The hostel was perfect for our visit to the capital. After a somewhat slightly off-putting start (the person at the bar asked us to wait / ignored us so that he could finish his inventory, then told us to go to the cash dispenser and pay the three nights upfront as his card reader was broken), the rest of the stay was good, and the other members of staff were very friendly and professional. We had booked a private double room. It is located on the fifth floor (no lift). The room comprises of a double bed, a low table with two stools, and a shower room. There are coat hooks by the entrance (we had brought coat hangers) and two bins. The windows are double glazed, although the one in the bathroom does not close properly. There are thick curtains in the bedroom which keep the light out when needed. As it's a busy street, the noise from the street below is noticeable, and because the hostel is close to the fire station, there are often some sirens. We can also hear when the other guests open their doors, which are very creaky. So to be fair, our sleep has been disturbed a few times, but it comes with being in Paris - the same happened to me in the past when I stayed at some friends' places. The room came with two towels (one medium, one large) and two small bottles of shower gel. There was also a large toilet roll. The two bins have been emptied daily. There are enough power plugs to charge our devices, and free wi-fi. The floor felt somewhat sticky (we had brought flip flops), but the bed and bathroom were clean (the shower room is rather dated but the bed is comfortable). People had complained about the bleach smell in previous reviews so.i.had brought a scented candle just in case, but it wasn't needed. The bedroom door opens with a card, which needs to be reactivated each time you come in, as the metro can interfere with it. The staff happily does it in a few seconds, as they welcome you in each time. The hostel also has a kitchen if you want to cook, but we haven't tried it. The bar on the ground floor seems to have a good selection of drinks. The area is really nice, with the Metro station one minute walk away, lovely cafes and bars nearby, picturesque canal Saint Martin, and we also found a small street market on Sunday morning not too far away. It is easy to walk to and from the centre of town from the hostel. We felt safe in the streets, there are schools and families living in the neighborhood. All in all, it was the cheapest accomodation we found in Paris at the time, and we felt perfectly safe and at home, in a great location. We would happily go back!

My friends and I shared a quaint three bed room. We were running late due to delays on our train but reception were quick to answer our calls and concerns and even greeted us with a hot chocolate on arrival. The stay was comfortable and very accommodating. The only slight issue we encountered was the fact that the plug wouldn’t empty in the shower but this was easily sorted by the staff. Overall we had a wonderful stay and it was so nice to jump on the metro outside of the hotel to go explore the rest of the city! Would 100% come back for a short weekend again!

Apparently stayed in a superior room, but it was no place for toiletries in the bathroom or room for two people to pass each other or store luggage. Our room smelled strongly of smoke when we arrived, and when mentioning this at reception we were told that not everybody respected the no smoking signs... Had to move the nightstand to fit my suitcase next to the bed, and the telltale signs of no cleaning behind there, were obvious. The smallest elevator ever from 1st floor, hardly room for one person + suitcase. Had to get the suitcases to the first floor ourselves. A lot of noise from the street, and very thin walls. We opted out of lunch, there were lovely restaurants around who served super breakfast. The guy at reception did not even ask if we had had a nice stay or say goodbye when we left.

The hotel is in a really nice position very close to the metro station of Jaurès that can get you basically everywhere. The place was clean and there is the chance to leave there your luggage if you come to early for check in or if you need to leave it after check out. That earns the 2 stars in my review. Unfortunately this was probably my worst experience in a hotel. Checking in I was told that we got an upgrade and, instead of our view on the city we got what is supposedly a better room facing an internal wall. I must say that I am not sure if that was really an upgrade because it didn't feel like it - and this makes me wonder what would have been a regular room. Rooms are poorly insulated and I could hear perfectly what was going on in the rooms next to our. The cleaning was good, but unfortunately the cleaning lady forgot to close our door and, when we came back to the hotel in the late afternoon, we found the door open. The only answer we got when we reported the issue was ”oh, that's not good” - indeed it isn't. Growing up in a similar business I have been taught to do what it take to make happy your guests and I found odd that I couldn't get a couple of spoons when I asked for them (”breakfast is closed now so we don't have spoons”). All in all, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The price doesn't match the service.

交通便利:在10区;楼下就有地铁站,走10分钟就到巴黎北站和东站; 房间可以看街景,很干净; 员工都很友善 I had such a lovely time at this hotel. It is opposite to well located Metro Station and walking distance to international train station. The front desk staff were amazing! They were very cordial, professional and friendly. I was able to check in and check out both very quickly. The room was quite spacious and was clean. I had a room facing the street but it was very quiet so I had no trouble sleeping. The bathroom had toiletries . The only thing is that wifi is free but not very good.

We booked a stay at the Bloom House Hotel & Spa for 4 nights from 31 August 2023, we paid the full amount at the time of booking on a non-refundable basis for a balcony room. One of the key reasons for selecting Bloom House was that it was a brand-new hotel, we could have a top floor balcony room with city views, and the hotel had quality spa and restaurant facilities on site. A few weeks before our stay, we were contacted by Bloom House by phone to advise that our booking was being cancelled as they were delaying the opening of the hotel. They offered us a room in one of their sister hotels, Hôtel Parister, which they tried to insist was an upgrade, as Hôtel Parister is a 5* hotel and Bloom House is a 4* hotel. They put pressure on us to agree to the swap over the phone, without seeing pictures of the hotel. We resisted this and asked them to email us with details of the alternative hotel and the room. We were offered one of the most basic rooms at Hôtel Parister, with no balcony. At such short notice, and at such a popular time of the year in Paris, alternative options were very limited and we had little choice but to accept a transfer to Hôtel Parister, even though it is not a hotel we would have ever chosen ourselves. We explained that we were dissatisfied with the offer, and that, from our perspective, any room without an equivalent balcony / terrace would be downgrade, irrespective of the purported 5* status of Hôtel Parister. After several emails back and forth, they finally agreed to put us in a balcony room in Hôtel Parister. We were very disappointed in this whole interaction and feel that, given that Bloom House cancelled our booking at short notice, and after we have paid in full on a non-refundable basis, we should have been offered a significant upgrade at one of Bloom House's sister hotels. We were extremely disappointed with Hôtel Parister, it was not a hotel of 5* quality and was not an appropriate / equivalent swap for our booking at Bloom House. The room we were given at Hôtel Parister was dark, dingy and extremely small, so small in fact that there was nowhere big enough for us to store our cabin sized travel bags, with very dated décor, a far cry from the brand new light and airy rooms at Bloom House, and extremely basic amenities. The room we offered had a terrace, but it was dark and dirty. The terrace was overlooked / towered over by buildings on every side, and had dead plants with fallen leaves all over it (it clearly had not been cleaned for some time). As such, we did not use the terrace, and it was not comparable to the top floor balcony with city views we had booked at Bloom House. Cleanliness in the room was also not up to scratch, the coffee machine was dirty and clearly not cleaned regularly or thoroughly. The dining / room service menu for Hôtel Parister was uninspired, and had very limited vegetarian, vegan and plant-based options, extremely disappointing for a purported 5* hotel in 2023 serving international

I stayed in this hotel with my 6 year old daughter from the 24th of July til the 28th of July and I must say I did not have the best experience there. Firstly in my booking that I made with booking.com it said that the price included breakfast so I was shocked to hear that I had to pay for my daughter 4 days of breakfast on top. It said clearly breakfast was included.. If I book a room for both of us and the breakfast is included surely it is for both of us?? I sent several messages to get a refund but they never reply and before my trip I sent them emails about my trip but never got any replies. Also I found the staff extremely rude and unhelpful when I was asking for things when I was there, especially a black tall guy who was just rolling his eyes and staring even when I asked for an iron like it was a problem. When I asked for directions instead of actually explaining things to me I was just given a map, maybe as the English was not very good but I think hotel staff should speak sufficient English. Breakfast was good selection but once again the staff there hardly smiled always seemed rushed and pushing through the queues putting down their croissants, very rude. I been working 22 years as cabin crew so I know what good customer service is like. Also they put a transaction hold of £70 on my debit card that has not been refunded. Lastly I should have checked the location better but coming back late at night is not very safe at all, especially with a young daughter. Lots of dodgy people around.

Avoid this place. The entrance is like a prison. With security gates. If you’re a smoker, you have to keep moving out the way of other guests coming and going, because the walkway is so narrow. And the outdoor ashtray was always full. The area is awful. Which is probably why they have to buzz you in at night. The housekeeping is poor. I found hairs all over the bathroom, dust in the extractor and all over the room. Burns in the carpet. The mattress protector was 6 inches down from the top of the bed. No safe, refrigerator or kettle in the room. Bedroom door difficult to shut properly. Breakfast wasn’t great. First day, the only cooked food was some very unappealing sausages and boiled eggs. Doesn’t deserve its 3 stars and not worth more than £50 per night. I paid more than twice that. There isn’t even anywhere sensible for a taxi to drop you off or pick you up. Pay no attention to the happy looking pictures. This place is a miserable dump.

At that time, I participated in the Paris Air Show and stayed in the hotel for eight consecutive days. The hotel has a basement, but the entrance is far away, and the procedures for picking up the card and entering the warehouse are more complicated. It is recommended that friends who are good at foreign languages communicate clearly first.

I want to make a comment about a hotel we stayed at recently. First of all, for once I didn't book on the Accor website! big mistake. When we arrived there was a paper stuck on the door saying ”hotel full”. But as there were free rooms on the site, I allowed myself to knock very hard on the glass door and the guard ended up opening. This man was far from friendly. And when I told him that I hadn't made my reservation online, he replied ”fortunately, because if I hadn't wanted to take you, I would have been very annoyed” (well, almost that word). In short. I reserve the room and 2 breakfasts and finally he says to me ”ah well, there's a mistake, I only put one. It doesn't matter, you'll ask for one more tomorrow morning”. Ok. And in the morning I was glad that only one breakfast was counted. It was the berezina! Almost nothing to eat, not even a tea bag! I had to go get some in the car for my husband. I ate what I had brought in my cooler...and frankly it was better than what was available! The young man at the reception was very embarrassed not to satisfy us, ok but hey the presentation and the diversity of the products was not there anyway! It's the first time we've had this kind of problem in a Formula 1 car. But really, we were very disappointed. I think something needs to be done to fix this. We almost always book directly on the Accor website. We do not go through resellers like booking or other. But that doesn't change the quality. Frankly, it was mediocre. In addition, I would like to point out an event that took place in my presence (and joins some comments): the evening receptionist (the elderly man I dealt with and who pretended not to know how to use the 'computer) made a young man pay when it was already paid by his company, this gentleman told him. But since he didn't speak French very well, he didn't dare insist. So he paid, there the manager says to him ah damn it was already paid, and says to him ”normally you will be reimbursed but there... I very much doubt it!” How ? since on the invoice there was not written that the gentleman paid twice!

I will start with the positives. The rooms are a good size and the shower is nice. However, the hotel over all is tatty and tiered and in need of a revamp, there is a strange smell in the corridors and everything on front desk is over priced. To top off a very average stay the cleaner binned a bag belonging to my son (6 years old) with a photo from PSG stadium tour in with 2 football players who he is besotted with when I reported this to reception desk the guy was extremely rude, dismissive and did nothing at all to help in any way. There are lots more hotels in and around Paris and I would not recommend this one the surrounding areas are very basic, there is little in terms of places to eat. This hotel would serve a purpose for conciencien e for one night if you were visiting stade de France.

Booked the hotel because of its proximity to Stade de France (my 12-years old son & I were lucky to attend the Champions League final). You cannot find a better stay if you want to avoid the unbelievable chaos outside the stadium after a football match (or any highly attended event) ends. Hotel staff is really friendly. Front desk manager had hands-on on everything. The hotel general director was always present with a warm and welcoming attitude, making sure that there won’t be any problem whatsoever and everybody is happy. A BIG thank-you.
