The hotel is not far from the Kawaguchiko Bus Station, on a hillside by the Kawaguchiko, facing Kawaguchiko. Mount Fuji is on the back of the mountain. The hotel has a free hot spring. The breakfast was pretty good. Only two things were slightly disappointing during the stay. 1. The address of the asking card on Ctrip is wrong, which is harmful. 2. The hotel cannot store luggage after check-out. This is the first time I encountered it.

Stayed for two nights and finally I got a much better sleep for the first time on my 2 week trip! Breakfast was ok, not fantastic-the place seems very deserted with many shops shuttered quite early on and streets dark. The bath was decent but nothing to shout about. Overall a value for money place just don’t expect too much

Konansou was one of our highlights on our recent trip to Japan. My husband and I, along w our couple friends, stayed for two nights. The staff was so warm and friendly, especially Shirai at the front desk. She was incredibly patient and helpful as we figured out our bus/train tickets. They have a shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko station, which made getting around in the rain and with bags really easy. (Tip: there is a pay phone at the station if you need to call them when you get in— there are instructions and the numbers of local hotels posted) The food was amazing! Ikeda was our server for our in room dinners, and he was kind and knowledgeable in all the different dishes and how to eat them. I was blown away by the attention to detail and variety of food. It was beautiful. It was our anniversary and we received a special gift— thank you!! Breakfast was a buffet and had a huge selection! It can get busy but there is a lot of seating. Our room was huge and had a beautiful view of the lake and its own private onsen. We enjoyed the quiet and location, which was easy to walk to. The public onsen had so many amenities and was spacious too— not sure if I was lucky, but I was the only one there! We also got to do karaoke, play table tennis, and did our laundry. There was also a rooftop foot spa, where got views of Mt Fuji! Everything you need is here!

I stayed in a room with a hot spring bath on the Mt. Fuji side of the East Building. Blessed with the weather, I took a long view of Mt. Fuji from the evening to the next morning and soaked in the hot springs many times. (Laughs) The quality of the Kawaguchiko Onsen at this hotel is a neutral calcium, sodium-sulphate, and chlorine-based disinfection is heated and circulated, including a large communal bath and a private room bath. It is not a source hanging, but it is well managed including the spring temperature. It warmed up well. It seems to be a room meal, but I stayed at 々 at the end of the year 12/29 night, probably because there were many guests, in the dining room on the 7th floor, dinner was a course kaiseki dish, breakfast was a buffet. The beef stew that I expected was also served on the course because the amount was small, but it felt like a taste. Each was carefully cooked in a small amount, and the quality and quantity were satisfactory. I stayed until 11:00 in the morning, and I took a bath 5 times in another 々 large communal bath once, 3 times in the room bath. In addition, the large communal bath has a waterfall and an open-air rock bath in the foreground, and a large cypress bath in the back. I think the impression will change depending on the way Mt. Fuji looks, but I was lucky 々. Since it is the year-end and New Year holidays, the high accommodation fee is natural, but it was a satisfying content for the room, meal, bath, service, and environment that matched it.

This property clean, comfortable and the staff is very friendly. It's a small property and on a quiet side street, but also only a 5 minute walk from the main station so it's great for getting around. We very much recommend it. We were skeptical about the futon beds at first, but we found them to be very comfortable.

This is a gorgeous traditional hotel only a few minutes walk away from the Kawaguchiko train station. The staff here are super friendly and helpful, going out of their way to serve you when needed. Your room is very traditional with your bed being a futon. Whilst you can see Fuji from the balcony, you're also a 30 min walk away from some of the best views of Mt Fuji (of which the staff can tell you where to exactly go). You're also able to cook and do laundry here if you're staying as part of a longer trip in Japan and wish to do so. I would happily stay here again.

The photos of the room are exactly the same as those provided on the website, so there will be no disappointment It's a pity that the room was too late to take pictures when I remembered that day It is very close to large supermarkets and tourist attractions, and I would like to stay again when I visit next time

      - The room is nice and big, with a bathtub, a sofa, and room for luggage. I asked about the price of breakfast, but the answer was that there was no breakfast. -The hotel has hot springs + massage chairs (pay attention to the time). - There is also a shuttle bus (but please check with the hotel for details) -The hotel is 15-20 minutes away from the station (we took a taxi to the hotel), and there are several souvenir shops, restaurants (but close early, it is recommended to eat dinner early), and convenience stores around. - There are scenic spots about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, you can take the cable car up the mountain (pay attention to the time, it closes earlier) - There are mailboxes + souvenir shops at the station - The hotel staff is very friendly, come on

As a traveller with large tattoos, I wanted to leave a review here confirming that this onsen allows for guests with tattoos. This is the onsen review only. I went in the early afternoon on a Saturday and, while initially I shared the onsen with 4 other Japanese ladies, eventually I had the whole onsen for myself. Very hot water, 1 indoor pool and 2 outdoor pools, although one was not in use and empty. 1000 yen for 2 hours (bring your own towels), English website, easy to access from Kawaguchiko station.

It's really a great treasure hotel. It's at the foot of Mt. Fuji. The weather was so good when we went. Mt. Fuji took off its milk cover. The clouds in the sky are so beautiful. This resort is just hidden here, and the front desk is very enthusiastic , and Chinese service staff, too kind. Breakfast will be ready and delivered to the room, and the delivery time will be carefully confirmed. Have breakfast in the courtyard. In the hot summer of July, it is so cool here. The resort has a large field, and you can directly overlook the whole view of Mount Fuji from the viewing platform at the back. Isn’t it more fragrant than a net red check-in? Really awesome. The price-performance ratio is too high. Each room takes care of the privacy of customers and has its own name, which gives it a special sense of belonging. Every room can take a bath, 24-hour circulating water, so comfortable, in short, I highly recommend this store.

Located in the north of Kawaguchiko Lake, the first day to feel a little biased, the next day found that the net red punch card store is a five-minute walk away, very pleasant surprise, art museums and music halls are all around, 200 meters away from Kawaguchiko Lake, there are two convenience stores, it seems that there are many re-built projects. The hotel itself is a bit old, but very clean, can not wear shoes in, the room is big enough, there is a microwave, the reception staff is very thoughtful

The place was not very easy to find, but after asking the locals through the translation software, I quickly found the location, which is a homestay. The boss and the boss are very good. The boss is a photographer and took a lot of beautiful photos of Mount Fuji. The room was large, clean and the breakfast was very good. Close to Kawaguchiko, you can get up in the morning to enjoy Mount Fuji.

The hotel is similar to a Japanese-style homestay, it seems to be a family work, very hard work and good for the guests, so there is always a sense of comfort when staying in, in short, the service is ok, and the boss will give all the guests a praise! There is Mount Fuji on the front left of the hotel, so I have enjoyed the gift of Mount Fuji too much. The hotel is equipped with bicycles for guests to travel. Also: Ctrip, please thank the hotel on my behalf: I left the mobile phone and charger in the guest room due to personal negligence, and contacted by a third party. The hotel delivered it to me immediately. Thank you very much!

Did a 2 night stay to be able to see Mt Fuji and the lake nearby with my family. This hotel is near the bus station but it is a little bit of a walk from there. The staff was great and helpful. The room was quiet, a little larger than the standard Japanese hotel room even had a partial view of Mt Fuji. We had a small kitchenette. It was definitely dated and unfortunately had the hardest bed we ever slept on, no give at all. Pillows were no better. But having said that, they do have complimentary heating pads!! And they will provide additional pillows. The lake is in walking distance of the the hotel. If you walk outside the hotel and take a right, walk to the light. across the street and to the right is a secondhand store with lots neat things. Still, the overall stay was pleasant.

I stayed here at the end of my travel in Japan for three nights in between 19-21 January 2020. It was clean and very well organised. Hosts were extremely helpful and polite. I loved the outside onsen and used it early morning and late evening. Bus stops are very close to the property. The Venetian glass museum and the Little Prince Museum are also in near proximety. It was nice to stay in a traditional setting here following hotels. The floor bed on tatami was very comfortable. My room was pithch dark in the night. Overall, it was great.

This time I went to travel alone, but this homestay is very good. The cabin has two floors and all are cleaned! The toilet is separated from the bathroom, and there is a sofa and an open kitchen in the lobby on the first floor! The second floor is a bedroom. 2 single beds are added to the tatami outside the room. 4-5 people can sleep! The homestay is run by an old couple. The old lady is very warm and entertaining. In the face of foreign guests, she will take her mobile phone to explain to you. If you don't plan to stay in Asakawa or Kawaguchiko hot spring hotel, it is recommended to try this one! I hope the old couple will be healthy and see you next time! The only fly in the ointment is that Google map navigation is wrong, and remember to go around from a intersection behind to the last part, otherwise you can't find the way

They provided detailed restaurants and shops information about the district by sending us email. Free of charge bike renting service is also supplied. It is a house of average Japanese family. There are two toilets and one bath room with bath tube. There are three super king size beds in total. Each can fits in two to three people or more. I was shocked when I opened Ctrip. The order from a year ago has not been evaluated yet😂 Overall it feels great! The rooms are clean and comfortable. Each floor looks like a public bathroom and toilet. The restaurant is fully equipped and spacious. The location of the hotel is a bit far away from the station, but there is no problem with pick-up (but you need to pay attention to the time limit). The owner and his wife and shop assistants are very enthusiastic! The clerk takes a small book to learn the languages of various countries. Hello, goodbye is so cute. In addition, it seems that only Japanese is spoken here. The boss of the checkin gave me a few pieces of paper and explained it in detail for a while, including the room interior map, surrounding map, tour bus route timetable, Mobike rental car point and so on. Personally, I feel that it is enough for a person to play for two days around Kawaguchi Lake. The leisurely days of going to bed early, waking up, and relaxing are suitable for me, such as Buddhist youths. After the checkout on the last day, the boss and his wife escorted me to the station together. It was rare that it was sunny that day. I parked on the roadside and took a picture of Mount Fuji under a clear sky.

We did not enjoyed our three nights stayed at this place. Pros: Location is near the station about 7min walk 7/11 near by Clean showers Tea and coffee Cons: - check out is at 10am, we have travelled a lot and this is the earliest check out ever. We check out at 10:10am and the staff were already hurting us up to leave the property rudely by clapping his hands. -Very thin wall, you can hear everything - the rooms has a lot condensation when turning on the AC to heat up. -Rooms are very small -Super freezing in the common areas as there is not heating - bed mattress are super uncomfortable and thin and - Ah check in staff leave the lining outside for you to do your own bed, after a long journey last thing I want to do is my own bed. Cmon! -a bit expensive for what you get. - sofa bed is very uncomfortable maybe for a child but not for an adult Search Agoda and you will find better rooms for another $10 dollars on top

Even made lovelier by the people who run the place- Miki was very hospitable and her attention to details of the needs of her clients was amazing. The villa where we stayed at had a large balcony with superb view of Mt. Fuji. The bathroom also has the view. I wish I can stay longer. I will definitely stay here if I am in this area again. Came by during the coldest winter in Japan for years and was at first worried about the snow storm as our cars are not fitted with snow tires, so I decided to call up the hotel. On hand to assist is a very nice and kind lady by the name of Zora who tried to go all out to assist and though we asked if we can cancel the stay with no cancellation fees, she mentioned it was tough due to regulations from the booking website. Nevertheless she took efforts to keep me posted of the conditions in Kawaguchiko prior to our arrival and we finally made our trip there. The hotel is clean and new as it opened almost 2.5 years ago hence was dealt with the Covid pandemic and it was not easy for them to survive. The hotel has several Mandarin speaking staff and check in is only after 3 pm hence when we arrived the counter was empty and waited for a while for a Mandarin speaking Japanese to come over to assist, very helpful with suggestions but again they didn’t allow us to amend our stay due to the upcoming snow storm. In the end we decided to forfeit our 2nd night stay due to the fact we do not have snow tire and this is where I felt the hotel can be a bit more flexible by offering a discount. The rooms we were given is huge and spacious , as mentioned by Zora with a good view of Mount Fuji, however the view changes just the next day hence we are lucky to have a wonderful view of Mount Fuji from the room . Overall the stay was very good as staff are very helpful, multi lingual staff with one of the guy from Taiwan being able to speak Mandarin , English , Cantonese , Korean and of course Japanese. Breakfast is simple but very adequate .

The new house does not need too much description, my family is very satisfied. Provide services until you disappear from her sight. Since it was my first time to visit Mt. Fuji, I was worried about the cost-effectiveness. Although I regretted it when I first saw it on the roadside, after entering the room until the clerk came out and bowed to say goodbye, I felt lucky for my choice😁 The first worry (leaving the station It’s a bit far and inconvenient to go to scenic spots) It’s not necessary at all. The surrounding facilities are quite complete. There are commercial complexes and buses (green buses) leading to Lake Kawaguchi. Even if you just take a taxi, it won’t cost too much (you go out to relax and unwind). Don’t be too careful with your budget. Besides, the light is at its best around 9 a.m. Don’t delay on the road.) It is recommended to stay for three nights. I happened to encounter the beautiful scenery like the picture below on the second day. I hope you have better luck than me.

The environment of the homestay near Fuji Kawaguchiko is very quiet, the landlord's service instructions are also very detailed and good, and the facilities are also very complete. Next time you come to Kawaguchiko, you will be included in the accommodation list.

The facilities are clean and the customer service is wonderful. The rooms are clean, and there is Wifi and USB port facilities for charging (Western room). The buffet-style meals are rich in variety such as local dishes and delicious. Very satisfied hotel depending on the choice of room. Strategy: Mt. Fuji, which you want from the large communal bath, is blocked by pillars, cherry trees, and it is a pity that you need to stand up from the open-air bath, and you can only see the indoor bath from a limited place while taking a bathtub. Therefore, you need to choose a room on the Mt. Fuji side to enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji from the hotel facilities. Hope: It would be even nice if there were Yoshida's udon noodles, seasonal local vegetables, fruits, and local products (milk, cheese, etc.). If you have already used it, the presentation will increase satisfaction as a traveler. I have tea and tea in the room, but I want coffee.

This was a great treat! While expensive, a perfect end to an amazing trip. After tracking through Japan and non stop walking for 3 weeks our journey ended at Lake Kawaguchiko staying at Yumedono. This place is spectacular, serene and chic! It is a little over the top with personal escorts to bring you to the your room or pick you up to take you to breakfast or if you book dinner which by the way is a massive 8 course meal, one which you need to have an open mind and pallet to try new things. We did request a western style breakfast which was accommodated to a certain degree but was excellent. We had the Shion room and it was amazing and breathtaking. The private hot springs were just what we needed to take away all the walking done over the previous weeks and find complete peace for our journey home. We stayed 3 nights and it was heavenly! Just beside the Onsen is a restaurant Houtou (separate review) but has amazing food reasonably priced. We walked into town and took about 15 minutes. The lake was 5 minute walk away and we did the whole round of the smaller end which is about 3 km . It is a beautiful area to explore and the Onsen is in a great location. Upon arrival at the bus station, you simply ask at the Tourist office to call them and they will pick you up. They also dropped us back at station. Very classy place and we loved it! We saved the best for last!

The location is a bit off to the side so the price is very reasonable! 900YEN for a taxi ride from Kawaguchiko Station. or you can wait for the Fujisan Retro bus (B blue Line) Stop 67 which will stop at the shopping center Bell next door. But the location is great for me, it is directly opposite Hard Off (I spent 3 hours shopping in there and got many great deals) and next to Kawaguchiko Shopping Center BELL! Earthquake Simulation Center and Fujisan World Heritage Center are just right next doors. The hotel building has two views; one is mountain/lake view I think. However, I got the other view, the FUJI view; an amazing price for a great view! Breakfast is small and basic, catering more towards traditional Japanese breakfast which is just what you need. The drink and coffee machines are amazing good. The soup dispenser is quite unique and very delicious. Welcome Bar is a must! A great way to relax and wind down at the end of each day. Onsen is indoors on the ground/first floor with no windows but quite relaxing. It is next to the laundry room. I used it while I was waiting for the laundry to be done. The laundry here (on Jan 2023) was super cheap, only 200YEN per wash and the dryer is FREE! You can save a lot. The dryer and the washing machine are separate machines which I like them better than the all-in-one washing&drying machine. We will definitely stay again when we come back to Fuji.

We loved our stay here. The staff at frontdesk is so nice and so helpful: whatever you need during your stay, they will arrange (car rental, Japanese seats for room, good restaurant-advice). The room is supplied with very nice thick duvets, Japanese-style tatami and futons, and you will find a fridge and kettle too. The shower is really nice, with good pressure and nice ‘n warm. Room is warm and comfortable. Located opposite the station, this place is surely recommended!

We loved this hotel! A small hotel of only 8 rooms positioned right by the lakeside of Kawaguchiko - ideally located for walks and enjoying the views across to Fuji. It is immaculately kept, has very good size rooms (could see Fuji from the window) and lovely, friendly staff. Reiko, who welcomed us when we checked in, spotted us on a road when she was in her car the following day, and took us on an impromptu guided tour to a waterfall and shrine. This was one of the highlights of our trip and was so kind of her to do on her day off, and encapsulated the willingness of the hotel to ensure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The adjoining FamilyMart is also ideal for purchasing anything you need during your stay. Would happily return and stay for longer!

Cottage Tozawa Center is located marvelously right opposite Mount Fuji. Cottage Tozawa Center is somewhere in between Kawaguchiko town center and Oishi town centre. Best location because we could see all the fireworks in the living room. The unit E1 has the best view, I think. One can sit in the living room or bedroom or balcony comfortably to admire Mount Fuji. It would be more convenient for tourists who drive. No meals provided. Have to prepare futon by yourself. May rent a place for camping, which would be quite a unique experience during both winter and summer. It's a hidden gem because it is lesser known among international tourists.

Firstly, I really liked the location. Kawaguchiko is beautiful and this side of the lake is less built up than the other side (and there is a nice park in front). It's walking distance from the station but about 20 minutes but not recommended with luggage. But not to worry, there is a regular (and cheap) 'loop bus' that departs regularly from the Station and stops right in front of the hotel. Also, the hotel offers a free shuttle bus to the Station from 8am - 10am. The check-in for this hotel is 3pm. Bearing in mind most check-outs in Tokyo are mid-morning, it meant we arrived in Kawaguchiko at midday and had three hours before we could check in to our room. Not very convenient. The hotel do offer a free pick-up from the Station but only after 3pm. Our room was good. It comprised of two single beds and a separate tatami room. We had a great view of Mt Fuji. I'd wake each morning and open the curtains and have a perfect view of if from my bed. If we were on the other side of the building, we'd have had a view of the lake instead. The bathroom was a little basic and the shower took a while to warm up, but aside from that it was an enjoyable room to stay in. The hotel had a free onsen and free robes/slippers for guests to use. I'd never used an onsen before and really enjoyed it - think of a really, hot steamy bath! The hotel also has bike hire available (1500 yen for the day). Visiting Mt Fuji was one of the highlights of my trip. Kawaguchiko was a really good base with plenty to do. I'd highly recommend visiting Chureito Pagoda and cycling around the lake was a really nice way to spend the day. I also thought the staff were extremely friendly.

Features The previous comments are basically mentioned, the kitchen is large and the public area is large, but it takes a lot of time to cook for a long time. Toilets and wash basins, showers are on the corridor, are public, or some inconvenience. The highlight is that there is a medium-sized supermarket within a ten-minute walk. The supermarket is not a convenience store, and the price is definitely cheaper than a convenience store. Buying back ingredients in a large kitchen is also an alternative enjoyment on the road. The most unusual thing is that the registration here is very strict. Every passport must be photographed, and a form should be filled in, which should indicate where to go from. This trip to Japan only met once.

You can tell from the moment you enter the house that it has been carefully decorated. The hotel is quiet and functional. It has a restaurant, a lounge, and two great private baths. It is super comfortable and there is also a private bath in the room. The most important thing is: the transportation in Mount Fuji is actually very underdeveloped, and the various lines are very unfriendly to foreign tourists. When we were about to check out, the lady at the front desk thoughtfully wrote down the train schedule for the destination we were going to, and also The price and time are included. The service is really good. He also understands English. I hope more tourists can discover this small but beautiful hotel.
