Hotels Near Platmaison In Paris
0.13km from PlatmaisonLocated in the heart of the 9th district, this beautiful apartment has been decorated with an eye for detail, featuring well chosen art work and contemporary furniture. On the 4rd floor (with elevator), typical of Haussmmanian architecture, with its elegant wooden floor, high ceilings, mouldings, large fireplaces, big windows, it comprises a lobby, a bright living room with a comfortable double sofa bed (that sleeps 2 adults), a dining table and chairs, a large bedroom with a double bed (140x200), a second bedroom with a double bed (140x190), a fully equipped kitchen, a brand new bathroom with a big shower, a separate wc/powder room.Despite being located in one of the bobo hotspots of the city, it's very quiet at night, as the flat is overlooking private courtyards and not the street. The nearest Metro station (Anvers) is only 3 minutes away.Almost every tourist site can be reached walking (assuming you enjoy walking a bit). You can park nearby in a secure parking (fees apply).Keys will be handed to you directly at our apartment.Towels and bed linens are provided. No doubt this apartment will give you the ultimate Parisian experience!Situated in the upscale 9th arrondissement, it's particularly close to Montmartre (you can see the Sacrée Coeur from the street and the Moulin Rouge is 5 mn away), the musee du Louvre and the famous Opéra Garnier. There you can enjoy the shopper's mecca of Galeries Lafayette and Printemps, among many others. The area is very busy with traditional food stores (boulangeries, charcuteries, boucheries, wine cellars, fromagers), fruit and veggie stores, organic food stores, trendy cafes and restaurants. The nearby theaters and museums (I strongly recommend the Musee National Gustave Moreau, a hidden gem of a museum, formerly the artist's home and studio, and the Musee de la vie Romantique, where you can enjoy tea in the little, old fashioned garden, away from the hustle and bustle of the city streets) make the whole neighbourhood very lively.
0.16km from PlatmaisonFrom my own experience, this hotel is great if you book a studio ( bigger room) ask for studio nmbr 22 at 2nd floor. I enjoyed my 4 nights stay there as the location is perfect near restaurants shops and most importantly the train station called Gare du Nord in french ( Northern Station). Checkin was fast, was worried when I read few reviews before making my booking. The bathroom is great no issue with water, heater or whatsoever. I only disliked the bed is two beds together which makes a gape in between.the lift is small like a long box can only fit 2 persons and 1 small bag, if more than 2 people must go up separately, the breakfast is good and enough if you want to save money of going out, Reception staff are kind Alejandro, Monia and Jamal.. Have also space for reading some books and playing for kids. If I decide to go paris again, Avalon will be my home.

0.17km from PlatmaisonWe’ve just checked out of 114 and really enjoyed our stay with you guys, from check in to check out everyone we spoke to was very nice, polite and helpful, We were 1 adult 2 teenagers and our room was perfect for us, all 3 beds very comfortable, the room was very clean and well stocked but also very modern with two tvs and lots of charging points although not all worked the reception were more than happy to lend an adapter plug to us. Location is great and only a short walk from the train station and also only 7 euros for a taxi into the centre, many good restaurants close by if you use tripadvisor to find them you’ll be very happy, thanks again and see you again in the future.
0.18km from PlatmaisonHOTEL: Typical budget for Paris center. ROOM & SLEEPING QUALITY: I stayed solo in a double room. For me it was all right regarding the space. But for two people it may be cramped. The room was oriented toward the inner courtyard . It was very quiet at night. Otherwise the hotel is in the street with low car traffic but with young people on the street at night. Also the walls between the rooms are extremely thin but I was lucky to have no loud neighbors. My good rating of the sleeping quality might not be universal. BATHROOM: Small. There were not enough towel hanger for all towels, although there was possibility to install two more on each sides of the toilet. CLEANLINESS: Cotton white bed sheet and white towels were clean. The bathroom was also clean. WIFI: Good. Electric socket by the bed. BREAKFAST: Very simple French, not buffet. VALUE FOR MONEY: Acceptably for Paris center. I did not expect the luxury.
0.19km from PlatmaisonThe location is very close to the North Train and there are many restaurants around. Easy to eat. However, the English staff at the hotel front desk was average and inefficient. Ink. Ink. The elevator clearly stated that it was possible to borrow a hair dryer from the front desk and said no when asked. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are small. For the first time in Paris, think about finding a place to leave the station and go to the airport. But to be honest, it wasn't worth it. Later I learned to take the subway, only to find that as long as it is close to the subway entrance.
0.23km from PlatmaisonWe stayed one night and it was good. Close to Gare Du Nord, lots of eateries and grocery stores as well. There is a McDonald's within walking distance. Gare Du Est is also 10 minutes walking distance. We stayed for one night, so we didn't find any problem with it.
0.24km from PlatmaisonHotel location is very good, very close to the train station, travel is very convenient, the boss is super good, we started living for five days, then came back to Paris from Frankfurt for another three days, washing clothes every day in the summer, the room is clean and tidy, the boss is The second stay also offered a discount on the room rate and breakfast. It was a very good person. I hope to go to Paris next time to stay at this hotel! Recommend everyone to stay! Thank you
0.25km from PlatmaisonFew main things that could be better: 1)window of the room goes to the yard place and there is no light coming from the window to the room, so all the time the electricity should be swiched on, even it is very poor, so discomfort of not feeling day light or just the normal light. 2)Lack of waste bin in the room. There is just very small one in bathroom. Not enough for three people room. 3) Paper walls-any movement of neighbours could be felt.. 4) Lack of ventilation. 5)Could be more sockets-in this electronical world should be more:) Advantages: very very good location! To any direction metro or easy way reachable by foot! Friendly staff. Asked for additional blanket-got that followed with nice smile. Rooms: clean!!!! rooms, bathroom, bed linen-clean and nice. Towels changed every day. Room not so big but comfortable.

0.27km from PlatmaisonOkay, I didn't read ALL the reviews about this place i had already booked for a week June 16th to the 20th. When i arrived at the hotel i was shocked. The neighborhood was far from what i was expecting. Now mind you, I live in a very nice Florida neighborhood. quiet, clam, safe. i grew up in the Bronx, but that was 20 years ago. As I carried my bags up the flight of stairs to our rooms, i was mad at myself. When I looked out the window to my room, i was frightened. I called my travel agent and begged her to get me out of this hotel, that i was terrified for me and my teenage daughters. I took to the internet myself to find another hotel i was going to check into that very night. It was far too late for that. the cheapest i could get was 600.00 PER NIGHT!!! Ok, i was stuck here. I told myself i was to go outside during the day and be back at the hotel before sunset. Now fast forward 5 days and i didn't want to leave!!!. The neighborhood, I'll admit is going through a transition. 1 block one way is really terrible, BUT!!! a FIVE MINUTE WALK AND I WAS WATCHING STEVIE VAN ZANT FROM BRUCE SPRINGSTEENS E-STREET BAND PLAYING AT A LOCAL JOINT. You will have to look and learn and you will learn, like all neighborhoods in LA and New York, you have to do your homework. A couple of things don't make it a 5 star hotel....The WIFI is not all it should be and There are no elevators (lifts). The staff is really great and it comes with free breakfast, the best croissants in Paris!!! The rooms are all redone, but the lack of closet space is bad, really bad. But for the price, it is worth my 4 star review. If you want all the bells and whistles of a 5 star resort, 2 things you need to know....BOOK EARLY AND OPEN YOUR WALLETS!!!

0.28km from PlatmaisonWell — discovery at last of a really good place. We’ve been overnighting in Paris for years, and after our favourite place took a dive, following new ownership, we’ve been searching for somewhere decent and we’ve found it. OK, so Eu 145 a night isn’t cheap, but nowhere’s cheap, nowadays, and an awful lot of other places aren’t like Lerocroy. It’s good. The greeting on arrival is important, because you can be tired and scratchy, and the welcome at Lerocroy was outstanding, Nothing smarmy, you’ll understand — just courteous and sensible and calming. The room was excellent. Absolutely immaculate. A very good bathroom and comfortable beds. Temperature control excellent and it was quiet. Anything more you want? We’ll certainly be back, although I’ll try to get a deal on the price!
0.32km from PlatmaisonI shall start with the positives . Apartment is very close to Sacre Couer and about 10 minutes away from Gare du Nord. Bathroom nicely decorated and had a heated towel rail . Quiet apartment even though on a busy street. The downside was the ceiling in the kitchen area was flaking badly they had obviously had a leak at some point. The bedroom had holes in the wall and the blinds didn't work properly . No bedding was left for the sofa bed even though we had informed them that as we were sisters we wanted to sleep separately. Think the apartment is slightly overpriced and didn't have a way to contact owner. If the decoration problems were sorted then this would be a lot better

0.36km from PlatmaisonTrying to find very cheap accommodation in Paris, 1 minute from a Metro, close to a major attraction and very clean/modernised is rare, but we found that with Le Regent. I was tracing with my 2 boys (7&8) and a friend, so was tracking down a quadruple room. Le Regent appeared to have some good recent reviews and didn’t see the words “bed bugs” anywhere, which seemed a common theme with most cheap digs. Hotel is easy to find and right besides Anvers Metro, No.2 line and at the base of the hill to the Sacre Couer. Staff were young and attentive and very friendly by Paris standards! Our room was on the 6th floor, accessibly by small lift (max 3 persons) or wide staircase. Once in the room, Wow!! A view to die for. While the balcony only fits one person, it’s was t a problem for us. The beds were firm, clean and room big enough for just sleeping and relaxing, we’re their for exploring Paris, not staying in the room. OK W/C and shower room, no issue with hot water and good pressure. I would have no hesitation in going back, it’s a hidden gem! Only negatives I could find, and it’s minor. Yes, my feet did stick out from end if bed, but at 6’3” it’s something I’m very use to and still got a great night sleep. Fronting a main road, we heard 2-3 sirens during the night, but very little from the public so the double glazing did it’s job. Finally, as mentioned, expect a small lift, but it’s very common in Paris, just enjoy its quirky quality! Thanks guys, had an amazing stay!
Hotels Near Platmaison In Paris Review
Stayed 9 nights. Got a room in the 5' floor with balcony. Small but very nice. Superb location, some 20 m. from the Rue Rivoli on a quiet small street. No noise at all. Meters from St. Jaques Tour and the Hotel de Ville (Municipality). Exit from the Hotel de Ville Metro station, exit Rue Coutellierie, has mechanic stairs till the street which is not so common. For elderly people, or with baby trolleys, etc. is perfect. Walking distance from Forum des Halles, Louvre, Pompidou Center, Notre Dame, Latin Quarter, etc. Everyone speaks english. Stephan speaks Spanish as well. Very nice and helpful good looking and cooperative guy. Completely refrubrished. Insulated walls prevent from any noise from other rooms or street which is anyway very quiet. Beautiful, small bathroom. Small but has everything. New furniture. Wooden floor. New and very good quality of towels. Very good heating. Kettle and coffe machine in the room. Now cons: not everything is bright: The room is perfect but very very small. Has very little shelves and room for clothes. Beautiful but extremely small. Need to improve exterior entrance which is brown, dark, and old, leaving a not nice impression. Nice and clean lobby but outside look, needs improvement. Same with the corridors rugs. I will definitely come back and recommend to my friends, those who don't mind to stay in a very small room - but very nice and pleasant.
Good location, nearby Carrefour, franprix and other supermarkets! I live on the 2nd floor facing the street, and it is very quiet at night, but the sound insulation between the room and the room is really average. The room is not large and has a balcony (not every room, so it is best to leave a message to tell the room with a balcony when booking) ), There is also a door in the bathroom sharing a balcony with the room, so the balcony is quite large. The hotel only provides shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer. Slippers, toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Lines 7 and 10 are only 5 minutes' walk from the surrounding area. Line 4 is about 15 minutes away. The 5th district is a Latin area, surrounded by universities, so it is safe! The hotel has access control locks, staff need to help open the door to enter! Breakfast is an ordinary western-style breakfast, bread, milk, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and cheese. A tax of 1.88 euros per person per night, which must be paid to the front desk when checking out. This Ctrip will also call you when you are in China to inform you that this tax must be paid to the hotel separately! The hotel provides free wlan, but the Internet speed is average, the room has air conditioning and heating. In short, the price is high!
In Christmas 2019 in France, I ordered a Superior King Room (with sofa bed). The size of the room is already relatively large in Paris. The two 24-inch boxes can be spread out and can be used at the same time.
Hotel location: In the 1st district, about 10 minutes from the Louvre if not. The entrance of the hotel is Line 1 and Line 14 subway stations, which is very convenient (although we happened to strike in France when we went there, the subway stopped ... But it is very convenient to live here if you come here to play). There are a variety of restaurants near the hotel downstairs, from McDonald's to Italian French and Japanese. There is also a 10-minute walk from St. Eustache Church. The church will have an organ show around 5pm on Sunday, which is worth a look.
Room facilities: There is a kettle (I originally brought a portable kettle, but the boiled water has white foam. In the end, I can only use the hotel. Fortunately, the hotel's kettle is quite clean. The shampoo and bath are two in one. Washing hands and washing face in one. The smell is very comfortable. It doesn't dry out after washing.
Breakfast: Special! do not! it is good! We stayed in Paris for 5 nights. One of the most anticipated daily is the hotel breakfast. There are various types of bread such as ham, bacon, cheese, and baguettes. The best thing is their croissant and small square chocolate filling. The bag has a particularly crispy outer skin, and the inside is very soft. The fruits are also cut. The oranges, kiwis, pineapples, grapefruits, bananas, and watermelons are also available. You can also squeeze the juice directly (but the grapefruit is a bit bitter and is not recommended ), The coffee machine is also self-service, there are latte, fast coffee, cappuccino, etc., hot dishes are omelet, tomato sauce, bean sauce, boiled potatoes, etc. Others are oatmeal, raspberry juice, grapefruit juice and orange juice ( Of course it's ice). If you want to eat fried eggs, you can tell the waiter that the kitchen is fried and delivered to the location.
Overall the hotel experience is very good.
Booked based on location before reading reviews so was a little nervous about what to expect. Have to say I saw no evidence of the poor maintenance shown in some photos, the public areas of the hotel and our room were in perfect order and very clean. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the front desk is manned 24x7. We arrived far too early for check-in hoping we could just leave our bags but the room was ready so they let us have it right away. They kept hold of our bags for us until an evening flight on check-out day too. The room was quite small but that's normal for the old buildings in the area. Shower was over the bath but decent pressure. Location is ideal, at the quieter end of one of the less busy streets in the Marais, so only two minutes walk from all the cafes, bars and restaurants but not too noisy. I will happily book again next time I'm working in Paris.
I've stayed at this hotel on several occasions in the past, and after a 10 year gap I returned to Paris for a few days and booked again. I was not disappointed! The location is just excellent...Pompidou is a block away, BHV literally opposite. Le Marais, Notre Dame etc. are a short stroll, and everywhere else a quick metro ride away. I was in town for work but even being tired at the end of the day, getting out to eat and sightsee in the evenings was effortless. The hotel has a contemporary boutique feel - stylish but subtle and nicely updated since my previous visits. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, and my room was modern and comfortable. I opted for the express breakfast each morning, which offers juice, coffee and a selection of wonderful fresh breads and pastries. A perfect start to my day and again served by a welcoming and friendly member of staff. I can't recommend this place enough, and I will be returning on my next Paris visit!
We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of February. The first two nights were on the 3rd floor facing the street. It was significantly loud with traffic and street noise. On the third night we switched to a 4th floor room that faces the courtyard and alley. MUCH quieter. Both rooms were executive sized (larger than standard.) It was nice to have the extra room, however, there were at least two too-many pieces of furniture in each room that ate up a lot of the space! We could have done without the extra side chair and occasional table. (Or keep those two and get rid of the love seat!) It didn't help that my wife and I each had two large pieces of luggage each. The furniture is a little dated but not unsettling. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom modern and clean. (although the shower had a very slow drain and the pan backed up with a pool of water, yuck.) One more thing about the first bathroom: The faucets were a design of smooth chrome; so smooth that it was impossible to turn them off with wet hands! Design fail! The executive room we moved to on the 4th floor was a bit bigger, and better laid out. This one had a tub shower and workable faucets! FTW! The roof deck is NOT TO BE MISSED! One of the best views in Paris! All front desk and cleaning staff were gracious and very helpful. I would possibly stay here again if only for the location and roof top view!
