Well if you are searching for a great hotel, then don't stop here. However, if you want a clean small room to sleep in while traveling, at a great price, then this is a good place. The price was very reasonable, although there wasn't breakfast or shampoo etc. But hey, it depends what you want. I would stay here again if I just needed a shower, clean towels, friendly service, and a comfortable bed.

We found this hotel and decided to stay because the price. We were very happy with this decision. It was well worth it! The room was a nice size. I brought my two children and they had enough room to not get on each other's nerve. The breakfast was great. The setup was nice and it was delicious. We got a chance to sit in the hot tub and pool...very relaxing. The location was great because we were close to Target, Wal-Mart if we needed to grab something and quite a few food places. Great hotel option if you need to stay in Olathe!

From the first phone call, customer service was exceptional. Lisa was even nicer in person than she had been on the phone, placing us in a room that perfectly met our needs. Owner checked us in and was sincerely appreciative of our business. Nothing fancy but property has been freshened up in the last couple of years with new furniture, flooring & granite counters in the bathroom. Our room, a standard double, was very clean. Fridge/micro and flat screen TV. Pillow cases & bedspreads had been pressed & had crisp creases & beds had actual fitted bottom sheets. Generous supply of bright white towels. Free wifi with ample signal strength. Light continental available in the morning but if you want a proper breakfast try the nearby 56 Diner. The one thing they lacked was a luggage cart in the lobby. If you want more amenities, be prepared to spend almost twice as much. There are other hotels in the area that will gladly take your money.

Attending our daughter's club volleyball tournament in near by Gardner, KS. 2 nights. Front desk was extremely polite and helpful in giving directions to the tournament site. I am an early riser and found myself having a lengthy conversation with the night auditor. He was very friendly and we discussed volleyball for about 20 minutes. He went so far as to look up the tournament info on the web and knew what club we represented. Very engaging conversation. The breakfast was not to open until 7am but the woman setting it let our teams come down early and prepped some items ahead of time so we all could make the 8am start time at the tournament. This happened both days. Marriott typically does a good job with training but these employees took it up a notch. Would highly recommend this Fairfield to anyone staying in the area. Overall rating of 9. Clean, friendly and most of all accommodating.

More than 20 family members descended upon the Kansas City area this past weekend. My wife and I had stayed at this Residence Inn before and truly liked it. I made my reservations, and sent the link for this property to all the relatives that were planning to attend our "Family Reunion." Boy oh boy, the staff at this Residence Inn totally Rocked It! They were exceptional, friendly, and truly went way beyond the normal service one would expect at most hotels. The GM was very visible to all during our stay. He was extremely interested in any and all situations...a truly hands on manager. His friendly demeanor transcended to each and every member of "his team!" Team is a very apt description for how every person employed at this amazing property! Our accommodations were spotless and very well maintained. The complimentary breakfast had a very large quantity and very tasty "offerings." Two in our group were gluten intolerant...but again, this staff delivered to the max! The dining room supervisor made and baked specific (and was told very delicious) pastries each day our group was there. She even cooked special sausages for them. Our entire group were exceptionally pleased as to our treatment and accommodations at this Residence Inn. It was agreed by our family, that our next family reunion will be a return visit to KC, and stay at this Residence Inn. Residence Inn Olathe...we Salute You!

Stayed at the Courtyard while visiting family for Thanksgiving. It was nice to come back each night to a clean, quiet room after spending time at a busy house with loud kids. They did a great job on property with COVID protocols. All staff did a great job of distancing and mask wearing and there were a lot of hand sanitizer machines everywhere. I used the gym twice and it was spotless. I need to give a shout out to Eric who worked at the bistro. Pre-COVID, I travel well over 100-120 nights a year and stay at some very nice properties on vacation and he provided some of the best service that I have had in a long time. Thank you, Eric, for making our stay that much better! We will come back to the Courtyard the next time we visit family in Olathe.

We stayed for two days 8/14 - 8/16/20. We really enjoyed all the aspects of our stay. We received all the Hilton Honors Diamond benefits. Customer service was excellent and interaction with staff pleasant as all were helpful and knowledgeable. Bed was comfortable, even though the mattress was an older version of Hilton Garden Inn. We still had a great night sleep though both nights. Tv’s were high definition and good reception, but not the newest model. My guess they will probably replace mattresses and tv’s at some point. Indoor pool and hot tub were enjoyable and well maintained. Property and our room were very clean. We had a couple minor issues in our room, such as coffee maker wasn’t working for example, so I called the front desk and spoke to an assistant general manager Hanna, who resolved it for us in no time. This was our first time at this property and based on this stay, we would recommend it to others and would return.

We are a family of 8 with mostly all young children and had a hard time finding a hotel reasonably priced with connecting rooms. I called many hotels in the area and a bunch also told us they can’t guarantee us connecting rooms as they are first come first serve. We called here and they were more then happy to help us. They even told me which rate to request when I called to book one of the rooms with points which saved us a lot. Check in was easy even though our room was not ready by 3 pm. This was not as big of a deal since I knew we needed specific rooms. We were very pleasantly surprised to find out rooms with two queens in each and a fold out sofa in each. There was more then enough room for our large family between the two and the second bathroom was great. The beds were comfortable and I enjoyed the variety of pillow softness. Some of the furniture was scuffed up and didn’t seem to have been updated with the hotel update but it wasn’t a big deal as it was all functional. The rooms were clean. A fridge in each room was very welcome. We took advantage of swimming during our stay. The pool is nice and big and even though it isn’t super warm as a heated pool it was better then a non heated pool. It was also clean without being overly clorinated. The kids had a blast. There were plenty of chairs and towels everywhere. We took advantage of the free breakfast and it was actually pretty good for a free breakfast. There was a large variety and it was nice saving some money on breakfast. The attendant made sure everything stayed stocked and fresh. I’d also like to say I was very impressed that a member of the management team went out of their way to check on a problem we had with a booking with the holiday inn vacation club. My complaint to that was sent to him and he checked on us and asked. He also made sure our stay here was comfortable. We will probably stay here again next time we need somewhere to stay when we visit family

Stayed two nights at this location and was not disappointed, but I do have a few suggestions. Pros: 1) Hotel is easy to access, being just off the highway exit on K-10. Take the Ridgeview exit, even if Garmin tells you to take Woodland. 2) Hotel is very new and pristine appearing. Styling is modern and attractive. It’s only six months old, and is very well-appointed with lots of places to charge electronics. 3) Has microwave, refrigerator, and adjustable flat-screen television. Sofa folds out into a bed, though the extra bed can’t be screened off from the main bed. 4) I really liked the shampoo, conditioner, and lotion they used. It comes in full size bottles in the shower, which I generally prefer, rather than dealing with the tiny bottles, although that did lead to one of my problems. 5) The free breakfast is better than average for most hotels, featuring buffet style eggs, sausage, bacon, egg white omelet, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, yogurt and milk, cereal, juices, breads, and coffee. They do not have potatoes, if this is important. They do not have a waffle iron, but the do have a pancake dispenser. I did not try this one, as I have not been impressed with the quality of pancakes in the past, but if you have children, they would probably enjoy watching the pancakes being made. They also generously offer to-go bags, in case you need to eat breakfast on the go, which I find spectacularly generous. Late afternoon they also put out a display of Otis Spunkmeyer cookies, and the coffee from the morning stays out in the urns during the day. There is a hot water dispenser, so hot tea is always available, even if the coffee gets cold. 6) Fitness room is fairly spacious, and there is also a laundry facility, which I did not use, but assume is coin operated. A load of laundry goes for $1.75, and I did not see dryers, but maybe the same machine does both. 7) There is a pretty comprehensive market place with snacks, microwaveable foods, and convenience store type items, such as medications and condoms. The hotel does offer complimentary toothbrush, razor, and comb on request. 8) Hotel was comfortable and quiet. All of the staff was pleasant and welcoming. Cons: 1) Biggest one for me was the absence of free bottles of water. It’s available in the marketplace, but it seems to me that if a hotel is generous enough to offer breakfast in to-go bags, a couple of bottles of water in the room would make good sense. Even a cooler in the lobby area with a filtered water dispenser would be a considerate addition. 2) The bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the shower are usually a plus for me, but in this case, the bottles are covered with an opaque label, and the bottles are bolted in, so they can’t be lifted to see if they are full or not. In my case, I ran out of conditioner, and if you have hair that runs down most of the way down your back, in the shower is not when you want to find out that you are out of conditioner
