I arrived to Zeil Hotel in 4th of March and I was planning to stay for 5 days. I was traveling with my mother. When we arrived we were very tired so I tried to made a check-in at reception very fast. When we got the room I was shocked! It was so terrible, so dirty. I started to feel sickness because of the stink in the room, the bed linen was not fresh and had bad smell of a previous guest’s body. The bathroom was extremely small with hair and feces drops all over the place. We could not stay at this dirty and dangerous place for other minute so I went to reception to make the check-out. The reception Russian guy very arrogant and rude said that I must stay for one night as he can not make refund of my money because of some reasons. He said that the next day the manager will be at the hotel and then I will be able to make check-out. So, I didn’t want to make any scandal and I accepted what I was offered. We went to the room and slept in the bed without tackling off out coats and hats. Next morning I went to reception to make check-out but the girl at reception said that she can not do the refund of the money as their Visa card terminal doesn’t work. This girl was Russian too and she said that it is so terrible to live in Germany because Germans make their life so complicated and they can not change their Visa card terminal during 2 weeks already. She said that as soon as she gets the new Visa card terminal then she will make the refund of my money. I could not keep patience any longer and I started to claim my money back. Then she said that she can transfer my money to the bank account of my friend in Germany. I gave her the bank account of my German friend and the reception girl said that I will be able to get the money on the next day. So, I left that terrible place. Two days later I still did not get my money back. By the way it supposed to be 275 euro. In two days I return to this devil house and met the same Russian reception guy who refused to make check-out on the first day. I started to shout and I said that if I don’t get the money back I will call the police. This guy called his manager. That woman agreed to give me my money back but keep 6% for money transfer. I agreed... I hope to get the money in nearest future on my card 🤦‍♀️ This is really very bad place to stay, very dangerous for health! Be careful!!! The management doesn’t exist, they don’t know how to work with clients and the even don’t have a housekeeping, they do not clean the rooms at all

The environment is particularly good, and the guy at the front desk is also very enthusiastic. Although our English is not so fluent, but my brother is very patient. The location is also good, very close to the subway station. There are also many restaurants and supermarkets nearby, as well as a KFC. The rooms are clean, tidy, quiet, and soundproofed. In short, the experience is great!

I stayed at this hotel last weekend, we went for leisure, and we loved it, the room has been the most beautiful I've been in and sure if not the best, the best in which I am. Stunning views, the room completely clean, modern ... The staff also very very friendly, we have met two of the people at the reception (a lady and a gentleman) and both have been great. The perfect location to walk around the city center. In my opinion it is a hotel of 10 I am sure that if I return to Frankfurt I will repeat in this hotel

Give the hotel a thumbs up, the bearded waiter at the front desk smiled nicely, the breakfast was very rich and very good, the location of the hotel was also very good, downstairs eating, drinking, playing, beauty, skin care and hair cutting. And you can go shopping in the mall on foot. The few days I stayed just in time for the Christmas market, it was very lively.

My family of four stayed at the Suite Fabric Hotel at the start of our German vacation. More of an aparthotel rather than a motel or hotel, we booked the one bedroom apartment as we wanted more space. Indeed the apartment did not disappoint with ample space for our bags, a decent sized living room with kitchenette. There were 2 four posted beds, one in the bedroom and the other in the “hall” outside the bathroom. There was a mobile screen which I guess would be used to segregate the hall bedroom for some privacy. The only thing was there were no lifts, and we were on the second floor. That meant lugging our bags, which wasn’t a big problem, but would be if you weren’t ready for it. As with European aparthotels, there wasn’t airconditioning, and this place had only one fan, which again was ok for us as it was still Spring, but at the height of summer, I imagine would be a problem. Breakfast is a decent spread of deli meats, cheese and breads, which made for a good start. Location is also good, a leisurely 15 min walk to the main square and shopping area. And Uber will get you home at a reasonable price. Tripadvisor reviewers were helpful to share that the reception is not 24 hours, but arrangements could be made to pick up the keys next door at the friendly bar. We arrived late and hence had to pick them up there. Note the bar staff do not speak much English, but a helpful patron assisted with the necessary translations. All in all, a decent accommodations near enough to the city centre.

The lady at the Counter. The Korean girl. She speaks perfect English and her German is perfect as well(heard it) and we talked to her in Korean. Thank you and Hello. She told us where to get Ciggs and also recommended places we can buy sim cards for our stay.(1 month). Helpful in every every way and we can definitely tell that it comes from the heart and her great personality and hospitality mind set. Good person to be interacting with the guest because she is the perfect person for that job. The cleaning ladies did not speak a lot of english but the service is so good. right at noon they come knocking and wanting to clean the rooms. They even folded our clothes that was left on the floor. Amazing. Smiled every time we saw them in the lobby. I traveled the world and know it really makes your day or your stay when the front desk and the staff is polite and serves you with a great and genuine smile. She is much better than some of the Group Chains like the Hilton and the Marriotts here in Germany.

This is the second time staying here, as it was a business trip I didn't get to pick the hotel but not a problem as I had been before. As with my previous visit, the staff are friendly and efficient, the rooms are clean and the main bedroom spacious. Facilities include aircon, TV, free wifi, mini bar (chargeable). There is only one elevator but as this is a small hotel it is not an issue. The location of the hotel is good, being close to bars and restaurants and the U bahn and Zeil is only 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast was a selection of meats, cheese, fruits and cereals plus bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs. I am not sure if this is a family run hotel, but it does have that feel to it and if I am lucky to have to come back to Frankfurt I would stay here again.

Well appointed rooms with aircon you can operate directly which is a plus. Quiet location and despite how busy it was with guests very quiet at night too. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and had a great choice of hot and cold options. Location was just that too far out to the centre (but perfect for a zoo visit which we did), yet nearby to some of the best restaurants and we sampled a few. Wifi was fast and we had no issues with it. Good satellite tv options, iron and board, tea and coffee facilities as well as a bar fridge and safe are all in the room. Honestly not much more you could ask for - was also spotlessly clean. We used the sauna facility and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was no hassle for management to set it up for us. Thank you for making our stay in Frankfurt a lovely one.

If you want a small hotel room that doesn't feel small, then you should try Frankfurt's Villa Orange. Located about a 10 minute walk from the train station, it is easy to get to and find. The single bed was very comfortable, bathroom more than nice. The only thing I wonder about how it is in summer. I was on the top floor (4th) and could not figure out how to open the window. I didn't see any air conditioning so I can only image it's like an oven in July/August. Breakfast is fine. Although I wasn't interested, I saw someone getting fried eggs from kitchen. The surrounding area is very quiet. There are a restaurants within a five minute walk.

The first challenge arriving in Germany is their complicated ticketing system for the S-bahn/ U-bahn. For this hotel and many other routes you need to buy a single ticket (if you only intend on one journey) which cost about 4,95 euros. Look at the direction of travel to a main stop (usually a landmark or main district) and choose that. If your stop is along the way to that main stop then that is right. All the small stations are not on the ticket machine. Hotel Cult is just a few minutes walk from 2 metro stations, opposite Lidl supermarket and a 24 hour petrol station. The hotel is modern in style and neatly kept. They are currently renovation an area for an extra facility to accommodate a hotel bar. The check in was smooth and the hotel front desk were always very helpful and friendly. Our room was nice and cosy with a huge TV although there is no variety of foreign channels, nearly all in German. The bed was also two singles together which moved a bit whenever my wife or I went close to the middle and they have two separate duvets. The bathroom was spacious, no free toiletries (which is good but should be available I hope on request) but has a powerful hairdryer, the slide door was loose but my wife fixed it! The room also has a mini fridge/bar and a safe. The room could have been better equipped with a tea/coffee making facilities and better storage for clothes. We were fortunate to get a good view from our window on the top floor. The cleaning staff were thorough and efficient enough. The breakfast was great and had so much variety! There were cereals, a variety of quality bread, 10 different cheeses, preserves, cold meats, sausages, eggs, good hot drinks dispenser and fruit! The kitchen staff were very attentive in cleaning up after guests as it could get quite busy. Defo try this place!

very satisfied. The price is still very high. Breakfast included, parking for 19 euros for 24 hours, and a city tax of 3 euros per person. The place to live is very good, about ten kilometers and fifteen minutes drive from the customer. There is a Skyline Mall in the hotel about seven or eight hundred meters, a DM supermarket on the first floor, and a chain of electronic goods. Not a one or two kilometer, can find a good Chinese restaurant can go to the Roman Forum, Goethe House, there are big shopping on both sides. I went to the Iron Bridge in the evening, the Main River, very beautiful.

I thought I had booked a 4star accommodation for my husbands 60th Birthday. I had booked tickets to go and see Andre Rieu at festhalle so I thought the hotel is not far so would be perfect. My first impressions of the hotel from the outside was god this isn’t what I expected ! When checking in receptionist was pleasant reception area nice but small . Lift to the room is tiny 3 people at a push would fit in it. Breakfast nice but not much choice of hot food sausage sliced and eggs every morning, but nice choice of continental food. I must say that the yogurt or milk was not kept cold which is a shame. We got a nice welcome drink on our first evening ,we would also of used the bar for a nightcap if the prices hadn’t been so expensive €15 for a gin and tonic!!! The area around this hotel is awful I didn’t feel safe at all it was like drug city awful. Dealing in broad daylight and people drinking in the streets . I would recommend staying 10 mins walk at least from the train station . Am so looking forward to going back home today. Definitely won’t be coming back.

I have been at The Flag O. in Frankfurt with my family for the past 3 weeks. It is a brand new building with large, bright rooms. It is beautifully decorated. All of the rooms have a well equipped kitchen and good furnitures. Nonetheless, there is no cleaning at all. Once a week comes the room service that only changes the sheets and towels (when they don’t forget to do it, which is quite often). They don’t even bring toilet paper or soap, we have to ask for it, but they keep forgetting every time. The whole room stays very dirty but they don’t do anything about it. That could be ok if you would stay for a few days, but if you are coming for a medium or long stay like us, it would be a problem. Another issue is the wi-fi which seems to be programmed to go out every 5 min, so if you don’t check it every time before using your phone, your are all the time without a connection.

The address location is slightly shorter. It is a straight line from Frankfurt Railway Station 1.*km, and it is a little bit worthwhile to take a taxi. Staying in and finding value for money is suitable for non-short-term family and business stays. A full set of kitchen equipment, refrigerator, washing machine dryer, just need to go to the opposite supermarket to buy a laundry detergent. Look, the opposite is skyplatz, there are also. There is a free parking area around the hotel and you can see the luck. There is also a paid parking lot. The price is moderate and suitable for group living.

ok so the reason this hotels gets 1* is because its all about a nights sleep. i am staying in room 2704 which is apartment with added space. So the staff and breakfast is excellent as are the views and interior BUT - i work on mechanical systems currently in frankfurtand my partner came over for the weekend. at great expense £500 from sat-tues... it is 37’ by day and 24 at night. i do have knowledge of AC and cooling systems ( cold air , room temp etc . but either the thermostat in my room is broken or a problem with plant, so with the big windows the humidity and room temp are stifling . i have had 4 showers so far writing this at 7.45 pm . i have complained but management dont work weekends so the desk cant help me. the building is 30 floors tall and this doesnt seem a problem elsewhere with other companies ( access/egress) to hotel is through other floors and areas, so this is the hotels issue. I cant comment wether anybody else is complaining but this is not a good experience. i am 35 years old and not somebody who isnt easily pleased, this is the first time i’ve ever wrote a review as i do feel so strongly about this issue. What a shame, spoiled the weekend Luke Manchester Uk

Facilities are old, some hotels are very clean and comfortable. The front desk English is rare in Germany. The standard service attitude is good. Sending things quickly. Slippers have to be sent. The bed is not soft. The old waist is like the old brand. The old brand is very practical. The pool is not leaking. Do not spray out, always old, good location, good location on the map, but Frankfurt is very small, unlike Munich, it’s a big step. You can take a two-step turn in the city.

The hotel is in a good location, just opposite the platform door of the HBF train station 1a. The rooms are normal German Express hotels, but they are generous, and the beds are small and normal. Breakfast is average, not bad, but because my friends who do n’t have breakfast, I did n’t order breakfast, but I ate it once, 15 euros. It ’s nothing, but the key is because I paid for my room in advance. So she didn't allow me to check out after eating first. I had to check out before breakfast. I said that I did n’t bring my card with me. I packed it and checked out. I ca n’t say it. I have to go back to the room to get something and get a card to have breakfast. Stayed in this Hotel in June for more than 2 weeks with my family of 2 adults and 2 children. Had booked a triple standard and were given a free upgrade to triple comfort room. Thanks to the management! It's a small hotel with simple designed rooms that have no air conditioning. To our luck, the triple comfort room had direct sunlight only in the second half of the day and the small, old and noisy ventilator was striving to manage the air streams... The most unpleasant experience regarding our room was that it had an emergency exit that was accessible from the corridor of the adjacent "wing" of the hotel. The hotel has to make sure there is a sign on the door in the corridor that clearly states: "Emergency exit". Its absence was the reason other guests were using this area under our windows as a smoking and chatting area... Overall, the breakfasts were good for a three star hotel. The staff was doing their best to replenish the freshly baked bread, croissant baskets and fruit plates on high occupancy days. The Hotel is located close to the central train station, Main river and is easily accessible through public transport having a very short walking distance. The surrounding area is calm and the only unpleasant noise you can hear in nights is from the ambulance/firefighters rushing on nearby main streets. Overall, the service you get is quite good comparable to the price of stay (we had good discount for a long stay and early booking). Small service improvements can make the stay even better.

The location is excellent, right across from the central train station. The front desk staff was very warm and polite, and there were water and other items in the room. It was good to check out directly without checking. There is a 2 Euro city tax per day. There is no breakfast so I do n’t know how to eat. The room is large enough and the bathroom is small but adequate. Outside the window is the train station, so opening the window is noisy, but closing the sound insulation is good and will not affect the rest. Good value for money.

I am writing this review while at the hotel. I travel to Frankfurt for business every 2 to 3 months and this is my first experience at Living. Here’s what I have found: relaxed atmosphere, very helpful and genuine staff, clean rooms and shared areas, great food and drink, plus the pricing is excellent! I also really like that my room has a terrace and I can sit outside and have some fresh air in privacy. I admit that I am not here for sight seeing, so having a large comfortable lobby where you can set up with your laptop and get work done, while ordering a great cappuccino or snack at any time is my thing. Plus, there is a grocery store and bakery right next store, with ATM bank machine. Tip: the shampoo/conditioner situation is only an “all in one” soap, so bring your own supplies if your hair is dry or curly.

The personal was really friendly and helpful. We spent one night there in a room with two single beds. The room was big enough for a bassinet and a stroller. The bathroom was big enough too. Even if the hotel is close to the highway we could sleep well.. The windows are soundproof and the walls aren't thin, so we didn't hear anything from the other guests. The room and hotel itself was very clean and they took a lot of care in cleaning and measurements against spreading of COVID-19 virus. The parking lot is with 6€ for a day/night also cheap. We stayed here primarily as a halfway point driving from Amsterdam to Austria. The location near a large shopping center was great for last-minute purchases and of course dinner. Since it’s a Dorint, we knew we would get a hearty breakfast. The hotel was fine: good WiFi, comfy bed, friendly staff. There was a crib in our room, per our request, complete with a coloring book and a toy. Very cool. I’m not really sure how this place stays in business as it’s out in the middle of a field. But it was plenty fine and I certainly let recommend it if you want to avoid going into Frankfurt.

I stayed at the Mercure again for probably the seventh or eighth time, to attend a conference at the Messe. As usual, the rooms were too hot even with the radiators off and the AC on, and the hotel only supplies a single duvet on a double bed, but I was delighted to find the ironing room downstairs after years of having to chase the irons around the building (since the hotel only appeared to have two). The new irons are very effective and much better than having to phone reception constantly to track down a mini travel iron. The egg chef at breakfast was particularly good on the first morning of my stay and provided a good alternative to the cooked breakfast. Despite the crazy prices for our company to stay during the week of the fair, I am sure we will be back, and I'm glad to see the Mercure improving, especially with wifi and ironing provisions!

Hotel is old, not so clean, my room on the 4th floor has good view, no AC, only fan which is OK, toilet bowl has odd design, wifi is very slow at 4th floor sometimes dont even work at all, no fridge as they explained it cost them much to maintain it, free breakfast has limited choices and easily runs out if you came late specially on weekend mornings. free bike is not actually free, you need to deposit EUR50. They always knock the door twice in the same morning to replenish towels which is kinda annoying, they should provide guest with "do not disturb" sign. My room lock handle is broken. Key is too heavy to carry. I only chose this hotel as it is the cheapest availability when i book and availed the early payment benefit of booking.com . hotel is far from city centre it takes 30mins by train including walking to the Hochst station. I chose this hotel as I was travelling in Europe by train and it is situated within sight of the city's main railway station. However, I wouldn't give the location my highest recommendation. The immediate area around the Hauptbahnhof is not a very pleasant place. On the short walk to the hotel entrance I encountered drunks, drug addicts and aggressive beggars. The streets were strewn with rubbish and broken glass. Many would find the conditions in the area quite intimidating. As for the hotel, it is certainly up to the standard of this chain. It is clean, well ordered and the staff are polite, helpful and efficient. The restaurant offered an excellent continental breakfast. I was a bit disaoppointed to be placed in a ground floor room at the rear, looking out on to the driveway to the underground car park and overlooked by surrounding buildings, so it was somewhat gloomy. However, the room was well appointed, with TV, a work desk, a safe, a kettle and complimentary water. The bathroom was fitted effectively into a very narrow space, so it was quite usable but then I'm not a very big chap. If I was a six-foot Sumo wrestler, I doubt if I could have managed in there. There was free WiFi available but it was not particularly strong. In all, a convenient city-centre hotel for a single traveller on a budget but let down by the location. I will consider different accommodation on my next visit.

I had booked my stay through Booking.com for this hotel. However due to Covid 19, we are unable to travel. Left with no choice, we had to cancel our bookings. Emailed, this hotel all they replied was to told us to get back to Booking.com. Booking.com stated that all non-refundable bookings must go back to the hotel and asked them for refund. When I checked my credit card transcation, the money was credited to this hotel. And when they refunded me 10% of my booking fee, the credit card details clearly showed the money came from the hotel. So what are they talking about getting back to Booking.com when clearly the hotel was the one who had already taken our money. This is a hotel who doesn't place their guests welfare in the first place. In situation such as a pandemic, they took our money with no remorse. This is such a horrible experience. I do hope that you do know that you represent your country to foreigners. Will I go Germany again? Maybe, but I do hope I get to meet people who are more caring and not money grabbers like the people of this hotel. Book at your own risk!!!!!!

The hotel can buy breakfast separately, a little expensive. The room is large and suitable for a family of three. There are also induction cookers, as well as kitchen utensils and tableware. You can make your own breakfast and dinner. The hotel has an underground parking lot. Turn right after passing the hotel's main entrance. European parking lots are very small and narrow, and they are relatively graduated. The parking fee is more expensive, 17 euros a night. Be regarded as a hotel more satisfied with the trip to Europe.

Airport Frankfurt Area
The hotel is near the airport, but the sound insulation is particularly good. No sound was heard during the plane's takeoff and landing. Opposite the hotel is Rewe, very convenient. The room was very clean and tidy. There was no electricity in the room I checked in for the first time. The staff came patiently to check and finally changed the opposite room.

It is very convenient to leave a location. I just don't understand why every passenger staying must give a tip of 2 Euro per night. Is the tip not free?

This hotel is very interesting. When the taxi passed, the driver said that it had arrived. I thought, ah? Here? Did you go wrong? After making sure that you didn't go wrong, you came to the front door. The front door needs to ring the doorbell. Someone opened the door and went in, so the front desk is also a small place, a bit like a domestic guesthouse. However, after entering the room, I found that the room was quite large and neat, very clean, and the facilities were complete, and I was very satisfied. The geographical environment is also very good. It is particularly close to the train station. There are many Chinese restaurants nearby, but you must be careful when going out at night, especially girls. The neighborhood is a bit unsafe.

Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof
This is a place I always visit whenever I am in Frankfurt. Not only is the restaurant great, the rooms and services are remarkable. However, what I want to write about is a stay I did not make and how much I appreciate Roomers accommodating the my travel schedule during the coronavirus outbreak. I had two changes of schedule and they had accommodated both and eventually refunded me given what the situation is right now in Europe. During this difficult time, Roomer's flexibility warrants a stay on my next visit! Special thanks to Christian and Julia for their swift assistance. Brian

Reception staff samuel was welcoming. Breakfast male staff was also very helpful and friendly. Thanks to the great service and keep it up! However, housekeeping was bad. She came knocking at doors at 8am?! When its barely even bright during winter. And when i told her we were still in she just gave me a set of fresh towels and never came back to do any housekeeping. Easy way out for them i guess to not have to clean rooms but imho its just so irresponsible. Bad enough to wake guests at 8am and then not get the job done. Otherwise, stay was good:) would highly recommend! Not too far from old town. We parked by the street.

Tucked away on the outskirts of Frankfurt this is an ideal hotel be it for a relaxing break or attending the Frankfurt Messe. The staff are very helpful speaking German & English they could not be more accommodating. We found that one of our party was a vegetarian and although there was only two choices on the menu the chef stepped up and provided a week of a variety of dishes. Certainly worth a return visit be on business or pleasure. The bonus also was the S Bahn which was a 15 min walk or 5 min bus journey straight into Frankfurt. HIghly recommend this hotel
