I think this place is a great value. It is much nicer than other similarly priced spots. It is in the center of town (short walk to galleries and restaurants. The front desk staff was friendly. There is free parking. The rooms are spacious. The bed was comfortable. There is a refrigerator and free coffee in the room. You can also get breakfast for an extra $6 (cheap)! My only complaint was that my room did not have very good water pressure, but this was not the case for my other 4 co-workers in their rooms, so it must have been a fluke or quirk of my room. No biggie!

Great time but book the room for 130 then decide to book for another night for 130 I'm pretty much got bummed out when we realized online from the hotel was 85 wondering if we got a great deal I know it was a great stay will stay again but really looking for that discount and I was stoked to get a free drink and snack on my birthday but yet the second day they completely ran out of breakfast so make sure you're the first 25 to get a sack breakfast or you won't get one

We just needed a hotel for one night and The Econo Lodge seemed to fit the bill. It was a nice hotel, adequate breakfast, clean comfortable rooms, etc. Excellent help at the front desk. And unfortunately we needed the desk help because I booked and prepaid for the room using the Entertainment Membership Coupon site. Upon arrival the hotel had no record of prepayment. Victoria worked very hard to determined what happened. She called HotelBeds USA who handled our booking for Entertainment card and went to extra lengths to figure out where our non refundable payment went. We enjoyed our stay but would never use Entertainment OR HotelBeds USA. Both companies blamed the other and neither one could tell us where our prepayment went. It didn't go to Econolodge. A big thanks to Victoria at Econo Lodge for helping us so much. We would definitely stay here again when in Yakima.

Air conditioner was marginal for the heat. Had more than 5 TV stations on flat screen tv. Remember to bring your shampoo for the shower. Room was clean and managers were attentive to you needs. Was close to Target for food. More than one homeless person walking through neighborhood all hours but managers would take care of that and mall security did rounds every hour. They honor AAA and AARP discounts. $78.05 including tax.

We were coming through Yakima and stayed here. The property is very well maintained, and the people are quite friendly and helpful. The hot tub is great, though actual jets and bubbles would make a difference. The breakfast was very nice too. The fitness room needed some work, several things were broken, the room was very hot b/c the ac wasn't turned on, overall a good stay. The biggest complaint is something the hotel can't do much about, and that is it's location. There are some boarded up buildings around them. However, this is just the nature of Yakima from what I could tell. When we were there next, we tried another property just to see if it would be better, and the hotel again was very nice, but the surrounds are questionable (and it was in a different part of town). I wouldn't let this stop you, the hotel was very nice and I'd go back again.

Having traveled for 400 miles we were ready for a nice, quiet, clean room. Since I'm a member of Marriott Bonvoy we pre-selected the Fairfield Inn in Yakima to spend the night. Check in was a breeze; however I forgot to claim a military discount so the room was $149 for the two of us. The room was nice, small bathroom, but the pillows and the bed made up for that. Really a nice sleep. Breakfast was typical with a very nice selection of fruit, cereals, hot foods, and yogurts. One thing I really appreciate is the availability of newspapers. I'm from that age when we enjoyed the news and the cross word puzzle. Fairfield had a local and a national paper available. Nice pool, nice gym room but we didn't take advantage of either. When it was time to head west, it took about a minute to get back on the freeway.

I had a great stay here. I was in town on business for three weeks. The hotel staff was very accommodating. The front desk lady Renee went above and beyond making sure my crew was cared for. We live on the road and she had the bbq set up outside for us to cook on. It was nice to see them taking a active roll in the covid fight also. Everything was clean all employee's were wearing masks. They even sanitized the pens after every use.

This is not The Four Seasons, but if you want a comfortable room for a few days while on business or visiting the area, this will do the trick, with rates much lower than neighboring hotels. They are right on the water, and there is a nice walkway on the river, which is great. The breakfast is hot, pretty decent. Bring an extension cord with a few outlets because from a technology standpoint, they need some updating. Zero USB ports. Very few AC outlets, and, the actual bath and shower are in a separate room, but the "bathroom" sink and toiletries are in the end of the main room. Not so great if one person is still sleeping, and the other is getting ready to go to work... Good Manager's reception nightly with a soup and salad bar, and a free drink. Nice touch. Also, the food at the restaurant is pretty good. The location is great, close to the main freeway, downtown, but far enough away to be quiet and enjoyable.

We only had to stay one night at the Comfort Suites in Yakima. The room was extremely clean, roomy and well appointed. Although it seemed a bit spendy for Yakima in the winter time, I thought it was money well spent to get a very nice room. Seems trivial, but the coffee pods in the rooms was WONDERFUL! I asked the front desk, but they didn't know what kind of coffee it was. Maybe someone from corporate can get back to me and let me know :)

The location is very good, it is easy to find and the parking lot is big enough. The room facilities are good, clean and comfortable, the hotel offers a complimentary breakfast, although not too rich, but the price is very high.

Very nice accommodating staff, quiet, clean and comfortable. It was near a park and very accessible to highway and shopping. I stayed for a month and felt as close to home as possible. I highly recommend this establishment.

We wanted to go on a trip and relax by a pool but thanks to covid that was almost impossible to find. Hotel Y gave us exactly what we were looking for! The hotel has been recently renovated with modern design. The price point was perfect and the bed was comfy and the room clean. The pool is in the parking lot and not renovated which seemed odd at first but it is clean and once inside the pool area it was just what we were looking for. We basically had the pool to ourselves! The only thing that was a downer was the room/bed didn't get cleaned after the first day. This might have been a covid impact though so I didn't count it against them. It just might be good to know at check in. Good food in the area and we took a cool bike loop ride and great food places nearby! Happy with our stay.

We stayed in Yakima this time on our return trip from the southwest. I had booked the hotel online, not knowing what to expect and not knowing the area. I think next time we would stay in center town as it may offer some interesting places to walk. For us, this was not memorable in any way except for the good night's sleep. The view from our window was of a mobile home park, which while not the best of scenery, was exceptionally quiet. We were surprised to hear that there was a HS basketball tournament on and that many people were staying at the hotel because we certainly didn't hear them. The breakfast was good with vegan options. If all you want is a good night's sleep, this is the hotel for you. If you want to be in a historic area or looking for interesting scenery or restaurants within walking distance, then probably somewhere closer to town would be your choice.

An overnight stop in Yakima on our way to Colorado... booked a king room on the ground floor. Excellent rate and an outstanding bed! When I told the desk clerk the next morning that it was very comfortable she told me that every king mattress on the property was brand new. Noise from upper floors was not too bad, but a newer property might have been quieter. Complimentary breakfast was above average with excellent coffee and ample room for us. We would stay here again and have no problem recommending it
