In the heart of Foggia about a half mile from the train station this modernized hotel/ B&B is a great place to stay. The staff speaks limited English, but I speak limited Italian so we are even. The breakfast is delivered to the room with a hot cappuccino or coffee. We accidentally ordered an extra yogurt and were surprised over the charge, but otherwise it was good. They gave a great restaurant recommendation

The value was undeniable. The quality, design, location and comfort was great, especially considering the price the property was charging (given that it was an off season and Foggia is not on the radar of many tourists). All the amenities and interior was top notch and the place can't be more central. I don't mind hotels (b&B's) that take up a whole floor in residential buildings, however owners need to be mindful of common spaces and how close they are to the rooms guests are staying in. The main complaint I have is the fact that the reception was literally one step away from the entrance to our room. First, it makes it awkward for guests to talk in the room as I am sure the receptionist can hear everything. Second, receptionist or other guest was watching a TV late at night and it wasn't helping us to fall asleep as it was fairly loud. I have a suggestion: get rid of the reception or at least limit hours to check in time - you don't need a 24 h receptionist in the property with 5 rooms.

Stayed her for 1 night should have been 2. We were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary but decided due to the facilities to move on. Parking had been confirmed by Booking . Com , but there was no parking available we drove around on the first night for almost an hour until we found a tiny space a few streets away from the hotel. Communication with staff was poor I had to use an app on my phone. We asked to speak to the manager and she asked us to cancel the 2nd night with Booking.com but there was no facility to complete this as there was no WiFi and we tried to call but on a Sunday were left on hold for over 30 mins so we had to pay for a night that we didn’t stay . Bathroom door didn’t close . No WiFi. No restaurant. Poor breakfast no choice ran out of fresh bread and fruit . No working air con . Modern hotel but dated and very tired Very dirty street and entrance hard to find. Recommend you stay somewhere else

An old property very near to Foggia railway station this hotel offers a reasonably good stay for the money spent. Big rooms but not refurbished properly and one may struggle to get any TV channels other than Italian. But what made a difference was the staff who are extremely professional and caring. The breakfast was great with variety of Cakes and breads. Convenient for a night's stay for anyone who reaches very late at Foggia train station.

PROS (GOOD): Friendly Staff A short walk from Train+Bus station Still Close to Centro Room nicely furnished and provisioned. Adequate soundproofing on windows. Friendly staff/management. TV+Wi-FI= Great! Coffee/Tea making equipment CONS (NOT SO GOOD): At times, there may be external noise from loading trucks and 'people managers' waiting in parked cars (music blaring), or late-nite/weekend customers/staff exiting the restaurant across the street. Also, THUD, THUD, from external store stocking? Truck doors? Elevator doors? [source unknown] Shower a bit small for a person of wide stature to navigate (tall=OK, bathroom size=OK). NEUTRAL: n/a SUGGESTIONS: n/a

I have travelled far and often and have stayed in many a five star hotel, but rarely have I seen such honest commitment as I did in Bella Napoli. My wife and I stayed during six nights with our son and 8 fellow travelers for the European Junior Fencing Championships. Long enough to get a proper feel for the place. Plenty of time to fail, but hey did not. Always there, always helpful. Serving impressive breakfast with several cakes and coffees and juices. And savory stuff as well: bacon, scrambled eggs, cheeses, ham. They rarely have that in the Mediterranean. The hotel serves a set meal in the evening (order early in the day!). It was good honest food and cheaper than the ingredients alone would be at home. The location is central. We could park in front of the hotel. They make sure nobody else parks there. Did I already mention that it was very, very clean? Remember: this is not a many star luxury place. Simple but adequate rooms, with flat screen and good Wi-Fi. No swimming pool or wellness thingy of course, but honest quality makes you feel sooo good.

This is a good value hotel in the centre of Foggia. The room decoration was weird but the bed was comfortable and bathroom fine. Noise from the street was evident but was generally quieter after 11. Just take earplugs if you are sensitive to noise. It’s not too bad and I heard no noise from the other rooms. My main problem was that I arrived about 2pm, during the ‘pausa’. I had read that the reception desk was staffed all day. This was not the case. I had to ring the number on the wall of the building and wait 15 minutes in the rain for someone to let me in. I used Italian to comunicate with the staff so I’m not sure if they speak English. I don’t think so. Breakfast was fine and this hotel was exactly what I was looking for when meeting up with relatives in Foggia. I would probably stay there again because of the price and central location but I would make sure they knew when I was arriving.

If Al Giordano B&B had followed through with their emailed promises, then the stay at their establishment would probably have been very good. However, from the onset, it was a terrible experience. The B&B's reservation page stated that check-in ends at 17:00 daily. So, being a responsible traveler and wanting to avoid problems, I emailed them slightly over a month in advance and advised them that "my train...arrives at 17:19. Will this be a problem for check-in?" Their immediate reply was, "Good morning, No problem, dont' [sic] worry [smiley face]." When I arrived by taxi from the train station, the main door to the building was locked, and there was no response to the B&B buzzer. I waited, and buzzed, and waited, and buzzed, and finally made calls to my spouse who was also traveling but in another part of Italy to obtain the B&B's phone number. After several attempts to reach them, someone finally answered and indicated that he would come to the B&B. I continued to wait on the street door stoop until another building resident let me enter and then sat on the floor in front of the B&B's second floor door. Finally, Valerio arrived and checked me into my room at 8:10pm!!! The room was actually very nice, clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. It had a narrow, but usable, balcony which was a good extra. However, because there was a restaurant/bar directly below, the drunken conversations and noise was annoying. I had been given verbal directions for where to go to get the second "B" of B&B. But when I arrived and explained that I had been sent from Al Giordano B&B, they advised that there would be a charge for anything except a roll and coffee...wonderful! To top it off, checkout was exactly at 10am. Even though they were three hours late in letting me into my room, there would be no extension of the checkout time, so I dragged my luggage around Foccia until my 1:22pm train to Lecce. This property deserves a rating of less than zero, but in fairness, the room was very nice, albeit expensive, and the location quite central to the city center.

We spent just one night in Foggia, as we were passing through on our way to the National Park in Abruzzo. The B&B was very nice - room was good, bed was comfortable, bathroom and shower were good, and it was on a main street so easy to find. The town of Foggia didn't impress us, unfortunately, and the area it is in wasn't the greatest. Because we arrived on Easter Monday, we had a terrible time finding a restaurant for dinner. After wandering the town trying to find something open, we ended up having our dinner right next door at the Chinese restaurant. It was actually good, although the menu was all in Italian and the family who owned it couldn't help us translate what things were. So eggrolls ended up being involtini and dumplings were ravioli, etc. Rather a funny experience. The breakfast at the B&B was adequate and the person working there (owner?) wasn't the friendliest or most helpful but it could have been a language problem. The price was very good for the value of the room.

Stayed here during Easter weekend and the staff was very accommodating. They really made an effort to help out. Would recommend for these reasons, along with the fact that it has a great location. Also, there is a very good restaurant right next door.

Basically, I never thought you could get a hotel in Italy that gives you that Blackhawk down feel. It’s exactly like Mogadishu: the streets are littered with garbage, roads have pot holes the size of footballs not to mention it’s the Italy’s capitol of car thefts. The hotel; lets put it this way. Mogadishu yet again, ants crawling in the bathroom, airconditioning either doesn’t work or it’s so loud you can’t have a conversation. The lobby has 32 degrees C, service is... what service? Breakfast; a crossaint and coffee. Don’t ask for more. It’s not there.
