The environment is very good and spacious. Although it is not a city center, the traffic is particularly convenient. The breakfast is 7 euros and you can eat whatever you like, with many varieties. There are strollers for rent at the entrance of the hotel. Many children play football on the first floor, which is good. The hotel can also call taxis for tourists, and sell transportation cards. The service is good, come next time

It is a suburb of Berlin, but in fact, it takes 30 minutes to get to the most central area of Berlin by tram. The hotel is about 2 minutes from the tram station, and the tram runs until 12 o'clock in the evening. Compared with the price, the price is very high. The hotel room is also large, with 3 beds, perfect for families with children.

Location is awesome. It's almost like living in a park atmosphere. Lots of walking trails nearby, close to downtown and most of the major tourist attractions, but still in a quiet area. Public transit is readily available (bus stop right across the street, and several trams within short walking distance). Front desk staff were incredible throughout our 5-day stay there -- from check-in to check out. As we were in Germany to assist a family member, ours was more like a working holiday than a relaxing one and although our personal circumstances were seemingly constantly in flux, the staff were EXTREMELY courteous and helpful in adapting our reservations several times. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. There is a nice beer garden in the back where you can get an early start on ”the German experience”, but don't worry about all-night partying or rowdiness...it closes around 9:00 p.m. so, even though we had a room right above it, the noise was never an issue. Rooms are well-soundproofed so getting a good night's sleep was never a problem either. I would give this place more stars if possible, primary due to the outstanding staff and service provided during our stay. This will definitely be our ”go-to” place whenever we are in Berlin.

Will go to spend the night. Nothing boded ill. As always, quickly registered, received an electronic key and moved to one of the three buildings of this hotel. A surprise was already waiting for me on the ground floor: of the two elevators, only one worked. I had to wait 5 minutes. Fortunately, the room was on the 2nd floor, but I could not find the stairs. Going to the number, I found that I do not have an electronic lock, but there is only the usual lock with a key (in the future I used a magnetic card only to turn on the light in the room). Moved back to the reception. The elevator called .... After 2 minutes of waiting I went up the fire escape. Reception again, took the usual key. The elevator waited again ... for 10 minutes already ... Well, okay. The room is big. Acceptably clean. Although I requested one bed, as usual, there were two shifted beds. I have not seen such a television for 10 years (even with a kinescope). Soundproofing is poor, especially in the toilet. When someone flushed the toilet from above, everything was heard not only in the bath, but also in the room itself. and since the room was on the 2nd floor, the noise was almost constant - the hotel is high. Parking is very expensive for such an area. Parking in front of the hotel on the street (free), or behind the hotel there are large parking lots (also free).

I will be working on a detailed review of this nightmarish hotel with photos and in-depth analysis but here is a quick summary till i finish my report on it Room temp: very hot, ACs not working, bring your own fans (high RPM fans with large blades recommended) Bathrooms: air freshener needed as the ventilation system seems to mix odors from all rooms and distribute it evenly Staff attitude: 60% very very helpful, 40% very very racist (will detail the incidents later despite it has been denied by management comments on previous reviews ) Housekeeping: will make sure you wake up and open even if you have (do not disturb) leaflet on the door, twice a day at least No fridge in the rooms, get your own icebox You cannot choose between freezing cold/scorching hot in the toilet and shower, the building itself will keep changing it for you, standard shower = 1st degree burns + frost bites No kettle in the room to make tea/coffee, you must wait for restaurant to open so you can buy coffee, and if the restaurant was staffed by the above mentioned 40% and you are not blonde or you skin color is 1 degree darker than average European, expect your request ( and eventually your presence ) to be completely ignored in depth details will follow, working on it stay away from here

The hotel is in East Berlin. It seems to have been renovated by a factory building. The housing space is not large, but it is adequate, clean and cost-effective. There is an Asian supermarket next to it. It is run by Vietnamese. The pure ribs only cost 5 euros per kilogram. There is a bus in front of the hotel. Car M8 can go directly to the railway station. It is very convenient for us to go from Berlin to Frankfurt. Simple accommodation is quite satisfactory.

There are four supermarkets around, shopping is very convenient, walking to the Berlin Wall for an hour, friends who like to walk can walk, there are many graffiti super personality, super beautiful along the way. The transportation is very convenient, and it is not too far from downtown Berlin. The hotel is clean and the little brother at the front desk is handsome. The room is clean and the surroundings are quiet, suitable for two people holding hands for a walk? Without slippers, lazy men need their own toiletries and slippers.

The location is good, it is very convenient to go to various attractions, and you can walk or take public transportation. Shopping around is very convenient. Reception front desk and doorman service are very good and very polite. The hotel's decoration style is more ancient, and it doesn't matter if it is different from person to person. It is difficult to comment. What the individual doesn't like is the breakfast mode provided by the hotel. The buffet style on the table is only a small variety of bread, butter, cheese, sliced meat, a little fruit, a little juice and so on. Any omelet or egg, or sausage, or hot vegetables, must be ordered in a variety of language menus provided by a single door. Although the speed of serving after ordering is OK, the taste is average and even disappointing. The taste of the drink is average. The overall feeling of the hotel's breakfast quality is not worth the price it sells. In particular, if you are accustomed to eating a self-service rich breakfast, you may not be able to adapt to this breakfast mode.

We always tend to stay here when in Berlin as the location is perfect for the gay area. Hotel staff are very friendly & accommodating. Room was warm & comfy but some of the furnishings are looking a little outdated now. Cleaner didn’t automatically come every day which was disappointing - no doubt another ridiculous Covid19 rule. The fridges with minibar seem to have been removed from the room which is a little annoying - shall we blame covid19 for that too?! The hotel also expects you to wear face masks which is a bit unnecessary as you can walk round any bar, restaurant, or shopping centre now without the need for a mask. I don’t blame the staff In the hotel for this rule but the company needs to get a grip & realise that most travellers are fully vaccinated now. How else could we have got to Germany in the first place? Having said that, we would stay here again as overall the facilities & location are good.

I have seen many hotels in Berlin and this one is by far the cleanest/most hygenic one! Especially now during Corona times, they literally send their cleaning team to sanitize door handles etc. every hour and they have a full no-contact check-in and check-out system that works by a telephone service that is always there for you. The cozy rooms and excellent location at Rosethaler Platz makes the stay just perfect. A secret tip: ask for one of their ”signature rooms”, created by local Berlin artists (no additional costs charged). Definitely a recommendation for everyone!

The location is very good, next to Alexandria Square, the transportation is extremely convenient, and the shopping is extremely convenient. During the epidemic, there were no guests, I booked an 8-bed room, I was alone for two nights and another guest for two nights. The hygiene staff was once on Monday and the cleaning was extremely inattentive. Room facilities are still very good, there is a big iron cage at the bottom of the bed to enlarge the luggage. I am very satisfied with this at such a special time, I am really worried that they can survive ...

Because we are two girls to go to Berlin to play, so it is quite important to stay safe. The location of this home is very good, there are subways, supermarkets, commercial streets, and Chinese restaurants (the reviews are quite high, but I did not eat). It can be considered as a quiet place. The hotel is quiet near the hotel. It will go back around 11:00 in the middle of the night. There will be no strange people wandering around. But after a five-minute ten minute walk to the commercial street, curry36 also has a branch there. The hotel looks like it will be after 3 pm, but you can leave your luggage in advance. A credit card guarantee is required before check-in, and if not, a debit card is also available. The English at the front desk is also good. (In addition, the iced peach steam in the lobby is very good) I live like a suite, 59 flat. Is the entrance to the living room? There is a sofa TV or something, going inside is a bed, a wall behind the bed is a table, you can make tea or coffee. The wardrobe is also over there. Overall it feels quite big, there are two bathrooms, the shower and the bathtub are separated in the bathroom. (The only downside is that the bath water is easy to overflow, and the bathroom is a wooden floor. It takes a long time to step on it. It feels a bit uneven.) Breakfast did not eat, so I don't know, the overall is a good hotel, not expensive, the service is not bad.

The location of this hotel is good. There are two Chinese restaurants nearby. Go right and turn left. The first owner of the restaurant called Green Restaurant is more enthusiastic. KADEWE Shopping The mall is about 10 minutes walk away; it needs to be emphasized: the hotel room is small, Wifi can only connect one device at a time, the speed is normal, the room just entered the moldy smell, originally wanted to change the room, the next day tastes slightly Better; convenient transportation, a few hundred meters in the vicinity is U BUS station or 100/200 station; next time it is estimated that this hotel will not live, because of the taste of the room, wifi, and cost. Front office needs training. Urgently. When I arrive at the reception, I expect 3 things: 1) a smile, 2) ”welcome”, 3) explanation of all the hotel services. (I won't go so far as to push for a ”Thank you for your loyalty”.) None of this was provided. Check-in was rushed and chaotic. I didn't feel welcome at all. My status was also ignored and the welcome drink voucher wasn't prepared, I had to ask for it. In a 5-star hotel? Terrible first impression. Embassy room far too small for the price and with no functioning A/C. It was like a sauna! I don't care if it was unusually hot in Berlin, I expect a full functioning A/C in a luxury hotel. When I asked for the room to be cooled down, because I thought I was doing something wrong, I got a fan. A nice gesture, but a bad sign, indicating that the A/C isn't really working. In an extremely expensive 5-star hotel?! Bed too hard, I had to ask for a mattress topper. The receptionist didn't understand what I was talking about, so I left a note to the housekeeping team. When I asked her for the pillow menu, something I expect in a luxury hotel, the same receptionist asked me what kind of pillow I wanted. How can I say if I don't see the pillow menu?! I guess it doesn't exist? In the end I just asked for a feather pillow. Of course, I didn't get it. I guess they don't have feather pillows at this supposedly 5-star hotel. I could go on... Breakfast, again, not worthy of a 5-star hotel. The a la carte menu is so short that I couldn't believe my eyes! And why was there no buffet on Sunday? Buffet is supposedly served on weekends. Let me guess, a la carte breakfast costs the hotel less? The staff at breakfast were very nice though. They should switch places with the receptionists, to be honest. I was very unlucky in that I dealt with the same receptionist every time. An incredibly cold person who has no place working in the hospitality industry. She didn't even ask me whether everything was OK at check-out. That was probably smart as she would have got an earful. Good things about this hotel are the location next to Tiergarten and the welcome amenity was very nice. The building itself is beautiful but a grand exterior and a spiral staircase do not a 5 star hotel make. The service was so disappointing that I couldn't believe it. At 450 EUR a night, this is an incredible insult. I will never return. I am aware of the staff shortages and all the challenges the hotel industry is facing, but if you're going to charge so much money, I expect to get my money's worth. All in all, an incredible disappointment. In conclusion, the impression I got is that this hotel only cares about your money and not your satisfaction.

We spent 3 days at Gorki last week, slightly early Valentine’s trip. We love it as it’s just easy here, spacious apartment, clean, modern, great location and in one of the best cities in world! We cooked one day and ate out the rest of the time. With so many bars and restaurants within walking distance, you are spoilt for choice! Regarding the review below, not sure what that’s about, we’ve never had any issues, hence our third visit and not our last. Also, we just loaded the dishwasher ourself, we didn’t need the room attendant to do it! Love the personal service too, when we booked our visit, Constance messaged me the list of rooms to choose from, from the category we had booked. This was great as each apartment is different, no 2 are exactly the same. We are working our away across the different categories :) We asked for a late check out and were told it was €50, we declined that, but we were able to stay in the room until 1pm. We’ll be back in the summer, see you then!

Before I comment the hotel, I would really like to mention the Receptionist Mo!! He was at the check in when I got there, and immediately saw his positive energy and vibe and at the same time professionalism, which is very important as it’s the first impression when you step in the hotel. He also speaks couple of foreign languages such as Russian, English, Italian, German... I am working as a GM of Korcula Hill Resort in Croatia, and I have to say that every hotel should have at least one Mo!!! Very smart and polite guy, and really hope he will be soon upgraded to a higher position in the company as I’m sure he’s capable of managing more complexed stuff, situations and business decisions. Amazing guy!! Also, another young receptionist Ane, I loved talking to her on Spanish and we laughed a lot during my stay. Very cool persona and her English, is just brilliant with nice accent! As A Moxy lover, I have to say that this Hotel, again, was very modern, cool, funky, colors and decoration everywhere, the Vespa at the entrance... Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the view not bad at all. Water pressure in the shower was perfect! Breakfast was good too. The location is great, only 300m to the S Bahn/U Bahn lines, very good connection with the city and Tegel Airport. I believe the Gym is great as well, it must be a stunning view at the area around the hotel... If you want a 5 star service and you don’t want to pay the fortune for it, book immediately this hotel!
