Nice hotel, good area, ok breakfast and clean room. Drinks in the Lobby overpriced. We booked the hotel specifically because it has a swimming pool. While checking in, we were informed it is for over 18s only. The person at check in made some vague comment that the pool is 1.1m deep and so not suitable for children. I could not find any comment on either the hotel's website or Expedia's (who we booked through) to say that the pool is for 18+ only. The hotel needs to make it clearer for parents that the kids cannot use the pool. Overall, the hotel seems to living off former glories while maintaining unrealistic prices.

The English language at the front desk of the hotel is not very good. There is a Miss Wu from the hotel management planning department who can be translated. It is very close to the bridge of Changliangchuan, and it is both left and left. I watched the performance in the evening. I got on the boat at 6 o'clock and then I got the boat to the river bank at 6:15. Then I waited. I waited for two hours. The Japanese brought their own drinks and food. We were stupid. No, sitting and waiting, there are still a lot of mosquitoes, the boat master to help everyone pass the time, take out the boat's clothes to put pictures for everyone, but also explain a lot of anecdotes about the performance, but unfortunately do not understand. The performance is about 20 minutes, and it’s thirsty and hungry. Then I went to the old street to find a place to eat. It’s about 8:30, there is no business, and there is no convenience store, then despair. Back to the hotel, because I always thought that the hotel only provides high-end fixed food and also booked the kind, so did not report any hope, back to the hotel and the front desk uncle crying that the restaurant is closed, no place to eat, hungry faint, Then the uncle said that the hotel has a small restaurant that can provide simple meals, like ramen, and we fainted, this time is happy. Say let us go! Then we turned to the corner and we took it to a small restaurant with a bald chef. It feels like an employee's internal restaurant, because the menus are all Japanese, and they are all kinds of noodles, rice, rice balls and the like. In any case, it is also a charcoal in the snow. The bald chef does not speak English. We use each translation software to communicate with each other. Finally, we understand. We have two rice balls, and the chef is afraid that our tastes are monotonous, suggesting that we have different flavors. Finally, I ordered a squid rice ball from a plum rice ball, and ordered a bowl of plum tea and kelp tea. It is very good to eat. The lobby on the first floor can be rested for free, sitting on the river bank and the smoking room is also facing the river bank. This is the most beautiful smoking room I have ever seen.

The hotel is located in a great location and while the amenities are limited but it is know for it hot springs. While we spoke no Japanese, the staff were truly exceptional and made is welcome and went the extra mile to make sure that we felt taken care of. The star manager for us was Sakuragi-san. He really made an attempt to keep us informed and was always asking us if we needed help -- which occasionally we did. 5* service. :)

This is a very good Japanese hotel, with a western influence. We had a room with two beds, a low table, tatami mat floors, and a nice balcony with a private outdoor bath. I would recommend seeing if you could get a room on the side with the river. You get great views of the river, Kinka-San and Gifu Castle, and at night you can see Ukai (Cormorant fishing that’s famous in Gifu) Breakfast was very good. It was a set menu, not a buffet, and it changes if you end up staying multiple days. Highly recommended by me! Always watch your head in the rooms, though. They weren’t necessarily made for tall people like me.

The Hotel Granvale Kiyama provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Hotel Granvale Kiyama is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Gifu. The hotel is only 2km from JR Gifu Station and 43km from Komaki Air Force Base, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. Keeping busy is easy, with Gifu Park, Koshin-do Temple and Gold Statue of Nobunaga Oda all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings.

Because of my condition a Non-smoking room is essential and the reservation staff were made aware of this fact. Despite this, even though I was staying in this property 4 days, upon check-in I was given a smoking room on a smoking floor anyway. Despite the sprays, the cigarette stench was noticeable on the couch, balcony drapes and carpet. I had to ask to be moved to a Non-smoking room, and they complied, but moved me to a much smaller(and cheaper) room on a lower level at the back of the hotel. The glass of the windows was matted over and could not be opened. There was a warning of insects entering the room if the windows were opened. The carpet in this room was also quite dirty, and could have used a serious cleaning. The hotel's French restaurant does not allow its guests(diners) to wear traditional Japanese kimono, but asks them to wear the yukata in the breakfast room, although this is not being enforced. There is a free shuttle to the two main train stations, but I was never informed of this. Therefore I had to needlessly waste 1000's JPY on taxi fares. Staff in the lobby café are nice. Hotel is pretentious and essentially offers the same service as any other lower-priced hotel, although its rooms are bigger.

コ ン フ ォ ー ト と い う means a comfortable, light luxury hotel. As the name suggests, this hotel makes people feel comfortable and at ease. Breakfast is free, which is the most cost-effective point. Breakfast is rich in egg milk and yak milk, miso soup, Japanese rice and more. There are delicious self-service coffee and 4 flavors, which are provided free of charge from 2 pm to 24 pm. As long as you can handle it, you can drink it. Daily necessities such as quilts are clean. The faucet is clearly marked: Tap water can be used for drinking. But please note that it is better to set the faucet on the cold water side.

The size of a hotel that lives as a person is ideal, and the two 26-inch boxes are fully open and have space. The geographical position is perfect, just on the right hand side of the famous iron, there is a very large supermarket in addition to the convenience store, from fresh to cooked food. The hotel looks very clean, but I found someone else's hair (psychological shadow) in the toilet, so I think the health needs to be improved, although it is rare in many Japanese hotels I have stayed in. . The service is very good, the front desk clerk is very patient, and I also provide enthusiasm for all kinds of help. There is also a sister who speaks Mandarin. It is especially good. Soundproof in general, but normal use is no problem, that is, a Sichuan compatriot lived in the next room, and it was very noisy and hysterical (WTF) in the morning, just woke me up, it was speechless...

Go to the transfer station in Gero, thinking that it is cleaner than Nagoya Station. The room is larger than the average Japanese hotel, very clean, two suitcases can be walked around, there is a double sofa and a coffee table. The JR station and the famous railway are almost the same distance. It takes about 10 minutes to walk. There is a shop in the famous railway station. The fried plum rice, the open fish and the fried noodles are great. Our two-day meal was basically eaten at the famous iron station, there is Starbucks, a very famous chicken restaurant chain. Takashimaya walked for about 20 minutes, very close to MUJI, you can go shopping together, here also bought Yang Shulin 416 and round tube 80.82, great!

With Mu Meng, this is the most cost-effective hotel I have ever stayed in in Japan. The room was a big one, and I quickly checked if I booked for one night. The suites in the middle of the two rooms can be accessed from both sides of the door, with two washrooms and a shower with a bathtub. From 3 pm to 5 am or 6 pm the next morning, anyway, you can soak in the hot springs. The hot spring is the mass naked soup for men and women, a pool in the indoor water is very slippery, very strong sulfur spring feel. The other is on the balcony, the branch fence separates the outside, but the air is not so hot, the water is the feeling of ordinary tap water. I didn't know if I hadn't eaten breakfast. The room has a charger with various heads. It doesn't need to be neat and clean. The most frightening thing is that the level of Putonghua at the front desk is too high. I just started to say that my friends and I thought it was a Chinese working, and there will be a little Japanese accent.
