- Musty smelling toilet - Very old fittings and room doors that don't close fully - Friendly staff but poor English overall and unobservant - Old-fashioned owner with very poor customer skills, cannot problem-solve - Bath and water mixer very hard to use as they are very old fashioned - Fridge full of cold drinks, but with no space to put anything except tiny bottles and some small items I was very surprised and unhappy with what the ryokan owner told us today - the last night of our 10-night trip across the wider Tokyo region. Some context first: my flight departs at 6.20pm tomorrow and we have to check out of our room at 10am, as planned. What was unplanned, was that I was only told at 7pm today that they would have maintenance coming so there are 'no staff' and 'the whole ryokan will be closed', so my elderly parents (78YO and 70YO) and I would have to take our 3 large luggage bags with us by 2pm. They will not be able to hold our luggage for even 2 hours until 4pm, nor will they be able to call us a taxi; we will have to walk to the taxi stand ourselves. What is funny, is that as I was negotiating with the owner in the lobby, 4 new guests arrived to check-in. Now, there is a whole hotel with numerous rooms and new guests, but he cannot (will not) hold our luggage for 2 hours more? He proceeded to tell us they 'are not responsible to us for anything once we check out' and that 'there is nothing he can do' and when I said hotels in other countries hold the luggage for their guests after they check out for the same day until the flight time, he said 'this is Japan, not other countries'. Wow. I get it that he's used to running things his way, but this makes for a horrible customer experience. We had booked this ryokan over 6 weeks ago online, so there were many opportunities to tell us in advance of this scheduled maintenance. One great opportunity was yesterday at 5.30pm, when we checked in. Side points are: - Staff are not trained on the safety equipment in the rooms. I had taken the emergency torchlight off the charging mount and instead of the staff reinserting it, I had to figure out how and tell the staff (to his credit he really tried) - Housekeeping were unaware they took my mother's personal spoon by mistake and phew! the translation issues... we got it back though - Housekeeping replaced the tolietries we clearly had no need of, but not the items we used up! Basically they gave us 3 more toothbrushes in addition to the 3 unused, but did not top up the cotton pads. It was all very clearly placed in the bathroom for them to observe. - Creepy horror movie vibes

I booked this hotel for one night because I had an early flight, but it was a pity that I only stayed for one night because it was better than I expected. Waku is a community in Narita. The hotel is located at the end of a nostalgic street. You can spend 1-2 hours walking from the street to the end! The hotel is new and clean, and the front desk service is also very good. English communication is never a problem! You don’t need to eat in the hotel (although you need to make a reservation in advance). There are many choices of restaurants nearby, but those eel restaurants close early, so please be careful! . You can walk straight to Narita Station, which is quite popular. There is also an Aeon Mall where you can go shopping, which is really convenient.

It is a very good location, less than 10 minutes walk from Narita Station, 5 minutes walk from AEON Mall, and Shinsho Ji Temple within walking distance. The front desk kindly explained the accommodation, so I remembered it and thanked the hospitality. There are coin laundry, microwave oven, ice machine, and currency exchange machine in the building, and juice and snacks can be purchased at 100 yen from the vending machine, which is ideal for long-term residents. Despite the restrictions on foreign entry, it may be a popular hotel because I saw many guests in the hotel. Disinfected stickers are attached to paper cups and disinfected places, and measures against the new corona are perfect. The accommodation fee is less than 5,000 yen and the cost performance is very high, but the internet is a little slow and the download was 0.78G, so the evaluation was 4 close to 5.

Hotel International Garden Narita presents challenges in terms of accessibility, as reaching it via public transport involves waiting for a local area bus and navigating a steep slope for 5-10 minutes. Alternatively, the highway bus provides a direct route but comes with a higher cost and limited time slots. A positive aspect is the hotel's provision of free Narita Airport rides twice every hour, offering convenience for travelers. However, the rooms may be affected by a peculiar smell, possibly attributed to the high humidity in the area, impacting the overall stay experience. Consideration of transportation options and the provided airport shuttle is crucial when planning a stay at this hotel.

You can walk from Narita Station. I felt as satisfied as I could expect from the guesthouse. Clean and clean and well organized! You should be careful of your email address because it is self check-in. The lounge-like space was toxic. Japanese style! Check-out time is a must, but I said I was a little late and was caring to finish the preparation. I think that I'm warming up at this moment. I will leave a review on purpose! The photo is a shopping street near the guesthouse. There was no photo of the hostel...

location was good, opted to stay here for last night in tokyo as we had an early outbound flight at narita. quite 2 stops to narita terminal 1 in the morning. there was free hotel shuttle to narita airport but we opted to take the train ourselves to catch some more sleep. had fun exploring nearby aeon and yaoko marketplace.

Good size room. Was surprised there was even a full size bathtub, uncommon for a Japan business hotel. Drip coffee and green tea were supplied in the room. Location was excellent. Free airport drop off which saved us a lot of trouble. Friendly front desk. Highly recommended.

You don't need to take a bus to the hotel. You can take the Keisei Electric Railway from Narita Airport to Narita City. Two stops. It is very convenient for tourists like me who only stay for a day. The railway system is very convenient, but Narita Station does not seem to be designed for tourists. So if you have only one piece of luggage, you can barely cope at Narita Station. It is quite tiring to walk the ladders of the station with your luggage. Telling the exact location of the airport requires you to do your homework in advance and study the map. Walking to the pedestrian channel of the elevated railway can see the hotel. As for the hospitality, I would like to say that this is a Japanese-style hotel rather than a Western-style hotel. The check-in staff was very service-conscious and thoughtfully led me to the hotel on the third floor. The lobby did not belong to the hotel. As with all other government policies, passports or Japanese identity certificates are required at check-in. I found that their English skills are still no problem in communication, but don't expect all your questions to be answered. The hotel room is quiet, clean and comfortable. The size of the Japanese-style hotel room is dwarfed by the nature of the Western-style hotel. However, the basic needs of staying can still be met: tables, bathrooms, beds. The view of the room is very boring, facing the wall of another building. There was no smell in the room and it was super clean. Breakfast is served in the morning. The supply time is the same every day. This is the style of Japanese work. It is not possible to advance or push for a minute. The food is not Western, so there is no need to be hopeful. What impressed me most here was its cleanliness and service quality, although the name of the hotel looked a little cheaper than other hotels. Much more comfortable than the so-called comfortable hotels I have stayed in North America. Only stayed for one night and left early in the morning, so I didn't know the check-out time. After I checked in, I took the train to Akihabara and Tokyo. The hotel is located in Narita City. From the hotel, you can go to the other side of the city. You can find these attractions of the Buddha Temple in half an hour. Along the way you will find a true Japanese life, feeling different from the rhythms of life in western Tokyo.

The location of the hotel is very close to Narita Station, only 15 minutes away. Of course, the hotel also provides a very convenient pick-up. The hotel rooms are top-notch at the same price, well-equipped, rooms with toilets, both the owner and the front desk can understand Chinese, near Narita This homestay is considered the best value for money, thank you very much to the boss to get up at 6 o’clock to take us to the station

The room is bigger than a lot of Japanese business hotel. I am able to open my full suitcase and still have a lot of room. Located easily just one train station away from airport. Best option for transit customers.
