room moves required. If you are planning to stay at this hotel, be aware of the "questionable" bathroom architecture ;-) The shower is right in the room, with no possibility for privacy (not sure if there are any rooms that have the shower in a separate bathroom). There is a separate toilet, though. If you are travelling with an electric car, the hotel has a Tesla destination charger in the garage (free charging, paid parking). The garage can be quite narrow though, so if you're not comfortable with that, you may want to park in their outdoor courtyard parking, or on the street.

Know this hotel since many years and stayed there also when it was a Queens hotel. Since it has been sold to the Leonardo hotel group. Indeed they did invest but it really needs more than new carpets in the bedrooms. The bathroom looks tired and needs a total refurb! In the room itself we found a lack of maintenance and housekeeping, walls need painting, broken lightbulb, electricity leads untidy, kebab leftovers from previous guests on the balcony, hairs on the sheets and bathroom floor. Overall disappointing. The worse was the check in......We had the luck to have a trainee with a supervisor training her. Totally understand that training is needed however not like we experienced. Some examples: No eye contact No " willkommen......" No upselling i.e breakfast, bar, etc. Not mentioned that we were part of a training session The young person had no clue how the computer did work, had to help her No mentioning about car park Overall not a great experience .... I know many hotels that have internal training rooms where new associates can train before being "dumped" in front of guests. I felt sorry for her and the supervisor definitively lacked any on the floor training qualities. Our son lives in Sachsenhausen so next time another hotel!

The hotel staff give exceptional service. We were given a complimentary upgrade which was a lovely suprise. They facilitated our every request with a smile and the rooms are out of this world for the price. It’s also next to a lovely supermarket which is great if you get a room with a kitchen in. Beds are huge and wonderfully comfortable and everything was clean, tidy and stylish. Fantastic stay at this hotel, would recommend to anyone.

This inn is the best accommodation i could have stumbled across to book my solo stay. The room was on the small side but given my single room booking it was enough, I also really liked how there was a walk-in robe area. the staff were really nice, especially in the breakfast room, which feels more like a communal breakfast hall (like a B and B) The location was great and I would recommend it to my friends visiting Frankfurt. My only complaint would be the noise from the restaurant/pub downstairs at night... which could just be an unlucky room that I received on that side.

Frankfurt City Centre (Old Town)
This elegant hotel is located next to several shopping malls. The neighborhood is very safe and attractive. The rooms are really comfortable, which was important because we stayed there for 5 nights. The staff were very helpful with our many suitcases, requests for dinner delivery (there's an excellent Lebanese restaurant that the hotel orders from), and taxi cab requests. The breakfast buffet is also good. Frankfurt can be a very tricky place to find a hotel as many hotels are located by the train station, which as a terrible, drug ridden neighborhood. The Jumeirah is far away from this neighborhood. We really enjoyed staying there.

Frankfurt City Centre (Old Town)
Breakfast is very expensive at 28 Euros. The hotel is in a good location. It is less than 10 minutes walk from the commercial street and S-rail train. It is convenient to travel. The hotel has general facilities and is a budget hotel. There is no door in the shower. It is easy to splash outside, the bath water is very good, the bathroom will have the smell of sewers. The deepest feeling is that the room is very dry, the quilt is very thick, and the nose and throat are very uncomfortable at night. In short, the price is not very high.

We had our room in the 16th floor. With a panoramic view over the skyline of Frankfurt. Minibar was inclusive, the dinner in the hotel's own restaurant is too expensive and you don't have such a big choice what to eat. We didn't take breakfast here. Parking is not available from the hotel. You need to park on the street or get to the parking house and pay 40 € each day.

Airport Frankfurt Area
The hotel is near the airport, but the sound insulation is particularly good. No sound was heard during the plane's takeoff and landing. Opposite the hotel is Rewe, very convenient. The room was very clean and tidy. There was no electricity in the room I checked in for the first time. The staff came patiently to check and finally changed the opposite room.

Airport Frankfurt Area
It is still very good, not far from the airport, there is no walking, a direct taxi costs 10 euros one way, and the driver is always very enthusiastic to help with luggage, there are always taxis waiting at the hotel, you can go wherever you go. Compared to other hotels in the surrounding area, the price/performance ratio is very high, the location is quiet, the rooms are clean, and it is very suitable for transit passengers. During the epidemic now, you can take breakfast back to your room, but there are very few options, only croissants, buns, and yogurt, but you can still drink hot coffee, hot tea, and hot milk. I am still very satisfied.

Breakfast for adults 21 euros, children 3 euros, there are many restaurants near the hotel, so did not eat! I bought a sandwich of 2.5 Euros from a nearby restaurant. Breakfast is quite suitable! The bed is too small, only two beds of 1.2 meters wide, saying that it is possible to bring two children under the age of fifteen for free. In fact, they can't sleep at all, and finally they have to sleep in the quilt. Hotel location is good, just a few minutes walk from the Frankfurt Convention and Exhibition Center, seven or eight minutes walk from the nearest Lido supermarket. There is a parking lot, as long as there is a parking space at the door, you can park for free, very convenient!
