|1.53km from city centerSome of you who are reading my posts do know, that I am staying at different kinds of hotels while traveling. Sometimes I’m staying at 4* hotels. But out of my view this isn’t a 4* star hotel at all. I'd spent the Christmas Weekend at this hotel. The staff at the reception desk was friendly and helpful. The room was good and clean. The bathroom well equipped with some extras like herbal soap, body lotion, and what all of us need just in case, we forgot it at home. What I missed in the information map at the room was any information about the hotel. No brochure about the hotel, where to find the exercise room, the massage room, solarium, cosmetic salon, nothing! I had to find out everything by myself strolling through the hotel. No information how someone from extern could call me at the room? No phone number of the room, nothing. The minibar was well equipped but no wine glasses, just two small drinking glasses – a no go for me. Why should I drink wine out of a small water glass? The exercise room is small and cramped with fitness equipment, on the other hand, the Solarium looks nice, exceptionally clean and is placed in a comfortable room. The rate per five minutes is 5 CHF, unfortunately you must insert 5 CHF coins, instead getting prepaid chips at the reception desk. Really disappointing was the dinner -except the nicely placed dinner tables! Reading the menu card I’d expected a fine dinner, worth of a 4*hotel – what I’ve got wasn’t worth naming it a fine dinner. The beef tartare was very cold, prepared in advance at didn’t look tasty at all. The so-called potato soup with truffle didn’t have any taste of potato, no hint of truffle – maybe some truffle oil? No decoration like parsley or whatever – blank! The main course was filet mignon with Ratatouille and cubed potatoes – the filet was perfect; the Ratatouille was hidden below the filet – why? The cubed potatoes crispy. The desert was called “Hot Love” = vanilla ice cream with hot berries – served in a small drinking glass… what a surprise – the same small glass as the ones in my room. For dinner I’ve ordered the white wine from the menu card – but got a Rosé wine. I’d asked the Service why I’ve got a Rosé when ordered a white wine. The answer was -look at the menu card the winery offers Rosé – I was perplexed - why is white wine written and Rosé served??? Overall – I’d expected a 4* Star Hotel – what I’ve got? Not 4*!

The environment is also true, there are small squirrels jumping up and down next to the mountains. Intercontinental in Davos is a rare hotel, so breakfast is basically the Chinese world (tour group). Catering has also taken care of the tastes of Chinese people. The hotel’s children’s paradise is the most child of all the hotels in this trip, and it’s a great time to have fun. The rooms are great, the spacious terraces, and the best of the stars. q When staying, the hotel presented a cable car ticket for hiking. Although there was light rain when the weather was dark the next day, it was still fun. The top of the mountain can be hike, you can ride, and there is undecided snow. When the winter arrives, the mountains are covered with snow and you will experience the joy of skiing.

|0.37km from city centerThe hotel is good located. Near by a bus station. Hotel is new and modern, however we have seen a lot of things which needs to be repaired. Parking is expensive with 24 euros per day.
Smell in our room was terrible on arrival. Until I noticed that in the shower the cleaner removed the water outlet so that the bad smell could come in. Only one of the restaurants was open and not much of selection is possible. I would not recommend the restaurant. Waiter said to my daughter that the spaghetti from kids menu is too small and he will make it bigger, then charged 28 euros instead of 18. The Spaghetti was tooooo Al dente. Most of the waiters are unfriendly and let us not feel welcomed. Overall: we will not book this hotel again.
My friend got a handicapped room even he booked the higher category. It seems they had no other room but they did not tell him during checkin. When he asked later they offered another room after 2 days. We complained that we don't like the room but they said many people like it.. Hey, hotel management, when somebody pays so much for a hotel who is not handicapped he don't like a shower curtain instead of nice glass walls, he don't need open space concept cabinets, he needs normal cabinets with doors, he may like to sit on the sofa.. But there was no sofa.
Heating? Not on by purpose. Only when we complained they turned the heater on after 1 day. Instead they provided mobile heater . We talked to other guests who had the same issue. 5* hotel?
The pool temperature was way too low. The noise there unacceptable due to the design which is simple painted concrete walls. Spa are is 3 star only. Nothing which let you stay there for long.
Breakfast was quite good we enjoyed this the most.
To leave the hotel everybody is using the way over the ski room...terrible layout. The layout is not well planned.

|0.18km from city centerThe hotel is located in the middle of the two train stations. It takes about 15 minutes to walk, but there are buses that can get under the hotel and buses are more frequent. Good breakfast, cereal coffee, etc., you can make waffles yourself, if you want to eat fried eggs or boiled eggs, you need to tell the staff. The hygiene is very clean.

Located 5 mins by walk from Davos Platz, Promenade and connecting buses within the all Klosters area. Train station and Jakobshorn accessible with ease as well. Family room is perfectly sufficient for 4 persons, providing everything you need for comfy stay and sleep. Overall really the great value for money ratio, happy to come back again …

|1.26km from city centerThey were already several times in the hotel's camping and now the first time in the hotel room. Very nice and maintained hotel with great steam sauna and friendly staff. Drinks from the minibar as well as tickets for the local bus were included. It had everything we needed to recover for four days and to be in the wellness area. We're happy to come back!

Davos Klosters is an amazing place, and perfect to go discover yourself and find a beautiful secluded bbq on a water stream with a few deer watching you from a distance.

|1.27km from city centerPerfect location! The rooms were spacious, new with very high 4 star rating. Service was also 5 star. They had challenges with the warm water system during the stay, which was a problem. But, they handled it in a perfect way. They gave one day for free and also invited us to a mingle/drink in the lobby. So, all in all we had a great stay. The only thing that the hotel lacks is a SPA. Else all would have been 5 star.

All the staff in the main hotel were friendly and efficient, even though they were often in demand from the many groups staying there. The bar was really nice with a competetive price list (by Swiss standards) and served with lovely nibbles and a smile. There was a free concert every early evening on the road above the airport and it was lovely to see local families and visitors enjoying the music. The location was excellent with nearby shops, transport, the art gallery and lovely walks and climbs. There were some minor negatives: the English TV channels were not working but it was nice to have the chance for conversation and reading - my advice is to take an extra book! We should have reported it but didn't... Some cushions on the sofas would be nice too.

|0.89km from city centerIn Switzerland, there are swimming pool saunas and fitness hotels. I have never seen this price for so many years, and it is still recommended in tourist resorts. Breakfast is simple, but you can also drink tea for free if you are not sure. Here is the closest to the ski resort, there is also a nice Swiss restaurant nearby. I can recommend Restaurant Gemsil. If it is a morning lunch afternoon tea, you can find it in Bäckerei-Konditorei-Café Weber, which is a very beautiful Viennese pastry shop. I will see it on the way to the ski resort.

The check in is from 15:00 , we came at 16:30 and we must wait for our room without any apologize or compensation. Check in was terrible, I didn’t get any informations, I must to ask where and when is breakfast. I didn’t know nothing about dinner, spa about anything. The dinner and breakfast was really good and staff was very nice. But after our stay I wrote to hotel because I forgot my cosmetic bag in the room and I still didn’t have any answers!!!

Visite du ”spa”...a piscine d'eau froide et un sauna fermé (un type très désagréable qui passait m'explique sur un ton ferme que je dois réserver mon entrée au sauna pour y aller). After a day on the trails and having passed 300km by car, we decide to eat at the hotel restaurant. We ask the reception a cheese-future, and we are answered (even a cold in a very unpleasant way) that they do not do this here....decisively, it continues...We are going out of this bad hotel to find a good restaurant where we can The hotel is very comfortable and welcome. The walls are very fine, like paper, no isolation, impossible to rest. I decide to call the reception after having patiented 1 h anyway. The receptionist told me they're going to make noise all night and what's to do with. I'm over and I just want to be able to sleep, impossible, mix with earlocks. This night tape will continue until 3h30 a.m.!!!! A shame!!! In the morning, after sleeping just a few hours, we can't have a very bad breakfast in this hotel, and then I ask the manager to explain my dissatisfaction when check out. His answer: ”Ah? We have made noise? Really?” I ask you, it's surprised. In short, we're kidding the world, No excuse, no commercial gesture. I never been in such a bad hotel. To ever escape. The hotel has a nice hotel, and it is a good hotel.

|1.18km from city centerThe hotel is in a superb location for skiing considering the walk to the lift is literally 30 seconds. It is fair to say that the hotel is in the heart of Davos Dorf which is the calm and quiet side of Davos. For the lively part and the good after-ski places you have to take a bus for 10 mins to Davos Platz. The spa of the hotel is nice and the rooms are decent size. The only complaint is probably the service. Staff are friendly but the service is very inefficient and slow. For example, if you order off the menu for breakfast (like an omelette) be prepared to wait an inappropriate time or even not get your order.

|0.64km from city centerWe can only recommend the Concordia in all respects, even if it is a older construction year. We were stayed there in the course of a booked train trip of a well-known Swiss company and were very satisfied. Rooms in top condition,(our even with large balcony), cleaning and equipment without any injury. , and even if the bathroom has a visual size, which is certainly due to the construction year, it is clean and sufficient. The reception is very well placed and always very friendly and helpful in all questions about the hotel, the city and all questions about the booked trains. Thank you especially ☆ Special is also the free parking in the hotel in the middle of Davos!! , which is very well organized by the reception. ☆ Breakfast and dinner are over-average and varied for a 3-star hotel. The staff is very good and careful, as all staff in the hotel are very friendly and premature, the family atmosphere in the house has very well been enjoyed. ☆ A bus stop is just in front of the hotel and with the integrated gray lockpass is the entire surrounding area and the Davos Square station in a few minutes free of charge. ☆ Overall, the Concordia Hotel in Davos is even a small secret tip, as it is only so that it is turning from hotel palaces in the city where at high prices no much more comfort can be offered, except perhaps a parking space for high parking fees. ☆ Our recommendation is certain that we would book it immediately. Thanks to the entire team for a great week in Davos ☆☆☆☆☆
