Arrived at Regensburg by Train, got a taxi to the St Georg, it was apparent from the taxi journey that the hotel was not in the town centre (Which I expected), it seems to be located in a residential area - There is within a 15-20 minute walk an Italian Restaurant and a couple of Petrol Stations. The check in was efficient, but was informed the restaurant was not open on Sundays (So a walk to the Esso Petrol Station for some provisions had to be made). So up a flight of stairs to the first floor and to my room, the room was clean and had a nice big LED TV, good broadband WiFi connectivity (In fact very fast WiFi, which was good to have). I had a Single bed room, a lot of dark woods and definitely a 1980's style about the decor (I seem to be finding these hotels on a regular basis !). The breakfast was good, a nice selection and choice and I made use of the restaurant on the second night (Monday), the meal was excellent and a superb Apple Strudel dessert (and the beer was good too). Check out was efficient and firendly, overall good business hotel, it is not near the historic town centre so if you are looking for something near the town centre, this would not be on the top of your list.

Although not in the city center, nice small hotel (on the upper floors of a building dedicated to rehabilitation klinik). We enjoyed the free access to in-door pool and saunas - super relaxing after a long and tiring journey. Very big room and bathroom. Had to keep the key with you all time, as reception closes after 8 p.m. Extremely quiet neighborhood. The Italian restaurant closed to the hotel was an excellent recommendation - best food outside Italy (Pizzeria Taormina) and open late (even after 10:30 pm). On the other hand, wi-fi was not accessible in the whole room, you have to be in the right spot to pick the signal. No air conditioning but room was large enough to have air and windows could be open. Very bad pillows, too small, too soft, but nice large bed.

I stayed a whole week at this hotel and felt very welcome and loved as a guest. I arrived quite late due to DB trains connections running late and after dropping them an email they were very helpful. They even made me some food as I hadn't eaten due to the trains. I always felt loved and they knew my tastes and I was always warmly greeted. The friendliness and personal care make a hotel stay. The faults identified by others do exist, but are an artefact of it being a small hotel. The internet could be annoying but I could live with it. The bed was hard, but good enough for me. The shown ran hot and cold, but I could cope. I've stayed in five star hotels elsewhere and felt ignored. Here I was recognised and welcomed - that makes a hotel. I can recommend and will be returning in the new year. It is a distance from the town, but it can be walked and is on a Bus route. It is near the southern end of the University campus which can also be walked. They have bicycles for hire. They have a swimming bath and sauna but I was working too many hours to use during my stay. The breakfasts I felt were excellent even when compared to top London hotels, and they are well aware of dietary restrictions having an excellent Gluten Free selection of breads and cereals.

The breakfast is a buffet of typical (delicious) Bavarian fair - breads, a wide selection of meats, and cheese. There was also cereal, jam, butter, etc. Coffee was provided and juice was also available. I left in the morning feeling full and productive. Get the breakfast, it's a relaxing and inexpensive way to start the day. I highly recommend this hotel, especially considering the food. The room was small (just a bed and a desk in close proximity) but it didn't bother me at all; I stayed one night and it was very clean. I arrived at 2AM and called ahead. The lady at the front desk was very friendly immediately arranged for my key to be placed in the drop box at the front when I arrived since their check-in doesn't stay open 24 hours. Everything went smoothly: I arrived, put in my code, got my key. A few minutes later I was asleep in my room.

The hotel is within walking distance from train station and downtown. I like having the nice grocery store just next door. No refrigerator in the room but nice modern room with good shower. The breakfast was simple but good value being included in the room. I would stay there again. I booked a standard room and they gave me a family room which was on the end of building and not a layout I liked so I got switched to a standard room. The airplay from phone to tv didn’t work. It would of been nice to be able to use that for next visit. I gave it a top score due to the lightning. I like being able to turn on just a few lights like they have in the bathroom. Quiet room and comfortable bed with different firmness on each side of bed.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Central Regensberg a few nights ago while we were in town overnight for his business. We were traveling with a group of about 30 people and check in was efficient and quick. We were in room 115. The beds were comfortable but we found the pillows to be way too soft. The bathroom was updated and clean; plenty of hot water and great water pressure in the shower. My only complaint (which I’m actually finding to be the norm as we travel through Germany), there were no wash clothes in the room. Overall, we were very happy with the room and bathroom. For breakfast, I had the scrambled eggs and sausage which was good. When it was time to leave the hotel, either the owner or manager was offering to make coffee to go cups which I felt like he was going above and beyond. It was a nice gesture. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone else.

This nice hotel is perfect located at the beginning of the old town area. Parking (ok it cost way too much but they advise alternatives as well) is at the back of the hotel. Because of the Corona, lots of additional safety rules but OK for us. Room very pleasant and on our request located at the back side of the hotel (view on our car and no noise). Shower a little bit too small but good water amount and good soaps etc. Bed very good. A/C appreciated as it was a warm day - in the night switched off and opened window for cool night air coming in. Breakfast complete and served to adhere to the Corona rules. Pleasant assistance from the reception and quick check-out. So can absolutely recommend this hotel.

Within easy walking distance from the city centre, the Luis Hotel is a bit of an enigma. A recently refurbished building inside and outside, it calls its decoration style “vintage”. This means no new furniture (perhaps except the beds) but an assembly of chairs and tables and accessories from the junk store, to recreate a 1950-1960 atmosphere. A shop also called “Luis” across the street shows off more of the same. Our large and high-ceilinged room was on the ground floor, with newly sanded old parquet and walls painted dark red or brown, a wobbly table as a desk and some more small furniture items. However, there is no cupboard to hang your clothes, only a few coat hangers on pens in the wall. Incidentally, this lack of wardrobe is not correctly mentioned on the booking platform I used to reserve the room. When you travel with a lot of luggage for two people you have a problem unpacking it all. The bathroom is not big but normal for this price level, just oddly tiled in a way to remind us of the 50’ again. There is a make-up mirror but not enough hooks to hang the towels for two people. There is no air conditioning, just a small portable fan to provide some cool in warm summer days. Breakfast is served in a café in the front of the building. There is everything you expect from a German breakfast: nice rolls, croissants and bread, meats, cheese, eggs, fruit, cereals, smoothies, jams, etc. All items were fresh and of good quality. Price/quality ratio is OK but the “vintage” look and feel, although professionally applied, may turn some people off when they walk in.

We drove to Regensburg for a weekend break, enjoying nearby Kaiser Thermal Baths (Bad Abbach) on the way. The hotel was a perfect choice: in the serene countryside and still near the City, with ample parking space, a beergarden, a big restaurant, and sauna/swiming pool. Renovation work in parts of the hotel is on-going, but our Triple-room/Suite looked newly renovated - spacious with cabinets; 3 right-sized/comfortable beds; a lounge set; 2 dressers, one with a big mirror, and the other with a TV on the wall (many channels + Sky) and mini-bar under; and the Toilet/Bath was complete with a roomy shower-cabin. WiFi is free and strong, and the Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, with sausages, salami and the like from the Hotel's own butcher shop. And the Hotel passed my "special" test for 4/5 star hotels - Champagne/Sekt/Sparkling-Wine was available to match the smoked salmon.

We stayed 5 nights and absolutely loved this hotel and Regensburg. The rooms were immaculately clean and well designed. There is no air conditioning but room fans were sufficient in the hot weather. Breakfast was also excellent. The breakfast area is small and can get cramped when busy, but this was only a small issue. The hotel is 5 min walking distance to the centre. Regensburg is a completely beautiful place and we enjoyed every minute here.

First of all - wonderful people at the reception, very friendly and helpful! :) It was my first independent trip to Germany and I felt very good and safe in this place. Great location - close to the train/bus station and a few steps from the city center. I really liked the decor of the whole hotel, the room had everything you need and nothing was missing. Clean and handy bathroom so it's very big plus. I got a room from the side street, so I had peace and quiet during my stay and I slept so well there. Unfortunately, I was there only two days and it was a pity to leave this place so I hope to come back in the near future and I will definitely stay there again! I found the water for the welcome as a very nice gesture :) Ich bin sehr froh, dass ich dieses Hotel gewählt habe. Vielen Dank und herzliche Grüße für die Damen an der Rezeption!

The location of the hotel is lovely - we had paid for a river view room and were pleased with the view we had. The initial welcome from reception was nice - we were early so we went into town while our room was sorted. It was an easy walk to town and the Christmas markets at the Spital on the otherside of the river as well. Parking was ok - €16 per night now, but it was secure. Most of the street parking around the area is residents only or with some restrictions, so we opted for this so we didn't have to move the car. The big issue we have with the hotel was noise - we were in room 203 which is just off the large atrium where the bar is. The noise travels up through this and into the rooms surrounding it so you can hear the noise and voices from the bar. There is no door between the atrium and the corridor that the rooms come off. We noticed this immediately and asked if we could move further away from the atrium as we are sensitive to noise. My wife, not feeling well, wanted some rest before we went out for the evening. Furthermore, there is piped "lift music" through speakers in every corridor throughout the hotel most of the day. Reception acted as if they had never had this issue before. They allowed us to see another room (the only one left they said) and this was significantly inferior to the one we already had, but was indeed quieter. We had a quick chat and decided to stick with the one we had and I went back to reception to inform them within 5 mins or so. What happened then was bizarre ; despite ME apologising to THEM for the inconvenience (such is my nature!) the receptionist reacted badly, threw the keys on the desk, sarcastically said "Have a nice day" and turned away from me. Another member of staff nearby was also a bit taken aback by this. All very strange. Anyway, the room we had was nice, if a bit dated, and we actually slept well in the end, but we do carry ear plugs for this kind of scenario. There was a large bathtub, which my wife approved of, however the shower was handheld and there was nowhere to attach it at head height over the bath. Given we were in an upscale room - I found this a bit odd and old fashioned. There actually would be room for a separate shower cubicle in the bathroom it was so large. But alas no. There is noise if you listen for it when it is quiet, but you might not notice it all the time. I would recommend the hotel ditches the piped music in the corridors though - this is easily heard through the room doors and some people do need to rest during the day as well as the night (when it is turned off). The bar man in the evening made up for the unpleasantness earlier in the day - he was cheerful and recommended a range of drinks. We enjoyed the view from the bar and the drinks we had there. The room wasn't serviced properly between the two nights and I had to go back to reception and ask for more tea and coffee - again they acted as if this had never happened before, but were helpful in

If there were a reason to travel, it might be the breakfast at the Orphee in Regensburg. But merely showing up in the morning and purchasing it from the staff would not suffice in attaining the level of zen you get when it comes as an included part of the stay at the hotel. Truly, time can stop for you when you stay at the Orphee. I always remember the clickety-clack of the wheeled suitcase as I pull it through the old town from the train station, turning onto Untere Bachgasse and coming up upon the hotel with the varied guests sitting outside all staring at the people who walk by. They try to add a French flair and achieve it on most days. The staff always seem relaxed and compel you to be the same. Book a room. The price is fair. They don't kill you during high season and don't give it away when they are empty. They ask a fair price for a service and deliver much more. The rooms include water and wine for your evening and the Orphee Breakfast in the morning. Breakfast has a few standard options, but if you need an egg and bacon, they not only bring it to you at no charge, but are happy to do so. They seem to know who you are, aren't worried about nickel and diming you, and just want to provide a comfortable atmosphere that is their artsy hotel-restaurant combo. Others have described the unique rooms, but I like the style and food that come with the Orphee. Yes, they have no AC in the hotel, so if that is key, then stay away. But for every other reason in the world, head there and renew your faith in travel. I myself travel a lot and am often in western chain hotels but the Orphee reminds me why travel is important and why hospitality can be beautiful.

We recently stayed here and were very pleased with the hotel as far as convenience, cleanliness, and ambience. It is a very pretty hotel as well. The breakfast was superb, one of the best during our travels. However, the hotel was quite the challenge to FIND as it is not accessible by car. I initially walked to find it and was informed of the preferred parking garage, that we eventually unable to find! Lots of construction and many, many one way streets...kind of difficult. I feel that the front desk staff was neither extremely friendly or helpful either.

This is a difficult review as there are some really good points and there are some not so good points to this hotel. Defuinately more work needed to raise it to a first class one. First the goods points 1. Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff 2. nice courtyard garden with all sorts of art around 3. Styling is really interesting with much furniture made from old suitcases. 4. Breakfast was good with proper english style bacon 5. very close to the town for eating and shopping And the not so good: 1. 8:30pm the hotel literally closes up and you have to call a security company to check in or if your keycard does not work. 2. my room had a double bed with one pillow and a very thin single duvet that only covered about half the bed. 3. Really nice shower but the drain is not well designed and after about two minute the entire bathroom started to flood As a short stay this is ok but i think more work needs doing just to raise it that bit more.

Those were my first thoughts when I walked into the room: wow, this place is amazing. The rooms are way above what you'd expect for a hotel in this price category, everything is brand new and the artwork is beautiful. The huge king-size bed is one of the best I've ever slept in. The bathroom is super modern and the whole place is spotlessly clean. The location is perfect and there is a big parking garage just opposite the hotel (parking is only 8 Euro for 24 hours if you stay here) The only slight downer was a bit of street noise, but this is almost unavoidable in Regensburg anyway since it's a student town and there are a ton of young people out partying every night (incl. during the week). Highly recommended this place, one of the best hotels I've stayed at. I'll be back. P.S. Adam on check-in is a legend too, funny guy and very knowledgeable about the area. And you get a free drink at the bar next door when you stay here, what more could you want?

With the Christmas Markets, weekend accommodations at traditional hotels were non-existent. We needed a 5-night stay. Arnulfsplatz Aparts worked well. It is located near 3 bakeries, a grocery store, the theater, and a bus stop in the Old City. The clean interior and kitchenette functioned well. Pay attention to which room you book as each one has a different configuration. The actual bed was comfortable. The negative was that the other bed alternatives (a futon like ottoman) were extremely uncomfortable according to the two children who described them as back-breaking.

My husband booked our stay at Avia because he had a conference at the Marinaforum conference center just a few KM down from the hotel. From the outside it looks like a very old hotel that is nothing special and I personally wouldn't have chosen it if I had booked the hotel for our Regensburg stay as I feel that curb appeal says a lot about how much you care about your business. That being said our stay at Avia Hotel was very good. The staff were super friendly and helpful when we had questions or needed a taxi. It was a very quiet hotel, we were likely the loudest there because we had our 9 month old who was crying loudly as she was sick most of our stay. The decor inside the rooms is also outdated and the bathroom was quite small with the shower door hitting the sink when you try to get in and out but we had such a good time that it didn't seem to matter. The breakfast in the mornings at the restaurant was also good. Sadly we didn't get a chance to eat dinner there but will try it if we ever come back,.

Stayed here for two nights. Hotel is relatively expensive if you look what you get, small room with small bathroom and tiny sink. Breakfast if you can call it so is good but funny, 2-4 bread, some type of salami but from each only a few pieces. You have to pay attention on stairs because the first one is higher then normal. But nevertheless staff is kind and helpful, hotel has a big free parking place and rooms have good sound protection and are clean. Location is good.

It is easier to choose Kempinski Hotel in Germany, and the location and service are among the best in the local area. This Munich store is located in the center of the old town, on a street with luxury brands. It takes only a few minutes to walk to Marienplatz, the Royal Palace and the Hofbräuhaus. Freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast is particularly delicious, packed in clear glass bottles. Although there are not many types, the meat loaf and small sausages taste good, and they feel better than the restaurants outside. The standard room is nothing special, the bathroom is quite spacious and has a smart toilet lid, which is rare in Europe. The hotel’s swimming pool is not big. Ctrip’s website says the hotel is closed during the epidemic, but it’s especially open during the summer. Two people are restricted to travel together at a time.

Very good, we are self-driving, the hotel parking charges 20 euros a night, but there is no need to stop the parking lot, the hotel door can be parked free of charge, many local cars parked there, just stop, just on the edge of the British park is very convenient, eat It’s good to have a good walk, the hotel has a gym and a swimming pool, but the swimming pool is a bit too small, not far from the bus, overall satisfaction, Hilton quality is still guaranteed.

Hauptbahnhof
Location is very good. The security around Munich Central Station seemed a little bad, but I was able to pass with ease because it was close to the hotel from the station. There were supermarkets and drugstores nearby, so shopping was not a problem. Because it was close to the city center, I could easily go sightseeing, such as moving on foot, returning to the hotel if I was tired, and it was the best for a stay of travel. Hotel facilities are also perfect. Thank you for keeping your luggage. We think that cospa is the best by service more than price.

This hotel is located across the street from platform exit 5-36 of Munich Central Station, Germany. The location is very easy to find, it is very convenient to go, there are pizzerias around the door, dm, muller supermarket, it is very convenient to buy daily necessities, and the price is cheaper than domestic A lot, great! I like this hotel very much. Although the room is small, it is enough for a night out, the sanitation is clean and the service staff is very nice! Satisfied! Will come to live next time in Germany!

The room is super large, with two single beds on the right side of the door and a large bed. In the middle is a large sofa bed, followed by a large row of windows. On the left is a large two tables, and there is a large cupboard recessed. Except that the bathroom is small, everything else is big! The front desk seemed to have only one person to receive, resulting in a long queue. The price without breakfast is too cheap. There is a McDonald's in about fifteen minutes. The hotel is not far from the supermarket. We bought bread and milk and went all the way. The underground parking lot is quite round, and the slope that is opened is quite steep, and nothing else is wrong.

Located in the central area east of the Munich River, two stops from the s-bahn to Marienplatz, four stops to the central railway station, and 40 minutes from the plane to the R platz subway station, which can be directly reached In the hotel lobby, there is a big supermarket HIT passing by underground. It is convenient for shopping and cheap, but note that most businesses close at 20 o'clock. Newly renovated rooms, full of holiday hotel classic style, clean and hygienic. Bath products only provide soap, shower cap, shampoo and the like, slippers, toothbrushes, etc. If you need to find the front desk, you can do it. I stored my luggage in the hotel for four days before flying to Northern Europe. I filled in a few items and quickly got it. Check out quickly. If you do n’t have any consumption, you can leave the room card at fast check out. problem. Breakfast is rich, with freshly made omelette and quiche, as well as soup noodles, instant noodles ... American continental breakfast is available, suitable for Chinese tastes. The price is very cheap in the simple and clean mid-end chain of the same level, the price is very high, I do n’t know when I will come to Munich next time
