0.43km from Purple BeanConvenient parking, no breakfast, drinks vending machine. Service is OK, suitable for self-driving travel. It takes 15 minutes to get a taxi. The hotel is located in Reno. The uber I played was from Carson and went to the airport for about 15 minutes.
1.3km from Purple BeanFor more than ten years, the annual meeting has been in Reno, and I have stayed at those high-end hotels in the city. In recent years, I like to live in Sands. One is cheap; the other is parking plaza, not a parking building, and it is close to the elevator; the third is far away from other old friends who live in the center hotel, avoiding entertainment. The bad thing about this hotel is the old hotel, which is separated from the strip by two streets, and it is inconvenient to drive by yourself; it is the most commonly used in the old US-window air conditioner, noise; and then the price is low, residents, restaurants Casinos are not high-grade.

1.53km from Purple BeanThe cheapest hotel on this trip, because there is a **, plus the resort fee is not very expensive, the hotel is clean, the handsome guy at the front desk can speak Chinese, saying that after a year of university in Shanghai, he started to learn Chinese since high school, not far away There is a Taiwanese restaurant that tastes good, the hotel is very close to Lake Tahoe, the lake view is very good
1.61km from Purple BeanJust wanted a "one night stay" so went for low cost facility, but using the Wyndham name as a positive. Call center reservation staff was rude with attitude. Elevator was filthy and in disrepair. Non-smoking room reeked of smoke, stained furniture, and broken toilet. Second assigned room, stained furniture and drapery rod falling from ceiling. Upon check-out, counter staffs response to my concerns was "well it's downtown Reno" Maintenance staff was polite and helpful.
1.61km from Purple BeanThe place is ideally located in down town reno. The place is a bit tired and need some touch up especially the bathrooms. Employees are not customer centered and have no time for guests. you to navigate your way out.
1.65km from Purple BeanThe hotel's old facilities are still decent, no breakfast, parking, the front desk guys are particularly good and patient.
1.65km from Purple BeanThe arranged room had no view. But the place was easy to calculate. The staff were also very good. The first time I visited Reno, the impression was unforgettable. There was Vietnamese Pho in the restaurant. It was delicious.
1.66km from Purple BeanThe room was large and had a beaufiful view. The hotel is good enough even if you are not interested in gambling. There is a small pool and gym. The pool is heated so you can use if even in winter if interested. Check in and check out was smooth. You can walk around the ******s for food. Outside the ****** along the riverfront there are quite a few options as well. The price was cheap but for some reason at the hotel they charged me for fees etc. which were not not shown online. Not sure I liked that part..

The hotel usually does not include breakfast, and there are Starbucks and other small shops downstairs for breakfast. There are plenty of free parking areas around the hotel. The two big beds are big enough, and there is no problem sleeping two people per bed. Especially recommend the buffet on the first floor of the hotel.

I had fond memories of my previous stays at this property. The property has since gone through several ownership/management changes and it seems they were for the worse. I have to compliment the check-in lady, check-in was probably the only part that was above average, she was welcoming, sweet and efficient. I wish I could compliment her by name, but they don't wear name tags. In fact there is not a single name of a manager, GM or any contact person anywhere in the front desk. In the slot "manager on duty" there is a label "front desk manager". No business cards on the front desk counter either. If a property/management hides and does not want to be contacted/known, it is usually for a bad reason. They did assign me a 2-bed suite (as requested), but since they were going through some renovations the suite could not be on top floor, it was on the second. Luckily, the suite above us was the one being renovated, so there was no noise from above during the night. Impressions of the hotel: unvacuumed hallways (they only vacuumed them after 4 nights), dirty elevator floor (never mopped in 6 nights), printer in business center without toner and paper, dirty and trashed Great Room for breakfast (never cleaned from previous night), overflowing trash bin at the entrance ... State of the suite: no paper towels in the kitchen, no radio/alarm clock on the nightstand (probably my first IHG property without one), the ceiling light in the vanity area did not work, only one small sauce pan, no large sauce pan, no frying pan, no strainer, the plate in the micro did not rotate, dirty stove top, greasy and unappeling fronts of kitchen cabinets, dishwasher only washed the lower shelf, no Social menu on the fridge, no pen and notepad in the suite ... Housekeeping: no service on one day whatsoever (even though I asked for Light Touch), the other day they gave us one shower towel for three guests in the room, one day they gave us body lotion, the other day they didn't, forgot to replenish the toilet paper ... Meeting any of the housekeeping members is not a pleasant experience, they appeared miserable working there. Front desk was polite, but not much of a help. The only thing they provided were fresh towels. The radio/alarm clock never made it to the suite (although promised), the lightbulb in the vanity was never changed ... Their reply was "I'll see what I can do", which usually meant nothing. Breakfast and social: they only provide small, desert plates, so each guest needs to use several of them, the orange juice was watery, the pastry and fruit were gone in the first minutes and never replaced, the food attendents disorganized and inefficient, not noticing any of the missing items, they were stingy with wine for the Social (prepared 4 small glasses), the Social was on the very weak side for Staybridge (very limited choice and no hot item on some days), the breakfast/Social kitchen area was a mess with all the boxes and stuff on the floor ... All in all I wa
I have tried many Hilton locations and type during this shutdown and only Hampton Inn Reno West has made an effort to really serve me breakfast. At other locations I have been handed a bag with a cheap muffin and a brown banana. Not this location. You pick what you want off of the list which is darn close to the regular menu and BOOM there it is waiting for you in the morning. Bacon, sausage, oatmeal with all the fixings, yogurts, cerals, milk (reg or slim), juices, and fruits. Oh, and the cofffee station is ready night and day. Looking forward to coming back. Thank you team HINW!
Breakfast is very good, can be extra bed, suitable for children, the hotel location is very convenient, surrounded by many supermarkets, where to go is very convenient, 10 minutes to the airport. Parking lot is free
A two-bedroom and one-living suite was temporarily adjusted, but it was of no use to us.
Worst hotel in the United States for a month, the room smelled good, the hotel was old, things dropped out of the hotel, and I did n’t get it back
They where nice and friendly the rooms where clean the maintenance guy Jeff was very helpful. Room was quiet and clean I will be staying there again.
Very good, breakfast is free, no one collects money at all. There is a self-service laundry room. The room is large. Look to the snowy mountains. It takes about ten minutes by car to get to a Chinese buffet restaurant, king buffet.
If you read the traveler reviews, you will see that this motel charges customers fraudulently. This happened to us. It has taken more than a month to dispute the three different times they charged us for various amounts having nothing to do with our original reservation. We made many many phone calls to the property and to the manager, Mr. Cesar Mora, and NOT A SINGLE CALL WAS RETURNED. If you are an Expedia or Booking.com customer or if you use a 3rd party reservation system, EXPECT to be abused here. We had an Expedia reservation we cancelled well before arriving at the motel. We then made a new Marriott.com reservation for our stay. When we arrived the front desk staff decided to rely on the cancelled Expedia reservation which we specifically asked them to disregard as CANCELLED! They insisted, saying they had already been paid for our stay. This was not true. We asked them repeatedly to use our Marriott.com reservation which we provided to them at check-in. They refused. They ran our credit card "just for incidentals"....like what would that be? They have no mini-bar, no restaurant, only a snack stand next to the front desk. Long story short, we decided to leave the property earlier and they would not honor our modification request. Long after our stay, they "discovered" they were in fact not paid by Expedia so they charged our credit card for amounts that had nothing to do with our original reservation. When we complained to Marriott International, the service representative there also said the franchise property would not call her back. Ultimately she pressured them into giving us a refund of one night and Marriott Internaitonal gave us another refund for another night stay, apologizing for the poor experience we had at this hotel. We also asked our credit card company to process a FRAUD charge against this property and they were actively working the case so this also put pressure on the property to refund our money. Travelers be WARNED!
All aspects are good, service, environment, location, convenient parking. It's a new hotel. Facilities are also perfect, but toothpaste, toothbrush, etc. need to call the help desk to collect. I ordered two houses, but the prices are different, puzzled! I didn't have breakfast. I got up in the morning and went to the front desk to buy a cup of coffee. Opposite is the King's Car Museum. Tickets are 6 yuan for children, 12 yuan for adults, and yuan for the elderly. Worth a look. However, it is best to keep valuables in the parking lot by yourself, personally. Isolate some tramps. Attention ⚠️

The transportation is very convenient. Whether it is from the airport to the hotel or from the hotel to other places, it is very convenient to transfer the high speed I80. In addition, there are more places to eat next to the hotel. If you want to eat Chinese food, it is recommended to go to 110, drive is also very close, next to the hotel. There is a stadium and the walk in the past is very good! The service facilities in the hotel are also good, there is a gym!
sorry I will not stay here again. understaffed front office. dificult for disabled to get around. noise from other guests. water leak in floor. deposit required USD$100 do not think this was listed on web page. old facility with attempt to upgrade. would be more value at half the price.
Not bad hotel. Take a break here on the way to San Francisco. Free parking. Relatively clean. Cost-effective. American hotel. Breakfast cannot be served during the epidemic.
Clean, comfortable, hygienic, spacious and bright, the room has a kitchen, very convenient, the bed is particularly comfortable to sleep, the sofa is not bad, a small suite, beautiful environment?
The hotel is large, there is a conference center, the accommodation room is a bit far from the front desk. The clerk is very careful to tell how to stay, but the breakfast coupon is not provided. We booked 2 rooms and double breakfast. The result is not provided, and the confirmation from the front desk is given. One room for one voucher, we repeatedly confirmed whether it was 2 copies, the front desk said Yes, and ended up in the morning to eat at the restaurant and say a voucher. At the time of checkout, due to the delay of the UnionPay card pre-authorization, the friend could not confirm the payment. The friend changed to the VISA card and the 2 rooms were deducted for 3 times. We went to the bank credit card center to confirm that 3 117.94 knives (1 room rate) were deducted. The hotel clerk did not admit that he only deducted 2 117.94 knives and only provided bills for 2 rooms. If we disagree, we can only wait until 5-7 working days after the hotel clears the account.
This property could use a review of protocols and procedures to make out of town travelers feel safer during the pandemic. My experience included: (1) check-in with the front desk clerk who was not wearing a mask; (2) The desk clerk attempted to hand me the pen he had just used; (3) free breakfast was a to-go bag with a 1/2 liter bottle of water and a cereal bar (I received more on the plane coming in) - after 2 days of my 4 day stay, there was no to-go breakfast at all; (4) the indoor pool was clearly unsupervised - I saw at least 15 people using the small enclosed area - I wasn't even sure if they were hotel guests; and (5) check out from a different front desk clerk again not wearing a mask. Hilton makes a big deal out of cleanliness protocols on their website which is why I reserved a room at the Hampton. But this property clearly had not trained the staff on those protocols.

The room is very comfortable, there is a big ** underneath, there is a lot of food, there is also Starbucks, a few minutes drive from the city center, parking is free. There is an additional 36 to the resort fee per night
We travelling through the area and this hotel was close to the road just outside of Reno. We weren't interested in the casino but did eat at the buffet for supper. The room was a good price for a very nice room. However the hotel did bill us separately for the Hotel Resort Fee. I know it is shown in fine print when you price it out but I think it should just be included in the total posted cost that you pay up front. It's a shame that casino's allow smoking because that smell permeates the non smoking room we were in on the ground floor.
I am very dissatisfied with the hotel's pre-authorization deduction system. My room is $200 a night, the hotel deducted me $200, then deducted $200 from my credit card, then deducted $20, and finally buckled me. 10 dollars, I went to the front desk theory, they said that they made a lot of mistakes, and later cleared the back of $ 220, but the remaining 10 dollars did not know what the deduction is! I also encountered such a bad hotel management system for the first time!
The hotel's old facilities are still decent, no breakfast, parking, the front desk guys are particularly good and patient.
My wife worked with the Director of Sales, Kelly to reserve a block of rooms for a family wedding in October 2020. Kelly did a great job communicating with my wife on the details prior to the hotel stays and when guests began checking in they were impressed with the hotel overall. The location is convenient, the kitchenettes are a great feature especially when traveling for multiple nights and the price was very reasonable. We actually had a member of the bridal party stay somewhere else initially and after one night she moved over to the Home2Suites. If you are in the Reno area and prefer a non-smoking, non-gaming hotel I would encourage you to check them out. Also, if you are planning an event reach out to Kelly to discuss the options!

I recently had the need to book a room for Casino and was pleasantly my 84-year-old mother and sister, who were vacationing in Reno, NV. I selected the Ramada by Wyndham Reno. My family was very pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms and the amenities. I was pleased as well during the planning stage of the process. I called after making the reservation early the morning of the check-in and expressed my family was moving from another resort that day. I had the pleasure of speaking to Heather. Heather was so kind and suggested I call back in just 90 minutes and speak to her Manager Tara to see if the hotel could grant my family early access to the room that day. I called back and spoke to the Manager Tara., who was also so pleasant and helpful, and granted access after 1:00 PM. My family arrived around 1:30 PM and everyone was already notified and ready to receive them. My family wore face masks but found the ones they brought hard to breathe due to heat in Reno. I called and spoke to Judy at the front desk and I asked if the hotel might have a few disposable masks that they could spare. Immediately upon my family returning to the Hotel, Judy provided them with several free disposable masks to help my mother breathe easier during the stay. My family really enjoyed their stay. The exact words they used were they felt like valued guests. I highly recommend Ramada by Wyndham Reno Hotel because the rooms are clean, reasonably priced, and the Excellent Customer Service.
This was our second time staying at the Peppermill. We love this place. We got one of the suites with a jacuzzi tub. Last time, our room had a sauna in the shower. And that was a regular hot tub room. No suite. The suite did not have one. was definitely disappointed. The room was nice. We were in room 1234. We were hoping this would be lucky (It wasn't. lol)Nice, elegant furniture. The bed was good. Not great. But it worked. The room was pretty clean. A few fingerprints of the glass shower door, and some on the bathroom door. Some bracelets hanging on the lamp left by previous guest. Black tape holding a grate to the side of the hot tub kept coming off, and I stepped on it a few times. ouch! None of these were big issues. We didn't feel it was dirty, or we couldn't stay there. Those are just little bit picky things. However, my one complaint, I feel is justified, is, you couldn't see out any of the windows. We had, what would have been an awesome view... if we could see it. The windows are obviously double pained. They weren't put in correctly. There is sensation between the panes. It looks terrible. We had a window right above the hot tub. And another one in the sitting room. Both had the same issue. I was extremely disappointed about this. I really looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub overlooking the city. But, it is what it is, I suppose. We stayed 3 nights. We ate at Biscotti and Milano Cafe, both in the ******. Both, we found to be the quality of a buffet. Nothing impressive. The steak house was full and had no reservations all 3 night. And the Asian was closed 2 of the 3 nights. We decided to walk across the street to Ruby River. That was an AMAZING meal. The ****** was pretty dead. We won nothing. Boo! lol. The front desk staff is kinda just there. Not friendly. No smiles. No warm greetings. Kinda like, Welcome to Peppermill, get your stuff and get out. haha. Overall, we enjoyed it. You can't beat the price!
The hotel is not bad, a little expensive.
Convenient parking, no breakfast, drinks vending machine. Service is OK, suitable for self-driving travel. It takes 15 minutes to get a taxi. The hotel is located in Reno. The uber I played was from Carson and went to the airport for about 15 minutes.
