I routinely stay at this property due to the outstanding service that I receive. I believe that the quality of my stay is a direct reflection of the quality of management. In this case, that proves (time and time again) to be true. All staff members that I have interfaced with (ranging from the front desk staff to the restaurant) have provided me with exceptional service, and I qualify that, in that I am a Marriott Titanium Rewards member, and definitely recognize exceptional service when I experience it. In terms of my initial statement, I have met the management of this facility on several occasions, and they have provide me with individualized attention -- down to the minor details! Service of this level inspires loyalty to the Marriott Brand by its customer base. Kudos to the Sheraton Raleigh! It's my "go-to" hotel!

Stayed overnight as we had a concert at Red Hat. The venue was one block away so the hotel was really convenient. It has a Starbucks that is attached and super convenient. There are lots of food options near by and we were able to walk down to the Natural Science Museum earlier in the day. It’s free to go, so recommend if you have kids. There are electric scooter scattered around too that you use via app. Nice to have if you don’t want to walk around. The only issues I had was that I checked in online and while my room was ready, my mobile key wouldn’t work, so I went back down and got a physical key. Not a deal breaker since our room was ready a lot earlier. Then the bigger turn off for me is that we wanted to let the kid play in the pool since they have a nice indoor pool, there was a big family down there just running crazy. They had the life preserver(the donut one) down and was pulling it around the pool and then there was food and trash all over the floor and stuff floating in the pool. I understand kids are kids but it would have been nice just to have someone check in on the pool area every now and then. The hot tub was closed off and drained, which was disappointing. Idk if it was becuse if Covid still buy was looking forward to that as well. All in all it’s a great place to stay though. Very convenient and the rooms are nice and we couldn’t hear anything in any other rooms.

Great location, convenient parking, friendly staff, a great kitchen, a wonderful breakfast buffet, a nice exercise room, and a top-floor bar/restaurant with rooftop seating. What's not to love??!?? THE SHOWERS! Ugh. Love this place and was prepared to make it my home-away-from-home as I am frequently in Raleigh with work, but the showers might be a deal breaker. It might just be me, but I REALLY don't care for the fact that glass showers are not fully enclosed. In a space which would fit a glass pane and shower door, there is only one pane of glass and no door to fill the remaining gap. This opening allows air to come in while showering and prevents one from staying warm unless you stand directly under the water. Maybe this is a strategy to keep folks from taking long showers or showering with others. It could also be the latest hip trend, but either way I prefer to a shower which does not let cold air in while I am showering. Other than the issue with the shower, this place is great!

Stayed here with my teenage son for a convention. Hotel was nice and clean in a great location - anything you want to eat was within 10 minutes or less walk on Glenwood, plus a little market and a Publix nearby. Even better is the hotel staff. Friendly, professional, and very helpful. We had some questions about the area and some other convention-related issues and they were engaged and creative with helping us solve those (not even related to the hotel). Super staff. Note: we did not find the area noise to be an issue but we were on the back side of the hotel and also stayed up late anyway. YMMV.

WORST HOTEL IMAGINABLE!!! I've put in multiple complaints to management about maintenance issues over the past six months that I've been living here and nothing has been fixed. I've thrown away a total of $300 in food because of refrigerator does not work, the stove Sparks when I put something heavy on it, there are bugs everywhere, the door doesn't lock so my children and I are exposed to anyone being able to push the door open and walk in at night (some random guy walked in on us twice! ), it was raining in my room because there's a leak in the ceiling an inch away from the light fixture, outlets don't work properly, freezer is not freezing my food, dish disposal / dishwasher doesn't work, takes 3 flushes to flush the toilet, they have no first aid kits if you get hurt, and they don't properly maintenance any of their equipment such as fire extinguishers or elevators (I have photos of out of date equipment) because my daughter's arm got crushed in the elevator door and nothing was done about it. I've begged to be put in another room, especially after living here for almost two years and they won't even comp me after everything. They lie to me and my daughter about having toilet paper and getting clean linen and soap is always an inconvenience with day staff including the gm. They sit behind the desk and gossip about guests and I overheard them talking about calling cps on people in the hotel multiple times. People smoke any and everything in their room regardless of the no smoking policy, homeless people sleep in the stairwells. Dog poop sat on the stairs for weeks! This place is the ABSOLUTE WORST! DO NOT STAY HERE! I feel like the south side would be a lot more safe than this place, and cheaper!

While on vacation in Raleigh, we decided to stay at the Residence Inn Crabtree valley. We have stayed here for short visits, but this was the first time we stayed for week. We are also Marriott Residence Inn fans since they allow larger pets, and we often travel with our golden retriever, so we have several other properties to compare with this hotel. The location is excellent being adjacent to the Crabtree Valley Mall with several shopping and food options, next to a bike/walking trail, and located adjacent to other hotels. Parking was ample and contained some covered parking which was helpful when it was raining. Plenty of hotel amenities but we only used the buffet breakfast and the guest laundry. Our main complaint was it appeared the hotel did not enforce the wearing of masks as vigilantly as other hotels...they had a handwritten white board which stated "please wear your mask." As a result, it seemed that we encountered more guests not wearing masks than at other hotels recently. Our other concern was that although their hot breakfast buffet options were more than other hotels, the guests were able to serve themselves. Since some of the guests serving themselves were not wearing masks or partially wearing them, this caused us not to get certain things on the buffet especially if the people who were in the buffet (just before us) were not wearing a mask and talking or even coughing. We thought that was a big miss on their part, even if the food was well prepared... All and all, we had a very positive stay except for the mask issue, which my wife tried to bring to their attention.

Saying that I am extremely disappointed with my stay here is an understatement. I unfortunately had to deal with Mara (I was told she was the General manager) and I was left speechless over how terrible her customer service was. I needed to extend my stay by one night and before I could even finish my sentence she rudely interrupted me by saying “we don’t let anyone stay here for free and you’re with Expedia and we don’t deal with Expedia clients. If you wish to extend your stay you will have to call them.” I was shocked. Obviously, I knew I was going to have to pay. Let me also say, I never ask to stay for free but had she let me finish my sentence she would have known that I was not even asking for that. I went back to my room called Expedia extended my stay and went back to the front desk to let Mara know that I had extended my stay and I was returning to the front desk to make sure my keys would work another night. Mara responded with “oh, I thought you were going to make the reservation with us.” To which i responded with “you literally just told me you don’t deal with Expedia clients” to which Mara (the general manager) responded with “whatever”. This is only one of the issues I dealt with during my stay here and I am writing to let other people know if they enjoy terrible customer service to stay here. Whenever I would ask the other front desk person for help Mara would interrupt and she was not even part of the conversation. Hoping this review gets her (Mara, the general manager) some training and some manners.

I've stayed twice within the past month at this Holiday Inn Express and both times have been nothing short of amazing! Nathan is such an asset to the hotel with his professionalism and great personality. We ended up staying a second night and booked a separate reservation for the second night and he called just to double check that it wasn't a duplicate reservation, which I thought was very nice of him to do that. Our room was very clean and had plenty of space for my mom, daughter, and I. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. It was very obvious that the hotel is taking Covid precautions seriously which I definitely appreciate. We felt very safe staying at this hotel as well and the parking lot is very well lit and offers plenty of parking spaces. Thanks again for another great stay and we'll be back in August!

Our parents house needed some renovation and they struggled to stay with us, due to all our bedrooms being upstairs so we wanted somewhere they could temporarily stay and feel somewhat the comforts of home, such as the ability to cook. I believe the ladies at the desk were Keisha and Chenek, from our first interaction, even prior to bringing our parents over, we could tell they were the nicest people you could have meet and we and our parents felt so welcomed and comfortable. Would recommend this Extended Stay for anyone who wants to feel as a VIP customer and not just a mere hotel guest.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was really nice, the front desk was really nice and sociable. My only thing is cleanliness. Normally I’d check a hotel bed before lying in it but I hadn’t this time. Before I left to checkout, I was looking around to make sure I had all of my belongs and I noticed that there was vomit smeared on the side of the bedding and a little bit on the wall and nightstand. It looked as if someone had started to clean it but had forgotten to get back to it. I meant to mention it to the front desk but I was in a bit of a rush to leave. Overall though, I did love my stay. It’s a very nice affordable hotel, I can tell it had been renovated.

There are many instances of care and concern that the staff at Hampton Inn and Suites at the Brier Creek provided over our 3 day stay. The first one was the free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The driver was gracious, delightful and shared that she truly loved her job at this hotel. On my arrival I was disappointed with the room, as I would be sharing it with my adult daughter and asked for a room with a shower curtain for privacy in the bathroom. I was told all the bathrooms were designed this way, so I began to unpack. Within 20 minutes the same lady who was my driver called to ask if I would like to move to the room for handicapped, which had a shower curtain. I was thrilled that my request was honored. This hotel has a wonderful breakfast, a gracious and helpful staff (desk and breakfast team). It has plenty of space for privacy, as in the pool area, or the rooms in the back of the hotel, or even the patios. There is always hot coffee available. A special treat while I was there on March 17th was free scones with butter. The amenities at this hotel seem to be endless, but I mentioned those that had an impact on me, and I am grateful. Oh, the hotel is a 1 minute drive to a huge shopping plaza, or a 5 minute walk if you want to "take the air".

Some things just go together well like Mac & Cheese, Christmas & Pine Trees, & the good vibes from the kind hotel workers feel the same. That's making me think of my email address about Gideons & tooth fairies: good housekeeping feels the same as a tooth fairy, & they do that well here. Good management & customer service feels the same as finding a Gideons Bible in hotel tables the same way a tooth fairy leaves a gift. Whether you're a devout religious worshipper or a thinker same as Penn Jillette thanking who gave him a Bible as a gift, the Gideons Bibles are a tradition that feels the same as a Christmas Pine to me: if it were not there the vibe of the hotel would seem as if it's missing an honest effort of keeping good senses around. Finding a Gideons Bible feels the same as everything else that goes together well, especially because Corinthians reminds me of an honest effort the of "The Golden Rule" & Good Customer Service senses: Corinthians says good customer service is "patient & kind", same as the saying "if you love your work then you will do great work". Glad everything goes together well at this hotel. Thanks.

The hotel is really nice - my room on the 8th floor was newly renovated, and decorated very nicely. Lots of space. I would have absolutely given 5 stars if it weren't for two things. First, the water pressure in the shower was so disappointing - barely a dribble, whereas most hotels have great water pressure in the shower. The second thing was, not having the ability to change the room temperature. I would guess that it was 72 or 73 degrees in the room, but I like to sleep with the temperature set at 67 or 68. The thermostat showed 60, but it was locked - no control over fan speed or temp setting. Otherwise, very nice facility - great indoor pool, nice gym, and very nice bar and restaurant area. The hotel is close to a very nice town center, with plenty of choices for restaurants. It's also a ten minute drive from the rental car return at the airport.

My first night in the hotel, I had to change rooms because there was dried urine in my bed that was not clean from the stay before. Two days later I had to call maintenance to have them fill a hole in the ceiling that was allowing wasp to enter as there was a giant wasp nest outside the window. I had to kill a bunch of bugs and two wasps. Finally, I was woken up at 4 o’clock in the morning because there was a rat in my room. I have audio video of the rat moving behind the dresser, and pictures of rat manure and chewed up food under the fridge and behind the dresser. I moved out the room and booked a hotel with a different company. When i retuned to speak to the manager, after calling Hilton Honors Customer Service, she had an attitude with me stating her staff didn’t find anything and said “since you’ve already called customer service, there isn’t anything else to discuss.” I have never had this experience in any hotel before.

My experience started when I took the wrong shuttle from the airport, which is easy to do when it just says "Hilton" on the back. I had a reservation at the Hilton by the airport and not the one at Raleigh North Hills. Once I realized my mistake on the way I thought no big deal of it and I'll just take the next shuttle back to the airport. After we arrived at Hilton Raleigh North Hills I asked the driver if we can go back to the airport (it takes 15 minutes and they run every 30 minutes). His attitude and demeanor changed instantly. He was really mad and said "I better get a good tip". I thought he was kidding at first but once we started back to the airport he said "that will be $40 to get you back". I told him that I refuse to pay him any money and to turn around so we can take an Uber. Back at the lobby I talked to the front desk and explained that we were just hit up for money by the driver. The apologized, said "we don't treat our guests that way", and offered another driver. They were unable to switch our reservation either which we would have been happy with. Already tired after a cancelled flight my wife and I just said we'll take an Uber to the other Hilton. On the way out I called the driver out, who was still fuming, and said that what he did was wrong. He came from behind the desk very aggressively in front of everyone in the lobby and was inches away from my face yelling "I DIDN'T DO YOU ANY TYPE OF WAY" still trying to justify extorting guests for money. After this situation we called the Hilton Raleigh North Hills again and the front desk attendants were so shaken up by the experience that they urged us to contact the General Manager Jordan. Jordan was apologetic and offered points on my account which we agreed to. However, only 10,000 points came in, which real monetary value is $50...only $10 more than the driver tried to stick us up for. This whole situation left me wondering what ever happened to Hilton. It felt like a Motel 6 having some thug threaten you for money and being compensated Hilton funny money points which will get you a room absolutely nowhere in America. Everything would have been fine if they just moved our reservation or drove us back without incident. Honestly I don't recommend this location and for me personally I don't think I'm booking with Hilton anywhere again.
