Dijon's IBIS is simple and clean, and there is a platform in front of the window downstairs to feel the leisure time! Very close to the train station, it is especially convenient to go out. It is also very convenient to go to the city center, and it takes less than ten minutes to walk.

The hotel room is very large, the design must be beautiful, and the breakfast is also very delicious. It's a typical American breakfast. It's very good to have a menu to order according to your taste. The house has a sofa. It's very considerate to have a waiter come to the room to open the sofa and put it on. Beautiful surroundings of the hotel

The best hotel in the whole itinerary, the location is super good, it takes less than 5 minutes to get out of the station, the room is large, you can open boxes in the middle, and the bathroom is also relatively large, that is, there is no electric heating in the bathroom. But the room is heated and the bathroom is not cold. By the way, there is also an electric kettle! Comes with coffee for brewing. With such conditions at such a price, it is very cost-effective!

Absolutely amazing! On the small road in the old town, it is very easy to find. It is an old house with a history of three hundred years, and the red door is very eye-catching. A total of four rooms, we lived in Room 3, very spacious, is a suite, 2 large and 1 small, the sofa bed in the living room and very comfortable. Although the appearance of the old house is very historical, the interior decoration is very new and modern, with a spa bath, separate toilet and bathroom. There is also a swimming pool that can be used, which is great. The owner has a dog and a cat, very cute, breakfast is also very good, is the high-end B&B, there is a large floor-standing bookshelf on the side of the stairs, you can freely read, but unfortunately all French-based, can only look at the picture The atmosphere is very good, quiet and tidy. When leaving, the owner knew that we were going to catch the train and sent a few bottles of water to us. Because it is an old house, there is no elevator, the luggage needs to be taken by myself, the owner will help, but it is an old couple, I am really embarrassed.

The location is very good, just next to the cinema in the city center. Going left and turning for 5 minutes into a gate is the main attraction of the Old Town. We were ‘unlucky’ to get room 115, which together with room 116 are two rooms which are located in the ‘preserved and authentic’ part of the building. Basically, they kept the original (noise carrying) wooden floor but covered it with carpet. You could hear even the most silent person walking through the hall as if he was walking next to your bed. So, make sure to request another room if you are getting this one! But, the rooms in general were big, clean, good bed, good WiFi, heating worked excellent! The hotel is close to everything, friendly staff, breakfast was ok, apart from the coffee… but if you take the espresso and add the warm milk separately, you get an ok cappuccino. Otherwise it seems the machine adds the chocolate powder, of which I am no fan! But if you are, you will enjoy it for sure… Overall: I am sure there are people having better experiences twitch the hotel than what we had, and even with a different room, we would most likely try a different place. The coffee being the deal breaker… :-0

The city loft gets one point for its truly perfect location in the city center of Dijon. Other than that our stay has left us with a very bad scar due to the unhelpful staff - to put it in words apt for general readership. What happened? We forgot our youngest daughter’s baby blanket in our room and only noticed when she asked for it when we were already on the motorway heading out of Dijon. We immediately called the hotel to explain what happened and that we’d be coming back to get it. Once there we were informed that the room had already been cleaned up and nothing was found. We couldn’t go and check again because the room had been given to new guests. We asked if they could ask the new guests whether they’d kindly allow us to look, but the manager didn’t want us to do that and said he’d go himself, quickly returning and informing that nothing was in the room. We asked to speak to the housemaid who cleaned up our room, but she apparently had left and was not reachable for us. We asked if we could check the laundry if by chance the blanket had gotten in there and offered to do this by ourselves and in a discrete location. At first we were allowed to review a few bags but then told we could not proceed and that the only thing left for us to do is to wait that the laundry was reviewed at the cleansing company and we’d be informed if anything was founds. My daughter cried until we left France and me heart broke for her loss, too. Up until today she asks about her blanket, but even though I have followed up with the hotel in the beginning (and they have never called to give an update whatsoever), all my hope is lost. I was very upset with the lack of empathy by hotel staff and their unwillingness to let us at least use all recourses possible for regaining the baby blanket. Yes, it was our fault that we forgot it in our room when checking out. But if we had gotten time and access for a proper search, we would in the end have taken it home with us. It’s 2020 now and I waited until year-end 2019 for this review because I was still hoping that we would get “this phone call” telling us the blanket was found and would be sent to us (we’d happily pay any service or shipment costs). But, alas, it didn’t happen. :/

A dangerous experience was encountered at this hotel in the heart of the Old Town of Dijon. At 8 o'clock in the morning, my child and I were still asleep. The child dad woke up and looked at the mobile phone in bed. Suddenly a male door didn't knock and opened the door directly. It seemed like asking what the sentence, the child dad said no, he left, we They also blamed each other for two sentences saying how they did not lock. But it is still strange to think about it. I tried it. Even if I didn't lock it, I could open the door without being outside. The person must be swiping! This hotel is too evil, think about the reminder posted in the elevator, saying that there are more thieves in the breakfast area, we have more defenses, and take all the valuables, including electronic products, downstairs when eating breakfast. After breakfast, the child dad went to the parking lot to get something from the car. I took the child back to the room to pack the luggage. Being closed, suddenly it was a direct opening of the door! I have never encountered such a thing in a hotel that has lived in so many places for so many years. I was still ringing. The man asked me in English if I needed to clean the room. I also shook a piece of paper with a printed form on my hand. It was estimated that it was the room number. I said that I don't need it. I honestly said that I checked out. The person smiled very warmly. I locked the door and I felt that I was not feeling right. Ask the waiter at check-out, is this normal? She said helplessly, no, not normal, because no card can not open the door, she said they will check. We didn't say anything, and quickly left. Imagine what happens if no one is in the room but there are valuables in it. If someone is quietly coming in at night, what is the situation, the more I want to be more and more stunned. Also, is this happening in every room or only our room? It feels like we only have our room, because we didn’t hear the movement next door twice, how do they know our stay so accurately? Even according to the conspiracy theory, will they know that we Chinese people like to bring cash so we specifically lock our room? !

Considering we were told there were no family rooms so had to book two for the four of us (including young children) and the bar food didn’t really cater for one requiring a gluten free meal I’m still able to rate this hotel very good! They staff helped us find a nearby restaurant with marked up map, we had a delicious meal within 5min walk. Car park is well situated. The extra touches kept us entertained- free table football, free arcade game and music instruments including a guitar made this a pleasant over night stay. Good breakfast, though limited for a gluten free diet. Staff all pleasant and helpful. Rooms clean and provide just what is needed.

We looked at all the pictures on line and chose the large room in the other building that has a little kitchen. It was very spacious, well-equipped and comfortable in a charming ancient building. We booked this hotel as stop on our way back to the Netherlands. The location is quiet and located in a what feels an industrial area. There was enough free parking space available and we also enjoyed the quick dip in the pool after a long day in the car. Since it was already dinnertime we were the only guests in the pool while people were having dinner at the terrace near the pool. The water was cold but ok. One of the corners of the pool was broken which was one of the signs of being dated. The reception handled the reservation quickly and we got our room key quickly. The elevator is quite slow and some paint damages shows it is dated. The room was large enough for us 3 for one night. The beds were soft but also old and you lie down in a pit. Clean sheets. In the room we found only one power outlet and that causes difficulties if you have to charge multiple devices. We were lucky we brought a power extension cord/block. Bathroom was ok, shower in a bathtub. Toilet paper located a bit weird compared to where you sit. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. We had 3 meals with meat, two glasses of red wine, a carpaccio with a lot of pesto and some vegetables for 66 euro. The meat was quite fat and the frites got quickly cold. So in the end; it was a good hotel for one night. We paid 71 euro for the stay. Room was quiet, we could sleep well.

A very nice hotel, perfect to overnight when travelling in France by car. A very kind woman at the reception welcomed us and gave the keys to our room, which was clean, quiet and nice. But one thing we didn’t understand: Two doors. One to the bathroom and another to the WC, where it didn’t exist any basin to wash the hands. The Internet was free but unfortunately it was not possible to connect to the network by some reason, so we had to use our mobiles as modems. We liked the room as well and also the parking lot in a safe area close to the hotel. The hotel itself has no restaurant open in the evening but close to the hotel you find three different restaurants to visit and a McDonald’s. The breakfast was unfortunately very poor but expensive. If you book the hotel, try to book without breakfast and then, in the morning, check the breakfast buffet and the price. If you don’t find it “OK” for the price you have to pay, go to another place.

We used this hotel as a basic overnight on our trip to Italy, it was the second cheapest (like wine, always avoid the bottom of the list) so we were expecting very little. There is loads of parking, and it looks appealing on approach, always a good sign. We were greeted by an exceptionally friendly and helpful host, who moved us to a ground floor room without being asked, once she saw I was using a stick. There are food and drink vending machines in reception, but no restaurant. Our room was spotless and smelled clean, with enough space for an overnight stay, and charging points for everyone! The bed was exceptionally comfortable...or we were over tired! Breakfast is cheap, but plentiful, and the coffee machine produces a good wake up juice! There is a very good restaurant next door, so nobody needs to go hungry or thirsty, but if you have a picnic, there are tables outside for you, and you will not be alone! We are planning on using this as our regular stopping point now, as we can’t imagine finding any better without spending significantly more money!

We stayed for one night on the way home from the Alps to break up our journey. The location of the hotel was really good for this. Easy and short diversion from the main road and opposite a hypermarket to top up fuel and down the road from a Boulangerie Ange, which suffices our breakfast needs. The beds were clean and comfortable. The room however, was incredibly small. We had a triple, which was literally three single beds right next to each other. Only one had space for a small shelf for a coffee cup next to it. You climbed into the other two beds from the bottom of the bed. The layout of the room means that if someone needs to pop out to the car or to get a drink, your beds (and whoever is in them) can be seen by anyone in the corridor. The single wardrobe could just about accommodate our three outfits so it's fair to say that this hotel really only targets at the one night stopover audience. The beds seemed clean but the place lacked the general cleanliness that we would expect really. The toilet had evidently not been cleaned properly for a long time, nor the sink overflow, lightbulbs... (there were only 3 or 4 cars in the hotel last night so I would like to think we had one of the better rooms??) could also do with a bit of a refurb. The floor coming apart is a dirt trap in itself. Either side issues to note... It is always a little frustrating to book a room for three, but then only have it made up with two cups or two towels (that sadly is common across all hotel chains and budget ranges we've found) and, on this occasion, we only had two cups and two milks. And it is also frustrating to be given a different price to the one quoted by the agency you book with. It wasn't related to the tax - it was the actual room rate but I couldn't be bothered to query it for the sake of 5 or 6 euros. Receptionist was pleasant - a warm welcome and a complimentary hot chocolate later in the evening. Summary - okay for an overnight stop. Not sure I'd rush particularly to stay here again though.
