Stayed here for a park/cruise special. Stay one night, and park the car for the week. The rate was cheaper than just parking at the pier. The hotel itself is spread out, and is pretty big, with 99 rooms. Don't let the outside appearance fool you. It's been remodeled inside. The hotel is old, not even elevator for the 2nd floor. The parking spaces are VERY small and sedans closer to the ground (like mine) get stuck on the parking curb stops, almost ripping off the bumper. Just don't pull close to them and you'll be fine. The rooms still have double beds, which is silly, because there is plenty of room for two queen beds. The rooms are spacious, CLEAN, and the bathroom is huge. Updated sinks, showers, etc. The beds are comfortable, staff is very nice and accommodating. Are you ready for the best part of this hotel? Something I've never seen before in a hotel. At the breakfast buffet, which was decent, is a...........are you ready? A pancake machine! No messy and dry waffles.....You push a button and 1 minute later, out comes, on a conveyor belt, 2 fluffy and pretty good pancakes!! It was awesome. We cruise out of Long Beach often, and this now will be our "go-to" hotel for the night and for parking the car.

My husband and I were finally able to get away for a much needed vacation . We usually stay at one of the large hotel chains but this time, decided to get something closer to the beach. We made reservations at the Belmont Shore Inn not really sure what to expect - what we'd be losing in choosing not to go with the big chain. First thing we noticed is that it literally is just steps away from the beach. The room we stayed in was a lot bigger than most and they did have Directv! It was updated and quite comfortable. There was a grocery store right next door so we were able to stock the fridge and not have to eat out every night. The biggest surprise for me, was standing just feet away from hundreds of wild parrots living in the trees across the street. It was something I had never experienced before. As far as any issues we came across, I have to say parking was a concern at times as it is very limited. I do have to say however, that every time the owners noticed us out looking around, whether for a parking spot or at the parrots, the owner came right out to offer advise on what we needed to do, where to go, etc. They truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome - something you'd never get at that big chain hotel! We will definitely make the Belmont Shore Inn our first choice for all of our future stays.

There are two family hotels in Long Beach. This one is close to the airport, and there are also homes by the sea. I have stayed at two hotels this time. This is my second home, it feels better than the one by the sea, because the price is cheaper. The room was neat and clean, and the utensils for cooking were very complete. I was particularly surprised that the floor in the bathroom was warm. Could it be that old hotels would also have floor heating? !! Ha ha breakfast for 9:30, there is nothing left, the waiter can't wait to pack home. Go early if you have breakfast.

At the last minute I decided to rent a room at the Marriott for my kids and I so we could beat the heat. I rented a 2 bed room, when I arrived at 5pm they only had a 1 bed room available. The front desk agent didn't even say, sorry for not having the correct room type available. Instead I got, here's your room, that's all we have, you're lucky you got that because you didn't even book directly with the hotel, it's a third party reservation and they messed up for giving it to you. I travel a lot and I work in the hotel industry, never I have ever heard such poor customer service from a front desk agent. When I asked what could be done to make things right, the front desk agent said, there's nothing that can be done, it wasn't our fault. I asked to speak to a manager, he happened to be seating next to the front desk agent and heard the entire exchange. He said, she right, there's nothing that can be done. I asked if I should speak with someone a bit higher up tomorrow, he said go ahead but the manager working tomorrow is the same level as me and there's nothing that can be done. I asked for a business card of the director of guest services, they gave me a blank card with the hotel address on it. I asked them to please write the directors name on the card. They had to look it up. So the front desk was awful! Later I asked the front desk if we could have someone pull out and make up the sofa bed for us. It wasn't done. However, the room was nice and clean, the housekeepers and maintenance staff were friendly and the bar tender/coffee shop people were wonderful. Too bad the front desk was just awful. If you want to know what could have been done, well here you go. A good hotel that values your business will offer f&b credit or an upgrade or reduced rate for a future stay. I've never been treated this way ever.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night and it was very nice and clean. The lady in the front office was super nice and very welcoming. Their new renovations are so cute. Although a little small but not an issue. I definitely recommend staying here. Plus it’s a 5 minute walk from the beach and nice sight seeing in downtown Long Beach.

The hotel environment is very good, dining on the beach. There are long scenic paths along the coast to enjoy. Sitting on a sofa by the water during the day is great! There are flames at night. The floors are not too high, and it is convenient to go up and down. Next time I go, I will choose here.

There are two family hotels in Long Beach. This one is located by the sea. The other one is next to the airport. I have stayed at both hotels. It was the first one I lived in. The one close to the airport was not comfortable and the cost performance was not high. The parking fee plus the room charge added up to nearly 1800. My room can't see the sea yet, I booked a double bed, but gave me a double bed, and I was too lazy to change ~ The room was still clean, the cooking utensils were very complete, and the check-in staff was very enthusiastic But the air conditioner was too noisy, basically I couldn't sleep well all night! For breakfast at 9:30, there is no more food, the waiters can't wait to pack up and go home. Go early if you have breakfast.

My stay was rough but not due to anything from the staff. The staff was very helpful and kind, even in the midst of some domestic drama. I appreciate their professionalism and would recommend this place to anyone in the Long Beach area looking for a nice affordable place to stay. It has view of the Shoreline Village marina and small personal balconies.

The biggest advantage of Hyatt Regency Long Beach compared to Hyatt Regency San Francisco is that it is convenient for parking. Right next to the hotel, you can enter the garage directly at the hotel's main entrance. There are many and spacious parking spaces in the garage. The hotel will give you a magnetic card for 31 nights parking. It is convenient to go in and out at will.

Different hotels staying in the United States every day for 15 days use booking and Ctrip. With both app bookings, Ctrip has the advantage of being a bit cheaper than booking. But Ctrip appears moths every time it is used! It often happens that the hotel does not receive the Ctrip payment, but Ctrip has deducted the payment, so that the hotel still has to pay. The lost money is usually about 200 US dollars. Ctrip said that it will be dealt with, and it is still not handled well until check-out. It might as well cost dozens of dollars to book with booking ... At least it will not cost hundreds of thousands Too depressed I won't recommend all my friends to use Ctrip overseas ... I hope everyone will not be as miserable as me. The hotel I have stayed in has no problem. The quality of Hilton is as always. The front desk of the Holiday Hotel is more anxious than repeatedly contacting the supplier. As for Ctrip, you never spit out money when you eat money.

This is probably the smallest hyatt living till now, it feels like a factory remodeling and then hanging the hyatt card! No lobby is super small. The left hand is the entrance to the restaurant. The curry smell drifts all year round. The elevator is like a freight elevator. The room is very small. Although the business hotel is equipped with a small hall, the total area will not exceed 25 square meters! The socket is old, and it is easy to loosen and not charge. The only plus point may be the girl at the front desk, cheerful and enthusiastic. Been to Beijing and a little Chinese is very friendly. In addition, the hotel only has a valet parking of $ 35 / night. The public parking space on the doorstep of the hotel and on the street behind the hotel is free from 9pm every night-9am the next day is free, 2 knifes / hour after 9am. The parking lot next to the hotel is 16 knives / night, provided that the receipt from the mall next door is required to enjoy the price. Self-driving friends can choose to park on the street and go down in the morning to pay 1-2 hours of fare.

We are now in September, Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month. And I have not been able to reverse an "an overwhelming smell of smoke" charge to my credit card.  July 22 is my thyroid cancer free anniversary. Due to the pandemic celebratory ideas were limited. I decided on a staycation. I just wanted to escape and be poolside. What I thought was a successful staycation regardless of the small hiccups we encountered and ignored. Has now been a real lingering headache. I learned about the $200 charge through my credit card on August 4, 2020. The hotel did not call me to inform me of the extra charges. And they also did not email me a copy of the invoice until I called the hotel to ask about the charges in August. The front desk says they can't help me. So I get transferred to the general manager Deone. He was admitted about the smoke smell. He even said he had to hire a company to extract the smell and that he was just passing along the charges. I asked to see the invoice. He said he would email it to me. I am still waiting on that email.  On August 8, 2020 I reach out to customer service at Choice Hotels. They were unable to help me. Their response team awarded me 8,000 points does not come close to the $200 charge. And to stay at the Cove hotel its 25,000 points a night. And I PAID APPROXIMATELY $140 a night. Also my boyfriend surprised me with roses and placed them over TOWELS. It goes to show how mindful and cautious we are. We did not smoke in the room. I'm attaching a picture from my Snapchat so you guys can see the date along with the roses and towels. Be careful when staying at the Cove.

This Motel 6 was better than expected! My friend and I needed a last minute accommodation after our initial reservation at another hotel in the area cancelled our reservation. Was hesitant at first but decided to book and stay here. Area was not the best but we still felt safe at the hotel. Check in was quick and the staff was friendly! Room was clean and not bad at all! But what I really appreciated was that when I checked out, I forgot one of my bags in the room. I had already left the hotel when I got a call within minutes from the front desk letting me know I left my purse in the room. Great, honest people!!

The hotel is not bad, the location is good, walk to Long Beach and the Ocean Museum for ten minutes. There are many restaurants around, and there are many hotels like Marriott, which are more expensive. This is similar to a motel, and the price is OK. It is a bad attitude towards Ctrip booking staff, saying that after the deduction is not responsible for the success of the booking, even directly call me

My wife and I both liked this place. But be warned, it’s not for everybody. This review will explain why this place, overall, has low ratings. First of all, the good things: this place was clean. The bed linens were changed every night we were there. The maid service is wonderful. The A/C worked perfectly well and was not too noisy. The TV was great too. No problems with the stations or the remote. The place does look like it SHOULD be unclean. You can tell that there is no rhyme or reason to the decor. In fact, there is NO decor. Picture asking a 10 year old to patch a hole in the wall and then repaint it. And then you notice that the paint doesn’t match. Come to think of it, neither do the floor tiles. That’s EXACTLY what it looks like there. You don’t stay here if you are high maintenance or to impress people. But if you want a clean place to stay, then the Travel Eagle Inn Motel is perfect. We plan to stay there again.

We stayed here two nights before flying home to Australia. A very basic motel but in a good position for our needs. Not far to walk to the bus terminal where we got the bus to the airport and also not far from a Passport bus stop. This is a free bus service that runs around town stopping at prominent places . The people who run the place are very helpful, on booking in we were given an upstairs room , when we asked if a ground floor was available so we did not have to carry heavy cases upstairs they were happy to oblige. No lift. Room very basic, no wardrobe, or cupboards, it was clean and the bed was ok ..bathroom was adequate, good hot water in the shower, bath was not inviting as the plug was rusty looking .There was a small fridge and the free wifi was very good. Very handy to the main shopping area and plenty of restaurants nearby. There is a pool to use , very handy in the hot weather. Check out time was 11am and our flight was not until the evening so they kindly kept our luggage in the office till later in the day while we visited a couple of places. That was very handy, it cost $9 each to get the airport.
