We stayed here for a night. It's in the centre of Bremen and the interior is great! It's a space themed hotel. The rooms are rather small and aren't exactly soundproof. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was tasty. You definitely get your money's worth and I would even dare to say a little more than that. There is a garage but we thought it was tricky to park, especially when driving away through that driveway.

Upon check-in, the lady recepcionist said loudly that we got an upgrade. I corrected her saying I booked and paid for a suite so there is no upgrade. The next day, while inquiring about breakfast price, another lady recepcionist mentioned, again, that we got an upgrade. So I asked about the upgrade and she said we (3) can use the bicycles for free. Excuse me, that is considered by this hotel as an upgrade? A full day's train ticket for the three of us costs EUR14. We paid EUR23 per day for parking at the hotel basement, EUR22 per head for breakfast which is not worth it. So let's put things in perspective. I would consider an upgrade to be free parking or breakfast included for example. The room can get warm at night/past midnight. I think air conditioning is somewhat turned off after midnigt? 'Note that the hotel still uses heavy duvet even during summer. It would be unfair not to leave a comment about housekeeping. I cannot fault it. It is always refreshing to go back to a clean, pleasant room after a day's walk/trip. The ladies were friendly and accommodating.

I stayed at the ACHAT Plaza for just 1 night (thankfully) and then moved to a service apartment the following day. The hotel is situated very close to Hauptbahnoff, the central train station in Bremen and there are plenty of eateries and restaurants around. It's about 15 minutes away from the airport and costed me 20 euros by taxi. My check-in process was very smooth but the real problem started when I entered my room. I was given room number 324 and upon entering, I realised that the carpet was totally damp. It was completely soggy and was difficult to walk around the room barefoot. I informed the staff and a lady promptly arrived to check. When she realised the problem was genuine, she informed me that the previous occupant was probably careless while having a shower and thus the water had come outside. She couldn't answer my questions as to how the whole room might be wet if this was the case. I suspected that it could be a seepage problem but she was adamant that that wasn't the case. When I requested to be given another room, I was informed that the hotel was completely booked and there were no spare rooms. I was quite sure this wasn't the case but I couldn't do much. The lady, whose name was Irina [-], apologised profusely for the inconvenience and offered me a complimentary drink and desserts. As there was nothing else for me to do, I accepted the offer and went down to the restaurant and was then informed that I could only have a glass of champagne and a chocolate mousse dessert. Nothing else was complimentary and I was not given any choice. The mousse itself was tasteless and it appeared that I was being discouraged from ordering anything more. I was so disgusted by this time that I even went to another restaurant nearby for dinner. The breakfast in the morning was an entirely different matter and the spread was large and the food was very delicious. However, the hotel was understaffed and dirty plates and cutlery weren't cleared even after people had left their tables. I checked-out after this and Irina again apologised sincerely but I was quite happy to be leaving the place.

The hotel is located in the city center, surrounded by downtown commercial streets, and the traffic is fairly convenient. Welcome chocolates and fruits are provided on the day of check-in. There is also a handwritten card, which is very warm. There are also disposable slippers and toiletries provided in the room, which is not easy in Europe, and it is considered very thoughtful. The hotel’s breakfast is quite plentiful, but it’s a pity that I stayed there for 3 days without any changes. I eat exactly the same thing for breakfast every day, which is a bit crumbling. The hotel does not have free parking. You have to park in the parking lot next to it for 12 euros a day. If you can’t find the parking staff during non-working hours, then you have to pay 12 euros for each entry and exit, which is very inconvenient.

Stayed for 9 nights at the Radisson Blu in Bremen for a recent trip to my parent company located in Bremen. The Radisson Blu is the only hotel I stay in whilst in Bremen, I enjoy the facilities and atmosphere. Even during Covid times and increased restrictions (2G) the Radisson Blu maintained a Christmas atmosphere and kept all facilities open. The staff, as always, maintain a friendly and helpful attitude, especially the Breakfast staff and in particular Vesna who is always a friendly face in the Breakfast hall. My only complaint was that whilst the Sauna and Gym was open, in spite of repeated requests the water fountain was not fully operational (no CO2 for sparkling water, water turned off and warm water). However, I am sure that this was only a small glitch and will be rectified in time for my next visit.

I seldom write reviews, even though I travel a lot for business. But I was really impressed by the service quality provided by the Steigenberger teams, both at the reception and in the hotel bar / restaurant. I seldom have seen such a level of friendliness and dedication, with a staff going out of their way to make one almost spoiled and exceeding expectations by far. Beyond that, great rooms (with a real desk one can actually work on!), fantastic breakfast buffet and a lovely hotel cat to make your stay even more enjoyable.

Maritim Hotel offers a classic, somewhat 1940s feel when walking into the lobby. The rooms, modern, however not losing touch of the historic hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom is a good size, but the shower is what I want to emphasise on this review. I've traveled to 26 countries, but this shower is the best I've had in any hotel by far. Generous in waterfall, easy to control the temperature. A shower before bedtime set me up for a great night's rest and one in the morning started my day with positive thoughts and a healthy mind.

This newly decorated hotel could be reason enough to visit Bremen. In stark contrast to the backside of the trainsation, the Parkhotel is easily accessible to and fro, it does reflect the rich history of this very old town. You have all amenities you can think of. The rooms are, however, a tad small on occasions. The bathrooms are clean and nicely done. So ask for a bigger room right when you check in. Breakfast is plenty, smokers room is fantastically refurbished and will accomadate even the ardent non-smoker. The restaurant is well groomed, the food is good also. The staff is friendly, welcomming and always ready to help. You truly can spend time here not feeling guilty not to stroll during the park in which this hotel is resting. Strangely though, I asked for some photos from previous years to see what the hotel looked like before it had been refurbished. But you will not find any. Not even on the internet. It feels it never existed before.

The hotell was close to the main autoroute connecting Hamburg and Oldenburg i Germany. It was situated in a quiet area with little to do outside the hotel. But the rooms were very good with two good chairs which is important if one wishes to sit in the room for some time. Furthermore there was a good restaurant with a buildover terrace. The food was excellent, especially breakfast, which was abundant. The staff were very polite and smiling, both at the reception disk and in the restaurant. Wifi did function well. Unfortunately the beds were too hard. Furthermore we had to climb into the bathtub in order to take a shower. This is not ideal for elderly People, especially not since the tub was very slippery. It would have been better if there was some anti slip in the tub. If the hotel has rooms with just a shower, this should be mentioned somewhere.

Very convenient access from the airport to the hotel as it’s located literally over the road. Lady greeted me at the reception, proceeded to check-in early as I was there an hour before scheduled arrival. During the check-in I was informed that there isn’t any restaurant or bar open on the premises, bare in mind please I left home 6:30 am and at this point it was 2pm so the only option was McDonald’s down the road. Went in to my room. Very pleasant I have to say, comfy bed, “warm” bottle of still water on the counter plus tea and coffee included in your stay. Considering it’s a COVID pandemic rooms are claimed to be extra clean by hotel, that unfortunately wasn’t the case. During a shower I was stabbed with short dark hair in my toe, ( not mine ) it basically hurts like a splinter. After taking a closer look at the shower floor it definitely wasn’t properly cleaned or cleaned at all. Had to depart early so went to breakfast at 7:00 am. Restaurant was empty, except friendly writer and a chef. I have been handed the menu, I believe it was supposed to be buffet style breakfast but giving the situation we are all in it wasn’t an issue until I saw the menu. Available food was bread, cheese and jam which cost €9 not even a boiled egg. I enjoyed my bread roll with cheese and listened to very unprofessional conversation between waiter and chef during the whole meal. I always book my trips with breakfast as it’s a very convenient way of starting early day but I have been told I have to pay. Booking.com always provides very detailed booking and breakfast was included. Unfortunately time wasn’t on my side that morning and I haven’t had time to argue my case. I will not be staying in this hotel ever again. I have traveled a lot and this isn’t a 4* hotel. Very disappointed. I give two stars as bed and pillows were comfy, otherwise it would of been one.

When I heard the cleaning voice in the morning, I hung out the sign of no bother, so as not to let him knock, but the cleaning staff knocked, and when I left the hotel door when I took the sign to tell him, did you not see me hanging this? He happened to be the other waiter who was not speaking to me, and I was leaving, and had already gone a few steps out, the lady who was speaking to him called me, and took the sign and told me, "You don't put the sign back in the room? A retaliation for what I said just now." They cleaned the car at the door of my room. I know that they can go home after cleaning the nature of their work. But the people who cleaned the room are inconsistent with the purpose of their hotel. I don't want to live in the future. I was unhappy when I left the last time, leaving a bad impression on this hotel. I've never lived like this before.

Me and my friend stayed 4 days in this hotel, and it was a delightful stay. We arrived very early around 7 a.m, we went to the hotel expecting to just leave our luggage, since it is too early for the usual and normal check-in time. To our surprise, the lady in the reception said our room is ready. So after a long night trip, we we're able to sleep a little and freshen up before starting our visit in Bremen and Hannover. The hotel is small but everyone is very nice, kind and helpful. The breakfast is good too. I gave it a 4, because the cleaning department is not that good. I drop my compact face powder, and though they vacuum cleaned the floor, they miss some spots enough for us to notice that the floor was not thouroughly vacuumed. Still I would recommend this hotel. Location wise, is just 5 minutes to the main central station, and around 7-10 minutes walk to the centre/shopping area.

A trip to Bremen can be made from time to time. Good, cheap and centrally nightly can be taken at B&B Hotel Bremen. As all B&Bs are also pursued here the concept of limiting themselves to the essentials. The rooms are thus conveniently furnished and clean, more is not brought to city tour from my view. The location behind the main station is also refurbished by its centrality. The bus line 25 is just in front of the hotel and brings you to the city centre, the battle and the main station in a few minutes. However, the absolute stick is that you are directly on the popular festival. When you are just free market you have the best outlet conditions for a great evening. All in all, with the B&B Bremen you can hardly do something wrong.

The hotel is located 2 min from the station and in 5-7 min. on foot to the Old City and Market Square. The room has a well equipped mini kitchen including dishes, teapot and microwave. All new and functional. The mattresses are convenient. Excellent sound isolation: the station opposite, but with closed windows is full of silence. Near the hotel is a large supermarket REWE, in a walkable availability of many other shops and cafes. Staff is polite and competent. Because it is an apartment hotel, there is an opportunity to wash things, and on each floor a separate room for garbage, which is very convenient. The hotel liked, I recommend. It is necessary to take into account only two factors: Breakfast is worth 18 euros, expensive. Cleaning is only for 8 days of stay, but for my three nights it was important not.

It was clear that under Covid19-Bedingungen hotel stays would also be affected. Finally, for the reason we had rebooked our original Crete summer holiday to a apartment in Schleswig-Holstein and a hotel in Bremen. After a week of apartment in Weissenhauser Beach, we wanted to stop three nights in Bremen - almost on the home trip. Our travel agency had also immediately forwarded to us the instructions of the organizer TUI that "performance components (e.g. restricted pool use, menu instead of buffet) are affected". That sounded not so bad and beautifully nothing-saying. (K)A pool would have been no problem. The chosen hotel, Bj.1956, last renovation 2017, was something outside the city, which was ok for us because we were on the way with two cars. The hotel offered a good breakfast buffet, which was important to us, according to the invitation and reviews. The rooms were clean, in our DZ there was enough room for his luggage, the shower (= space for a person) had a window. The bathing was limited to three ceilings, which was too little to shake for example. The mattresses of the beds were good. Unfortunately, the television offered only 4 German-speaking (private) television programmes. No public-law. In response, the staff member in the reception said a network part was defect and the technician would not come until Tuesday (the day of our original departure). The hotel's three-thread lift, which was subsequently installed in the staircase, was placed for 3-4 people (identified for 5). Parking was sufficient. In the immediate vicinity, about 800 meters away, the shopping centre "Waterfront Bremen" was located with "Fresh miles" and cinema. The hotel staff welcomed us and pointed to the kind of breakfast: Due to a small breakfast room - for Corona hygiene requirements - at the desired time (paper) bags with two (!) coated breads would be offered. Coated by choice (S******en, cheese, salami or uncoated) Further breads would only be possible for an extra price (!). On a buffet in a small neighbourhood you can then fill your bag with: Musli-bar, a yoghurt, plastic-packed sauce or a waffle, a cooked egg, a apple in plastic film, a pear or banana, marmelade, a small tetrapack O or multi-sap, mineral water, tea (the water was to cook) or coffee from a full-automat. Many times were asked by the sign to take only “1 part per person”. The breakfast takes place in his room. Now the two double rooms booked were different sizes, not four chairs were provided, but space, to be able to get breakfast together. In addition it was muffled in a room like after very old socks. Unmuting whether this disgusting greeting message we searched on

I loved my time at Best Western!! I stayed here for 8 days with my wife and son and we found the apartment large and comfortable. The location is ideal and is just a few hundred metres away from Hauptbahnoff, the main train station and there are plenty of eateries and restaurants around. There is a large REWE supermarket across the main road but beware that it's closed on Sundays. From the airport, it's a 20 minutes taxi ride to this place and will cost 20 euros. Breakfast was included in my package at an extra cost but the spread was disappointing and the menu was the same everyday. As it was Christmas time, the hotel was packed with travellers and it was also difficult finding a table in the mornings. But the staff were very friendly and warm. Bremen also has one of the best Christmas markets in Germany and its about 4 tram stops away from Best Western. But it's also easily walkable and it takes about 10 minutes.

Having stayed at Hotel Universum before, we again booked a busines plus room with air conditioning. We had chosen the Universum for the easy access by car and the excellent nearby tramway to the city centre of Bremen. This time we also preferred Universum for its apparently very strict Covid-19 measures. First impressions were excellent. Greeted by a friendly and very precise women at the reception and by a nice comfortable, very clean room. Next two days we also enjoyed a very good and fresh breakfast with lots of choices and very attentive staff (tall man and young woman), making sure that everything was kept shipshape. A model of efficiency and quality. Alas, the third and final day meant new staff at breakfast, with a much more leisurely approach. Didn’t made sure that enough clean plates were available, didn’t fill up the scrambled eggs container, and the delicious bacon had completely disappeared, dirty plates were left at our table. Antithesis to the previous experience. And it continued, when checking out the man at the reception was wearing the required mask, but only over the mouth, thus defeating the whole purpose. Made him aware that he had to cover the nose. Well, we hope that Hotel Universum in the future will want to keep up the standard set by staff the first two days.
