This is a very special place. We stayed at two bedroom villa with the pool as we traveled with my two teenage boys. There are two separate villas on each side of the pool. The rooms are beautiful, in historic Thai villa’s, the decor of the resort is stunning. The lunch was fantastic, the private dinner the best Thai food we had during our travels. The breakfast you have to order the day before and it was ok. This resort is in town, So you do have traffic noise at night and it’s under a flight path, so you do hear airplanes over head at night.

The location of the hotel was really biased, and there was no way to go out at night. There were no street lights. Of course, if you take a taxi, this is not a problem. It is very close to the night market 900m behind Chiang Mai University. On the first night, I went back to the hotel from the night market. The flying insects on the ground were scared to death on the spot, but it was amazing that the second night was gone. The appearance of the hotel is very high, the room is large, the hotel service is good, but the other is not satisfactory. Specifically, look at the needs of individuals.

The booking with Trip.com was easy and straight forward. We booked bunk beds in a private room for 2 person but was told the room wss occupied and not available. We were offered a 12 bunker bed mixed dormitory instead. The hostel is located outside the old Chiang Mai town, about 15mins walk to Chiang Mai University. It is a nice quiet hostel but because it is getting warm thus it is unavoidable to have mosquitoes. The place is clean with a nice dining space with a microwave,fridge, hot water and washing basin. The hostel provides coffee and tea. They also have white bread jam and butter in the morning for us. The only set back was that there's a moldy smell for our bunker room. We believed that the place had not been used for awhile and the place had been surrounded with trees. There's an laundromat nearby.

I am super satisfied with the hotel I booked this time, it was a pleasant surprise. Service: The service is very good. They are all friendly and kind. They answer all your questions. Some of them can speak Chinese and helped to order a motorcycle. The tea and biscuits when we checked in were amazing. Later, we asked the clerk for the address of the store where we bought biscuits and went there to buy them as souvenirs. Hygiene: Hygiene is also very good. You can feel the care taken by the decoration and maintenance of the hotel. Facilities: They are all very exquisite and basically have everything you need. The swimming pool is only 1.1 meters, which is suitable for children to play. Adults may not be able to swim seriously. There is also a gym and a small bookstore. I like the free courses provided by the hotel the most. One guest can participate in 2 free courses. We participated in meditation and making small medicine balls, which was a very pleasant experience. An extra bed can be added to the room for 2,000 baht per night, which is very economical for 3 girls. The restaurant is beautiful, I like its display, and I was super satisfied with the breakfast. There are 3 categories: Thai, egg, and Western. You can order whatever you want. Plus some small buffets can basically meet your needs. You can order meals and have afternoon tea in the restaurant on weekdays, and there is also a bar in the evening. The glass of LANA’s secret is so delicious, although the alcohol content is not high. The hotel's bathrobes, pajamas and slippers are very comfortable, so you don't need to bring your own pajamas. Environment: Although it is small, it is very impressive. The plants are all just right, but it's a pity that the overall hotel is relatively small and lacks a small garden to wander around. Although it is close to Chiang Mai Airport, the impact of airplanes is not great because Chiang Mai Airport is not that busy. You can find airplanes passing by 3-4 times a day. In fact, Chiang Mai is so small that you can hear the sound of airplanes everywhere. The nearby Wumeng Temple, which can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes, cannot be missed. It is very unique. It is very close to the night market behind Chiang Mai University and Nimman Road. 15 minutes drive to Ningman Road. Therefore, transportation is still very convenient, and it will be even more convenient if you have a motorcycle. It is recommended to drive up Suthep Mountain to Shuanglong Temple to overlook Chiang Mai. The road is well built and easy to drive.

I was always greeted by Jenny on reception with a warm smile. After enjoying Chiang Mai city for 2 weeks i extended my stay and paid a good price for 2 more weeks. The rooms available are fan only or fan and air conditioning. Although there is no fridge in the rooms there is a communal fridge in reception which is always stocked with ample water, soft drinks and beers all at very cheap prices. My large room had a fan, AC, TV, wardrobe, dresser, king size double bed with very clean bedding, which can be changed upon request. The shower area, although a bit outdated, is still quite adequate. Panda House is located on a no through road, there is hardly any traffic outside and it is exceptionally peaceful considering how close it is to the city. I could take a slow walk to Tha Phae Gate in less than 10 minutes. Nearby Tuk Tuks are easy to flag down; or reception will order a private taxi in a matter of minutes. Panda House does offer a food menu, however there are endless bars and restaurants all within walking distance. I stayed for one month and had a very comfortable stay. Thank you.

QUU Hotel in Chiang Mai was the best hotel by far we have stayed in during our holiday in Thailand. The staff are fantastic and helpful and go out of their way to help you and make your stay one to remember. The rooms are almost brand new, large in size, clean and very modern and stylish. The breakfast is generous and fresh, and their cafe and coffee is also excellent. We highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Chiang Mai, and now wished we’d stayed in Chiang Mai at the QUU hotel longer than the 4 nights we booked. It is incredible value for what you pay. We’ll definitely be back to stay!

The room was great. When the host, sister Yiyi, showed me the room, I saw a very large floor-to-ceiling window as soon as I entered the door, with Mount Suthep outside. I fell in love with it right away. In the evening, I can always lie in bed and see the red sunset of Mount Suthep outside. The room is simple and clean. There is a temple at the door of the B&B in a quiet alley. The sound of wind chimes during the day is particularly healing. There are 711 on the left and right when you come out of the B&B, which is very convenient. There are so many delicious food at the door! The host, Yiyi, is Chinese and very nice. You can chat with us in the coffee room on the first floor. If you have anything you don’t understand during the trip, you can ask the people in the store. You can also hang out with other friends at the B&B. Highly recommend this B&B!

This is our second visit to Chiang Mai. This time my wife and I stayed in The White Elephant Home for two nights. The location is great, very close to old city, only several minutes’ walk. I prefer to stay outside the old city for quiet, clean and comfortable neighbourhood. We booked a room for two and they upgraded us to a family room for three. The room is spacious, new and clean with a lovely balcony. The interior and exterior match the photos and description on the website. Breakfast is freshly cooked and is delicious. We enjoyed it in the lovely garden. The staff are nice and helpful, they have friendly smiles all the time. They speak good English and provided useful information to us in buying Green bus ticket to Chiang Rai. I didn't drive this time but I saw them providing car covers to guests and helped to cover and to remove it. Will definitely stay in The White Elephant Home again if we visit Chiang Mai again. Highly recommend!

The hotel was in a beautiful lush green garden. Our room was huge and we even had a private garden. The hotel was close to the viewpoint and an entrance to the National park. There was also a cafe very close by with a large outdoor play area which was fantastic for my two kids. There were a few restaurants around and we found the stay lovely and peaceful. I stayed here for 3 nights on a solo trip and because it wasn’t my first time to the city, I was rather specific about where I wanted to stay, and I chose this hotel for its location in old town near to the many cafés I had wanted to visit. First app - the service. It was amazing! I was scheduled to arrive at 10pm and although the late check in procedure was originally a personal email on unlocking various locks to get the room as the lobby that connects to the bar was closed, after I responded, they actually said they will have someone to wait for me at the reception to help me with my check in. Already a very positive note even before I arrive! Check in was swift and the room was exactly like shown. Its not a style for all, but I love it. Its simple, classically modern and functional. My only gripe is that there are not enough power points near the main bed (or you will Need a longer wire) so you really have to charge your phones at the TV Consol (with my short wire) which means that you don’t get to have your phone right besides your bed. The bed is Asian style firm so if you like it cushy, then its not for you. The pillows were also not that ok, even though with 4, its not the firm kind so i did have trouble sleeping. But if you like fluffy kind, these are your heaven. The bathroom had all the amenities needed - toothbrush, cotton, et al., but no mouthwash, so bring your own. There is also handwash next to sink and a good hair dryer provided. Shower pressure was surprisingly good and the wall mounted heater means u can tune the hot water manually to your liking. The location is superb as its near Thae Pae gate and You can really explore the old Town easily within walking distance from this location. The hotel also has a coffee bar with very cool drinks.

We were a group of 5 friends and we were super comfortable. Bed and sofa bed very comfortable. The pool is a lot. But cleaning is paid (500b). No reception. The girl who sells the excursions is the girl who gives you the key and don't give you any information. We were still super good. Very good location. Just on the street of Night Bazar.

I booked this place after checking out the review and was skeptical since it is cheap and near the bus station, but decided to try it anyway. Surprisingly the hotel looks modern, carpark space at the back is big, right across a temple which is not too noisy, yet by the road side near the bus station (50 meters away) So it will be great for people who come to Chiang Mai by long distance bus. Safe and secure, nice room with big LED TV, big room and comfy bed. Tips : Ask for a quiet room and you will get one facing the back, even more quiet than usual. They have buffet breakfast too.

Excellent two night stay in this adorable boutique hotel located inside the old city. Beds were very, very comfortable. We stayed in the heritage house jr suite and our teen daughters stayed in a deluxe king room. Both rooms were spacious and wonderful. The food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent!! The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and polite. I had an excellent foot massage at the spa. We also participated in two OUTSTANDING tours (Northern Highlights and Chiang Mai CityTemples). My only regret is we didn’t have time to enjoy the gorgeous pool. We would stay here again.
