We have booked a “superior” room for the price of €85 per night. It is extremely overpriced for the money you pay. Old building - badly maintained, smelly room, the overall atmosphere spoils your holiday mood! It was clean but that terrible smell was all the time in my nose! Better stay home than spending your money there!

Have just got back from staying in the Marianna apartments for ten days. When we arrived it was 1.30 in the morning after an unexpected delay in our flight from Manchester. Costas was there to greet us still welcoming even though we had woke him up. He took us to our apartment and told us how things worked, air con etc. We had stayed there last year and had the same apartment this time. Everything you would need to make a meal is there. If you needed anything else then you only have to ask Helen or Costas. Housekeeping staff came in every day except Sundays. All staff we met always said good morning or hello. We had breakfast every morning. You could have cereals , fruit etc. There was plenty to choose from. Costs kept reminding us if there was anything else we would like then just ask. The apartment is in a quiet area so no problems sleeping at night.. We are hopefully going back in March. Thank you so much Helen and Costas for helping to make our holiday relaxing and enjoyable.

We stayed here for 10 nights all inclusive in October 2020, after our trip to Turkey was cancelled due to Covid. We are so glad we chose The Royal Apollonia and Cyprus. We were welcomed with a glass of prosecco which was nice, and provided with masks to wear in the lift and whilst walking round the buffet. The sea view room was lovely. The door was sealed to demonstrate that it had been deep cleaned. Definitely upgrade to sea view if possible- there is a busy road on the other side of the hotel, although you cannot hear this at all from the pool/ beach. The pool is what really makes this hotel special. Sunbeds are super comfortable and high quality. The infinity pool is beautiful. Anna at the swim up bar is great, she is so friendly and makes amazing cocktails. The beach is small but all we needed, it's kept clean and the sea was even warmer than the pool. You can get clean beach towels from the spa each morning. The restaurants are good. We are vegetarian, but eat fish occasionally. As a vegetarian you won't go hungry, different items on the menu for dinner each day and a few nice options for lunch (salads, wraps, pitta and dips) and breakfast. We did eat fish more than we would have liked, e.g. the Japanese restaurant had a set menu and wouldn't give us a veggie menu. The staff in the main restaurant were fantastic and went over and above to ensure we ate what we wanted- we requested a few different dishes and they happily obliged (such as a halloumi kebab, and babaganouch!). A separate vegetarian menu would be a big improvement, with more greek options. There was only evening entertainment on one night each week, which was a local musician. He was good, and we aren't into evening entertainment much so that was fine for us. The spa looked absolutely lovely- it's fairly expensive- so we went down the road to Thai Spa Centre, where we had very well priced but less luxurious massages! A special thanks to: Paulina Costas Zina Anna Panagiotis For being so friendly and fantastic, and making our stay so special. We wouldn't hesitate to return and have recommended this hotel to our friends and family.

Stayed here in september as a solo traveller. Hotel was spotless and very clean. Staff all wearing masks. The location for me was perfect with a bus stop directly outside with regular buses into limassol (approx every 10 minutes with a single ticket €1.50). The hotel also has a private car park if you are hiring a car. The hotel itself had a lovely modern airy feel. My room was perfect. It was at the back of the hotel on the top floor. It had one double and a single bed, large wardrobe with a drawer and safe inside, dressing table with a further two drawers, and a stand for suitcase. The room also had a kettle and small fridge. Bathroom had a walk in shower and dispensers for hand soap and shower gel. Room itself was large and had a large balcony with table and chairs and the most amazing view. It also had a small pull out drying rack on the wall. Breakfast had a good variety - cereals, toast, rolls, fresh fruit, yoghurts, cheeses, cold meats - and a selection of hot items - bacon, sausages, eggs, etc. Leading out from the main reception was an outdoor covered bar / restaurant area where they had a varied selection of meals available and the portions were not small !!!. This led out onto the pool area, where there were plenty of sun loungers, small tables and umbrellas. At the back of the pool area about 20 feet, there was another area with loungers etc accessed by a few steps, and you could swim in the sea. Across the road there was a small supermarket, but there are plenty small convenience stores and gift shops within a few minutes walk. A selection of restaurants and bars are also easily reached by walking - ranging from local foods to MacDonalds and pizza hut (both about 10 - 15 minute walk). All the staff were very friendly and helpful and adhering to covid rules. Overall I was very pleased with my stay and would recommend Harmony Bay Hotel.

I don't want to write a really long review, so will keep it short and sweet. Which exactly describes my 4 nights here with my wife and 4 year old daughter. I'll start with the things we loved; The welcome nibbles in our room on arrival, the bottled water which was replenished daily (multiple bottles) was great. We liked the products left on the bed for turndown, my daughter loved putting the facemask on. The room was fantastic, and housekeeping are doing a fabulous job. My daughter loved the mini dressing gown and slippers and from the amount of hotels we have stayed in this is a first! It is the comfiest bed ever with great quality (what felt like feather?) pillows. Considering this is out of season, which means less people- the breakfast buffet was fresh and constantly being watched by the chefs, nothing looked like it had been sat for a while and the quality of the produce was excellent. The orange juice was delicious. My daughter has serious allergies to milk and egg and I emailed the hotel to make them aware before our stay and everywhere we dined the staff seemed to already have known, which is again fantastic. Kids park excellent and great facilities. The staff are excellent here and always seemed genuinely happy to be working in such a hotel. Truly makes the difference staying somewhere where the employees are happy. A few names to give extra credit to were Nina who served us for breakfast, ensuring my daughter had soya milk poured direct from the bottle to avoid cross contamination with the one on the buffet. The waitress in the Cypriot restaurant with short hair (sorry didn't catch your name) again whom already knew about my daughter's allergies Georgia on the door to lanes for breakfast always smiling. The pool attendants making sure the indoor pool rules were adhered to and weren't scared to tell the odd child to keep the noise down. Alot of hotels seem to be scared of doing this so nice to see other guests are thought about here. Overall we WILL be back. (It was supposed to be a short review but there were so many good things I had to mention :D )

We have just had a wonderful 16 night stay at the Crowne Plaza. The hotel is in the best location in Limassol. It is right on the sea front and not in what I call the touristy area. It is on the promenade and a leisurely 30+ minute walk to the harbour and marina area as well as the old historic part of Limassol with the castle. The promenade is well used by locals every morning and evening and is a very pleasant walk with a number of cafes to persuade you to stop. Even though the hotel is part of a worldwide chain it is almost a family run hotel with many of the staff having been there for many years. All the staff are very friendly and most welcoming. Everyone was always so friendly. Cleanliness – The hotel is spotlessly clean Breakfast – There is an extensive breakfast buffet with everything being served in their own containers and therefore Covid friendly. Nothing is too much to ask for. Meals – The hotel also has an award-winning Italian restaurant. There is also a wide choice of very good simple snack meals available to eat around the pool or in the outside area. Pool - The hotel has a large lovely outdoor pool with ample seating by the pool or in the shade. There is also an indoor pool. Sea – The hotel is on the seafront so you can sit in sun loungers just a few feet away from the sea and drinks can be ordered and delivered to you. Room – Our room was wonderful with a large comfortable bed and a splendid sea view. It was well maintained by housekeeping. Our bathroom was very good and with twin sinks. The hotel is accessible for those using a wheelchair. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough and cannot wait until we can return.

We had a wedding to attend to, at the nearby luxurious Crown Plaza hotel, but not being able to afford to stay there the night, we chose this budget hotel a five minute walk away instead. It's more of a hostel really although you do get to have your own one bedroom appartment with sitting area, bedroom with balcony and bathroom on the plus side. The lobby is old fashioned and a bit shabby but offers free Wifi .The hotel is mainly run by Russian staff from what my husband and I gathered. We paid 55 euros on Bed and Breakfast basis. There is a swimming pool, a bar area and a restaurant as well as a small outdoor sitting area. Our room was 501 on the fifth floor. It was quiet and spacy with TV and kettle for tea making if you wished although none was used. The a/c unit wouldn't work, the balcony doors wouldn't close tight, and the double bed was really small for my tall husband ,with the top sheet being so small we couldn't cover ourselves at night. As for the dim lighting, not convenient if you want to read a book or put make up on at the dressing table to get ready to go out for example. But good lighting in the bathroom. The hotel also has a free parking area. Breakfast is continental but while you're having your coffee and toast you are served a plate with cheese, ham omelette and salad which was a good surprise. I would definitely recommend the place for young people on a tight budget who are used to staying at hostels around the world. Compared to them this might have much more to offer. I only chose it for the reasons I stated.

I had a business trip in Limassol and again booked this hotel. I booked an executive room (for price of basic thanks to Covid) and was even upgraded to sea view room, so pretty good. Since last time they renovated rest of the hotel and its really modern and nice. Only sad part was that pool bar was closed (I guess because of Covid19). Breakfest was also bit smaller and was A la carte, but still there was good selection and they were quick. So it worked. So next time I will choose this hotel again, but its really good hotel for really good price and its only 5 - 8 minutes walk from sea side, but only for like 94 Euros per night for 2 people per room with breakfest, so great value for money, stayed there 3 or 4 times and will stay there again.

We rented a 3 bedroom apt for 3/10-4/10 for 11,000 euros. Today we noticed there was no hot water in the apt. We called the management for 3 hours and they kept promising us someone was going to come fix it. When we got sick of waiting, we went downstairs personally and asked the receptionist to send someone to fix the hot water. She refused and when I made her call her manager I could hear “Chinese” (we are Americans in town for work) over and over. After I told her I was going to sit in the hotel lobby until someone came to fix the water, she called the police. Then the manager came and took off the hot water control panel and found A PIECE OF CARDBOARD (made from a Olympic residence maintenance department business card) wedged in front of the buttons that controlled the hot water (so that when we pushed the control from the outside it would not allow the hot water to turn on). Then we went to the second bathroom and FOUND A SECOND CARDBOARD/business card blocking the hot water to there. I asked my husband if this could have been done on purpose and he said no way as the management didn’t have keys to the apt and the water was working the first few days. Then we realised that yesterday we had given housekeeping keys to clean the apt. So maintenance came in (illegally) at that time to jam our hot water to force us to move out of the apartment! When we realised with horror that this was intentional. We understood that we are targeted by the management! We were sent an email this morning telling us the residence pools were closed until 4/10 (the exact day we are scheduled to leave). We checked the pool and there is no closure signs and others are still allowed to use the pool! I’m beyond horrified at the conduct of Olympic Residence management. 1) They violated guest privacy and our trust in them by entering our apartment under the guise of housekeeping to tamper with our hot water in order to force us to leave 2) Called the police on paying guests because we said we would sit in the lobby until our apt was repaired 3) Sent us an email telling us the pool was closed when it was open to guests so we would not use it 4) all because we looked Chinese Please do not ever stay here. If this didn’t happen to me. I wouldn’t even believe this could happen

We stayed for a week during the Christmas break and have very much mixed feelings. - The staff was friendly and helpful from reception, housekeeping, restaurant. - Location is good, walking distance to the beach and plenty of restaurants around the area. A nice small shop opposite meets some of your needs, and about 30 minutes to the marina - Good water pressure in the bathroom. What not so nice, - Breakfast is a bit boring, simple and low quality. Couldn't eat a nice fresh bread on any of the days - Booked a double bed, got a twin bed. I had to push it together every 5 minutes to able to stay close to my girlfriend - Room is a bit dated but it was ok. Our fridge didn't work when we arrived. I reported it on the day of arrival and it was fixed / replaced the next day. But no minibar... although that didn't really bother me, but it was strange to have the check list on the table to mark what we took from it... - No safe in the room. No kettle. But the biggest disappointment was the door! It is paper thin and you can hear everything. A couple of time we had a feeling that someone is talking in our room. Indoor Jacuzzi in the basement is a big let down. Poor quality, outdated and not mentioned anywhere on booking.com or lastminute.com that it is only for a certain fee. Outdoor jacuzzi we didn't see it working, but it mentioned somewhere that only works for a very short time. We chose this hotel particularly for the option to have a chance for a hot tub during the colder winter days so this was very disappointing. Especially as on the wettest day it was closed (it is always closed on Sunday). The chewing gum stuck on the clothes hanger was the top. Clearly shows that no one cleans this place properly. Overall, it was ok, but not for the price we paid. We could certainly find a better, nicer one.

Location is fab There is car parking available. Reception (and all staff ) were very friendly and helpful. as we were a family of 4 we chose the executive suite so that we had enough room for us. On arrival, the safe was not working and the balcony door would not lock (not ideal with a toddler who likes to escape! We informed reception and they put a stopper in the door so that it couldnt be opened and they fixed the safe. The pool is great, although at the end of the day, seeing the lifeguard just pour in chemicals to clean it was a bit worrying (you usually take samples from the pool to see how much chemicals to add!) We had a lovely night out. On our arrival back at the hotel, our key card would not open the door. we were locked out a while, but the duty manager and receptionist did all they could to get us in. The next day we realised the toilet had been leaking (we noticed once the toddler had played in the water!) again called reception and they looked at getting this fixed. On departure, I was surprised that we didn't get a discount or any remuneration for the stay (after all it was the most expensive room in the hotel!) but we didn't make a big fuss. It didn't really ruin the break as we still enjoyed ourselves. Breakfast is good, with a good choice of hot and cold food. Filter coffee was not great in my opinion. Overall, beautiful hotel, great staff, they just need to check rooms before they let people in!
