The hotel facilities are relatively old. When checking in, the hotel said in advance that Ctrip bookings cannot be used for Sands membership points, and Ctrip has to work hard. The main building is good, with three columns supporting a large ship. The sound of the air conditioner is loud. The sky garden waiter on the 57th floor said that it was going to rain and the seats outside were closed, but there were obviously many people sitting, and after doing it, they didn’t say they couldn’t do it. When you go out to take a taxi, there are not many cars, you have to wait, and no one is responsible for the taxi. It should not be a world-class five-star hotel.

We were blessed to be upgraded to the Finlayson Suite which is very spacious and has a great view. The living area is cosy for family watching TV together given its space and ample seating with curved sofa. Useful to have basic cutlery and plates for eating in. The service staff especially Dyan and Ramesh were helpful and friendly. Lots of eating places around including Lau Pa Sat which is less than 5mins walk away. Raffles MRT is literally one min from the entrance of the hotel. Only setback was there was no parking available if you need to drive.

Since Ritz Carlton is such an iconic hotel in Singapore, we love to spend our staycation here. Booked 2 rooms but were not allocated on the same floor. The room is well-maintained and the swimming pool/jacuzzi experience is very relaxing though our stay was during public holiday. Swimming pool is 90-min slot. One can also walk into the spa to enjoy the jacuzzi. Only book room without breakfast as we want to explore the Millenia Walk/Marina Square are with plenty of food options. Of course, must bring bath bomb to enjoy the bath tub experience with the view of Singapore skyline.

Great stay! Bought this during the 1 for 1 promo Place is clean and vibes was great with plenty of greenery inside the hotel itself didn’t get a good view, may be due to the price i purchase at. but room is clean and tidy. come with a bathtub. newly renovated. Hotel was just opposite of suntec city But due to COVID restriction unable to use the link bridge to cross over. had to either use the marina square link or make an entrance to promenade mrt and cross over to suntec city Facilities wise, gym was great. they had spin class and yoga classes during weekends to participate in with class pass. the pool was a little disappointing, it’s smaller than the condo size pool the only fascinating thing was the mineral pool, pretty calming to look at with the special lighting. overall a pleasant stay

One of the best staycations I ever had with top rated service from their housekeeping and restaurants. The suites were huge and super clean (they clean the room twice a day!) and most importantly, my kiddos loved it! Only downside would be that the kids pool is kinda small.. would have been awesome if there was a fun pool with slides and floats or a jacuzzi heated pool as the water was freezing cold. 😁

Although the hotel is in the alley, in fact, the location is very good, and the surrounding subway is very convenient. It is within a half-hour walk from Sands, Chinatown, and Merlion. The decoration style of the hotel has a modern Baroque style. The entrance made a porch, so don't be afraid to see the embarrassment of the room when the waiter delivers something. Because the ceiling is high, I don't think the room is small. Singapore hotels check in at three o'clock, because you need to wait early and check in at two thirty. The waiter has already delivered the luggage to the room in advance. The TV opens the opportunity to display the welcome words at the beginning of the guest's name. It has the style of a five-star hotel, all of which can only be controlled by an iPad. The call front desk is an iPhone, and mobile wifi is also provided. Channel, there are many blockbusters, of course, only English, but the sound is on the roof, so the effect is great, the minibar is free. You can also use the iPad to choose the pillows you like for the waiter to send them, paying great attention to the customer experience. The bath water was too hot, and it was completely cold. It just happened to be washed. The toiletries are complete, divided into men and women, with full details. The pool on the top floor is not large, and there is a bar that can hold queues. The surrounding buildings are all high-rises, so you are basically not afraid of being tanned by swimming. Basically Europeans live in and English is required at the front desk. But the concierge has a great Chinese language, and also helps introduce the tour routes and likes one. If you are not willing to walk, it is recommended to ask the hotel to call taxi. Grab is easy to use, but because the road is closed for barbecue in the evening, the part-time driver of the grab does not know how to get to the hotel lobby. Taxi is more professional. Opposite the hotel is a food stall with various styles of food and good taste. There is also a Chinese food stall five minutes out. There is a wide variety of foods. You can also take out the food with a grab. The downstairs is a 7-11, which is also very convenient. . For young people, it is recommended to choose this hotel. If you are bringing children, you may need to book a larger room. The normal room is a king size bed and there is no place for an extra bed. The environment of the restaurant on the first floor is very good. It is more like a clean bar. I did n’t try it. The nearby restaurants are very convenient. It also fits my Chinese stomach, so the hotel ’s diet is not evaluated.

Location wise is very convenient. Bus stops everywhere, clarke quay and funan mall nearby and most importantly, for all the supper freaks, there are 7-11 nearby and also restaurants. Cleanliness was super bad. The remote controls, table, counter, sink, cups and spoons were so dusty. I can swipe in one finger and accumulate all the dust. The carpet had a huge stain near the fridge and a funky smell. The fridge was musty and dirty but bed is super clean. I guess it has been long since someone used that room but I expected it to be clean as it is a standard procedure for Housekeepers to clean up the rook before guests checks in. For service, it was neutral. Did what I requested and gave me an expected service but did not exceed my expectations. I requested to check out 2 hours later and they did manage to extend the check out. However, on the last day of our stay, we got locked out of the door because the staff forgot to change the system on the door. So our time was delayed. Lastly, after checking out, there was no closure of service from any of the staff so we just left. For amenities, there were no towels in the toilet and the TV couldn’t airplay/ mirror screen to my phone even though the feature was available on the TV. TV channels was super slow. Other than that, everything was provided.

Just 2 days before my check-in date, I've already given a 5 stars rating! Reason? I received an email from the hotel to do eCheck-ins! Upon doing so, I also received another email for booking of breakfast, pools, gyms etc! OMG! How many hotels have this super convenient and how many of you had even queued from 3pm for hours for check-ins? This is my first and the best hotels experience even before I step into the hotel! THIS IS REALLY AWESOME! Oh, I haven't started to comment on my staycation yet ah... Yap, not yet, and on top of that, an sms was sent a day before allocating a much earlier time(I don't wanna share the exact timings but you'll never imagine! 🤭) to avoid crowdings. And can you imagine 1 day before my check-in date, I've completed all my eCheck-ins, breakfast, gym and pool bookings! On the check-in date, I just scan the QR code which was issued and it took less than 5-10mins for the staff to prepare the room cards for us to start our staycation! Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful everywhere! As for the room and breakfast, I'll just let the photos do the talkings! 👍

Was very unlucky to have had to experience the scheduled building outage during our stay, which was only communicated to us after we made a booking. There was no indication of the outage on their official website (which we checked before booking on Trip.com) and nothing additional was done other than to advise guests to explore the area. Toiletries were 2 months past expiry! Everything here is done manually, you'll have to call reception to book the gym/pool or for housekeeping. Requested for items using their in-room mobile phone which has an app for housekeeping, waited 1.5hr and nothing came. Doubt anyone checks the system. You'll also have to wait quite a bit for requested items even if you called reception. Staff were friendly but there's room for improvement on the service. Their "Enjoy unparalleled service..." statement on the official website was definitely not what we experienced. The pool only has about 4 sunbeds due to social distancing measures so get there on time if you want a good spot. Upside: Spacious apartment, lovely view, comfortable bed, pretty well equipped kitchen. The in-room mobile phone contains guides for the appliances. There's a door separating the kitchen and bedroom which will help keep the cooking smell at bay. Lots of food options around, with Fairprice and Don Don Donki nearby so you can buy whatever ingredients you prefer to cook in the apartment. Several cafes located in the building for your coffee fix. Just a tad troublesome to have to keep changing lifts to get to the retail space.

Supposed to stay in JW, due to covid-19 SHN been setup, was offered to change to St Regis instead.. Very posh hotel, nice classy layout on interior and exterior.. For good relaxing, quiet ambience.. Loved the swimming pool water so cold and cooling.. Bulter services are great and prompt.. Had a dinner at Yan Ting, the food and services are great.. Breakfast at Brasserie LS was so so, alittle disappointed with food and services, especially services dont know who are order takers/servers/runners, we wanted some refill on juices, took quite awhile for someone to attend to us, we actually try to enquiry with 1 server who was nearer to us, she was trying to help by not disappointing us, only then that we knows she cannot take our order and someone in coat came in a not happy tone and ask what we want, we were stumbled by it.. Maybe they should get a ipad or ordering system on each table or 1 group area have 1-2 order taker hanging around, so as to reduce confusion or crowd managing accordingly..

The hotel is located in a good location. There are many food centers around. If you want to do something for yourself, there are supermarkets and food markets. It is very convenient to buy things. It is also close to the subway. The hotel is very clean, and the public bathrooms are also cleaned. There are two floors with ladies-only bathrooms. Because of the special period, there are few people staying in the store, so it is not crowded.

Everything here is perfect! We booked it for a mini-moon right after our solemnisation and was greeted with warmth and surprises! They surprised us a bottle of champagne and a cake for the night! The service crews were super friendly, thoughtful and always with a smile on! Everybody here was really attentive and the service provide were very guest focused. The breakfast served was delicious and hearty. We were also served with evening cocktails that comes with light bites and unlimited cocktails to taste! The in room dining we ordered was great too! We could dine at the balcony and it was really romantic. The overall environment here is serene and pleasant that allows you to recharge and relax. It made us felt like we are overseas in a resort. A big shoutout and thank you to everyone at The Barracks Hotel for making our mini moon memorable and for all the warmth and hospitality during our stay here. This place has very, very good customer service which i must first commend in the first sentence of this review. I was there for 3 days and two nights and there was the same staff throughout my stay, day and night. But he was friendly, helpful and jovian. It actually seemed like he was the one who did absolutely everything in the hotel. Be aware that this hotel IS in the red light district of Singapore. My room was a single bed room, and the only single bed room in the already small hotel. It was unfortunately crawling with ants along the wall, a tile or two had chipped or fell off. The wall hiding behind the toilet door wasn't to die for either, the room didn't feel complete, but it was livable. I did get the opportunity to go into the other rooms, the double bed room and family room. Those were definitely more decent, they felt cleaner and were better maintained. They even had a cosy feel to them. It comes with breakfast in the vicinity's small kitchen. Don't expect a wide spread or a 4 star hotel breakfast, but it was pretty decent for it's standard. Bread, a fruit, protein (eggs, tuna or others), rice or porridge. There are plenty of food around the area, hawkers mostly. But there are three mrt stations within walking distance, and Paya Lebar Square is about 900m (12 - 18min walk) from the hotel. In all, it isn't a place for fussy stayers. But if you're pretty easy going, don't want to pay premium prices for an accommodation and get your own room and toilet, then one can definitely consider this place.

I've been to this hotel several times. The customer service is usually good. I extended my stay and moved to Cabin M. But I had a very unpleasant experience this time round with the live chat officer Claude. I understand that late check out is based on availability. But Claude was being unreasonable, telling me that the hotel is fully booked when the room I stayed in was still available on trip app. He also said there is no late check out on Sundays but I usually get complimentary check out atleast till 12.30 on my previous stays on a Sunday before. Extremely disappointing and thus I've to give 1 star for the service where I usually give a 5.

We booked the family room. It was really compact, but our kids were very happy cos they had to experience the bunk bed. They even refused to leave and cant wait to get back to the room cos they just love the bunk beds. However, if u are staying for a few days, it might get a bit uncomfortable and squeezy because the room is really too ‘cozy’. We felt that the placement of the plugs were not strategic - they were very far from the main bes and in between the bunk beds, may not be safe as it is near kids and they may play with the plugs. It was hard to charge our phones while resting on our bed cos the plugs were too far… also no bedside table or shelf to put our phones or even remote control... Table is the kids table so adults have to sit on the floor while eating with kids. Perhaps not so suitable for those who may not be able to sit on the floor for long periods or pregnant mums. However, location is very very convenient. Food is just a few steps away and no worries about it. Parking was ok too, night parking was affordable - maybe try not to park too long if u are planning to drive here cos no complimentary parking. But we managed to get parking space in front of the hotel so that’s a bonus for us (although we had to make a few rounds for ppl to leave before securing a parking lot. Due to being near a main road, it gets very noisy at night with cars speeding, so light sleepers may need to consider some ear plugs? Otherwise, bed is comfy but abit too high - not suitable for old folks or heavily pregnant women. :) Overall, for a one night stay, we still enjoyed ourselves and enjoyed the hotel. Not much facilities, so it’s really more of a hotel to place things and then get out and explore sg. I would still return back because it’s really a nice hotel, convenient and affordable! 👍🏻 Staff is very friendly too!

The four of us stayed here on our visit to singapore. The front desk lady charged or room deposit instead of merely taking a credit card number to charge later in case of damages (this was against policy I discovered later). We stayed in a room with a queen bed and two bunk beds, ensuite bathroom, plus a small balcony. The room was clean and comfortable - all features functioned properly. The location is far from the main areas of the city and on the other side of singapore from the airport. A subway station is about 10-15 minutes walk away. A bus stop is directly in front of the guesthouse. It's a solid 30 minute trip away from little india or little china. Being a hostel we had concerns about noise at night but were not bothered by any. We did not utilize the breakfast option but did eat at the restaurant across the street and found it acceptable. On checkout I found that they could not refund the deposit. After working with the manager over the next several days she refunded the deposit to me via paypal instead of a credit to my original card. That was not desirable at all, but was the best she said she could do. On the whole this was a nice stay, I only advise you to be cautious about your room deposit.

Simple yet clean. More to improve such as having a set of clothes hook in bathroom and the right wardrobe cabinet door when open, it will hit on the bathroom light switch (maybe having a stopper may help) which makes electric arcing sounds in the switch. During this pandemic, a quite abit of reluctant on using the cups provided in the room. Eventually i used it after washing it with boiling water before making coffee. We used to be regular guest to this hotel when it was still under the management of the previous owner. We go there regularly on weekend because of its good location, good service friendly staffs, clean and reasonable comfort provided. This is the first time we check into the hotel under new the management. We look forwards to a good new experience under the new management. Unfortunately, we were both very disappointed due to the following reasons which I personally thing the management to look into. 1. The mattress is very uncomfortable as we can feel the spring the moment we lay on it. The previous mattress was alot better. 2. There's cleanliness issue as there's small cockroach found in the room. 3. The room water heaters water is not hot at all. We informed the staffs and changed to another room but still there isn't any different. We ended up having to take cold shower at night. We sincerely hope the new management can look into it.

Check in was a breeze and I loved that the access way into Bugis Junction is kept open. Enjoyed the meal at Chikuyotei and the additional 10% off given to hotel guests. Was promised an anniversary gift by the reservations department but none turned up. Online photos shows the rooms having a nespresso machine but turns out they were only found in the expensive rooms. Disappointing but did not let it bother us too much. My only gripe during my stay is that the air con in the hotel is weak. The curtains were drawn and the toilet door was closed and yet the cooling temperature was nowhere to be felt. Ihad it set at the lowest temperature and yet was perspiring. I called up the front desk to send maintenance while I was out of my room, not sure if they came. I returned after and the air con felt cooler or maybe because it was night time. Perhaps Intercontinental Singapore is one of those hotels with a thermostat for show and the guests don't have any real control.
