Beware of consumer traps Before I checked in, I used to see this hotel with a lower rating, mainly because the hotel has some hidden charges, such as slippers. Since the reservation is non-changeable, I can only pay extra attention during the check-in to prevent extra charges, but I did not expect to be charged, and I was charged directly from the credit card after leaving the store, because the extra bed was used. In the absence of an extra bed request from the hotel, the hotel has already prepared an extra bed in the room, and there is no indication at the time of check-in or on the extra bed if there is any extra bed. Anyone staying in the room will be charged an extra bed. Imagine staying at the hotel without being reminded, how come you think of a bed in your room that is going to be extra. . . However, when Ctrip's service staff received my feedback, I contacted the hotel for the first time. This made me very happy and saved my travel feelings. In addition, overall, the hotel facilities are at the upper-middle level, the location can be walked to and from the city center, the parking space is sufficient, the staff service is also enthusiastic, but considering the events I have encountered (never encountered in other hotels) I have been to this hotel. I don't recommend this hotel. If you must stay, please be extra careful.

I stayed here for an overnight last week. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. First thing to note was that there was no check-in reception...it was all done online with keypad codes advised to access front door and room. Our 2 bedroom /2 bathroom unit was huge with a large kitchen/dining area, lounge space , 2 good sized bedrooms one with a queen and the other 2 singles and also very generous bathrooms. The amenities were basic tea ,coffee and sugar but there was plenty supply of plates and glasses etc. The other thing to note is that part of your tariff goes to one of around 6 charities Change have offered choice to you. That is a fabulous idea and worth supporting this property alone. It is just out of city central blocks but very easy walking distance to shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Give it a trey and you wont be disapppointed. rtya wrfiuge

Launceston very quiet on a Monday night and lots of places to eat not open. So ended up at the Star Bar. Place was almost empty, but staff were very friendly and welcoming, beer was good and food was surprisingly good. Mushroom Bruschetta was especially tasty, steak cooked nicely, tasty veg and excellent mash. Would definitely recommend and eat there again.

Very old hotel, very suitable for a family of three, there is a small compartment for children to sleep alone, Figure 3 is the street view across. Hotel facilities are average, because the ancient corridor is relatively small, breakfast is simple, toast cereal milk juice, fruit, but compared to most hotels without breakfast is quite good. The room was booked almost two months in advance, and a twin room was requested. The result was equivalent to a family room, a two-meter bed and a small bed, which was very pleasant. The hotel is in a good location. It is a relatively well-known and well-known hotel in the area. There are many restaurants around. It is only a ten-minute walk from the supermarket. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and the bathroom is separated from the wet and dry. Unfortunately, the sound insulation is average, sometimes the sound of the next door or the corridor can be heard. Overall a very satisfying stay.

Great location in the center of town, close to the gorge which is a great hiking spot. The rooms are very spacious and the hostel is very clean. My one and only complaint is that there are no security lockers, so nowhere safe to put your valuables if you’re traveling with a computer, camera, etc. Otherwise great place to stay!

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Mews Motel. Sunny was very welcoming on our arrival allowing us to check in at 9am! We had a family room which was two separate rooms - plenty of space for my son and I. It is a heritage listed building with lots of character. We stayed 9 nights with the rooms cleaned daily. My son commented it felt like we were staying at someone’s house and how comfortable it was. A short walk out of the CBD and plenty of other restaurants and Coles very close by. Would definitely stay again. How often do you buy chocolates to leave at your accommodation as a thank you?! Thanks guys!

Fortunately, I booked a 6-person room for a double room with a private bathroom. It is normal to live in Australia, but the toilet is not locked and it is intoxicating. Launceston itself is relatively small, and the location of the hostel is generally okay. There is a parking lot next to it, $6 a day, no money after 5:30 in the evening until 9 in the morning. One day is calculated as calendar day (not 24 hours)

Only stayed the one night and having been burnt with hotels in Launceston many times of the last 3 years I wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary at the price I paid which was around the $80. Had just come from Scottsdale where I stayed in an old pub that was grossly overpriced and overated. Prepay here at Adina though and you get a better deal. The room was clean and neat, had a nice little balcony overlooking the city, spa, bar fridge, heat pump and al the normal things you get. Short walk to all the restaurants in Charles and George. On the 3rd gloor so appreciated the lift as most places don't have that. My only gripe. The shower is over the spa and no problem getting in but once the spa is wet it becomes very very slippery and with high sides is hard to get out. Other problem is the floor has been cleaned I suspect with a detergent type cleaner and becomes super slippery. This is easily fixed by using a commercial floor cleaner like View Quick and putting rubber mats with suction pads in the spa Meals are not available on site but a 5 min walk puts you in the cafe precinct and the choice is unlimited. Will definitely stay here in future visits.

Good location, five minutes to eat in the city center, this is very important. Lancet is not big. Almost all shops are closed before five o'clock in the afternoon, and there are no places to eat even if they live far away. The bedding was clean and the bathing facilities were good. The only flaw is the noise of the fan.

A shop that the husband and wife jointly run is difficult to find at the beginning of the road. It is actually on the side of the road. Because the hotel on the other side is a bed and breakfast, but the experience inside is very good. The landlord’s own breakfast can go out and see if it will go out. Great choice

Stayed for 3 nights in a Gorge river view room with balcony. So nice to have a sitting area with two chairs instead of the standard one. The weather treated us kindly, so able to make good use of the balcony views. Bedding very comfortable and lighting in the bedroom very good. The lighting in the bathroom however missed the mark. It is excellent for the day time, but a bit of a sensory shock during the night. There is one control switch for all the bathroom lighting and an inability to dim. The bathroom otherwise was spacious and the separate toilet a good addition in the design. Had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant which was a little underwhelming in choice, and up there in price. Location is good, with restaurants nearby and easy walking distance to same and the wharf area for Tasman river cruises. For families there is a great playground next to the hotel, plus BBQ facilities. Staff were very friendly and attentive, and Archie a bonus.

We were lucky enough to stay at The Florance and use the Conservatory space to host a work function. I was absolutely thrilled with the building, it has so much character & is just stunning. A hidden gem in the Launceston CBD. The Conservatory space was perfect for nibbles & drinks with lots of space for dancing, but also many options for seating, with couches & chairs available. The spacious bathroom was perfectly positioned for guests also. We self-catered our function, and the adjoining kitchenette was perfect. We also utilised some bedrooms, which were beautifully styled. The bed are super comfy too, and electric blankets always get my vote!! Can’t wait to stay again. A huge thank you to Kate who was extremely accommodating and went above & beyond to ensure our night was simply perfect. From our first site visit we were completely smitten with the location, we are absolutely thrilled and had the best night ever!!

The hotel is in the middle of the mountain and has a good view of the city. There is free parking and it is suitable for people who drive by car. When the road up and down the mountain is steep, you need to drive carefully. The brother at the front desk was warm and polite, and the bed was comfortable. Is the typical INN, simple facilities, no kitchen, don't expect too high. Walking down from the hotel, it is the city park. It is just an ordinary street park with a large area, nothing special.

A modern, recently updated apartment in an excellent location. The Launceston town center is a easy 5 minutes walk away and the very popular City Park is a two minute downhill walk. The apartment has a very functional kitchen plus a spacious lounge/dining area with a large screen TV. The bedroom is separate from the living area and has its own flat screen TV. Very helpful and pleasant host who provided us with approval to park early in the under cover garage. Entry to the apartment is via a keypad lock on the front door which is accessed via a flight of external steps. Only negative was the lack of microwave dishes to allow for cooking/heating of food. (Plenty of saucepans though to use on the electric stove top).
