We booked for one night only during our trip around Italy and we were pleasantly surprised by the location. When we arrived, we noticed that a wedding was going on and upon check in we asked about the wedding. The person at the front deck gave a warm welcome and informed that the wedding would finish latest at Midnight and we were worried that the music would disturb us. The Manager at the reception, seen our worry, informed us that he would upgrade our room to an upper category and on the opposite side of the wedding so we would not be disturbed, allowing us for a later check out the day after as well, which we could not take advantage of, unfortunately. It was a very nice and caring touch which we appreciated. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We slept very good and in the morning we had a delicious breakfast on the terrace with a stunning view on the courtyard. The staff was very kind and caring, and too bad that we could stay only for one night, but we will for sure be back if we go in the area.

Looking for a quick 1 night stay while travelling through Brescia, I chose the hotel thanks to its 4 star description. It is definitely NOT a 4 star hotel, 3 star at best in its heyday.. The room was pretty dark (not like in the publicity photo) and so couldn't really tell how clean it was. The booger complete with nose hair stuck on the wall above a bed is a good indicator though. There was a fairly musty smell to the room as if it hadn't been aired in ages. The whole room was very old, the newest thing was the paint job, everything else was from the 80's at least. We had a room facing the main road, and the flimsy windows couldn't block out the traffic noise during the night. The air conditioner was the type with a manual fan speed switch, which of course had the knob removed, so you couldn't regulate the fan speed, so if its stuck on max. u freeze. Bed comfort was ok (for a 3 star). Breakfast has 2 options - quick croissant, cappuccino, and juice, or full buffet. Unfortunately not much more offered at the buffet, only found bread, jams, cereal, and yogurt. No cold cuts or cheeses. I also chose the hotel because it advertised secure underground parking, but when I asked about it, I was told to park outside the front of the hotel..

Avevo letto delle recensioni molto interessanti. Ottima colazione abbondante, ristorante, belle stanze, moderno... Scelto per una tappa obbligata in zona e perchè sarebbe un 4 stelle. La prima impressione è spettacolare. Molto bella la hall, moderna, due ascensori, diversi piani, tranquillo, parcheggio davanti. Camera all'ultimo piano. Media grandezza. Ritornava sempre a quella preimpostata.

With family we traveled to Monaco and decide to stay for night in this hotel.. in reception I asked that can we field all registration with passports a little bit later, because our infant really crying and very hungry. I asked please give me the key of the room for my wife and infant baby that she can care for baby.. Georgia (name person from reception) told me NO!!! So we waited with crying baby when Georgia field in computer details from all passports also infant as well.. it’s really not humanly. After few minutes gave me the key of the room and I payed for the room. The room price was 102€ but she charge us 303€. Georgia special did this.. also gave us not working room key.. Georgia special did this. I came to reception again and told her that room key not working.. she made face like- I don’t care and and demanded the remove of the car from reception parking area.. it’s normal?! After two times unsuccessful to enter in the room.. we decide leave that hotel.. I hope that will not happens with someone and persons like Georgia never works reception.. room cleaners have better etiquette.

I chose to stay at the Centro Paolo VI when I booked a trip to Italy at short notice, inspired by the good reviews on Trippadvisor. My experience was predominantly positive. Room was clean, with good air-conditioning. The furnishings were simple. The bed was, perhaps, a little too firm for my taste, and a bit low for a bloke with a bad knee. :-) Lighting in the bedroom might have been a bit brighter. The bathroom was clean, although, as mentioned by some other reviews, the shower was a bit tight. The building is a bit of a mixture. In part, it is a grand baroque palace, but other parts are much more functional. It has clearly been in institutional use for a long time. I gather that, before taking on its present function in 1975, it had been a seminary. It remains a church foundation, and functions mainly as a conference centre, offering meeting rooms for far more more people than it could accommodate overnight. Its lifts, as remarked in some less positive reviews, are decidedly old-fashioned but were perfectly adequate to get me and my luggage up and down, which is, after all, the only thing you need a lift to do. So far as food is concerned, breakfast was served in buffet style, with staff bringing coffee or tea to guests at their tables. Weather permitting, breakfast can be eaten outside in the garden. What was less helpful about the very obvious conference centre purpose was the situation about evening meals. For the first four evenings of my stay, I ate in the restaurant. Choice was a bit limited, but the food was tasty and served by a friendly waiter. On the fifth night, a Sunday, I cheerfully set off to the restaurant, only to find it closed. Not only is it always closed on Sundays, it was now closed for a summer break until 28 August! This is NOT notified on the web site, nor any any notice displayed in the building. This may make perfect sense for a conference centre in a period when nobody is arranging conferences, but is awkward for holiday accommodation. The building is in a quiet area, but is served by buses on neighbouring streets. Brescia's complex one-way system means that, for example, the 12 from the station stops one street away at the front, but the bus going towards the station stops a couple of streets to the rear. It is only about 5 minutes' walk to the biggest cultural site of the city, the Santa Giulia Museum, and other places of interest are within walking distance. Staff were invariably friendly and helpful. Incidentally, if you are going by car, booking directly with the institutions gets free parking in a safe, enclosed yard.

Been here before, however same shortcomings every time. Rooms accumulate a lot of dust every day even if ventilation is shut down. Breakfast OK. Diner has only a few selection options, but very worthwhile. Communication with staff is everytime problematic allthough very nice people. Maybe the Italian way. Good free parking. The location is very strategic even if at first impression you think it is not. Plenty gas stations around the corner. The shopping mall own the road freccia Rossa this year was almost dead. Eat at hotel restaurant and don't try find better outside, waste of time. Especially the Elnos shopping center. Probably I return here every time.

I had a room with a dream view of the doom. The room and the bathroom I found relatively old. The air conditioning had not even much performance against the heat. At check in I asked about scheduling a massage for the following morning. Was told they no longer offer them. I asked about the pool & jacuzzi -was told they are 20 euro-somehow I missed this in hotel info…. But! It’s 10 euro because the Turkish bath is broken🙄. At 10Am I head to the reception desk in suit/cover (no robes)to ask where jacuzzi is? I’m told it must be reserved!? And its avail at noon (check-in gal said it was open at 9🤔). Not booked but they have to prepare it…ie turn on the heat? I’m very disappointed. What poor hotel practice to advertise massages and pools and jacuzzis and then they are basically unavailable. Finally no coffee in the room -bought a tablespoon of coffee for 2 euro only to drop it trying to fumble w/ the keycard which although my fault, further made this whole morning a disappointment. We are here 2 more nights & if our friends in Brescia hadn’t suggested this hotel- I would change. Finally beds are very hard.

The location is an easy solution to go downtown by public transport: the bus station (bus line n.10) is in front of the hotel and the underground station (Ospedale) is just a few minute walk. The room was comfortable and large, and so was the bathroom. Our room on the 4th floor had a screened terrace with private table and chairs, next to the swimming pool, open in summer only. The room was really quiet, no noise coming from the roads nearby. Breakfast was fine with a fair offer of sweets, cheese, eggs, charcuterie, juices and yogurt. No fresh fruit nor vegetables were available, we would have loved it. Finally, the hotel staff was kind and helpful.

We were welcomed immediately by the girl at the reception that was really good to give us all the explanations needed for the two days and on how to move to get to the center, cave parking included in the very convenient price, hotel in a good location to get to the center walking (20-25 minutes) and 100 meters from the metro stop that brings you directly to the center in 10 minutes, good and abundant breakfast even if the 1 January were not present because the cornets were to that who said the servant the bakery was not open that day (I can't see why they were not seen that we paid as the other days), this was the only bad note, spacious room with a so large and full bathroom (we had Sky in the room), perhaps a refreshment of the rooms would not be bad, as they are a little date but well equipped.

Infidel, unscrupulous, unscrupulous and unrealistic. We booked 5 nights for my family who arrived abroad. Because his flight was one hour late, it wasn't time to check in by 23:00. We thought he lost the first night but for 4th floor he can stay at the hotel we paid. The result: the hotel cancelled every 5 nights (which were not refundable) without even warning us, knowing very well that we will lose almost €370. We don't talk about the fact that they didn't care about anything that their guest would stay without accommodation for all the days booked (and the room was still available next day on booking). The booking answered us that we should call the hotel and they can solve the problem but instead of helping us, they started insulting my husband. I was totally disturbed by their attitude and how they talked to the phone. The lady's word from the reception was ”NOT ROPS THE CARTONS”. Now you think if you want to enjoy the services from such a structure. It's not a hotel but a crazy house!

The hotel, a few minutes walk from the station along the underground passage, is located directly at the exit. The window of my room on the 10th floor looked directly onto the tracks and I didn't hear a sound, not only at night, but also when the normal and intense circulation of trains resumed.
