Great breakfast The location of the hotel is a bit biased, but there is a subway next to it, you can take the subway. We are called grab, and it is not expensive to the city, around 150 baht. Dinner was only eaten at the hotel for one day. Others were eaten in Ban Nai. After all, it was recommended by Michelin. It was not bad.

The fourth house in Bangkok, there is no harm without comparison, each has its advantages. First of all, the location is not too biased. If you take a 25-minute taxi ride to Siam Square, it is very convenient for shopping nearby. There are KFC and McDonald's within 15 minutes walk of the mall. If you are tired of Thai food, you can go there. The front desk speaks Chinese and is convenient for communication. There are a lot of occupants. It can only wait until 2 pm to checkin. The internal environment is very good. It is surrounded by a swimming pool. There are many sofas and deck chairs on the first floor. Sofa mosquitoes are not recommended. The room was clean and the decoration style was very fond of it, but our two adults and one child were slightly cramped and the room was empty. This cable TV has something to like. You can see Chinese channels and cartoons. Children will pass the time without getting bored. Breakfast bad review, too simple, only Western + Thai hot and sour soup Finally, the only thing I can't stand is that Wifi is too slow, I can only brush the circle of friends, the sound insulation is also poor, and the balcony fans are loud.

Highlight is the check-in breakfast are free to offer if you were arrived earlier than 10am in the morning, or maybe it is just fit to current covid situation. Overall experience are excellent, very good for hotel enthusiasts, Spa was closed due to the outbreak serious situation in Thailand, the best thing is there wasn’t many ppl in the hotel, feels like you own everything as you stay at home. Food are quite ok. Easy to see that the owner is very good at decoration. A lot of painting and antique things full filled in the hotel. So it is good for photography.

After our 16-hour-journey from Germany to Bangkok we decided to stay in the Shanti Lodge for four nights. If you prefer living in a quiet, authentic neighborhood but at the same time central - Shanti Lodge is the perfect place for you. Within a twenty-minutes-walk you find yourself on Bangkok‘s most famous road for backpackers, the Khao San Road. For those who do not want to walk, it‘s possible to take a boat that takes about 5-10 minutes to the city center. The boat station is about five minutes away from the Hotel. In general we would recommend to use the boat to get to the temples, markets ecc (it‘s a cheap and fun way to see Bangkok). The neighborhood of Shanti Lodge offers several possibilities to eat. There are a lot of local street food places to experience the extraordinary Thai cuisine. The food at the Shanti Lodge is delicious as well - especially breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and cosy, the hotel has a laundry service. Moreover I would like to emphasize the positive, cosy atmosphere in the restaurant and lobby (there are a lot of plants)! Summarized: Shanti Lodge is the perfect place to stay for a few days Bangkok!!

Hotel location is close to Khao San Road, the hotel is very beautiful, very quiet, fully equipped, the size is right, the room is equipped with a balcony and shelves for clothes drying, very convenient, the hotel service is also very good, the first night at 2 o'clock in the morning to the hotel The hotel arranged for people to wait, and there was a drink at check-in. The room was on the fourth floor. The hotel was very intimate to help us get the luggage. Every time it came in, it was a smile service. There is a convenience store next to the hotel, there is also a small stall for locals to eat, fruit market, very convenient ~ very satisfied.

Let me be frank: book this place. Without hesitation. It is, hands-down, the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed at, including hotels. In my list of accommodations, it’s tied for first place with a 5 star hotel. Seriously. The fact that it’s a hostel and is therefore incredibly well-priced (especially if you catch an off-season deal) seals the deal. What makes it so good? ...basically every detail. Good location - Centrally located but not in a busy area. Two 7-Elevens are a five minute walk away. Not particularly close to a BTS station, but you can easily take a cheap Grab/taxi for shorter trips or to the nearest station for longer trips. The big shopping centres are only 10-20 minutes away by car when traffic’s good. There’s a beautiful temple just around the corner and the Golden Mount temple (a must-see!) is only a 10 minute walk away. Excellent breakfast - The best breakfast around. Seriously classy and tasty, with fresh orange juice. Made to order. Fresh fruit, eggs on toast, salad, and some kind of protein (usually ham & sausage) all in healthy proportion constitute a typical breakfast. Mmm. Excellent café - The Thai tea (hot or iced) are so so good. The best I had in Thailand, and I tried a lot of different Thai tea! The food at the café, like the breakfast, is so delicious. Highly recommend. There’s live music sometimes, which resulted in one of my favourite memories of Bangkok: an evening where I just sat and soaked up the excellent music for a couple hours. (Their typical playlist of jazzy tunes is also really good!) The facilities - Secure rooms, good size lockers, spacious rooms, comfy common areas, ample washroom access and everything squeaky clean. Stylish - The vintage look is so picturesque and photographable. All the décor oozes class and attention to detail. If you’re like me, you’ll want to take pictures of everything from the café to the food to the common areas. It’s all really well thought-out. Supremely friendly staff - This is the most important part, I think. The staff can make or break a visit anywhere. Here, the staff will make you feel so welcome! Always acknowledged when you’re coming and going, always so friendly. The owner, Mac, will be sure to personally introduce himself if he’s not there at check-in and will check up with you throughout your stay to see if you need anything. He’s more than willing to offer advice and will happily give directions to your taxi driver over the phone and help flag him down (thanks again, Mac!). The people here are amazing and I appreciate all of their work to not only make me feel welcome, but at home. (And the two cats are so cute and friendly!) Overall, I have zero complaints about the week I spent here. I can’t think of a single negative. I hope to come back to Bangkok again and if/when I do, I will most definitely stay here again. Anyone I know who plans to visit Bangkok will get a link to this property. It feels luxurious but won’t break the bank - w

Only one advantage is that it is close to the airport. Everyone else can do it. When I booked, I need to pick up the phone in the order. When I was ready to take off, I didn’t know how to pick up the phone. I called the hotel and asked him how to pick up the phone. The hotel communication was not good, it would not be Chinese and English. I understand that he replied to me to find a booking website, and then I found Ctrip, Ctrip as a middleman, this is not good enough. Then I waited for an hour and a half to Ctrip to reply. After arriving between 4f3 and 4, there is a place of 5 square meters dedicated to the hotel and various pick-ups. The names are people, many people are sitting inside. L24 is shared with another hotel, a piece of paper, and then everyone can unclear the order and show it to others. Don't ask, others will help you find the person in charge of your hotel shunting, because sitting inside There are so many people, I was not sure if it was the place to pick up the plane. The person responsible for dispatching the vehicle is a very full woman. Without a smile, the tone is fierce. The driver who picks up the plane does not take the initiative to help with the luggage. If you sit in the first row, you can see that the driver’s center console is very deliberate. A 100-pig banknote, and when it arrives, it has the action of taking the center console. I asked for a tip, but the people I passed didn't see it. Only when I saw it, I chose to ignore it. First, I didn't like to reach out. Second, his service was not worth my tip. If you want to drop off (only one-way pick-up service) or late check-out (check-out time is 12 noon), you will have to pay an extra 100 pigs.

Time Sabai 134 is a very good place to stay. It beats all the expections of a hostel. It is pretty new. Located along the bank of Chao Phraya river. This was the time I lived on a self-help trip nine years ago. Going back again is to ask for a convenience and parity. It is on the edge of Khao San Road, but it is not troubleous. I want to make a road to Khao San Road. It will be quieter and safer than living on Khao San Road. There is a swimming pool upstairs, but this time we didn't go up, we will consider staying here next time, because it is too convenient and too cheap~ but the room is simple enough for backpackers. I like the design sense or choose another one~ The picture is a laneway restaurant that comes out, and the atmosphere is quiet at night~ It is another style of Khao San Road area~

Well, where shall I begin! This was our first stay at The Athene Hotel and check-in was first class. We were facilitated by Sopeido (hope I've spelled that right), such a polite individual with a lovely smile. We were upgraded (lovely) to a delightful king sized room on the 24th floor. Our room had everything and more to make us feel that little bit special and the bed was so comfortable and cleanliness was at a premium. All the staff we encountered were so helpful and nothing was a problem during our stay. The gym and pool facilities are excellent, in particular the gym equipment is so modern and the changing rooms are 5 star. Breakfast is up there with the best of 5 star buffets. So much choice and tastes across the board. Again the staff were so helpful in these stressful times. The lobby area is luxurious and the ambience so relaxing. Will we visit again? You can be sure of it and we are already looking to book a stay again in the near future, but for a longer period of time. Pros: * Overall: A new, clean & spacious Hotel even though only 3.5 stars. * Price: Affordable room price which is inclusive of breakfast & WiFi. * Staff: Friendly, helpful & prompt. * Room: Spacious with kitchenette, sofa, working desk, dressing/make-up area & bathtub. * Additional Merits: Lift is customized for wheelchair (one of the rare initiative by small hotels). * Instagramble Hotel (though we didn't take much photos because not our priority). Cons: * Location: Nothing along the street except a coffee house which is a walking distance too (along the main road). * Breakfast: Yummy traditional Thai and Western cuisine, but everyday is same food, We stayed for 5 nights so by the 3rd day we started to get bored of the same food. * Swimming Pool: size of a Jacuzzi tub and too exposed (on the street). * Convenience Store: should make use of the empty store space (beside the swimming pool) to open a convenience store for Hotel Guests. * Hotel Signage at main road: As per attached photo, there is a lighted Hotel signage along the main road during the evening hours. However, when we returned back to Hotel late at night, the light was switched off and thus Drivers had difficulty to find it in the dark. Suggest to on the power till dawn. * Soundproofing: Needs improvement as able to hear the noise at corridor. * WORST CON: We would give a 5 star rating to Onyx Hotel if not for this issue - No peace enjoyment at times, especially when the tour group are out/back from activities. Morning we are awaken by loud conversations, even to the extend of shouting & screaming. Night is even worse - guests gather at the level 4 common area to chit chat till late and one guest even took a chair to sit at the corridor & blast loud music on HP. Sincerely hope the Management can improve on this area. OVERALL: Will stay there again if going to RCA area everyday.

Can be understood as a domestic hotel chain with a pool. You can check in after 14 o'clock, you can check your luggage and play until you come back at night before you get your room card. The rooms are very new, no toothbrush, no socket on the bedside, can not smoke, there is a small window as if there is no, the hotel has a battery car to the intersection, convenient for bts and taxi. As long as it is not in the rainy season, there are several large trash cans and rats on this road. There are several hotels around four hundred. This is a good choice. There is no time to go to the pool. The front desk speaks well, smiles well, and simple oral communication. Does the water from the shower smell like disinfectant? But the skin was fine for two days. It is not easy to disperse the room without some windows. It's low season and it's quite quiet at night. Booking in advance with a coupon in the early 300s, I feel that I can accept that I want to continue to live, and the result is nearly double the price. . . Because I always go back to bed at midnight to go out and feel that it doesn't matter. The taxis here don't like to beat the meter, they all bargain on their own!
