Trouble place to stay. Not worth 89 bucks per night. We left in the middle of the night because we could not take the smoke smell and paint smell. Our throats begin to close we had to get out of there. Our first room was so strong with smoke smell we immediately asked for a non smoker room. The attendant said they had no rooms available . I asked for a refund. Another room became available across the hall. That room was a little better as far as the smell. We could still smell the smoke. The room looked old just nasty. We stayed about 2 hours and we had to leave. Now if your business is for a rendezvous this the is place for you. Clean sheets and nice room is not your goal here if that is what you are looking for. Like I said we became ill because the air quality and smell of smoke and whatever other fumes. I would not complain as much if the charge was less the 50$z. 80$ way too much for this type of room. Beware the pictures are deceiving. Check out my pictures.

I am giving it one star, because is the lowest option available, for my stay at the hotel. It was a horrible experience. When we arrived on June 2nd, 2023 at 11:30 pm, we were exhausted and ready to rest from a long trip. However, our room lacked basic amenities such as toilet paper, towels, sofa bed sheets, pillows, blankets, iron, and a bottle of water at check-in since I'm a silver member. Despite booking a suite with all the amenities” included”, we called the front desk for 15 minutes, but no one answered. We went to the lobby and there was no receptionist at the front desk, we found out that at least nine guests had the same problem, 7 minutes later the lady showed up and I wait for my turn, she told us to collect the items ourselves from the laundry room, maybe because she was pregnant, I'm not complaint at all for that, we are happy to help her, but the laundry room had plenty of everything we needed! but the receptionist did not even provide us with toilet paper. she said that We had to wait until the next day for towels and toilet paper so we use a napkin roll that we had in our car. The next day we ask again for the basics we need (Saturday in the morning), just to take a shower, and the lady at the front desk said, that someone was going to proportionate the towels and the toilet paper, but no one showed up to give us anything, We checked out on Sunday without towels or toilet paper proportioned and we informed the receptionist on Sunday of our complaints, she was super kind but However, we never received any resolution, apologize or call from the hotel's management. And for the cherry on the cake, our room door did not lock correctly, so we had to place a chair to close it. Overall, it was a disaster, and I will never stay at that hotel again. Our room was 218 for reference and for security purposes for the next guest. I had an unfortunate experience during my stay at this hotel, and I feel compelled to share my experience.

We were in Houston for a conference with our children. We booked this hotel because of the indoor pool and the location. I was impressed with Marcus at check in and the fact that he was knowledgeable and professional. THe breakfast ladies were amazing at helping us out with food that had run out and even bringing us extra napkins, did I mention we had our kids. Charnetta was wonderful the next morning and did amazing working around a broken front door. John was working when we checked out and was wonderful helping us sort out the payment information and who and what. We will definitely be staying there next year for Conference!! Thanks to the ENTIRE staff that worked that weekend for an amazing stay.

The beds are comfortable and the rooms are always clean. It is nothing fancy but if you are looking to get something in price that wont break the pocketbook, I recommend this place.

This Garden Inn was well staffed, operated, and clean. The staff was friendly, took care of my needs, and made for a worry free stay. It’s back off the main road a bit, so it was pretty quiet for being in a big city. The only suggestion I might make was the lack of lighting and signage as you turn off the main road.

Hotel location is very good, in the subway DRYDEN station, 8 minutes from the DRYDEN Metropolitan Museum area three stations, there is a ticket vending machine on the subway platform for 1.25 dollars within three hours. The subway is parallel to the motorway on the road in front of the hotel. It is convenient to use the underground passage. There is a bathtub in the big bed room. The softness and hardness of the bed are suitable. It is suitable for a family of three. I feel comfortable living in the museum area ZAZA!

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Houston Hobby Airport
4.2/5101 Reviews
Houston

It’s an airport hotel, so you expect a shuttle. From the airport, you call the hotel and they send a shuttle (it took a few minutes after I’d called, at 1am). They return to the airport every 15 minutes. Easy. (Definitely easier than a number of other airport hotel shuttles I’ve used.) It’s an airport hotel, so you expect it to be noisy, right? Wrong. I chose a room on the opposite side to the road (use the hotel plan in the app - someone else posted it’s all even room numbers one side and odd the other side, that’s not correct). I didn’t have a view but I heard no noise other than a neighbor’s door slam. No cars, no planes, no nothing. Great sleep. It’s a Hilton, so you know what to expect. It’s not luxury, but you have everything you need - decent bedding, space, coffee maker, the right toiletries. Room was clean and furniture, bathroom etc all seemed fine to me. I had dinner in the bar and breakfast in the breakfast restaurant - all fine, and pretty reasonably priced (especially for an airport hotel). I arrived at 1am to be offered a warm cookie. Loved the idea, sadly I have a nut allergy (thank you for labeling the product clearly as having nuts!) Service was friendly everywhere - the front desk at 1am and other times of day, as well as the bar and restaurant. And the room price was reasonable, especially given it was a last minute booking (for the next night). Did everything via the app - check in, room key, check out, find out breakfast times etc. super easy. Only minor complaint is that the little store next to reception is not very well stocked, and a number of empty spaces indicated they usually stock quite a bit more than was there. That said, if you weren’t too fussy in your chocolate or snack quest, you’d find something. Would stay here again if I needed a hobby airport.

On 2/7/2022 I made a reservation online for a 10 night stay at the Hampton Inn Houston-Katy. On 3/8/2022, I modified the reservation to a one night stay. Upon checking in on 4/13/2022 at around 11 pm, Brenden confirmed that we would only be staying for the one night. On 4/14/2022, we left the hotel. No belonging were left in our room. Since covid, we have been receiving our receipts via email for our records. We left the keys at the hotel and thought nothing was out the norm. I realized that in the afternoon, I had not received my receipt. I checked my credit card statement and saw two charges from Hampton, $207.93 and $1465.84. I contacted customer assistance who directed me straight to the hotel. The manager, Stephanie refuses to refund the money. She called me a ”lier” (her words) and said that when we checked in we directed Brenden to change the reservation to ten days. She also said that belongings were left in the room. I assure you that neither is true. If we were staying 10 days, I would have modified the reservation to make sure we would have a room a head of check in. In stead of just admitting to making an honest mistake, she insulted my integrity and has basically stolen my money for services I never wanted or approved. I have the confirmation to confirm the stay of one night only. There were no belongs left. When I looked at my reservation on my phone on 4/13 it was one night. They deliberated changed it to 10 and are calling me the lier. I assure you that any future stays will be at the Comfort Inn. I want my funds refunded to my card, but I am still waiting on a call back.... not holding my breath. They seem to manipulate the truth and insult customers.

This is a random hotel in a random location. I booked it because I have had good experiences with the Autograph Collection. It was clean. It was located where they say it is, so shame on me, but there is hardly anything around there. There is a LifeTime gym next door - I assume they get access, which is nice. Check in person was nice. We got upgraded to a larger room, which was great because even that was not very big. Cons: Only decent hotel where I’ve not been offered help with our bags (normally you have to fend off porters if you don’t need them). We pulled up to the $41/day valet at a reasonable hour. We had two large bags with us and nobody even offered to help us wrestle them out of the trunk. When we wheeled them down to check out the valet asked us whether we wanted help getting them in the trunk — well, yeah. That made for a sour start. Water temperature in the shower was really problematic, either really hot or cold, very very hard to modulate. We were not going to mention but management sent us a “how’s things” text and we mentioned it and they fixed it! On Saturday morning there were lots of takeout food bags (obviously trash from dinners ordered the night before) up and down the hall - gross. How hard would that be to pick those up in the middle of the night? Ironically, the nicest guy we met at the hotel was a housekeeping guy who was vacuuming the hall and was delightfully courteous - I wish I’d gotten his name. Bar was understaffed. Sorry, Laura, you won’t see me again.

Like a motel, the room is large, clean, and fully equipped, but because it is close to the highway, there is a car driving overnight. Did not have breakfast, eat a few days each person 12 knives a day, children half price. Self-service, average American breakfast. Not expensive or cheap. It is not convenient to have no car in the United States. So staying here is much cheaper than downtown. Drive to the museum area, follow the morning peak for about 40min-1h, and go to the space center for about 1.2-1.5h. Can be tollway, less than 2.5 knives for each of the 7 seats, not expensive, take the right cash channel, below 20 can be zero. Houston is planning very well, the museum areas are all together, naturally, children are close.
