|8.98km from city centerI find it very difficult to review a Hotel that purports to be for people going there to enjoy a holiday. Tranquility for adults to enjoy and rest next to the sea- Relax and disconnect are both prominently shown on its website! Regrettably this did not happen during our eleven day stay. For my part this is nothing other than a ‘Business Hotel’ For example many guests attended for a few days to attend organised business meetings. Others were there taking part in golf tournaments. In addition it was noticed a number of large groups were staying at the hotel for perhaps one or two days. More infuriating was the fact many people found it in order to have many long and loud business meetings on their phones as they lounged on sun beds alongside the pool which made it totally impossible to relax and disconnect in any way. This establishment is not one of Iberostars leading hotel. It is in fact in the lowest grade of the company’s structure.Interestingly IHG and Iberostar recently set up a strategic alliance BUT this hotel is not part of that alliance! The hotel had no soul with nothing whatsoever being memorable. Daily organised events should have taken place but absolutely nothing happened whatsoever!! Another very big disappointment related to the dress code. The website clearly states gentlemen must wear trousers for evening meals but this was completely ignored. Some individuals took no notice with a number wearing torn jeans that would have been a credit for anyone working on a building site. The ladies? Oh dear oh dear! Many wore skimpy shorts and tops that left a lot for anyone’s imagination. None of the guests were asked by staff to comply with the company’s dress code. What a shame for the minority who had gone to the trouble to dress appropriately. The hotel is not situated in an ideal place for sun worshippers. The very small pool with numerous sun beds crammed around it is dwarfed on one side by the nine storey Marina Playa Hotel and the other side by the equally tall Iberostar. Moving sun beds became a regular feature during the day to keep out of the shade. Nearby beach? Well it’s not too far away but accessible by a walk over an uneven surface which makes it very unfriendly for those experiencing walking difficulties. The pool Bar—— what another very big disappointment. It may supply certain drinks but any food consists of nothing other than crisps,biscuits and cakes. No hot food whatsoever! Unfortunately there was no atmosphere at this hotel. It had very little if anything going for it. Would I recommend it to anyone? Absolutely NO

|0.21km from city centerWe went for a friend's 50th, seven women last week of September. Weather was perfect. Rooms are very nice. Swimming pool is small and we could not get sunbeds, so we went to the beach daily, watercis clear, just few minutes up the walk way, sunbed and parasol for about £8-9 per day. Lots of restaurants, shops nearby. Across is where you can go on a boat ride. Restaurant opposite the hotel tucked away facing the sea is amazing. Loaded chips and sangria were best ever. Food at the hotel is great, all options available. Staff are very nice. Big thank you to Ivan, who was extremely nice and so were all the other staff. I emailed Ivan a head of going and he was very accommodating. Daily evening entertainment in the hotel and some days outside to the left of the hotel too. At this time of the year there were mature adults, didn't see any clubs. Walking and cycling paths all by the sea, flat land, not hilly. Shared coach transfers were long, from landing to hotel was 2hrs, we were last to be dropped off. Going back was 1 hour. If you want to relax and enjoy, this is the place.

|0.82km from city centerReal wow factor of the room with marina view and a huge balcony. 5 star accommodation and service. You can actually watch the yachts docking in, all day long. Peaceful harbour with no waves but lots of amazing vistas. Sports facilities and pool and lifts and library and restaurant with 24/7 reception. Next door to the most of amenities. Top attractions like Caves of Drach and parks are 2 minutes walk. Small community that is a real gem. Unspoilt Mallorca at it's best. Loved the experience. Must come back. Place is really busy after April, but we loved the tranquility of March.

|0.1km from city centerMy 5th time here and another 5 star stay. The staff are wonderful. Cristina on reception is great got a lovely welcome on arrival and the 2 new reception team are just as good. Unfortunately I had to raise a complaint about noisy neighbours this was dealt with efficiently. The bar staff: amazing. Francesca remembered my drink of choice from day 1 and the other staff on the bar, sorry I cannot remember your names, were just as good including the 2 new lads. The 4th floor housekeeping lady was great always took the time to say good morning with a smile. The room was super clean, given a spruce everyday except Sunday when the hard working housekeeper got a day off. This was the first time I’d been on the front of the hotel and was a little concerned it would be noisy, but no I slept like a log possibly helped by a few bacardi and cokes (the measures in the hotel bar are great) had a lovely big balcony with great views. The pool is great with plenty of sun loungers and again spotlessly clean. Food: breakfast each day was amazing with lots of choice and HP sauce. Good quality juices and great coffee to cure the hangover. The evening meals were good with a varied menu including Sunday roast and Spanish dishes. Entertainment every night and was varied and good standard. Plenty of sports on what seems like a million tv’s in the bar, so even when you go to get your next drink you don’t miss the action. There were couples and solo travellers staying and those I got talking to were lovely. The hotel is such a happy place and I could not think of staying anywhere else in Cala Bona. I hope this hotel stays family run for years to come. I can’t wait to get back there next year. Team Sur, thank you for another amazing holiday.

|0.35km from city centerWe really enjoyed our holiday in Porto Cristo staying at the Hotel Felip for 11 nights on a half board basis. We had a sea view room in the main building which we would definitely recommend. Everything we needed was so near. We had boat , and bus trips to other places along the coast and the taxi rank was close ,as were the useful small supermarkets.The view from our room was beautiful with the beach and the Marina. We enjoyed all that Porto Cristo had to offer and it is a little gem of a place in Majorca. The staff were excellent and we particularly want to mention Sara on reception who was pleasant, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and Silvana who made us delicious coffee each breakfast time . We really enjoyed our meals ,although we did feel that the guests would appreciate being able to read the main courses described ,on a notice board before entering the buffet dining area as so many of us were having to peer very closely at the little cards placed in front of the food. It would be more hygienic and save time when queuing and then wondering what to choose. The other thing that surprised us was that on arrival at the hotel there isn’t any kind of ramp to help guests arriving with suitcases that had to be carried up several steps. We also observed members of staff having to carry a snack bar up and down the steps each day to reach the pedestrianised area outside the hotel . We appreciate that if we asked then we would have been given assistance ,but surely these days accessibility for all including guests requiring a wheelchair should be provided. Our overall visit and stay at the Hotel Felip was generally delightful. OK the Wifi could be improved but the sun shone each day for us and we really enjoyed our time in Porto Cristo staying at the Hotel Felip and we have many happy memories. It would be our hotel of choice for a future visit.

|1.64km from city centerJust had another delightful stay at this hotel. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome. The staff are friendly and professional and nothing is too much trouble for them. The Senior Suite has the most fantastic balcony that stretches around three sides of the top floor with sunbeds, settees and table and chairs. The champgane and strawberries welcoming us were great. The maids do an exceptional cleaning job each day and turn the sheets back every evening leaving chocolates ! The waiting staff in the restaurant are very efficient and friendly. The pool is lovely and never crowded - there is no need to reserve sunbeds at this hotel and they are all placed a long way aprt across the grounds. The gym is well equipped and there is a spa and hairdressers available too. Overall a fantastic hotel.

|10.89km from city centerHotel - It is supposed to be a 4 star, but its more a 2/3. Its clean but literally everything is broken everywhere you go. It needs a lot of maintenance & upkeep. Location - Location is Great. A 5/10 mins walk to the Marina where all the restaurants and cafes are. There is about 7 restaurants along the marina, very nice food. Then walk around the corner another 5 mins and you are at the shops/beach & Cafes. Porto Cristo is a quiet place, so if you want to relax and chill it is perfect for you. (but different hotel unless it has a complete makeover) If you want to party I would suggest somewhere else as there is no clubs and the restaurants close around 11pm Rooms - Aircon was horrendous! It worked for 3 days, then it stopped working throughout the hotel. Ana (who is very nice) said it was due to a storm, which is rubbish because most of the reviews are about how bad the aircon is. They said it would be fixed after 48 hours. That was a lie. It broke for the remainder of our trip Reception were lovely and give us a fan and it was not there fault, but still, it was 29 degrees and 90% humidity. We know its not July/Aug time, but still 29 degrees is very hot for us brits! We stayed in a superior mountain view room. It was tiny! I would not like to think how small the standard rooms are. Pool - The pool was a good size, ladders were broken and felt like it was going to snap. The pool water is very salty like sea water, and the Majorty of beds are on sand, so it feels like you are at the beach and not around the pool. For me personally I hate wet sand sticking to you and there was nowhere to wash your feet/legs. The outside shower was quite far away and it was broken. Restaurant - We only had B&B. The breakfast is nice, quite repetitive but a lot of choice. If you wanted to dine for tea it was €20pp per night. Staff - The Staff were the best part of the hotel. They were very friendly and polite. But big shout out to Johan (who looked liked a young Will Smith ladies)- he was lovely & very friendly! he made our stay more relaxed and enjoyable Would I return? - Not likely, unless they had a total makeover and made it a 4 star as its listed The maintenance looked looked like it has been done by a dodgy handyman ( Broken tiles, broken sockets in rooms, and needed a lot decorating!

|0.2km from city centerThe hotel is located in a side street parallel to the main street. The sea is also a few minutes walk and the shops and restaurants are well accessible. Unfortunately, the hotel has no own parking and therefore you need to look for a parking place on the street. But in October it was not a problem. The hotel is a small but fine house with 4 floors and spacious rooms. The rooms are equipped with everything you need and even a small refrigerator. Our room was on 4 floors and had a large balcony with chairs, table and even two beds. There is a chair and even accessible rooms. There is also a small pool and a beautiful, planted with trees, indoor courtyard offering a lot of shadows. We had booked with half-pension and thus dinner from buffet evening. The food was varied, freshly prepared and offered a good choice. The service was very good and friendly. The cleanliness in the whole house and the atmosphere are top. We felt very well here and will come back next year. The price has surprised us very much. For this location and what you offer gets a real sneak. We say thank you.

|1.19km from city centerAmazing hotel. We had a room with a balcony sea view, it was immaculately clean, modern, comfortable and spacious. The location is perfect with the beach right on the door step and a bustling palm tree lined street with several shops, bars and cafes a short walk away and a children’s play park. We have a 6 year old child and there was plenty on offer in the hotel for her to do. With an indoor and outdoor pool and bar and entertainment every night we were always doing something. They have a spa in the hotel and I had a massage which was very relaxing. We had a lovely chambermaid who made sure we had every thing we needed in our room. The restaurant was fabulous and the food was amazing, the waiting staff were equally fantastic and attentive. The selection of food was phenomenal, something for everyone’s palette. Every single member of staff I encountered were friendly and very helpful. Beatriz, one of the wonderful hotel receptionists was an absolute star, she helped us navigate our days out and went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed. I will definitely go back to this hotel again, one of the best holidays I’ve ever had.

|1.74km from city centerThis little hotel is a real gem - situated in a rural area, between olive trees, vineyards and fields, the former finca offers rooms and wonderful pool-villas. The villas are of a very good size, in a tasteful design and offer a terrace with view to an unspoilt landscape and offer a pool from the size, that you can swim a little bit. It`s quiet and peaceful. You can hear the birds and the sheep-bells in the distance. Special thanks to Evgeni. For us he is the good soul of the hotel for some years now. He is always there when you need assistance or for a little chat . Only the restaurant felt a little bit down this year. On a balmy evening they refused us to sit outside. We quickly decided to go to our italian restaurant in Cala Rajada (there you can always sit outside, even on a stormy March-evening). Suddenly we were allowed to sit on the terrace. Other guests joined us. We were treated a little bit cold for our non-complying behaviour on this evening. Normally I would reduce one point for such an incident. But this hotel is so lovely, I don`t do it.

|1.28km from city center- Service: Despite being marketed as a high end esort, the service provided is reminiscent of a three-star hotel at best. Communication was extremely poor, and as a client, I felt neglected and disoriented. Very bad communication before the start. Only received the programme 3 days before arriving with schedule inconsistent with my departure times. - Boarding Experience for Kids: My kids were utterly dissatisfied with their stay. The guardians assigned were not only disorganised but also lacked the warmth and cordiality expected in such roles. Much to my dismay, most kids were excessively engaged with their mobile phones rather than participating in activities. -Programs and Activities: The camp seems to offer nothing beyond tennis, with no provisions for additional activities or events to foster a sense of community. This lack of support resulted in my children frequently seeking refuge with me instead of enjoying their time at the camp. - Facilities: Although aesthetically pleasing, the layout of the residence is a convoluted labyrinth. To reach my room required an excessive amount of navigation which felt very inefficient. - Staff and Management: The operations appear to be disorganised, hinting at a need for professional hotel management. Moreover, the reception staff was the epitome of rudeness and lacked professional decorum. - Room and Laundry Services: The rooms were satisfactory but constantly filled with noise from outside corridors and ongoing tennis matches outside. Additionally, the laundry service was inconveniently slow and required me to collect my laundry from reception. - Food and Healthcare: The restaurant options and food quality were average, but a serious concern arose when my son suffered from food poisoning. The advertised nurse, who should be an essential presence considering the nature of the camp, was inconsistently available and only on site from 12.30 am. -Tennis Lessons: The coaching was satisfactory but certainly not extraordinary. I expected more professional interaction and advice, not what I could receive from any ex-pro in a local club. Furthermore, the lack of social activities led to repetitive training sessions with the same partners. -Children's Experience: My children, despite being in different age groups and levels, mirrored my feelings of dissatisfaction and stagnancy. The inability to progress in their game was a significant drawback. -Leadership: I expected the presence of more experienced coaches, instead of young, inexperienced staff members. Unfortunately, the involvement of lead coaches, let alone Toni Nadal, was visibly absent. - Location: Manacor, the host town, was underwhelming with not much to offer culturally or aesthetically, thus providing little to no external engagement. In conclusion, the Rafa Nadal Camp and Residence proved to be an unprofessional, disorganised, and inefficient experience. Despite being great fans of Nadal, this camp was a letdown and I would not recommend

|0.98km from city centerWe stayed last week the week the hotel closed so am going to try be fair with my review but I feel we may of missed this hotels full potential… on arrival we checked in more or less straight away, nice clean entrance with a nice feel about it. Friendly staff all over the complex especially the bar staff full of smiles. The room we stayed was in an ideal area not central as I requested a quiet zone so we slept soundly it was peaceful. The room was bright fresh and modern. Regular cleaners did a great job. The grounds are so well kept lovely to walk around. Beautiful views. Unfortunately was disappointed that we expected a beach but could not go on as if was just covered with big rocks so had to admire the sea over the walls. A few kids play areas good could be improvedx there is 3 pools outside clean but absolutely freezing, really could do with being heated! Indoor pool was small and lighting was dark, so we didn’t bother. Main restaurant had lots of indoor and outdoor seating, lots of clearing and cleaning being done all the time. The food was always warm but it was a lot of odd mixed items and a lot of the same every night. Drinks would run out and not be replaced for a day or two if at all. I can’t help but wonder if the shut down had something to do with this though. Not much food for fussy kids. Lovely evening entertainment area but it did get busy and the hotel wasn’t even half full I wouldn’t like to think of the chaos of it had been. There was a kids club but my kids didn’t go so can’t comment. The entertainment reps seemed great some very good live shows. There is a small quiet road in the middle of hotel it is spilt over 2 sides but is a zebra crossing and not busy at all wasn’t an issue. The snack bar was okay there was a small selection of burgers, buns, salad through the day but I feel their should be grab and go snacks for children such as packs crisps, biscuits etc…. There was very poor choice or ice cream 1 brand choice of a small pot of either strawberry or chocolate and only 1 type of ice lolly on 2 days. Definitely needs to be more choice. Cala Bona town a short 10 minute to with a small selection of gift shops and convince worth a visit and we got on the free bus to Cala Millor which took 10minutes a lovely bigger town also worth a visit. Over all we enjoyed our stay we would consider returning as some point. Thank you.

The reception and bellboy were all friendly. I booked a place with a quiet and well-equipped restaurant because it was a honeymoon accommodation. The tapas bar was delicious and the breakfast was great. The birds chirping every morning is still in my ears! The distance is quite far from downtown Mallorca. I recommend that you come to enjoy this hotel completely! I didn't enjoy all of the three days of stay, including restaurants, spas and swimming pools in the hotel. It was really good to eat fresh fruit every morning. If you can afford money, I recommend a room with a terrace ~
Good hotel to come with family unit couple friends! About 100 euros by taxi from the airport!
I will definitely stay again if I go to Mallorca ^^

|0.37km from city centerJust returned from a Monday to Friday break with family. We read the reviews before travelling so was not expecting too much but we were actually pleasantly surprised. Great location minutes from beach, shops, bars etc. The hotel was clean as was the pool area. Lots of free sunbeds. The food was typical all inclusive with some wierd and wonderful dishes but also delicious salads, meats, fresh breads and the most tasty pate. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. The rooms were dated but cleaned every day. We had rooms overlooking the pool which were great. We all said we would definitely stay here again. The transfer is a bit long 1.5 hours but you soon forget about that when sat on your sunbed.

All Mallorca sightseeing places are reacheable by car in 1 - 1,5 hour drive through picturesque surroundings. Nice beach nearby, horse ranch to ride for kids 5 min by feet. Cleanliness at the hotel was perfect, food at breakfast and dinner outstanding. Staff welcoming and fluently talking english and german. Perfect place for family vacation.

|0.49km from city centerGiven a nice welcome by reception on arrival which was appreciated after a difficult journey due to flight delays and transfer delays.We found the hotel to be everything we hoped for and being given a room on the top floor with a pool and sea view was a bonus.The staff were very efficient but also really friendly and helpful.Considering we were all inclusive the food was of a good quality and always a good choice.We were there for seven nights but unfortunately on the fourth day we were informed the restaurant,bars and entertainment were finishing and we had to use the sister hotel for these facilities for the rest of our stay.Unfortunately my friend had mobility issues so this was far from ideal but the alternative offered was to pack and move to the other hotel which was just going to be as much hassle.I wish this situation had been explained when we arrived as we would have happily moved to the other hotel then . Whilst I would have no hesitation going back to the Aluasun,I would want to be sure that was not going to happen again.

|15.83km from city centerOur cash was stolen from the room while having breakfast. We know the cash was in our wallets because we paid in cash for dinner the night before. Also, it was gone from my and my wife’s wallets so it couldn’t be just lost or coincidence. The only time we didn’t have our back packs that contained our wallets in them was during this breakfast just before checking-out. The breakfast took 15 minutes max. We stayed at the 2nd floor. Balcony doors and windows were closed. Even wooden sun covers were closed. Doors were locked with a key upon leaving for breakfast (not a card lock). The staff was uncooperative in helping to resolve the issue and refused to show security recordings for some vague “legal” reasons (basically balming GDPR). Room service (cleaners) were trying to enter our room for at least 3 times while we stayed at the hotel. One time just 3-4 hours after our check-in they were trying to enter the room but couldn’t as the key was inserted from inside. When I came out of the room asking what do they want they looked surprised that we’re there (we were sleeping because we had an overnight ferry) and asked if we need a new towel or toilet paper. Seems strange when this happens 3 hours after you enter freshly prepared room after check-in. When we reported about the theft via booking site messages to the staff, we almost got threatened for accusing them for stealing which we did not in the first place. The receptionist that has spoken english pretty ok while checking-out (we still didn’t know that we were robbed), has totally forgotten how to speak english when we arrived at the lobby after finding out about the theft. She said she cannot understand us and doesn’t speak english :) We paid in cash for the stay in the hotel and paid in cash at the bar for the drinks. It would be just another theft from a hotel room, probably, if it wasnt done in a broad daylight, in 15 minutes time that we were out of the room that was locked and had its balcony’s door closed (including the wooden sun covers). Cannot directly point the fingers to the staff or room service, cause I have no evidence and weren’t allowed to review security recordings, but this raises too damn many questions. I hope the police will be given the access to the security footage and will find out what has happened. If I were you, I would avoid this hotel. This has totally ruined our vacation mood (at least tenporarily) because it is really really disgusting to be robbed and then be treated rude and suspiciously by the staff.

|13.9km from city centerIt is 25 metres from the beach, the pool is good size and is well designed with many shadows, the apartment is large and with two quite large terraces, the bar has children and adult games, several billiards, etc, and has a bar on two sides, one inside and another outside to ask if you are in the pool or in the night animation, has also a small thiovivo, a small circuit with 2 3-wheel kits for children, a small child park and some other recreational machine.
They have washing area with washing machine and dryer for 4 and 3 euros respectively.
The staff is pleasant, especially the girl in the pool bar, all sympathy and friendliness.
It also has a small parking even if it is filled immediately, but there is no problem to park around.

|0.28km from city centerAnother year and another 7 days at Na Taconera hotel with 60 tennis players. The hotel ticks all the boxes - the pool is welcoming after a tough day of tennis. Stayed on a room on the 4th floor with a terrace and balcony - good sized and the shower was lovely. Food can be a bit basic but I was on HB so breakfast and lunch ticked the boxes. The rooftop bar and jacuzzis is a lovely area - views are pretty stunning. If you literally walk across the road you hit the tennis / padel club, which also has gym. HENNIS HOLIDAYS organised a full week of sessions and tournaments which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

|13.86km from city centerWe booked knowing not to expect luxury for the price we paid but aside from that after reading previous reviews it was a place that we hoped would suit us, we like smaller family run places as you feel valued more and Arcos didn’t disappoint. We came as a family of 8 with two 80 year olds in the party. Toni remembered quite quickly her preferred breakfast and we didn’t need to ask for it. he also let us celebrate her birthday in the bar with a cake bought from outside the hotel, nothing was too much trouble. We quickly made friends with other holiday makers who had been visiting the place for some time and I could understand why! If you are wanting a fabulous location, 2 mins from the beach, supermarket opposite, bus stop 1 min away then this is the place for you. Beach is gorgeous with ten or so restaurants around there, if you fancy a stroll Sa Coma is 2 mins over the bridge where you will find countless restaurants with shops in between. If you can look beyond the few imperfections you will have a super time. We stayed in room 107 which was a 2 bed apartment so it was huge, view not the best though, but hey you can’t win them all, bathroom recently modernised, lots of hot water, always. Toni and Martin work tirelessly from morning til night and Toni’s bingo was something I’ve never experienced before, different, but funny. We also ate in a few times and food was good. We have just booked for next June.

If you are just before the place where the finca has been signposted, it is easy to find it and it is good to take the train. ...The size of the room is very large, there is a bathtub in the middle of the room, our suite has a beautiful balcony with a very beautiful balcony. |11.6km from city centerWe stayed here for three nights before moving to the sister hotel. From the moment we arrived we could not fault the service or the friendliness of everyone. Our room was beautiful with the most amazing bathroom including an outside shower. The bed was huge and very comfy and everything was spotlessly clean. The pool by the beach was lovely and again the service at the bar was excellent with us not having to move if we didn’t want to. The staff made our stay though, nothing was too much trouble and they went over and above for us. The hotel grounds are lovely, a peaceful and beautiful setting and perfect for a relaxing few days. The food in the restaurant was amazing and some of the best we have eaten anywhere. Thank you everyone for making our stay so lovely. We will come back.

|0.21km from city centerWe came for a short stay at Apartamemtos Sol Romantica tobget away from the hustle and bustle and I have to say that it did not dissapoint. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment overlooking the pool. This is a small hotel set in a quiet location, a short walk from the beach. There is good transport to Porto Cristo with a bus stop and the tourist mini road train both stopping directly outside. We had a lovely friendly welcome from the lady in reception who provided us with all of the information we needed before showing us to our room. It felt like a very personal service which is unusual in our experience. The grounds of the hotel are immaculate and the pool is a good size for the number of apartments with plenty of space to relax. There were always sinbeds available and lits of space between them. The room was spotlessly clean and fairly big. It had a small kitchen (2 ring hob, microwave and fridge), a dining table with 4 chairs, a sofa (sofa bed), 2 comfortable chairs and a small flatscreen tv. The beds were ok, nothing special but comfortable enough although the rubber mattress protectors are horrible. There is good aircon in both the lounge and the bedroom. The bathroom is ok although the shower in the bath is a bit treacherous due to the rounded bottom of the bath. The apartments are well looked after but they are very dated and the furniture is old but it is functional and was good enough for us. The restaurant is excellent and the service is very good. The waiter is very friendly and polite. Unfortunately the restaurant is open to the public and diners also have access to the swiming pool and sun loungers. This meant that when the restaurant opened for lunch a few local families turned up with small children and the serenity was no more. They were there for the children to be able to use the pool and play and this is what they did, quite noisily. This is a good time to leave the hotel grounds and go to the beach. Overall we had a lovely stay and will definitely return when we come to this side of the island.
