      I did a two day solo trip to Tokyo. This hotel was perfectly located and easy to get to by the JR line. The staff was excellent and very friendly. They recommended places to eat around the hotel that were delicious! The rooms are small but, functional for a solo traveler. I would recommend anyone to stay here if they are doing a solo trip.

      This hotel is very close to the Kameido Station on the Sobu Line. Exit from the east exit and walk around the north exit. The front desk is 24 hours. On the first floor of the main building, there is no front desk in the other building. There are coin-operated washing machines and dryers on the first floor of the building. If you live for a few days, you can pick up your toothbrush and toothpaste comb on the first floor of the building, and you can get a new towel at the front desk. The room is not very big, but it is enough for two people. I have lived in the main building and the other building. I feel that the other building is a bit old but clean. There are microwave ovens, kettles, refrigerators, wardrobes, TVs, air conditioners, and you can borrow cooking utensils at the front desk, but I do n’t know if there is an extra charge. I stayed here for five days, and it is convenient to travel. There are drug stores and convenience stores nearby. If you want to eat, there are many shops on the north side of the Sobu Line Kamito Station. The only disadvantage is that there is no cleaning service. If you need to clean more days, you need to pay extra. Overall the experience is good, if you go again in the future, you still plan to live there.

      How would you rate this hotel? It's really hard to say. In general, this hotel's equipment is very different from a Japanese hotel. Many of the equipment are imported. Delong's kettle, Nestle's capsule machine, and many electrical appliances are English buttons. There are few Japanese characters, and the rooms are super. As big as imagination, this is really not a Japanese hotel. However, the interior decoration is very Japanese, three separate bathrooms, Japanese-style grille, tatami floor in the lobby, and hotel breakfast with room service, all this is very good. However, I had a big surprise and a big disappointment. I checked in on the first day, went out in the afternoon, and went back to the hotel to take a bath at more than ten in the evening to find that the rain-fixing bracket was broken. I would wash it too late the first day , The next morning warranty, promised to find a way to repair, but not guaranteed to repair, if the repair is not good, you can change rooms, but only in the afternoon or the next day. Sure enough, I came back after playing for a day and did not fix it. In my opinion, there was no way to think about it. I went directly to the front desk to communicate and said that I can only change rooms the next morning. I got up in the morning and changed again, and there was only one night left. The daughter-in-law was too frustrating to move luggage to the room. I wanted to fix it with transparent plastic, but the front desk didn't agree, and finally borrowed a rope to deal with it for two nights. In addition, the next morning I emphasized that a bowl of salad should not have salad dressing. I remembered the next day and forgot it on the third day. In short, these problems are really too Japanese, the room was pleasantly surprised, and the equipment and service were disappointing

      Warm room, friendly landlord, and location is also very good. There is a post office out of the alley. Every night there will be an old man pushing a truck to sell chicken skewers (Birds). There is also a shrine next to the post office. There are three shopping malls, including banks, Chinese cuisine, ramen, Yoshinoya, barbecue, suits, cut noodles, chicken skewers, Izakaya, and pharmacy Kiyoshi Matsumoto (supports Alipay and WeChat payment) McDonald's and convenience stores. There are two 711, one Chinese cuisine, one Sichuan cuisine, one Cantonese cuisine, one game hall, one Mitsui and one UFJ Bank, and the Asakusa Express to the airport is one kilometer away along the river, a laundry room, and the end of the commercial street is JR Kameido Station is 7 minutes to Akihabara and more than 20 minutes to Shinjuku, which is very convenient. Basically what you need is near here. Do n’t ask me why I know so much. I have lived here frequently for the past six months. The location here is really convenient and powerful. It is highly recommended for tourists who come to Tokyo to stay and you will feel the real Japan. Style.

      We stayed here one of the three nights we were in Tokyo. It is about a 5-7 minute walk to the Kinshicho subway station. We got 2 rooms for the 4 of us and it cost about $120 per night per room which was decent for what we got. One room had a bath and shower and the other just a shower. The rooms are small but comfortable. We had 3 suitcases in 1 room but they fit ok. One of the things to note is that the doors to the rooms are outside similar to motels in the US. There was an elevator to the upper floors. The toilet is in its own tiny room/closet and the shower/bath is in another room. I think for us, the shower worked out better than the bath since we took a shower in the bath anyway, and in the room with the bath, the shower is supposed to be used on the floor rather than the bathtub so it was a little awkward showering in the bathtub. Great water pressure though and the heated toilet was very nice. We arrived around 10:30am and checked in but our room wasn't ready. The hotel was happy to store our luggage while we went out. In the lobby at breakfast there is some bread but we went to the nearby 7-11 to get food. There is also a drink machine where we tried the onion soup; it was interesting. One thing to note is when you check in (we booked through travelocity but didn't prepay), you are directed to an atm-sort of machine to pay and it didn't accept our credit card. We had to pay with a debit card that had a PIN number. The area where this hotel is situated is pretty quiet. Not much going on there unlike the next ryokan we stayed at.

      Kame citi is located in the heart of Kameido District (east of Tokyo), Closed to the famous Kameido Tenjin Shrine, on the JR Chuo-Sobu Line and the Tobu Kameido Line. Kame Citi neighborhood is very quiet and residential. You don't get too many tourists here, you get local, which makes it more interesting. The hostel has a real japanese vibe and decorated with the great japanese photographer, Osamu Yokonami's artwork all over, as the owner is a fan of the artist. It gives the hotel a particular charm. The rooms are super clean and with only 9 rooms, you are sure to have a good and quiet night sleep. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I really recommend Kame Citi if you want to experience the real Tokyo. If you want to know a city, it's always good to get out of the over-crowed and tourist neighborhoods.

      Their service is nothing short of excellent. They have staff who are fluent in English (and other languages as well, I suspect). Me and my friend came thinking that we would be staying in a Single Room with Extra Bed since that was what we booked as we attempted to be more economic. However, to our pleasant surprise, our room was upgraded to a much much bigger room for free. We are very thankful to the helpful staff for making our stay pleasant and extremely comfortable. The location is great as it in located somewhere in between Iidabashi and Suidobashi which is pretty much close to the geographical center of Tokyo. Head east you will be able to visit Akihabara and Asakusa quick. Head west, you will be able to hit Shinjuku, Harajuku, and Shibuya. The neighbourhood is fairly quiet and the Tokyo Dome is just a 10-15 minute stroll away. If I am coming back to visit Japan, this hotel will be a clear top choice for me. Haven't had the opportunity to have the breakfast at this hotel, but I will certainly try it out on my next stay here.

      I cannot recommend this hotel enough. From it's central location (right across the street from the Shinagawa train station) and close proximity to many restaurants and shops, this will be our go-to hotel in Tokyo. Perfect for first time visitors and frequent visitors to Tokyo because of its location, amenities, and service. Close to public transit was a must when evaluating a hotel to stay anywhere, especially Tokyo because I didn't want to carry/drag luggage far. This hotel meets that as the hotel is located directly across the street from the Shinagawa train station. Also, the airport limousine bus stops at the Shinagawa prince hotel. Location to transit made this one of the top reasons why we loved this hotel. There are a few towers on property so the room you book determines which tower lobby you check-in too. There are plenty of signs in english to direct you to the appropriate check-in lobby and the staff are more than willing to help as well. Checking in was smooth and quick as our room was ready (we checked in around 7pm), clean, and spacious. Like I mentioned, there are lots of room types available you just have to find one that works for you. In this instance, a corner room King offered plenty of room and a rather large bathroom for Japanese standards. We actually ended up with a killer view of the Shinagawa train station. Spacious and clean rooms was another reason why we loved this hotel. In addition to the hotel being close in proximity to a central train station (both JR and local routes here), there are numerous shops and restaurants within the hotel property, adjoining the hotel property, and within walking distance to the hotel. A 7-Eleven, McDonalds, and food court are a few of the options on property with endless options for eating and shopping within walking distance to the property. Close proximity to restaurants and shops is also one of the top reasons why we loved this hotel. Above all else, what makes this property stand out is the level of service from staff and the cleanliness of the entire property, inside and out. Ever single staff member we interacted with was kind, helpful, and respectful. Everything from the lobby, guest rooms, hallways and public areas were clean, really clean, something we loved. Again, I cannot recommend the Shinagawa Prince Hotel enough and we can't wait to come back.

      Good location. Close to Shinjuku station and Toyota Car Rental. Can take the Airport Limousine Bus to and from Narita or Haneda Airport around the corner at the Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku Hotel. A few nice diners and chemists in proximity. Very popular place and a little bit worn out. Small rooms small beds. The twin bed rooms have only twin single 3-1/2 feet bed. Its not even semi-double. Can't share bed with a young children at all.

      If you loves omakase breakfast at Toyosu market, shopping at Venus Fort, Diver City, Aqua City, visiting the TeamLab Borderless and TeamLab Planets, and hot-spring at Ooedo Onsen, that's the perfect location. Even gives you quick access to Disney resort and Haneda Airport! Small rooms as usual but the one with twin double beds is excellent for parents with two young children. The only downside is no car-rental nearby.
