Stayed for one night - July 2018. The hotel is very centrally located near the old town of Vic. The room was clean and tidy and the air conditioning in the room worked so well that I woke up freezing in the middle of the night because I had set the temperature too low just to be on the safe side. Good breakfast and English speaking staff. Would visit again.

I stayed here for business whilst visiting the University of Vic. The hotel is in a beautiful old building with a gorgeous garden. The room wasn’t huge but the bed was large and very comfortable and the shower was excellent. The breakfast selection each morning was plentiful, including plenty of fresh bread, pastries and fruit. The staff were very welcoming, exceedingly helpful, pleasant and well presented. When I asked for an iron to press shirts, they took them away and did them for me (no charge). I was doing a lot of work and the WiFi was reliable and super fast. I understand it is quite a new hotel and it has been decorated to a high standard. It is in a nice location, very close to the main square in Vic in the narrow, cobbled streets of the old town. I didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t comment but I would certainly stay there again.

This hotel is situated opposite of the hospital in Vic. Don't make a mistake. You might think that you are IN the hospital if you are in the hotel, but you are wrong. The rooms, the smell, the decoration, it all reminds you of the hospital. Don't take the elevator! if you step in, it moves about 30 cm down and you may fall down in it. Take the stairs, but be aware that some steps are broken. The rooms are poor. very poor. My toilet was in my room and so was my bathroom. When I was taking a shower, or went to the toilet, all patients of th ehospital could see me sitting. There are no amenities. If you take a shower, the room is flooded. No minibar, no water. nothing. really nothing. Walls are made of cardboard so you hear everything in all rooms around. you want to sleep? forget it!!! Breakfast is poor. When I checked out, the lady didn't even thanked me. She is, just like everybody, waiting until this hotel will close so the rooms can be a part of the hospital. Stay away!

We have stayed here a few times when we need to get away from city life as a perfect tranquil location to relax. Unfortunately this time there was a music festival (Bioritme) across the lake for the 3 nights we stayed that could be heard until dawn when it finished (not the fault of the Parador, but will note the dates for next year). The room was great, and bathroom looked to be recently renovated. We dined in the restaurant and there was a good choice on the menu. Food quality was excellent and as with the bar, service could not be faulted (unlike some other Parador's). There is a very nice pool, and grounds to relax in. Location is great for exploring the many beautiful villages nearby, or taking a walk up to the monastery. Plenty of parking in front of the hotel. This time we had a room on the 2nd floor above the reception, where we could hear the TV of the room next to us and also there was noise in the area above the room late into the night, so suggest checking room location. Although will not stop us going back for another break, just not when it's Bioritme

Slightly unusual welcome in that in mid-afternoon I had to call and wait for someone to come and open up for me, but once that hurdle was overcome I found I had a large, simple but comfortable room with a nice, big bathroom. I suspected at first I was the only guest (the restaurant was closed on my first night), but the scene was lively enough in the bright, cheerful bar when I went down for breakfast the next day. I enjoyed the riverside position, and subsequently had both a good salad lunch and a simple but tasty in dinner in the restaurant, which is called La Coca del Ter. At the price charged I would happily stay again.
