Hotels Near Podolanka In Prague
0.5km from PodolankaWe stayed in Bohemians for couple of nights for an extended weekend before christmas. The Hotel is located alongside the river Vltava and you can find it pretty easily if you use public transportation. There is a tram stop about 150-200 meters from the hotel, so getting to the city is really easy. You can take the tram number 17 and get off at the stop called Dvorce. The rooms are quite rustic, but they serve their purpose very well. Beds were comfy and big long pillows were really nice. Only small pet-peeve I had was the fact that the shower heads were quite small, but that's a really minor issue and only a personal issue for me. You can buy soft drinks, beer, cigarettes and small snacks from the counter and also some Prague souvenirs like coffee cups etc. Oh, and also oven pizza. Especially after a night out on the town, it's an easy way to get rid of that pesky lil' hunger that might sneak up on you afterwards. Special mention I would like to give out to the staff. Awesome, that's the only word that comes to my mind. They made our visit to Prague ten times better and I am truly thankful for them. Next time I'm coming to Prague, I'm definitely going to pick this hotel again. It's great value for your money and soul. :)

1.18km from PodolankaWe arrived at the Inos Hotel on December 4, 2018 and left on December 9, 2018. A small and family great situated hotel, Not in the Center of traditional Prague (Not in Prague 1 but yes in Prague 4) Six tram stations away from famous Carl Bridge, the Jewish court with all its beautiful Synagogues, a short walk from the Astronomy Famous Clock of Prague, how can I put it best well situated and fantastic hotel. Big spacious rooms with all amenities needed including a water boiling pot with coffe and tea sachets, a little fridge, all the amenities needed in the shower like shampoo, conditioner and more much more. A nice balcony and good fresh air. The hotel is based only on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfast is excellent, good coffee and well served, by far not a continental breakfast but a full and well assorted breakfast with different kinds of bread, vegetables, cheese, juice, sausages, cornflakes and much, a lot more. But the diamond of this hotel is without doubt the staff, 24 hours at your service smiling, with good ideas, helpful and willing to help/ I would like to say that Monica in the reception is the crown Jewel, she is always smiling helpful and attentive to every whim we had. The hotel is situated in a quiet surround but it has all what you may need at a short distance, like a good restaurant, a great Pizza, Shwarma shop, a mini market. the post but most important it is close to every kind of transportation you may need or wish to use. The tram system of Prague, one of the best I saw till today and I may say that I visited many places around the world. every minute or two you will have a tram arriving at your station. The hotel price is inside a budget, not to low but not to expensive. One comment I had, if you have a late check out and you wish to stay in the room, they will ask you to pay for a full day, from vast experience around the world, this is not usual, you usually will be asked to pay for 40-60% of the daily cost of the room/ For us this issue did not matter but I would recommend the hotel management to consider a change of policy in this issue. To summarize I will say: Excellent hotel Great Service and staff. Clean and with very spacious rooms. Very good situated. Great breakfast. Air conditioned rooms only in part of the rooms, ask for it if you need, we didn't need it. I recommend this hotel very much with all my heart, I am sure I will go back. Enjoy it if you go!
1.39km from PodolankaThe hotel is good and cosy. We stayed in the basement which normally wouldnt be that nice. But since the heatwave is over us, it was nice with some cooling, since there was no A/C. The wifi didnt work in the basement and nor did the tv. There was no handwash at the toilet only two very small shampoo package. And the showerhead kept falling all the way down. They have a pool that is not heated, which was great at the warm days. We got some chairs but only because we came late (around 19.00). It would be nice if they washed the pathway around the pool since your feet get dirty just after stepping out of the shower and before going to the pool. Which means that the pool have a lot of small floading needles ect. But its nice that the pool is open until late! The breakfast is not impressive but okay. The staff is polite and it seems like a cosy environment.
1.43km from PodolankaI chose this hotel from a list of conference hotels, and it was an excellent choice. Colleagues who had chosen other hotels in Old Town Prague were complaining of the noise on the streets at all hours. The Coronet was off on a quieter, less trafficked street, yet still a quick trip or long walk along the river to downtown. The front desk staff, especially Mikael and Jaroslav, went out of their way to help orient me to town, and made sure that I felt comfortable at home. I'd definitely return with family when I am back in town.
1.47km from PodolankaI booked U Divadla for me and my partner. It was relatively inexpensive for three nights stay. Our first impression on arrival, the reception staff are friendly and welcoming and speak multiple languages (including English). They are very keen to assist where they can. We used the lift to get to our room, it is wide enough for wheelchair users or parents with reasonably sized prams. Our room was immaculately clean and warm. A little dated, but this isn’t an issue and just adds to an authentic Czech experience. The beds are O.K. however they are twin beds and the mattresses can be a little uncomfortable but this we can cope with. Also, a little variety on the television for English speakers would be ideal, as the majority of channels are German, French and Russian; again, this isn’t a huge problem. Breakfast is good, with options for most dietary requirements. The hotel offers a late check out service and a free secure luggage room for guests who wish to explore the city was checked out and not flying home while later on in the day. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will hopefully one day return for another visit. TOP TIP: Uber is cheap in Prague, if there’s two or more of you and you’re going into town then consider it for getting into the City.

1.54km from PodolankaThe rooms and balcony were not clean, The staff opened the door any time without knocking and we had our money stolen from the room while we had breakfast. There were not cameras anywhere to prevent thefts even in the parking space

1.54km from PodolankaSecond visit to this hotel. Love that it is close enough to the city centre by short metro ride, yet not right in the middle of the chaos that surrounds Prague central area. The rooms are clean, modern and well maintained. The bathroom was spotless with good amenities and the wifi worked perfectly. All the staff (housekeeping, front desk, restaurant) were friendly and very helpful. The lounge area (although small) provided a lovely little selection of rolls, sweets and non-alcoholic drinks which was a nice added value to our stay. It will be nice to see the new lounge once they have completed renovations. Hotel looked after us very well and very much acknowledged IHG membership status which was lovely to see. It was perfect spot to watch New Years fireworks that occurred around Vyserhad. Would definitely stay again as great value for money, easily accessible location and lovely staff.

1.57km from PodolankaI stayed at Akat Pension in Prague, Czech Republic from September 5th through September 10th while I was in Prague playing lacrosse for Team NOAFE in the 2018 Frank Menschner Cup at LCC Radotin! The hotel room was nice! There were 4 beds, bathroom and shower! The hotel stay came with free breakfast every morning which consisted of Scrambled Eggs, Hot Dogs, Fruit, Cold Cuts Of Turkey And cheese, bagels, and orange juice. The dining area was nice! Akat Pension is very conveniently located next to the train station, only a 5 minute walk.
1.58km from PodolankaWe had an amazing stay in this really nice hotel. The super friendly staff did everything to make us feel comfortable. The view from the room was stunning with a full view panorama of Prague. Breakfast was nothing less than great, especially with tthe personal service and on demand fresh made hot meals. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Definitely our first choice whenever staying in Prague again!
1.62km from PodolankaVery good property located near Vysehrad castle with very good connectivity to the city. Very good quality room, kitchenette, bathroom and amenities. The staff was very cheerful and prompt to respond on our every request/requirement.
1.76km from PodolankaWe booked this apartment last minute and we wanted somewhere to stay that was easily accessible to the airport and Prague town center, clean, comfortable and quiet, and this apartment did not let us down. We booked the maisonette room that had beautiful view out the window of Prague. The Apartments are being renovated and we booked one of the ones that had been finished and it was beautifully done. Light, airy, clean, with everything in the kitchen that you could possibly need for a short stay. Bathroom had clean towels, toilet paper, fab shower with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Wifi (and we we took our amazon stick so we could stream Netflix so it was perfect.) It also has air con on both floors which is great. Short walk across the bridge to plenty of Bars/ boat bars/ restaurant plus number 12 & 20 tram right around the corner that will take you straight into Prague or the Metro also a short walk (yellow line) where you can zip in and out of old & new Prague as well as straight to the airport (I find the metro massively easier to get from the airport than a Taxi and loads cheaper) Some of the rooms are still being renovated in the building but the builders were very respectful & I can honestly say I didn't hear any noise from them. Owner was lovely and sent a message with how to get into the building and get the keys and was more than accommodating letting us leave our bags in the apartment block after check out and collected them later as we had a later flight.. Would 100% stay again and highly recommend. If i had to do anything to improve an already amazing stay it would be to pop a window blind in the upstairs windows as the light comes in early (I'm a really light sleeper) so I'd take a eye mask next time & it would be nice to have coffee capsules for a coffee for every morning per person (as there was only 2) ...However there is a supermarket around the corner so you can purchase some there or the machine is Nespresso if you want to take a few with you. There was no pot towel in the kitchen to dry pots (not that we used many pots and there is a dishwasher) and no little bin in the bathroom which would just be a nice touch when removing make up etc, I would have liked a full size ironing board as the iron was great but trying to use the little board was fiddly .. But like i said these would just be nice little touches to make the stay more comfortable.. Look forward to visiting again :) Tickets for metro are 24czk for 30 mns travel and 32czk for 90 min travel def worth buying a few of these at a time (as you only validate them when you use them) so you can get around the city super quick and easy. Would highly recommend Hergetova Cihelna restaurant overlooking the river and Charles's bridge...A little spendier perhaps but the service is lovely and the food is amazing, def worth a visit if you are after something romantic.
1.78km from PodolankaNice place to stay, close to the Metro station, pubs, restaurants, shopping centre is just around the corner. Parking was quite narrow and some people might have problem to park there without being afraid of their car being scratched
Hotels Near Podolanka In Prague Review
Unexpected surprise, recommended to friends traveling by train. The hotel is about 600 meters from Prague Railway Station and is very easy to find. The stylish and stylish facilities are very good and the service is great. The welcome drink will be given when checking in, and then the waiter will take the room and introduce the hotel layout. After the check-in, there is a small biscuit chocolate, and the room has a free bottle of pure water and a water boiler. The bed is slightly hard but the individual feels ok and the sound is good. There are not many types of breakfast, but the taste is also fine, but it tastes good, especially coffee. The best is the complete range of toiletries, including disposable slippers and dental appliances that are almost non-existent in European hotels. The bathroom products are NATURA BISSE, which is very good.
I'm not going to lie a big reason I stayed here was because of the amazing name but it's much more than a name this is feels like a hotel but with the prices of a hostel. I stayed here for a week in a 8 bed dorm for an amazing price. The beds were comfy with sockets and a light beside each one, the room was clean and comfy and the bathroom/showers area was top notch. It is over 7 floors with all types of rooms. There is an attached cafe and bar as well. There is also a small kitchen but I do emphasise the word small, I wouldn't bank on making any big meals. 1 thing to note is the WiFi. It is very quick but in the room (and also kitchen weirdly) however in the reception comfy seating area it's really terrible and barely works. I find it so baffling why they don't just add an extra router for reception only. Aside from that a great place to stay as for once comfort really doesn't have to come for a price.
Don't think about it if it's not much different from the nearby Novotel price. No boiling water, unique to Novotel. The room is small and Novotel is large, but there are few Chinese here and it is more comfortable. Breakfast is western style, look at yourself. The towels are very old, don't use them, but the beds are acceptable. Was my quilt cleaned at the time and asked to change it? Nearby transportation is not convenient, and subways and buses are only available within ten minutes. It takes about 20 minutes to go to the train station, but the farthest point to the attractions is 40 minutes away, and the main attractions are less than 30 minutes. There is paid parking. There is a Vietnamese restaurant across the road. I will definitely not choose this next time.
We have been there 4 nights on a family trip. The location was great just 20 meters from the tram station and you can go anywhere by tram. the staff were polite and helpful, we asked about how we can get to the hotel from the airport and they help us. Also, they helped about sightseeing in Prague. Furthermore, you can buy a public transportation ticket from the reception. The service was good, the hotel environment was very clean and breakfast was rich. I have a good memory from this hotel and I like to repeat this hotel again. I think it was the best between 3star hotels in the Prague. The only problem was that some renewal is required for the rooms.
My first visit to Prague. When we arrived we were a little sceptical the hotel would live up to the photos, but from the moment we entered we were blown away - so grand! Every room I glimpsed was gorgeous (am nosy). My room was warm and very clean, the older furniture reflected the style of the city and was very grand. Tea and coffee in room and a lovely big comfy bed. The bathroom was modern, fab shower and cleaned every day with fresh towels. The reception staff were great, always a manned desk and always friendly and helpful (my friends asked to change room because of some night-time noise (I didn't hear it) and they were given a new one immediately - the staff moved their things for them. The breakfast was good, loads of choice and all freshly prepared. Thank you Charles Hotel staff, especially Samir on reception who sorted my lighting out.
This is a large hotel with a shopping centre attached and the metro line is underneath. This came in really handy when going to the city centre to explore. The rooms are nice and modern and comfortable. There were major problems with reception, two tour buses came at the same time late in the evening and nothing was ready. The room cards still had to be done so there were over 80 people waiting in reception for 20 minutes waiting. Considering large groups are pre-booked and the tour director calls ahead for confirmation this should have all been done before anyone arrived. The good thing was that there are many lifts so people were able to get to their rooms without having to wait too long at the lift. The buffet breakfast is poorly planned, given the large size of the hotel. Everything is placed in strange sections and areas. Some things are doubled up. The pancakes are hidden in the far corner where no one can really see them.
