|0.74km from city centerLast weekend we were in Almería and we stayed at the Torreluz apartments because they had a kitchen and my daughter has severe food allergies, which almost no hotel establishment takes into consideration so that she can enjoy a restaurant meal. Upon arrival at the apartment, the only utensils available were glasses, a pan with a lid and a serving spatula, there were no cutlery, plates or a basic kit to wash the pan. When booking on the day, I explained the medical circumstances of the girl and they told me that I did not have to pay for breakfast since I was not going to consume it. When we went down to the hotel for breakfast, I myself brought her bread, cookies, milk, fruit, cold cuts, etc. In order for her to 'participate in the breakfast buffet', we gave her a glass of juice and immediately a lady from the dining room came up to tell us that if the girl consumed we had to pay (she even asked what the circumstances were). Of course, I explained the situation to him, I showed him the tupperware and the fridge with his food and at the exit I offered to pay for his breakfast, but they told me that it was not necessary. I just want to appeal to the sensitivity of the people who serve the public in these very special situations, which are not fashion or whim, and especially when they affect children, who are quite unfortunate because the hospitality industry does not serve them. It had never happened to me before and my daughter is 9 years old. I have always explained to him that his illness cannot be a limitation to travel or enjoy leisure in company. In short, my assessment cannot be positive nor will I recommend this hotel.

|0.72km from city centerUnbelievable apartments for the price. Stayed here for two separate nights in two different apartments. They are suites really and the ones we booked had separate kitchen, lounge and bedroom. Amazing value for the price - cheaper than most local hotels and right in the centre of Almeria. Amazing.

|0.9km from city centerWe were only staying in Almeria for 1 night on a road trip. You absolutely cannot beat this location. It is right in the middle of everything. It was under a 10 minute walk to the Alcazaba. Parking is in a parking garage about 2 blocks away and it was about $20. The hotel has an elevator. Our room was nice that it had 4 single beds and the bathroom was very modern. I would have rated this hotel as absolutely exceptional if the A/C worked better. That was our only problem - our room was warm. After spending the day walking around in the heat, I could have used a cooler room. In the morning there is a typical breakfast of lunch meats, cheese, fruit & breads.

|2.88km from city centerI stayed at this hotel for one night because I needed a place to sleep in a road trip I was doing through the south of Spain. Although the hotel matched the expectations, it isn’t the best of hotels. The staff is not incredibly nice, the hotel looked relatively old, the breakfast had its food in individual servings and had low variety, and the hotel was poorly located, away from the beach and the city center. Overall, it’s a hotel that suffices the need to a quick stay before departing again.

|0.06km from city centerLoved my time at this hotel. The location couldn't be more perfect for my needs. I loved swimming in the pool which never got that crowded and sometimes I was the only one so had it to myself. It was interesting watching the ferries in the port across the road from the room balcony. The beach wasn't far to walk maybe 10 minutes along the promenade and I had a great time jumping the waves. The little tourist train stop is nearby which takes you all around town and by the castle. The bridge attraction, park squares, art museum, restaurants and shops are all on the doorstep. The hotel staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient and helped me with some scanning. You can hire a kettle and iron for your stay. The buffet breakfast is nice and has all your usual items, you can have your eggs made to order. They also have snacks and icecreams you can have in the bar all day. I loved my room it was calm and peaceful on the 6th floor. I had the best sleep and didn't wake in the night , better than at home. The beds are comfortable. There is air con in the room so it was nice to come back to for a little siesta. The rooms are big and the beds. There is a big cupboard and a few drawers for your things. The bathroom was nice with a bath, shower and some useful toiletries. The hotel had a nice atmosphere and I am looking forward already to coming back next year !

|2.32km from city centerThe breakfast is relatively simple. The hotel does not provide airport pick-up service, and it costs about 17 euros by taxi in fifteen minutes. It's very close to the large shopping center. The hotel helps to call a taxi. It's affordable and quite suitable for business trips.

Almeria
|0.76km from city centerIt's a rather old fashioned, forgettably decorated hotel in a good central spot of Almeria. Because the hotel is situated in a small square surrounded by buildings, the rooms seem to have no special view (mine looked out onto a side street, my friend's onto a wall) and are a little dark (although this is quite normal in Spain). The breakfast buffet was modest but decent. The bed was comfortable, everything worked, I had all I needed, and the staff were generally helpful, but the vibe was fairly dismal. Also the staff seemed to be obsessed with closing windows, and there was no obvious system to stop them laundering the towels every day. No complaints, but I'd probably seek another place next time.

|12.99km from city centerBeautiful modern hotel with great staff right next to the beach. We stayed for one night, which turned out to be their last night of the season, very good value. We used the indoor pool and had it to ourselves. Beautiful rooms and spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the hotel. Will stay again.

|0.79km from city centerLocation is amazing and the parking is also really safe and private. Apartments are trendy with modern contemporary feel. Ceilings are 2 meters (14 feet) tall and very Airey feel. Great to be able to use a washer dryer half way thru a road trip as it cuts down on baggage. Bar on the roof is trendy and chic. However - don’t agree with them sending the public guests through the hotel to exit - defeats the security aspect completely and it’s annoying to hear a bunch of drunks rolling through the hotel at closing time. Aside from that it’s highly recommended.

|0.31km from city centerGenerally much nicer than expected from other 3* Spanish hotels. Well decorated and clean. English spoken by receptionists. Large lobby and breakfast room. No bar or food served other than breakfast. Breakfast simple self service adequate continental fayre with no hot items unless toast counts. Room large enough, again with simple adequate facilities but must complement the powerful shower. Bottled water in fridge was chargeable at 50 cents for 500 ml. Although good quadrupal glazing killed the street noises, there was internally poor noise insulation between room and corridor.

|0.73km from city centerWe had a wonderful holiday at Aire Hotel. Located in a quiet square in the centre of town with an easy walk to everywhere. The hotel is very stylish and the 'Ancient Baths' divine. I would like to make special mention of the reception staff who went above and beyond to make our visit a pleasure; I hope the hotel management recognises their friendliness, efficiency and professionalism.

|2.5km from city centerWe had appointments in the city so spent the night at this hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient, room spacious and spotless, the bed comfortable and the evening meal good. As is often the case the hot items at breakfast were on the cold side. Very good for anyone who does not want to drive righ down town.

|12.48km from city centerThe hotel itself is amazing but:
- Shower door did not close properly and therefore we got ”floods” everyday in the toilet.
- Mosquitos: I do understand that we are in a ”wild” enviroment but it was amazing every time we open the curtain of the terrace how were falling many mosquitos. During the night, going to the toilet was an expirience as well. Too many mosquitos...they should try to do something with this.
- Meals: they do not include beverage, its normal until you are charged 3'5€ for an opened bottle of water when they should serve or at least give the option to have it for free since the law says that.
- Checkin: the girl of the counter just told us, ”hey scan this QR code and everything is explained”, why shall I download an app of the hotel? is it so hard to explain just in few second all the activities of the hotel?
- Breakfast: Bakery quality worse than any other hotel I tried...
Speaking about amenities hotel is perfect, big pools, nice decoration, buffet was ok and it has direct access to the beach. Its a pity that the service is not at Barcelo level standards.

Almeria
|12.64km from city centerAfter a pretty hectic couple of months, I decided to book a solo trip to Spain and after some searching, this hotel was the best price. However, I now understand why the hotel was such a low cost and TUI listing the hotel as 4* is laughable. Some aspects of the hotel are lovely (my room was nice and modern and the pool area is really nice) but everything else is bang average. The staff’s downright unpleasantness and hostility to English people is also something that I need to mention. During this week stay I have lost count of the amount of times that I have been completely blanked by members of staff when trying to order food and drink to a point where I’ve had to get up from my table and walk over to the bar area so they physically cannot ignore me. Spanish people, however, are served at their tables and quite clearly treated a lot better. I have worked in customer service roles my whole working life, and know for a fact that it is not difficult to be nice to people - Particularly people like me who are clearly travelling on their own. Another absolutely mental thing that just happened was that a short time before me typing this, I returned to my sun bed after popping to the toilet (I was gone for a max of ten mins.) on my sun bed was a note warning me not to leave my belongings or else the staff have a right to remove them if they are getting in the way of other guests??? Literally all of the beds around me bar one are completely empty!! I have been on a sun bed in the same area all week so the staff know that I get here early and stay here all day, so to receive this note is frankly quite nasty and underhanded. What would you like me to do, wee in the pool??? I have attached photos to this review showing the note as well as the empty beds around me. Overall, weather has been fab and it’s been lovely to have a relaxing break away. I wish, however, that I’d booked the Barcelo next door instead. Do better Cabogata Jardin.
