I went there for the first time in February 2019 an then I came back again June same year the location is amaaaazing, in the middle of the markets, soooo near to big malls, bars, nightlife, restaurants, very near to parks as well and some temples and touristic places ... it was so easy for us to move everywhere in a short time its in the center and very easy to find taxis an transportation, at the same time its not noisy because its a bit inside a small street so u have ur calm in your room which was all the time clean with very good wifi and room service. ( the view was the only things I didnt like) but I dont mind when everything is great the swimming pool which I loved had the Thai style is sooo peaceful and there is a restaurant there with amaaaaazing food and a place where to do the massage also the guys they were so friendly and professional I recommend it so highly and Im planing to go again but this time not with my husband. it will be with my mom or maybe all together because I would looooove that she go there the atmosphere is magic thanks to the beautiful people on the reception and the lady who was making the breakfast with such a big smile everyday
The old Star Hotel in Bangkok, but because of its earlier opening time, the equipment and facilities are relatively old, and the decoration is also in the style of the 1980s and 1990s. The location is pretty good, opposite the Papong Night Market and Bar Street, not far from BTS Skytrain, MRT subway and Silom Shopping Center. The swimming pool is being renovated, but you can go to the pool of another hotel next door.
This is a lovely, very personal and intimate 5-star hotel. The only downside for me was the extremely hard mattress. To me, it almost felt like sleeping on the floor; I woke up several times each night because of it. If you like a firm mattress however, or don’t care much, you will be more than fine. I loved everything else about this hotel. The location is great, close to both metro and sky train. The place is very nicely decorated, in a classic colonial style. The staff is super attentive, always smiling, remembering how you like your coffee at breakfast. I think I got an upgrade to a room with a bath and balcony but they didn’t even say anything about it. There was a small problem with the shower and it was immediately fixed while I had breakfast. The room was spacious with lots of cupboards and a small fridge, and a nice shower with great water pressure. I used the gym twice. It’s very small with just a running and an elliptical treadmill and one weights machine with 3-4 functionalities. But for a mirning run it was just fine. There is wifi throughout the hotel, which I used for a Whatsapp audio call without any issues. When I tried a video call, it dropped a few times. All in all, amazing value for these rates, I paid around 90€ per night. If they would have slightly softer beds, I would certainly return next time I’m in Bangkok.
I highly recommend the hotel and staff. The room was very clean and comfortable Everyone are so nice. Even during our first day in the isolation, they made sure that we did not lack anything The hotel is in a very good location. 5-6 mins walk to the BTS and MRT Across the street to the best Thai massage and my favourite coffee Starbucks We will definitely come back :)
The family lives in a family of four. The two daughters are 7 years old and 2 years old. The bed is 2 meters wide and they can basically sleep. We did not have an extra bed, but it is more comfortable to sleep in an extra bed! Very satisfied with this hotel, location is 100 minutes, downstairs is night market, supermarket, all kinds of horses and chickens! Hygiene 100, a Japanese-managed hotel, the services are in place. Several waiters bring them to the car when they leave, help to carry luggage after busy, give goodbye gifts to children, especially love! Next time you come to Bangkok, choose this one properly! The underground parking lot is ample and free! It's Bangkok's traffic, really, too, it's blocked! !! !!
The room was clean and cosy, and its near Patpond and night life , may eateries joins. Massage parlours easily available. good location. But sometime , your room though booked can be taken and they will put you at Rose Hotel right behind them. Hope this will not happened and they have since changed and improved.
We stayed alone for 3 nights, but the location is 5 minutes walk from Metro station Samyan, there are two new shopping malls nearby, 7-Eleven 2 minutes walk, Max Value 5 minutes walk. The hotel itself was new and the room was clean and there was no bathtub, but it is quite good considering the price of one night. The bed is spacious and comfortable, and the TV can watch Panasonic youtube. The air conditioner works well. There are many refrigerators, electric pots and dryers. Bed making was also good feeling. Two bottles of water can be received every day, the only negative point is that it was a little sloppy at the time of check-in, the price was very cheap and the others were perfect.
Very nice and helpful staff. I have called the front desk to ask for assistance to reserve and change booking at Lets Relax (Lets Relax is exactly inside the hotel) and hotel staff is helpful and effective. Convenient hotel located next to the MRT station Sam Yan and very close to China Town. There is also a big shopping mall in the opposite of the hotel, with BigC supermarket, a money exchange shop (good rate) and many restaurants inside. We will choose to stay in this hotel next time.
I'm a repeater.
The cospa and location are excellent.
However, the timing was bad, and although all the entertainment facilities in Tanya and Patpong were closed due to the influence of the 3rd wave of Covid-19, there were many restaurants and delivery shops in the neighborhood, so I was not really bored.
To tell the truth: the location is good, 7-11 downstairs and sam yan shopping mall are connected to the subway, clothing, food, and transportation are very convenient Grand Palace about 40 minutes
For restaurants without breakfast, the so-called breakfast is to go to the coffee club downstairs to eat. A coupon will be given to the coffee club. You can choose one to drink (coffee or juice) + two to eat (see the picture below). Some simple ones may Hurry up anyway we waited forty minutes drunk
Another thing is that the bed is too soft and you are not accustomed to be cautious. The balcony windows in our room can't open. It may be the high floor (9th floor).
And on the first day after cleaning the room, I took away a room card, somehow. Drunk again.
Trouble point: The ticket was previously changed due to the itinerary. The previous two-night order Ctrip was also refunded. It was only booked for one night and then the matter was resolved. It was renewed for one night and the result was responsible for the next day The manager found me and asked me to pay the two nights I cancelled before .. what? I have shown her the order that has been paid before, and the cancellation still allows me to pay again. First: Why not notify me when I check in on the first day and the next day so I do n’t have to re-book for two Second share of money: why should you ask me directly? I showed him the payment order. I also showed him the canceled order. I booked it through the app and not the official website. Why did I ask for money when I came up? Aggressive.
Although it was confiscated when I finally checked out, the middle process was really annoying. It was eleven o'clock in the middle of the night. I still communicated well. Ctrip has been helping to communicate with the local agents in the middle. Customers pay?
Booked here for an overnight stay, the place is a bit old but still maintained. The bed is comfy and relaxing. The AC is good and cold. Good thing about this hostel is that Sam Yan train station is like 10mins away. Me and my 2 other friends will never forget what the owner did to us. We are in a week of backpacking across IndoChina, after We stayed in Bangkok we’ll gonna cross boarders going to Laos, we plan to leave our things at the luggage storage in Makkasan Station for 2 days and will cost us somehow a big amount . The good owner offers us that we can leave our things at the hostel and just get the valuable once so we don’t have to spend a lot, the owner even offered a lot of good food before leaving to Laos. Everyone there is nice and can speak english well. So thankful for that day
My wife and myself we’ve spent a great time at the Tarntawan Hotel, our own room it was very clean, good service, good breakfast tho!
The hotel is based in a nice area, there are a lot restaurants, coffee shops etc..
The hotel is old, but that old vintage, and I really like it, so who likes the vintage I recommend the Tarntawan Hotel.
I have only a feedback, if I wanted to turn off the air conditioning, by removing the key, all the lights went out, maybe if you can fix this, so it is more comfortable for the customer who is staying in the room!
A part of that service, cleanliness and location great .
Only one advantage is that it is close to the airport. Everyone else can do it. When I booked, I need to pick up the phone in the order. When I was ready to take off, I didn’t know how to pick up the phone. I called the hotel and asked him how to pick up the phone. The hotel communication was not good, it would not be Chinese and English. I understand that he replied to me to find a booking website, and then I found Ctrip, Ctrip as a middleman, this is not good enough. Then I waited for an hour and a half to Ctrip to reply. After arriving between 4f3 and 4, there is a place of 5 square meters dedicated to the hotel and various pick-ups. The names are people, many people are sitting inside. L24 is shared with another hotel, a piece of paper, and then everyone can unclear the order and show it to others. Don't ask, others will help you find the person in charge of your hotel shunting, because sitting inside There are so many people, I was not sure if it was the place to pick up the plane. The person responsible for dispatching the vehicle is a very full woman. Without a smile, the tone is fierce. The driver who picks up the plane does not take the initiative to help with the luggage. If you sit in the first row, you can see that the driver’s center console is very deliberate. A 100-pig banknote, and when it arrives, it has the action of taking the center console. I asked for a tip, but the people I passed didn't see it. Only when I saw it, I chose to ignore it. First, I didn't like to reach out. Second, his service was not worth my tip. If you want to drop off (only one-way pick-up service) or late check-out (check-out time is 12 noon), you will have to pay an extra 100 pigs.
Very clean hotel. Facilities are simple but complete. The service was particularly good. Because in Bar Street, travel is very convenient and very close to the attractions. It's a bit noisy at night, but the price and service are already great value. Highly recommended. Next time to come to Bangkok's preferred hotel.
The lobby of the hotel is very atmospheric, and the greenery is also very good. There is a small pond with a lot of koi. The room is slightly smaller, the toilet is very low, and it is not very comfortable to sit.
Affordable, rooms are large, windows can be opened and there are balconies for ventilation. The bed is large, there are two sinks, the air conditioner is cool, and the hygiene is good. The only drawback is that the location is not close to bts in the residential area, it is more troublesome to go to attractions
The hotel is between Khao San Road and the bus terminal on Chao Phraya River. The location is good. Relative to service, house prices are a bit high. I went directly to the front desk when I stayed, and told me to ask for 1,130 Thaiba a day. As a result, I booked with Ctrip. It only cost 950 Thai Babs a day. I hope someone will pay attention. Those travel agency agents at the door are very dark! I asked for the bus fare to Chiang Mai, one reported 850, one reported 950, but I went to a nearby travel agency to buy tickets, 600 Thai buses, luxury buses, can sleep on the bus!
Rooms are ok for a short stay, very basic, small TV not new, some have a table and chairs, I got moved to one that didn't. They have a safe, wardrobe, bath, hot water etc. So you are getting what you pay for I think it worked out $16 a night, but the pool is OK. The gym has some equipment that was probably made around the time I was born, but you can get a workout in but none of the electrical machinery is working. Its a 5 minutes walk out on to the main road Rachadapisek - Make SURE you get the hotel to call you a taxi or walk to the main road, as It's almost impossible to pick one of from the small soi that the hotel is on. Not an easy walk if you have a pushchair, so best to book.
Location is good but my only concern is the heavy traffic at the hotel entrance which is facing Big C supermarket parking entrance/exit. Traffic can be heavy coming from left, right and centre. One really needs to be careful when crossing.
Set breakfast provided with 9 choices to choose from for each day.
I had the pleasure of experiencing two nights here recently and I can attest that the facilities at this hostel residence were excepcional for such a short stay in a capacious dormitory room furnished with capsules, especially the laundry area on the rooftop which allowed me access to the disinfecting action of sunlight, and which afforded me an interesting take on the adjacent rooftops which were mostly fashioned from some type of corrugated metal sheeting. The showers were very clean although some of their taps were a tad tricky to open and could do with some handles, but apart from that they could be alternated between blasts of hot and cold to reinvigorate and that they certainly did, creating a potent start to a brisk walking day.
Front desk receptionist, good service speak with a smile There is an iron service with an ironing board delivered to the room. The room is on the cover. The room is clean and tidy. There is a TV, a hair dryer, a refrigerator, drinking water, coffee and a hot kettle with everything. The air conditioner is very cold. a little deeper Wherever you go, you have to call Grab or a taxi to pick you up. but overall very good Good to have seven under the building. It's ok
We were free to go, the hotel was a bit biased, and the driver didn't know where it was. No kettle, need to go down to pick up water. No slippers. It is recommended to go out and choose to be closer to the attractions you plan, otherwise it will waste a lot of time. Bangkok city is okay, Pattaya is not ok, it is not recommended to go to the small broken town of Pattaya, it is dead, the transportation is not convenient, and the bus station does not have air conditioning and electric fans.
Well, where shall I begin! This was our first stay at The Athene Hotel and check-in was first class. We were facilitated by Sopeido (hope I've spelled that right), such a polite individual with a lovely smile. We were upgraded (lovely) to a delightful king sized room on the 24th floor. Our room had everything and more to make us feel that little bit special and the bed was so comfortable and cleanliness was at a premium. All the staff we encountered were so helpful and nothing was a problem during our stay. The gym and pool facilities are excellent, in particular the gym equipment is so modern and the changing rooms are 5 star. Breakfast is up there with the best of 5 star buffets. So much choice and tastes across the board. Again the staff were so helpful in these stressful times. The lobby area is luxurious and the ambience so relaxing. Will we visit again? You can be sure of it and we are already looking to book a stay again in the near future, but for a longer period of time. Many thanks to all the staff we encountered for which the management must be so proud.
First discovered this gem a few months ago and since then I have stayed here every time I visit Bangkok. The hotel has perfect facilities, everything you could ask for. Value for money is outstanding and I recommend the one bedroom suite which is very affordable. Location could not be better - only 5 minutes walk from Asoke BTS but down a quiet soi so the stay is peaceful and not disturbed by the traffic on Sukhumvit. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, with all the facilities you'd expect including separate areas to work, eat and relax. Nice big pool. Good quality Finnish sauna. Well-equipped gym. Excellent breakfast and even more excellent dining options, including efficient room service. And then there's the staff. They are just the best and each of them go out of their way to make me feel welcome. Thank you and I will be back soon!
Good place, convenient transportation, calm atmosphere, complete facilities, standard hotels, general rooms, clean rooms, tidy, suitable for a good value room price at this price. Service work is usually at the middle level. Suitable for anyone who wants to stay in a general hotel with good rooms, not expecting much service at a low price, it is another standard hotel at this price that is another interesting place.
Generally speaking, I feel very good, and the internal environment of the hotel is clean and comfortable. There are styles, it is very convenient to go to Khao San Road, the Grand Palace, and the Reclining Buddha Temple. There is a 1 Michelin star restaurant near the hotel and I tried it and it was OK, especially the pineapple fried rice. The price is not too expensive. Generally speaking, the geographical environment of the hotel is very good. Friends who want to visit the above attractions can book this hotel. I stayed for two days. The only thing I felt was a bit surprised is that the hotel did not provide toothbrushes and slippers, a little regret. The pictures are the pictures of the restaurants I have been to, Khao San Road Night Market, Grand Palace, Wat Pho,
It is considered a very good hotel in Cebu, the security is very strict, the environment and services are very good, the swimming pool and bar on the roof are also very good, friends who are recommended to go can ask for a higher floor, and the sanitation on the lower floor is relatively a bit Old, all in all pretty good
Pros: * Overall: A new, clean & spacious Hotel even though only 3.5 stars. * Price: Affordable room price which is inclusive of breakfast & WiFi. * Staff: Friendly, helpful & prompt. * Room: Spacious with kitchenette, sofa, working desk, dressing/make-up area & bathtub. * Additional Merits: Lift is customized for wheelchair (one of the rare initiative by small hotels). * Instagramble Hotel (though we didn't take much photos because not our priority). Cons: * Location: Nothing along the street except a coffee house which is a walking distance too (along the main road). * Breakfast: Yummy traditional Thai and Western cuisine, but everyday is same food, We stayed for 5 nights so by the 3rd day we started to get bored of the same food. * Swimming Pool: size of a Jacuzzi tub and too exposed (on the street). * Convenience Store: should make use of the empty store space (beside the swimming pool) to open a convenience store for Hotel Guests. * Hotel Signage at main road: As per attached photo, there is a lighted Hotel signage along the main road during the evening hours. However, when we returned back to Hotel late at night, the light was switched off and thus Drivers had difficulty to find it in the dark. Suggest to on the power till dawn. * Soundproofing: Needs improvement as able to hear the noise at corridor. * WORST CON: We would give a 5 star rating to Onyx Hotel if not for this issue - No peace enjoyment at times, especially when the tour group are out/back from activities. Morning we are awaken by loud conversations, even to the extend of shouting & screaming. Night is even worse - guests gather at the level 4 common area to chit chat till late and one guest even took a chair to sit at the corridor & blast loud music on HP. Sincerely hope the Management can improve on this area. OVERALL: Will stay there again if going to RCA area everyday.
The location is very convenient for travel, there are several shopping malls around, two BTS, the service is also very good, Mr. Li there is very good in Chinese, and he also helped us make a travel guide, the favorite is the decoration style in the apartment, low-key luxury, and very Clean, facilities are new and complete
I walked in to stay there only one night. My overall experience will be 10/10!!!. The reception who I believed she is the owner is very nice. Two housekeeping are very friendly. They will always help, welcome and sincere. Since PM2.5 is getting worse, I am allergic and itchy every time I stay at the hotel/hostel. (I am the hostel lover) but this time I am not! They room and common area are super clean. The location is very suitable for BTS, it takes only 2mins and even 10mins walk to get to the train to airport. This is my new favorite destination. You must visit!
Chillax Heritage is a fantastic hotel in terms of quality and value in the area around Khao San. We’ve stayed in and around the area a number of times (over many months in total), in the full range of accommodation (backpacking in our 20s, holidaying in our early 30s) so we have a fairly balanced view of what’s on offer. Now in our late 30s, the location of the hotel is perfect in terms of being close enough walking distance to immerse in Soi Rambuttri and Khao San Road, but also a tourist-centric haven away from the hustle and bustle, and yet close to all the amenities and some of the tourist spots. The rooftop pool is fantastic, and the swim-up bar makes your day. The views of the near rooftops and distant CBD from the pool are interesting. The gym is good enough (and probably more equipped than you may imagine). The rooms are fresh, well-equipped and comfortable. The baths are a delight, and the water pressure and heating are relatively fantastic. The aircon is powerful. The staff are remarkably helpful and polite (and we didn’t feel the need to be on our guard for being scammed or cheated), with many speaking a very good level of English. The only let-downs are the lack of views from the rooms, and the breakfast buffet, whilst plentiful and decent quality, was very repetitive (we ate out after a few days). We will stay here again, no doubt. It’s a rare gem.
It must be a bit remote, but it is also very convenient to take a car at the intersection. It can also be called by a waiter. I like to take a taxi taxi, and Kuai Liang is very good. I ’m already here. It ’s been a week, and I ’m used to the surrounding environment. The waiter is very good. If you do n’t want to go out, you can ask the waiter to help me order takeaway. The takeaway is hot and spicy. It ’s all about 10min. I ’m going back to Hong Kong very soon. I ’ll come back to hotel booking next time, Thanks so much for me service see you next time…
There is a parking lot, there are convenience stores nearby, and there is an old food market. We use Grab taxi software to go out, about 200 from the hotel to the Siam business district. The overall environment is OK. The room has a small balcony, which is a floor-to-ceiling window. Household noise is not very good, such as the high quality of sleep requirements need to be cautious, the overall cost is relatively high.
Breakfast was super delicious. The living environment is also very good, open the window to see the temple palace not far away. Good location, walking distance to Khao San Road Night Market. There are 2 out of 711. Shower gels and shampoos are especially Thai.
The night view is really great, but the facilities are mediocre in general, sitting on the balcony at night listening to songs and drinking beer, watching the bright lights and the passing ships are comfortable
Nimit Boutique Hotel is at a perfect location, very easy to get around with public transportation and walking distance to awesome Shopping district. The room is a quiet, clean, spacious and comfortable. The whole place made us feel at ease. Reception was very nice, easy to talk to and very friendly when he welcomed us. I would definitely come again!
We stayed here for 3 nights while in Bangkok. We arrived on the overnight train from Chiang Mai at 7:30 am and the hotel stored our bags for us until check-in time (and delivered our bags to our room up 3 flights of stairs). We had a beautiful room on the 3rd floor (no elevator, and the stairs are steep). The room was large and the beds were pretty good—I would say better than average, as the beds in Thailand seem to be a bit hard. The bathroom area was large and the shower was hot and strong. There is a very limited breakfast offering (mostly a banana, toast and coffee in the morning) and we ended up having breakfast elsewhere. Although the hotel was located down a side road and then an alley, we used Grab service quite a bit and they always arrived without a problem, although we usually walked to the end of the alley for pickup and drop off to make it more convenient for them. It was a bit of a walk—maybe 7 or 8 minutes—to the Sky train and subway, but not too bad. The receptionist was extremely helpful and could not do enough for you. All in all, we loved this hotel and this would be our first choice if we ever need a hotel in Bangkok again. (I listed this as a mid-range hotel, but since we only paid about $40 a night, it is more of a budget hotel with a mid-range accommodation.)
Pros: Breakfast is very full Soup, staple food, Pho, egg, fruit, milk, bread, salad, various drinks, very good, breakfast staff's service attitude is also very good, hotel room is large;
Disadvantages: Room facilities are very old, if such a large room is renovated, it will definitely attract more customers;
The lights in the room were very dim, too dim ...
The location of the hotel is a little far from the city, and it may be closer to the airport;
The hotel is near a river, many plants, and mosquitoes. During the epidemic, not only worried about the coronavirus but also dengue fever, it collapsed;
There is also a disadvantage. There is no elevator in the lobby, and luggage must be brought up. It is recommended to improve it. At least a slope can be used to push the luggage up ...
Just stayed a night at this hotel, nice rooms, good food, overall a very nice atmosphere. I did not find the staff to be very friendly or helpful, though. The reception girls have no patience and not particularly nice with the guests. Also, if you’re taking a cab to the airport, i would recommend to insist on having them to call a taxi with the meter for you, because they will try to ‘offer’ you a ‘hotel car’ that is 3 times the price of an ordinary taxi.
Birthday served as surprised when we back to the room in the afternoon. Staffs there are nice and helpful.
The location is perfect. I afraid this is too far from BTS station at the beginning, but just few minutes walk which is acceptable. And there have so many cafe, restaurants, 7-11 and bars downstairs.
I am not expecting super clean nor super complete rooms in Pratunam area considering this area is very crowded with stores and market activities. This hotel has provide exactly everything we need for the area. Clean bed and bathroom, sufficient towels, free flow mineral water and very reliable fast WiFi access. This could be the most suitable hotel to choose in this area. We saw there are a lot more more 'fancy and luxurious' hotel nearby, however most of them located above very busy and noisy market with knock down stall which may cause unnecessary noisy for your sleep. This area is almost open 24 hours. Cloud 9 just the right choice which located on a quiet corner. This hotel could be hard to find even if you use online map. Try to look for Benz hotel. This cloud 9 is next to it. we will definitely choose this hotel again when we had a chance to visit the area. We do not hesitate to recommend this place to our colleagues and families.
