This guesthouse is located 20 min walking from the back exit of Bari Centrale station. The surroundings are a little gloomy, so it can be used only as a sleep hub. It is however clean, fairly new and surprisingly quiet, even though it's on the first floor on a street. The orange room may use bedside lamps. In order to read a book, you need to turn on the ceiling light. The kitchen is new and well equipped. Good for a short stay, if you find a good price, go for it.

Stayed for 1 night and was happy with this hotel. We had a car so it suited us to be out of the city with plenty to of parking on site. The hotel is cute and charismatic. Our room was beautiful with huge high ceilings and lovely old furniture. It was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff were lovely. We paid €120 which was ok, we booked last minute. The location out of the city was nice as we found Bari itself a bit hectic and grubby. I would recommend this hotel!

We stayed here for 2 nights and we were not really satisfied about this hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, the reception told us that we were too early for check in and that we should have known this as it's written in the confirmation mail. But that was not the point, we knew we were early, but we were on a road trip in South Italy and wanted to leave the luggage already so we could discover Bari as much as we could. Then the reception told us we needed to come back after a few hours to check-in. While checking- in, the reception didn't inform us about the breakfast nor the facilities such as gym and spa. One positive thing, we requested a balcony, but apparently you need to pay extra for that, but we got it for free. Nevertheless, the service at the breakfast is really bad. Most of the staff didn't look happy/ service-oriented and are poor in English. Instead they were very rude on the last breakfast, as we have asked for a breakfast on the go (we needed to catch an early flight). One of the staff accused us of stealing silverware, as I was looking for disposable cutlery. The way she approached us was really misplaced. We have seen a lot of hotels, B&B's, hostels etc, from low-mid and high end, but we never had such a bad experience as this one. For a business trip this hotel is more appropriated, for couples who are on a romantic get away we would say just find something else. Unless you want to pay a lot for lack of service. To end positive, the location is ok-ish, it's a 20min walk, so its sort of nearby. Furthermore the hotel is clean. The service needs really improvement based on our experience and the facilities are nice to have if you are informed about these. Also the swimming pool is quite nice, very relaxing.

I stayed here for just one night on a short stay in Bari. The hotel is in a great location. It is handy for arriving in the city as it is on the opposite side of a pleasant square from the central station and metro, and also the airport bus stop. The lovely old town is a 10 minute walk away, at the end of the main shopping street. The hotel is located on the 3rd floor of an apartment building, with no obvious signage, so is not easy to find so look for the McDonalds on the ground floor! In the lobby of the building, there is a lift to the 3rd floor and the hotel. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. All very covid-aware, I'm pleased to say. The room was spacious and very clean, and bed comfortable. It had tv, wifi, ac and a balcony. The bathroom was clean and modern. Breakfast was fine and served in the room. Very reasonably priced. If I return to Bari, which would be nice, I would stay here again. Recommended.

The property is located on a reasonably quiet suburban street about 10 minutes walk from the centre of town .We were greeted by Elizabetta , who is a delightful host and speaks very good English . The property has secure off street car parking whi ch has a narrow entrance which is ok for a normal car but not say a large SUV . Our deluxe room was very comfortable and included a wonderful terrace that would happily seat 6 . The bed was very comfortable and the whole property was sparkling clean . Very good shower and we had a jaccuzi bath as well !! Break fast was excellent and for such a small property with maybe only 4 or so rooms offered a very wide choice . Beautifully presented by Elizabetta . It was a wonderful way to start our tour of Puglia .

In the heart of the historic district, this hotel is modest but very comfortable and well priced. It has a certain charm with its simple furnishings. Service is very good and helpful. It is not a luxury hotel, but I found it more than adequate for my three day stay. My room, which faced the front, was large with lots of light from big windows which open. I think it was a Queen-sized bed! The streets are very narrow (some narrower than sidewalks in many cities) – so sound bounces between the buildings. Italians speak loudly, so there is a certain amount of noise from people as well as cars. It’s hard to believe that cars navigate these roads. The hotel is within walking distance, not only throughout the historic district, but a walk along the waterfront and to more contemporary shopping and lots of wonderful restaurants. And visit the street where the women are busy making orcchiette by hand. (Be sure to visit the Puglia Design Centre) But you are away from the crowds. The room was clean and bright with great reading lights. However, the bathroom could use a little more light. I had a large shower and the bathroom was equipped with a bidet. A hair dryer is provided but, strangely, it isn’t compatible with the plug, so was unusable. I had only taken the small two-prong plug and this was the bigger one. There are no chairs in the room except for two very heavy “stools” and a long low table underneath a window. Breakfast is brought to your room at an appointed time, so this is what you sit on to eat. Although included in the room, breakfast is not memorable – Kellogg’s cereal, orange juice, toast…..and hot beverage of your choice. There is no coffee maker in the room, despite another traveller indicating so. But you are close enough to many places to get your morning espresso and a decent pastry. Be sure to go to the roof garden and take in the wonderful view. It’s a wonderful space to rest after a day of touring. The area is a wonderful place to walk. You can easily get lost but you will see lots of tourists walking around using their phones for GPS.

We loved staying at Zodiacus. It's halfway between the train station and the old town, so it's an ideal base when staying in Bari. We would eat dinner at 9 or 10 in old town and then walk back to the hotel... very easy, very pleasant. There are small cafes and bars all around the area... you won't see them on a Sunday afternoon, but the cafes will appear on Monday morning, and the bars on Monday evening. Yet the neighborhood still feels quiet and residential. It's a perfect blend. One evening we arrived back at the hotel around 11pm and Vito was standing outside, waiting for a guest to arrive... the train had been delayed, and he stuck around so he could check them in. That's some impressive service! Would definitely stay here again.

Ideally located just 5 minutes from Bari Central Railway Station and just 10 minutes walk to the old town. Rooms are on the second floor with lift access, although there are a few steps up to the lift. Our room was large, clean, modern and airy with a balcony on to Melo street. This is a small hotel of just 6 bed rooms and a communial room – breakfast room/reception room. We did not book the breakfast that I understand most people take to their rooms which was very basic, but were able to use the communial coffee and tea facilities. Its easy to buy breakfast out or buy supplies in – there is a supermarket 50 meters down the road. Our room was cleaned every other day. Check in and check out was efficient having been confirmed by email in advance. We were met on arrival by our English speaking host who provided information about the hotel and tourist information. This hotel was excellent for our stay.

We stopped here for one night on our way to Matera after arriving at Bari airport. We were worried we may arrive later than the check-in time (due to our flight time), and Clara responded to our emails very quickly when we asked about this. Clara is a wonderful host, very welcoming and helpful, and she suggested nice places for dinner. The rooms are set in a beautiful old summerhouse with tall rooms, and the bedrooms are spacious and well equipped. The breakfast is nice with a great selection of homemade jams, and is served overlooking the garden. There is also a friendly dog, and we were able to park our car in the courtyard as well. My husband managed a quick run down to the rocky seafront in the morning. Being close to the airport was a bonus for us arriving later in the evening. We will certainly return if ever in the area again!

What a wonderful, authentic Italian experience! Sure, you can choose to stay in a posh modern apartment that could be anywhere in the world—or, you can book here and live like a true local in a wild & wonderful historic apartment. Plus, you'll have an incredibly helpful host in Francesco, who went well above & beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. I was delayed a day due to a missed train connection, and Francesco helped switch my reservation to the following night at the last minute, with no penalty. He greeted me and showed me around the space, which felt like walking into an Italian fairy tale. He upgraded me to a massive room with a huge balcony, which was eccentric and colorful and ornate, with tons of personality. The rooms are in an old building up a sweeping flight of marble stairs, and just a short walk from charming Bari Vecchia. I had every amenity at my disposal, including complimentary breakfast at the cafe downstairs (the typical B&B breakfast service was suspended due to Covid regulations). When I left, I hired Francesco (rather than a taxi, and at a much better rate) to drive me to the rental car office where I picked up a car. We had a fantastic chat on the drive over, and instead of simply leaving me at the door, he waited until my rental was sorted out. Then he loaded my luggage into the car and explained some of the operating tips to me, since it was the same make and model that he drives. He even waited to make sure that I got it started OK and was able to maneuver it out f the tight parking space before going on with his day. To me, a host's kindness is one of the most important parts of any stay—and you can't go wrong here!

We stayed for one night having arrived on a night flight from Dublin. We were warmly welcomed by Leo, who insisted on helping with our luggage. The room was very pleasant and had everything we needed, as well as being spotlessly clean. The guest rooms are located on a basement level accessed by an outside staircase and there is a little enclosed terrace outside the rooms. Leo and his wife are charming and they really care that you have a good stay. They recommended an excellent restaurant on the seafront, a simple, 5 minute drive from the property, which was perfect for a late dinner. The house is beautiful and there is a very pleasant breakfast room/lounge with a kitchenette, where a very good breakfast is served. Nothing is too much trouble. I don’t think they speak English (and why should they!); luckily we speak decent Italian so it was not problem but even if we didn’t we would have got by. It is in a perfect location when you arrive at the airport, too late to head off on your travels in Puglia or if you have an early morning flight and need to stay close to the airport the night before.

We stayed in Bari 102 for one night in mid-November 2019. We enjoyed Bari more than expected & wished we had planned for a longer stay at this beautiful B&B. The family running 102 is so genuinely warm & wonderful. Agata & husband Nicola’ speak some English, but their son Marco is fluent (as too is their daughter, who was not in Bari when we were there). The B&B is situated perfectly: a pleasant 5-minute walk north from the central train station, & then from the B&B another pleasant 5-minute walk north to the southern edge of the Old Town. The FAL station where you catch the train to Matera is on the same piazza as Bari Centrale. Our room & bathroom were large, modern, bright, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated & super comfortable. We even had a small balcony overlooking Via Andrea da Bari (the quiet street below). Breakfast at 102 was a spectacular assortment of meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, juice, pastries, …everything was perfect, including the coffee. Agata recommended a few places for dinner (we chose Tiella - - a 5 minute walk east - - which we loved). At 102, we felt like we were paying a visit to close friends or family. Although we were in Bari for just 27 hours, our visit was very memorable (a stroll along the Lungomare, Basillica San Niccola’, Bari Castle, Piazza Mercantile, …) and we can’t wait to return for a longer stay, using Bari as a base for the region. We generally prefer hotels to B&B’s, but 102 is a gem & we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else when we return. Grazie mille Agata, Nico e Marco. Speriamo di vedervi presto!

Breakfast does not include a large buffet but the necessary thing to start the day: hot or cold drink (the worst thing is that the juices are not natural), yoghourts, some fruit, some sausages, bread, crepes, magnificent croissants and something of hot. The location is very good, very close to the subway station and train station, the hotel is clean, the breakfast is good, the bread is delicious. However, the air-conditioned room we stayed in was bad. It was not cold at all. The 30-degree heaven, the heat was flying. I just checked in at 1 o'clock and reacted to the front desk. He said that he would ask people to do it. We went out with confidence. In the afternoon, we changed back to the front desk and said that the whole floor was broken. I said that my mother’s house was fine. He had to say that he couldn’t fix it, and he would not change the house. Finally, I was told for a long time that I only promised to ask me to go to breakfast tomorrow morning, maybe I can change the room, not necessarily. The next day, I went to the morning to push me. I didn't promise to change it. I came back later and changed it for me, so I didn't give it to the worst. I still gave it a little face. If you want to live, be afraid of hot attention. Let's just say that many of their houses are not air-conditioned.

The location is very good, opposite the egg castle and the sea, the breakfast is completely sea view, blowing the sea breeze, feeling great! The breakfast was quite rich, and the cup of Italian condensed was a bit amazing, and I never liked to drink coffee. Although Napoli's construction of the whole city is quite old, it feels good. Because I went to Capri Island to return to the ticket time, I missed the hotel that was temporarily set back to the Rome train. The friend recommended it, said the global chain, because the ship arrived at the shore near ten o'clock at night, so there is no sea view room. The only bad episode was to take a taxi to the hotel at night. The driver received 20 Euros and 10 Euros. If the hotel was in the daytime, the hotel would only be 15 Euros. The German husband of the friend said that it was a tip at night. explained. 🙄
