Very nice little hotel for our stopover on route to Spain.Pet friendly, which was necessary for our little dog travelling with us. Room, facilities, parking and breakfast were all very good value for money, with efficient check-in and check-out. Special thanks to Melissa for finding us a ground floor (Level 0) room, which made things easier and for guiding our dog back to our room when he slipped out the door. Bar and breakfast service was also good with help from friendly staff.

Booked via booking.com and was largely impressed with the reviews. The hotel is well located and has free parking. It is next to the river and just a five minute walk to the town centre. Note that reception closes at 8pm and you will need to email the hotel if you intend to arrive after this time. Similarly, once a guest, you can enter the hotel with a code after reception closes. The room was minuscule and was classed as a twin however both beds were next to each other. There is virtually no storage whatsoever other than two small shelves which are hidden by a curtain. There is an external door going out to a corridor however it is not a balcony as you can simply walk the entire length of the building. The tiny bathroom was modern with a good shower however the size of the room was a disappointment. The hotel is satisfactory for one night. Any more would be an issue. I can not recommend the hotel however due to the tiny rooms and the lack of night reception. The hotel is also poor value for money at €75 per night which does not include breakfast.

We have previously stayed in Niort in a simple roadside motel type chain just for convenience but finding La Chamoiserie on trip advisor proved that Niort can offer so much more than a bed near the motorway! The owners and staff of this boutique hotel were helpful and charming and made us feel very welcome. A big thank you to Luca ( reception ) for taking the time and trouble to give us personal advice on our next stay in Valencia! We had the wonderful Orangerie room which is a separate small building delightfully located at the end of the garden. It had all the space and comfort you could need with the added advantage of being completely private and with its own patio in the garden. We were given an excellent recommendation for a local restaurant which the owners did book for us and the breakfast that we had in the hotel the next morning was delicious. We were also very happy that we could have private secure car parking at this hotel for our large SUV which was completely loaded up for our journey. I cannot think of a single change I would make to this hotel and thought it was great value for money. We will be back!

Clean, comfortable, quiet but a very small room, shower room and toilet. Bed was lovely and comfortable and the linen was good. Tea and coffee facilities were welcome but not particularly well stocked. For my purposes of an overnight stop the only criticism I have is the toilet, which was so high up to had to hoist yourself onto it and your legs were then dangling in mid air! Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Cannot comment on breakfast as I left very early. I would have no problem in staying here again for an overnight stay but if staying longer I would try and look for a larger room.

This hotel is not intended to be top of the range. But for the price, it is excellent. It is VERY clean, the rooms are comfortable (not huge - just enough room to squeeze around the bed to get in at the far side) and the bathroom is fine. The aircon worked very well on an extremely hot day/night. Breakfast was given out individually in takeaway bags, due to the Covid19 situation, so although there was a wait of up to 5 minutes for this service, it was handled well and was the best they could achieve at the time. The lift to all floors worked well and the entrance area was clean and tidy. The reception desk staff were absolutely brilliant - they even took our small 'freezer blocks' and re-froze them overnight so that our cool bag could stay cool during the next day's trip. Parking is plentiful. For the price and category, this is a very good hotel.

So on holiday sometimes things don’t go to plan . So when we ( family of four ) had to leave an absolute dump of a Gite we needed to find a family friendly hotel with access to the areas we wanted to visit . “The Originals” brand of hotel is a first for me but it turns out to have very high standards. We actually looked at two that where within an hour of La Rochelle one was lovely but a bit remote for the kids and then we turned up at La Grange (45 min to La Rochelle ) . Now it’s a funny place on the edge of the town of Niort and also sits on the edge of a small commercial estate - DO NOT be put off by this as it’s a really great thing- more on that in a minute. We arrived and met the owner and discovered this hotel is family run by him and his wife . I asked if he could show me a room which he did and also showed me the pool area and small spa with sauna . My teenage daughter just said it felt good ... the lighting is very cool the rooms simple but with nice big beds and well equipped en-suite bathrooms. Hi speed broadband and large parking area . The owner explained he had a family room for 4 of the 5 nights we needed and then he would need to move us to a couple of double rooms for our final night but could do the same price for us for all the nights. He explained that they only serve breakfast and do not have a restaurant. This is not a problem at all because the very pretty town of Niort is 12 minutes away and is full of cool restaurants and bars . Happy with this we took the room and it was perfect . The owner and his wife and staff work really hard to keep their hotel in the best order - yes they do have swimming pool rules and that is a good thing. This is Hotel used by many business people and those stopping for maybe one night on route to the south. It is not strictly a “Holiday” resort and should not be treated as such but my kids were very happy in the pool and could use the Jacuzzi with an adult present. We sat in the evenings and watched the Gliders take off from the near by air strip and the owner runs a small cocktail bar - it’s great. The family rooms are plenty big enough with a separate kids area and bigger Bathroom - all air conditioned . The owners and staff speak good English and can tell you the hot spots to eat out. Then there is the commercial centre. This is right next to the hotel. So it is not an industrial estate but actually a set of massive stores . Decathlon and inter sport and massive super markets . These we spent a day just looking around and buying some goodies my kids loved it. There is a Bakery called Boulangerie-Ange they make fresh bread sandwiches and pizza eat in or take away . Have dinner in the Hippopotamus restaurant ... awesome food and service see my review on it . All in all we were made very very welcome and it saved our holiday so this is a massive personal thank you to our hosts at La Grange I highly recommend it for a stop over or for a bit longer. Explore Niort is a very nice town . Pi

We stayed for one night on the 19th April and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Our room, No 4 was a nicely presented modern and comfortable room with clean bedding and towels. There was a TV (no English channels) and facilities for making tea or coffee. The bathroom was large with an open wet room style shower, the slight down side to this is that the tiled floor became very slippery and there was no anti slip mat supplied. One other down side was the fact that the free WIFI was only centred on the reception area so did not make it to our room. Not a lot of use if your are trying to do work in the evening. Continental breakfast buffet was good with a very varied and plentiful choice of food. Would we use this hotel again? Yes we would.

Good quiet hotel with nice grounds and five minute walk to town. Staff at reception and bar are very friendly but watch out, bar closes early on Sunday nights. The rooms are large with nice bathrooms. One bad point is that their towels are small and pretty thin. Not their fault but there are some unsavoury characters with dogs around the town which is a shame as it is one of the nicest towns we have visited. We had our dog with us so it is not that we are against dogs - it is just the unfriendly ones we do not like!!! However, we would return there if we found ourselves in that area again because of the nice hotel and free parking which in most Mercure Hotels these days you have to pay.

This was the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel, the first time was by accident as our car had broken down on the motorway and the AA booked us in here. The staff could not be more friendly and accommodating, we were traveling with dogs and this was not a problem for them, there is a secure enclosed garden at the rear which was ideal for the dogs and the parking was secure and next door. Some of the rooms are tired but they are being refurbished, our last stay was 5 days ago and we had a lovely room. There is a good variety of food for breakfast which is always fresh and appetizing There are fabulous restaurants close by our favorite is Sorrento”s across the road. A special mention for Agnes who always remembers us and the dogs for whom nothing is too much trouble. A good central place to stop en route for a night or two.

The hotel is located in the heart of Lyon, just a 5 minute walk from the central square and shopping streets. There are a variety of specialty shops in the shopping street, big-name luxury jewelry and ZARA, HM, etc., although not comparable to the Paris store, the goods are all, but the basic models are available to meet the basic shopping needs. The most acclaimed hotel is the breakfast, on the top floor of the hotel, with a view of the Rhone River through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The breakfast is extremely rich, because it is the holiday season, breakfast is delayed until 11 o'clock, you can rest assured that you can take a nap and slowly enjoy a fine brunch.

Italy was passing by the stop city back to Paris. It did n’t have much hope. The comments at night were good and bad, as long as they could live, but it was really good! Clean and spacious, booked a room with a living room, booking information is for three people, the sofa bed in the living room was opened and paved at the time of check-in, the balcony is also a large balcony connecting the living room to the bedroom, it is nice to have a kitchenette, walking near the hotel There is a slightly bigger Carrefour in 5 minutes. In the morning, my husband and the child did n’t get up to buy some juice, milk, bread, salad, etc. After all, it ’s not cheap to eat outside. It was learned that Lyon’s old town was very difficult to park, and it was specifically designed as a landmark hotel in the new city. This hotel can be seen from afar, but it is not easy to find the hotel entrance and parking lot by car. Because the nearby road is under construction, it took three laps to find the hotel's small entrance. The parking lot is large, 25 euros a day. The hotel lobby is on the 32nd floor and the room is above the 33rd floor. The view is good and has its own characteristics. The room is small, it is fan-shaped, and two adults with a child sleep very crowded. The sanitation is very good, quiet, carpeted, not ventilated, the shower floor is a bit slippery, there is no place to dry clothes. The hotel has a restaurant, dinner is good, service is good. There is no bustling old town nearby, and there is a large public car park next to the food city not far from the hotel.

We were looking for a good hotel which would serve as our stopover as we were driving to the South of France. We booked a night stay in this beautiful InterContinental Hotel. We arrived around noon and by accident drove directly to the hotel's garage. It was unclear if there was valet or if we could self park our car. As we did not get in to the garage, we were stuck there as the bell in the garage was rather complicated. We phoned the front desk and quickly someone helped park our car. The bellboy took our luggage and escorted us to the reception. We were quickly checked in and received a very nice upgrade to one of the beautiful Executive Duplex rooms with views over the river. The hotel itself is huge and is simply beautiful. There are many restaurants and shops in the premises and is located in the heart of Lyon, everything can be done by foot. Our room was very large and had a cosy seating area on the top level. Downstairs, there was a very comfortable bed and the bathroom with large walk in shower. The window in the room was floor to ceiling but probably hard to clean as there were some cobwebs on it. Staff were very helpful with a city map and recommending sights and restaurants nearby. Within walking distance, there are many good places to eat and shopping streets are very closeby.

The location of the hotel is really good. Downstairs is Sephora opposite Paris Spring, and then White Apple Square, but the hotel rooms are really too small, and then there is no bathtub. The hotel I booked was very expensive because at the time It ’s the Lyon Festival of Lights, so it ’s very expensive. It ’s usually not that expensive. If you judge this hotel by its value, it ’s not worth it. I think its value should be around 1,000 yuan. Simple is rude, because breakfast is not so good, but there are few juices that are not freshly squeezed for tea, and you have to make your own tea in bags. The hotel does not have any service at the front desk to check in, and it is not very fast, but it is generally okay. It is not worth 1,000 yuan or more for 1,000 yuan, thank you!

This is a five-star hotel in a classic style, converted from an old building. Definitely not the kind of hotel used in China. In the center of the old town of Lyon, there are various stores on the doorstep, and a stylish chocolate shop diagonally opposite, and the famous Rose Tower attractions across the alley next to the hotel. The interior decoration of the hotel is also old-fashioned, the door is opened with a key and no card is needed. The room was beautiful and welcoming, the toilet and shower room were separated. There is also a spa on the top floor. We went to live in Lyon on the day of the annual Lyon Festival of Lights, and on the weekend, the room price doubled several times than usual. It's easy to miss without paying attention. If the usual price to live is definitely possible. Holidays are definitely expensive. It is very convenient to visit and live in the old town.
