4.05km from R&Co. SalonI can't really rate this Quality Inn because when I was looking for a room there was a UT Football Game going on so their prices were a little too much for what I was looking for. The gentleman that was running the front desk was very courteous and helpful even though I didn't stay with them.

4.16km from R&Co. SalonI always stay at red roof because for the most part they are decent. I only stayed here for the night on the way to florida. The room seemed clean and was warm. There was not a noisy fan that went on when I turned the light on in the bathroom. That meant I was able to keep the light on all night for safety. There were two outlets plus a usb port for my electronics. It was quiet so I was able to sleep without earplugs. The front desk person was polite. Breakfast was better than most red roofs. There were waffels, scrambled eggs, sausage, toast and cereal. The kitchen looked clean. The only down side that I could see was the bed. It was rock hard and springy. One set of sheets had been washed but there was a feint brown stain. I tried to switch beds and the other sheets had multiple holes in them. I was so tired that I still fell asleep for six and a half hours. Over all I was happy with the stay and may stay here again on the way back.

4.22km from R&Co. SalonWe have stayed here multiple times in 2016 and 2017 and always had great service and very clean rooms. We stayed here last night We have stayed here multiple times in 2016 and 2017 and was happy with the room and service. This time I was so disappointed. It was late when we checked in and we were exhausted. I'm glad I always travel with wipes to clean. The toilet had urine on the seat. I cleaned it. Then about fell off the toilet seat because the seat was so loose. Then got in the shower and had NO hot water. Still no hot water in the morning. Chelsea was so kind to let us use another room for a shower. Went to breakfast. Waffle machine didn't work and not labeled "out of order". No juice, well 99% water and rest in color. No coffee. Everything was a mess. Chelsea left front desk to go help wipe down breakfast area and make coffee. There was another girl seen on occasion but not very efficient. She would bring out one thing at a time. I've stayed at a lot of places and one person have everything fully stocked, looked nice, tables cleaned and being friendly to the guest. But efficiency is a huge problem at this location. There was a guy that had on gloves from cleaning a room getting coffee. Yuck. Who knows what those had touched. This motel needs some TLC with window cleaning, repairing broken handles on drawers, cleaning carpet, maintenance on refrigerator (ours had water in bottom of it) and better room cleaning. By the way, when I checked out, guess who was giving a lady clean towels, answering the phone and checking people out? Yep, you guessed it, Chelsea! Bless her heart. She was being kind and courteous though people on other end of phone line were mad and fussing at her. The manager on duty which sign said was Patel was no where to be found and not available to speak to customers. Choice Hotels need to get this place on track with their management. I am so disappointed in such a change in the place since our last stay on 2017. Choice Hotels are revising and marketing a new brand that things are much better. I hope Choice Hotels gets the eyes opened to this owner to get it back to where it needs to be according to their marketing strategy overall.

4.5km from R&Co. SalonRed Lion Hotel Corp was great, Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Knoxville not so much. Hotel was average, service was horrible. We tried to check out early and the manager would not do it. Was going to charge me for 2 days even though I was checking out. Reason I was checking out early was because a family member was in the hospital and we needed to be closer to the hospital in case something happened. Ended up having to call RLH Corp (which was extremely helpful) to have them call the hotel and tell them to let us check out early and provide a refund.
4.53km from R&Co. SalonWe wanted somewhere cheap nearby the Zoo to stay. We were checking in and already got a bad feeling about this place. Upon entering our room it was very disgusting. Nonsmoking which reeked out smoke and other things. We didn't have time to make it to our room 2 ladies which introduced themselves as "can get whatever you want, we work the corner here." My husband and small child knew this was the wrong place for us. We were told by the few prostitutes there that this hotel was for women who work the corner and drug dealers. Tried to sell us her body and drugs within us being their 10min. No microwave, blankets, tv remote. We checked out. Please save your money spend the extra few dollars you can find ANYTHING nicer than this.
4.65km from R&Co. SalonWe spent three nights here in early Nov.. Helping rehab an old house has brought us to Knoxville quite a few times lately where we’ve stayed at Choice motels at Strawberry Plains, but this weekend, the rates at this Econo Lodge were cheaper. Just needing a clean place to sleep, we chose this option. Our room had two comfortable beds, frig, microwave, coffee maker, hairdryer, iron/board, desk/chair. The toilet/tub/shower part of the bathroom was slightly larger than some, so the feeling was less claustrophobic. Water pressure was good, and the towels, while not huge and fluffy, were adequate. Breakfast was very sparse. Two cereals were offered along with English muffins, toast, small muffins, juice, and coffee. Nearby, however, are Burger King, McDonald’s, and IHOP if you want a more substantial meal. We were surprised to find that our beds were not made up by housekeeping after the first night. Towels had been changed(even though we hung ours up indicating that wasn’t necessary), trash removed, and toiletries replenished but the beds remained unmade. The next day, they were made, so perhaps housekeeping was short-handed on the weekend, or it was just an oversight. One of the front desk ladies was very friendly and cordial. It was a pleasure speaking with her. Cost for three nights with all the state and local taxes came to $185.
Hotels Near R&Co. Salon In Knoxville Review
Good location along I-40 so you don't get into Knoxville traffic. Close to Sieverville if interested in shopping. Room was clean and comfortable. It was not ready on time when we arrived but they offered a discount coupon to a restaurant nearby. Puelo's Grille was excellent-great steak and great service. Many food choices at this exit, some in walking distance of the hotel. Reasonably priced. Good overall choice if you're in the area.

What an incredible staff GM David has going here – and we should know, since this was our 3rd visit here in the past year. Two of those stays in the “virus days” but this Homewood still keeps as much going as possible. The fitness room (free weights, scale, water dispenser) is open by appointment, breakfast is a Grab ‘n Go – but coffee is there in the lobby for you, from 5 a.m. on. Ice machine near Room 108, Laundry ($2 wash, $2 dry) near Room 225. The pool is sparkling clean with lovely surroundings and very popular with guests. Screened windows open for a breeze. Walmart is across the street, Costco a couple blocks away. And if any little thing in your room goes wrong (it rarely does), Maintenance Supervisor Tommy is on call. He even has his own office/workroom on the 3rd floor, so whatever is needed is on hand and he takes care of you with a wonderful smile. Beautiful Charity at the Front Desk will absolutely make your day. Good show, David! See you next time.
We stopped at this hotel on our way home from Maryland to Florida. The front desk clerk was super friendly and made me feel welcome at check in. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. It worked well for my mother, niece (age 12), and nephew(age 9), and I. We loved that the pool was open 24 hours. We did not arrive until late and we got to let the kids get out some pent up energy from the days travel. The breakfast to go boasted breakfast burritos, blueberry waffles with syrup, various cereal choices, muffins, and yogurt. There was plenty of OJ and milk. We were able to take our breakfast up to our room and eat before checking out. Check out was as simple as turning in my keys. A great experience and I would stay again.
My husband and I stayed at Americas Best Value Inn - Knoxville East for 1 night while traveling through the area. We made the reservation that morning, and requested a room in a "quiet" location. We arrived about 7:30 pm. The front desk lady was courteous and efficient. She knew of our "quiet" request, and had a room on the top floor, at the end of the hall waiting for us. The room was clean, the wifi signal good, and the bedding comfortable enough. Due to CoViD restrictions, they did not offer any breakfast. We would stay here again should the need arise.
i stayed at the LaQuinta Papermill, Knoxville property. Took a three day relocation trip from Texas to Tennessee. Expected to be in the LaQuinta for 3 day. Had to expand to 7 days because of terrible glitch with the furniture moving team The staff's friendliness and service made the extended stay acceptable, even enjoyable. The front staff of Ashley, Dawn, Kristen, Jennifer and Cory delivered front-line guest experience. Housekeeping team was immediately attentive to our needs. Please commend the On Duty Manager - Sarah - for assembling this top-notch team.
Came up from Miami in August and I’m staying through October to look at property and to have fun. What a perfect place, it has a kitchen, cable, WiFi, everything I need is included in the price, I only have to bring clothes. Where I am is in West Knoxville so it’s only minutes away from anywhere I need to go. When I’m not looking at property I can go hiking in the Smokys which is just about 50 mins away. The staff here is great, very helpful with anything. The location is clean, quiet, comfortable, it’s been my home away from home, you really couldn’t ask for more. The pics are of a hike I took, not the view of my extended stay room😂
WOW, really that sums it up! This hotel exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful property and sits on the corner of "Market Square" downtown Knoxville. So its very "walkable" to cafes, shops, etc. It was extremely clean and we felt very safe concerning all that is going on with COVID. Brianna at the front desk was a breath of fresh air, eager to help in any way and super friendly but yet professional. The bed was so comfy, one of the best we've ever slept in. (and we travel a lot) The pics on the website are true to hotel, decor is amazing. We did not eat at the hotel so can't comment on that but WOW on everything else. My husband had a business meeting the next day and they gave us a late check out so that I could stay in the room until he got finished, very nice touch and I appreciated that so much. We CANNOT wait to go back! You can not go wrong staying here. We have stayed at some of the best hotels in the nation and this one makes the top 5 for me!
I have stayed at this hotel twice. The staff is very helpful. We did not receive our printed materials and they assisted us in getting it all done in the business center and the front desk. The rooms are nice and clean. Includes breakfast. Parking onsite. It is right downtown and near the convention center. Amazing restaurants are really close by. You can also grab an electric scooter to tour the city. They are on many street corners. The only issue Is the proximity to the street. It can get loud. However, they provide earplugs to help with it. Thanks to the staff. We appreciated your extra efforts.
We never even arrived at this location yet the night clerk Shelby provided exemplary service. We were going to be a very late check-in (Midnight) and she called us when we were about 30 minutes away to inform us of an emergency facility problem that would prevent us from staying. She offered nearby Hilton alternatives and made the calls herself on our behalf and 25 minutes later called us back to let us know what she had arranged. We drove directly to the nearby Hampton Inn. With some minor room adjustments and coordination with Kelly at Hampton Inn, we stayed at the alternative with Shelby’s property assisting with the rates. What could have been a frustrating night, turned out to our satisfaction with just a brief delay to get squared away. Thank you, Shelby and Kelly
Lorraine was fantastic. The hotel is great - if you get placed away from the highway. That's the key. The gym is good. Breakfast was good with one complaint - you serve oatmeal so you need to carry brown sugar, not direct people to sugar in the raw packets. It's a great property - and will stay again. Big props for Lorraine
Pool/hot tub and basketball court are open until midnight!!! Most hotels close their pools at 10 so it gave us plenty of time to enjoy the amenities. Not to mention most places don’t have an indoor basketball court! The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and cozy. The bed was not the most comfortable but didn’t hinder our stay. Great value for your money. Would recommend to anybody.
Trying to find a clean, comfortable and pet friendly hotel that doesn’t break the bank can be difficult. The LaQuinta Inn at Knoxville Papermill is such a place. I did not feel that I had to compromise my comfort in favor of my pet being able to stay with me.
The room is clean and is big then what I thought would be.... My kids slept so good they didn't even wanna wake up. We didn't have breakfast because we was still sleeping lol. But yes I will be staying here again when I come back
This is a relatively new property downtown Knoxville. It is a paired property (whatever the industry term is), paired up with a Residence Inn. It’s located at the far end of Gay Street. So it is within walking distance of the theater district, Market Square, and other downtown sights. In terms of Covid clean, the room had one wipe by the remote control... but little other sign of extraordinary cleaning. The coffee pot was also dirty. So a little work to do. Rooms are a nice size. I’m often not a fan of Courtyards in the USA. I think the brand looks better abroad. This one felt more like what I’ve seen in Europe. Nicely appointed room and huge bathroom. Even had the 2/3 glass for the shower. Toiletries were also individual sized (not the shared pumps), which was nice. I asked for an early check in and ended up on the 3rd floor. A bit disappointing with status, but happy for the early accommodation. If you can, get a higher room, downtown Knoxville and the Smokey Mountains in the distance are worth the view. Service was ok at the front desk. I was confirmed mobile checkin, but my mobile key didn’t work. Front desk insisted on full checkin with card swipe and everything. Time to modernize your practices. It’s a little annoying. It’s also annoying that Marriott mobile keys rarely work, at least for me. No problems at hotels branded by the competitor starting with H. Nice new property. I’d stay here again... I’d probably try the Residence Inn option.
This hotel was very nice. They attend to every detail. Clean. Well appointed. And this was huge - REAL COFFEE! No machine coffee for this hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we are in the Knoxville area.
Clean, convenient, quite, easy access and parking and very close to gatlinburg. Service was Excellent! The room was clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed..mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Staff was very helpful and friendly . The hotel pool was amazing and everything was very clean and sanitized. We will definitely be back !
Stayed 1 night on our way to Gatlinburg. Was greeted like family. Very good value for a Friday night. Close to the highway we faced the highway but was not a problem with noise. The beds are amazing best sleep outside of our home mattress. The have snacks/small meal with 3 cocktails she made a good margarita and tequila sunrise from 5:30-7 pm every nice don’t remember the bartender name but she was fantastic very friendly and professional huge asset to your Hotels’s was the crew working the front desk. . Breakfast was the norm but good way to start the day. They practice the COVID-19 regulations great very clean they limited how many people could be in the pool/hot tub area as you needed a special key to get into them. They severe you both the dinner and breakfast in throw away containers. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone going through Knoxville. In fact I recommend this chain to any city they are in . I stayed at 2 in the St. Louis area but we’re top notch
I'm frequently in Knoxville for work and this is where I stay - EVERY SINGLE TIME!! The beds are the most comfortable, the staff is helpful, the rooms are clean, showers are nice, pillows are great, the hotel is also usually quiet at night, the breakfast is good...did I mention the beds are amazing!? :) It's a great place to rest your head.
Check in was easy!! Everyone working at the front desk was super pleasant and helpful during my stay. Housekeeping was awesome. The room was very clean and surprisingly didn’t smell like smoke. No burn-holes in bedding, & the sheets/towels looked to be new! Very happy and will be back.
Hotel is available from I75, Check in was Friendly, talkative and laughing. We picked Baymont for their great breakfast with protein. But with the caronavirus they could not have any warm foods. Not their fault Thankful for a microwave and refrig in the room. The room was spacious and clean. The price was very affordable. The bed was very comfortable for us senior joints. I love that the sink and mirror is outside the shower room for 2 or more people. We liked having the choice of the Inn or parking outside our room door. We like parking close to the room.
We stopped at the Holiday Inn Express on our way to Nashville after being in the car for 9 hours. Just off the highway, this hotel was perfect! We were greeted by Georgia in a bright, clean lobby & thankfully they had vacancy. They have a pool which is just off to the left when entering & looked nice. The room had 2 queen beds and was very clean. The beds were the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in & the sign in the room said they are new. The bathroom was stocked with towels that were the right combo of scratchy & fluffy. C.O.Bigelow hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner & body wash was available in the shower & the water pressure was very good. We were going to check out the pool but there were a few older gentleman in the pool area, fully clothed, drinking beer which made our teen cousin a bit uncomfortable so we skipped that. Harmless, I’m sure. Earlier in the night there was a family in there swimming and it looked like they were having a great time. Breakfast is complimentary from 6am - 10 am and was fantastic as well. There was a refrigerator stocked with yogurt, hard boiled eggs, milk, butter, etc. they had biscuits, sausage gravy, turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, a make your own pancake station, cinnamon buns and 3 kinds of cereal. There was also a selection of breads, bagels, muffins and oatmeal. On the wall hung “on the go” bags so that guests could take their breakfast to go if needed. How great! Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. Great nights rest, delicious & plentiful breakfast, safe, bright and clean. Photos of breakfast attached. Didn’t get a chance to photo the room before we messed it up.
Wow is all I can say. This was the nicest hotel room I have ever stayed in. The room was updated, modern, spacious, and clean. Honestly this room made it seem like I rented out a studio apartment instead of a hotel room. Loved the walk in shower. A full size fridge and dishwasher in a hotel room?! Crazy. The sound proofing was amazing..I never heard anyone coming or going. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There were sanitizing wipes in with the key card and placed around the room. Only downside is there is no pool or hot tub. 10/10 experience and I look forward to staying here again if I’m ever back in Knoxville.
The Employee Ashley is cool an Respectful, she really show you that she cares about you you can tell, she made/make me feel comfortable staying here.....I recommend you to stay here at a rate in cheap price... Thanks Ashley Peace and love
This was our first time in Knoxville. We were heading home from the beach, from a family vacation, and decided to stop in Knoxville instead of Charlotte. As another reviewer stated, there is a parking garage that you can park at on the weekends for free. & We used that garage. We were very impressed with the COVID precautions that this hotel was taking. (& we live in Pittsburgh, so, we were already wearing masks, even if not required.) Hand sanitizers were in lots of places. & Employees all wore masks. Our hotel room looked & smelled super clean when we arrived, however, I still spray Lysol around any of the hotel rooms that we stay at. & We also spend a few minutes using Clorox wipes on high touch areas. We had to call the front desk for linens for the sleeper sofa, and they were brought immediately. There was no maid service for our 2 night stay, which was fine by us. If we needed anything, they took care of it immediately. (toilet paper, etc.) This hotel has some of the friendliest employees that I have ever encountered. Absolutely amazing. EVERY single employee that we'd see, said hello, and welcomed us to this hotel. We were so impressed with this. The breakfast is still open, however, it is cafeteria style instead of buffet due to COVID. And I wish I could remember the names of the man and woman that seated people at breakfast... because they were super friendly and super efficient. They made breakfast very enjoyable. The hotel is close to restaurants, ice cream shops, and a movie theater & is located right in downtown Knoxville. Easy walk to a lot of places that have outdoor dining. Only downside, the rooftop bar turns into a night club at night on the weekends. So, after the evening social hour, (which they still do!), we left so as not to be around a lot of people. & There is a line and a bouncer once the roof top club opens up. Hotel guests can bypass this line and get to an elevator through the lobby. The pool was open, reservations were required. And they have a Top Golf in the hotel that you can rent. We loved this hotel, and plan to return again!!
We stayed here on the first night of our road trip and after a long day of driving (15 hours) this was luckily the perfect place to stay for the night. We were quickly checked in, and the lobby, breakfast room, our room, pool, workout room, etc. were clean and inviting. We had a nice breakfast in the early morning - it was well-stocked and not too many people there. We were not at the hotel very long overall but were very glad we had chosen this place.
Guest rooms are nice and peaceful environment. Staffs are very friendly and treatment is as per guest requirement. Customer satisfaction seems to be at highest priority goal. Excellent. We will stay again.

I can't really rate this Quality Inn because when I was looking for a room there was a UT Football Game going on so their prices were a little too much for what I was looking for. The gentleman that was running the front desk was very courteous and helpful even though I didn't stay with them.
As always when traveling, my husband and I book with Candlewood Suites, however this time I'm traveling alone. As usual Candlewood Suites is our go to place to stay when out on the road, as I titled my review, "Just like Coming Home" is exactly what this place is. I was greeted with a huge smile by April, the desk clerk for the evening. She was friendly and efficient. I was checked in and in my room in no time. This was a short visit so we decided to use our reward points for my stay, I did have to pay for two nights during my time here and it was a crossover with points and cash, somehow during booking, my husband had missed a day but Janet, morning clerk - I believe this is her name, helped me correct this. She went out of her way to see that my stay was uninterrupted. I've met others here at Candlewood Suites who have done the same to make my visit comfortable, Johnny, Debbie, Steven and three others (they were the maids on 3rd floor - a young girl and older woman and gentlemen overnight night clerk - I do laundry late at night so others can use washers and dryers during day. All were friendly and efficient. If I passed one of them they always ask me if I needed anything. The hotel was always clean and well maintained. If you travel and want to book where you feel at home this is the hotel to stay at. Candlewood Suites is always our go to place to stay. DCox
