We arrived quite late, reception checked us in very quickly and invited us to have dinner in the restaurant before going up to our room. The room was very clean, comfortable beds, and a balcony with beautiful views of the sea. The bathroom was functional but could use a little updating. The pool area was lovely, lots of sun beds, and if you pay a deposit, you can hire beach towels. Again, although very clean, the sun beds and parasols could be updated. The beach is down quite a few flights of stairs, and across one road. When you get to the beach, there is a cordoned off area, specifically for Royal Mirage residents. Plenty of sun beds and parasols. No beach bar, but there are shops/restaurants nearby. The beach itself is more suited to surfing than swimming, and it was a shame to see so much litter. If the beach was cleaned up regularly, it would be a beautiful spot. We stayed on an All Inclusive package. The food was delicious and quite traditional Moroccan food. It did become a little repetitive, but I didn’t mind that, as the dishes were always full of flavour. The hotel staff were very pleasant and polite. The animation team were friendly and tried hard to make evenings fun. They were lovely. The only down side to staying here is that we were surrounded by about 4 nightclubs, which opened between 2.30am and 4.30am. So if you’re looking for peace and quiet, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. We eventually got used to it, and were able to sleep through most nights. This was sold to us as a four star resort, but I would say, due to the hotel needing a bit of a facelift, it was more like a very good quality 3 star resort. If you’re staying with friends or a large group and are looking for a lively spot, close to the beach, with good food and nice pool area, I would recommend.

I was disappointed when I first entered the room. The room is not big. The single bed is about 1 meter wide. I was planning to bring my baby to sleep in a bed. Fortunately, there is a couch that can be converted into a small bed. The bathroom decoration is simple, without the feeling of a star hotel at all. But after moving in, I slowly changed my mind. Although the decoration of the room is old, it is clean and comfortable. The long bathtub can soak the whole person in. The small balcony can watch the scenery, drink tea and chat. The hotel garden is small and exquisite, the swimming pool is suitable for children to play in the water, and there are a lot of lounge chairs for sunbathing. The beach is very close, you have to cross the road and walk for 3 minutes. Breakfast is the highlight, with fresh juices and a variety of breads. The omelettes and noodles made to order are particularly delicious. Fruit, cheese, Moroccan tea, Moroccan soup are classics. After dinner, play table tennis or table football in the small garden, a great parent-child time. In short, this is an old hotel with insufficient luxury and more than comfort. It is very cost-effective!

Liked :-) Staff were really friendly and helpful especially Aysha at the front desk when I lost my passport and had to stay longer. She was very reassuring and did everything possible to ensure we were ok. Food was tasty and enough choice. Waiting staff were brilliant. Hotel room 231 was lovely, very spacious and decorated nicely. Disliked :-( Cocktails weren't very nice, they were from a machine and just tasted of sugar. Desserts were often a bit bland. Also a Jacuzzi would have been nice. Resort entertainment only caters for French really but we were only British there so maybe this is different at different times.

The hotel inside is better, the room decoration is newer, the apartment next to it is too noisy, the roadside is near the road, the sound insulation is poor, and the price is very expensive, there is no sea. Just sauce.

I booked a family holiday for 21 of us for a week, with 15 children ranging from 3 years old to 16. It was the first time such. Large group of us was travelling, and naturally was a little worried about safety etc. The staff went over and beyond. Prior to getting there, I had lots of questions, and I was emailing them every other day and I used to receive responses straight away. The children ran around making lots of noises sometimes a little unruly but the staff never raised a voice at them or tell them off. They were always smiling. We booked five apartments, from apartment a b and c. All apartments were spacious, bedding very comfortable albeit a little dated. Cons was the bedrooms didn't have locks, and the apartment c bedroom was divided by a wall like structure with no door, so privacy was issue when sharing the apartment. The pool was small, but the children still enjoyed it. The grounds were very clean and spacious that in the courtyard we were able to have our own badminton games with makeshift courts. The location was perfect walking distance to many of the tourist areas, and of course the price we got, we couldn't argue. We had no problem with taxi driver finding the place, it seemed well known. We will never forget the hospitality we received from residence yasmina and especially how patient they were with us dealing with a very large group. If you want luxury this isn't for you, but if you want a five star service and friendliness, stay here.

Hotel location is good, close to Agadir beach, facilities are perfect, the pool is very good, the price is not good for dinner, it is not recommended. The hotel's service attitude is superb, and welcomes a lot of drinks, desserts and guides. The lobby manager is especially good to like. A dead beach was painted on the beach, not bad. Because I only stayed for one night after catching a plane, Agadir is very beautiful as a European winter resort.

The location of the hotel is very good, there are many shops and restaurants around the hotel; the hotel has its own parking lot, which is convenient for people traveling by car; the environment 1 of the hotel, especially the greenery, is very good; but for the four-star positioning hotel, the hotel The facilities are a bit dated and humble, and domestic Samsungs are much better than this. Especially the bed was particularly uncomfortable and too soft, but the area of the room was quite large; breakfast was ok, there were many Europeans and Americans, the international atmosphere was good, and Wifi was particularly fast!

When we arrived the reception area looked very nice, however that was the only thing that was nice about this hotel! The staff are so rude! As we arrive we were told we had to pay 'tax' which we were not aware of! After that there was no food or drinks available. The reception staff even refused to give us water and had to drink salty tap water to take my medication. Once we got to the rooms, they were very clean, however the Wifi is really poor. Cleaning staff are really lovely. I wouldn't even give it a 1 star. It is worse than that. Everytime we asked for something the answer would be no or it is Eid and it's closed. We came here after saving all year to relax and we couldn't even do that! The pool is filled with residence people but is bearable. When we asked to speak to the manager we were told he wasn't present at the hotel, later we realised that the manager was present and didn't want to speak to us as we were complaining about them. When we initially booked the hotel we checked the room amenities, it stated that tea, coffee and hairdryer would be present in the rooms but nothing of the sort was there! When we asked reception they told us to go and buy our own. Again being rude. The hotel charged us 17 Dirhams for a cup of tea!! My colleague who had come along with her children, aged 13 and 17 got a studio apartment, which was no different to a standard room in terms of sleeping arrangements. The 17 year old was expected to sleep on the sofa. When we asked for a single bed, they gave us a toddlers bed with wheels, which was rolling around the room as he slept on it and collapsed in the middle of the night. She then went down to complain to the reception staff, who continued to say no and argue with her. After half an hour of complaining and arguing they agreed to give her son an adult bed. However that did not arrive until saturday lunchtime, which left him sleeping on a mattress on the floor! Disgusting behaviour from the staff! When we went to reception to exchange my currency, he made such a fuss about the writing on my £20 note and my colleague's note had a slight rip to it and refused to take that! Luckily she had a few notes which i exchanged with her, otherwise we would have been short of money. When we returned to the hotel on sunday, from shopping, the receptionist called myself and my colleague and said we needed to return 196 Dirhams due to his mistake of miscalculation. We did not count the money as we were running late as we had a taxi waiting for us outside. He then continued to say aggressively, he needed to work 5 days if we did not return the money. When we calculated what we owed him back for his mistake, it turned out to be that we needed to return 170 Dirhams not 196. Luckily we had enough money between us to pay him back as we had just returned from shopping. We have been to Turkey and Marrakech and we have never experienced such rude people like we have here! I WILL NEVER BE RETURNING EVEN IF THEY PAID M

we were a party of four and were expecting to be near each other but were put in opposite blocks . as there was a fault with our friends door we asked to be moved after a bit of haggling and money exchanging hands we had that problem solved . there are four bars the pool bar only serves non alcoholic . the beach bar has limited stock and the the third bar upstairs is the main one . the first 2 days they had no whiskey and if you want brandy you had to go to the sports bar and pay for it and they had no dark rum . so there was only limited cocktails . there are 4 restaurants fish /italian/moroccan/general if you want the first three you have to book at reception for the day after . the main restaurant was a bit repetitive and it was only the last couple of days that they had sign to tell you what the food was the food was ok but limited cold meat and cheese choice .they could do with a few more staff as there were times you had to sit a table full of dirty plates and sometimes no plates to get your food . all the staff worked very hard and were very pleasant and the grounds were kept nice it might just be because its early in the season .but we had a good holiday but as a note to the management on your website it only says you have to book to go to the moroccan restaurant not to the others and it would help if there was a list of available cocktails at the bars

For those whose priority is to get to the beach as quickly as possible the location is good (10 min. to the beach) but for those who wish to imbibe the local culture and sample local shops and restaurants this is practically in the middle of nowhere. Firstly, the taximan had difficulty finding the hotel, despite the fact that it is a formidable white edifice there wasn’t much signage in the area. One staff member the reception spoke both French and English and gave us some practical advice. The hotel was quite gloomy and mostly empty, a lot of noise was made by trolleys on the uncarpeted floors, and a sense of renovations in progress. Our room had a sea view over a great hole in the ground (construction site?) and rather strangely there was just a fleeting glimpse of the sun on the balcony; the other side of the hotel monopolised the sun. The room had a tiny desk located under the flat-screen TV and lacked some of the amenities such as a kettle that make a place homely. The open shower resembled that found in a communal dressing room with brick walls at the side and the toilet seat was broken. We did not avail of the Hammam scrub and massage and found a rather soulless quality to the experience. There is indeed quite a rooftop view over the bay of Agadir and the city but the bar was still closed in the late afternoon, perhaps due to lack of guests. Breakfast, which included continental and buffet options, was available until 10.30am (too early) each morning, and we availed of the omelettes made to order. Overall a somewhat underwhelming stay despite the view and beach.

I have been to this hotel many times and I have never had any problems with staff or the hotel. When there are any problems the staff come very quickly to rectify the issue. The hotel restaurant make amazing food and the price is very good and food is fresh. I do not know why people are complaining so much . People pay little and want 7 star service . The hotel is having some renovation done aswell and I think after this renovation the hotel will even better . Location is very good and yes sometimes the taxi service by hotel is pricy but this is not hotel fault , just haggle with the driver and negotiate a smaller price and be friendly, and next time the driver sees you he will look after you good prices . To be honest I haven’t been to agadir and to my favourite hotel in agadir since February, I m missing agadir and omega team. Omega hotel keep up the good work and see you soon inshallah, I hoping this October 2020 I will be there

Villa Blanche is a haven of tranquility in Agadir. Located in a residential area walking distance from Sofitel and the croisette. It has a pool in the grounds which are manucured lush vegetation. Sun beds available around the pool- towel and sun hat provided ! It also has a heated indoor pool and a spa with hamman. Indoor pool entry is free with hamman and treatments available to pay for. Lovely central courtyard with the heady smell of roses wafting everywhere. Comfortable lounge area and a stunning high end French restaurant that is so stylish and elegant. Staff are wonderful in all areas - always engage with you. Service is impeccable without being at all intrusive. Bedrooms are all individual in terms of size and style and decor but all are extremely well appointed. Bathrooms are a good size too and shower is FAB ! I Separate bath tub. Toliet is in a separate area. I am surprised that this place is only rated 4 star by tourist board/ international ratings- it certainly feels like a 5 star experience when staying here. The only downside?- wifi was rather flaky- yes thats the only thing that I feel that could be improved here ! Oh - and the resident dog seemed to take a dislike to me but I am working on that one as he/ she is gorgeous ! We will be friends before I leave !

We stayed in a budget room which was still to a high standard. Marble bathroom, lovely living area/bedroom. Balcony with a view of sea and other accommodation. Our bed was two singles pushed together, so complained as I had booked a double room. Reception were excellent and our bed was changed to a double with the hour! Room has fridge, TV, air con and hair dryer in bathroom. Room cleaned on a daily basis, cleaning staff outstanding. No room complaints, it's a little tired in the bathroom, but nicest budget room I've stayed in. Hotel. Again, staff in this hotel are so friendly, helpful and always keen to please. Cheerful bar staff, restaurant staff relentlessly clearing tables with a friendly manner. The entertainment staff are amazing, Hicam, Toffee and Daddy to name a few. Day and night entertaining at pool area and in downstairs club and upstairs bar. The organise daily events, darts, table tennis, archery and volleyball to name a few. You can take part or if not, they don't hassle you, so you can just chill by the pool. They perform dances around pool area and in club, shows are fab. The pool has a heated and none heated pool as well as a baby pool for babies and toddlers. All have sunbeds which we had no problem getting. To get towels you get a Towel Card from main reception which is 100dr per towel deposit. You hand your card to attendants at pool area for towel. When handing towel back you get your Towel Card back. We kept cards as at pool daily and will get deposit back at end of holiday. The pool has toilets, eating area and bar. Snacks and drinks available throughout day. At the back of the hotel/pool area you can gain access to promenade and beach. Its secure and has a hotel security. The hotel has a sectioned area for hotel guests. There are no charges. The prom goes on for miles so lovely to walk. Police patrol regularly so felt safe. People approach you trying to sell, but not persistent if you refuse. Surfing area on where you can hire board and have lessons. All levels from beginners are advanced. Waves are big and amazing all the time. Summary. Gorgeous hotel with outstanding staff and facilities. Pool area is picturesque and amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again. Languages spoken. English, French and German, as well as Arabic throughout. Main language seems to be French, but no issues with most languages.

We had a luxury room at this hotel. The layout was quite different which made the room quite special. The room had everything we wanted including cofee and tea making. Bed was comfortable and there was a large balcony. Our room 176 overlooked the sea. It has its own beach area which is at the far end of the beach and is quiet. The hotel's public rooms are modern and large and exceptional. The bar restaurant served excellent food we found the local beer and wine excellent for out taste. The servive we received was exceptional given the circumstances that they were working in many had lost their jobs due to the virus but they all remained cheerful. Cannot praise this hotel highly enough and is sited in an ideal location with an esplanade to walk down the whole length of the crescent shaped bay. Definitely the best hotel that we could see in Agadir.

Where do I start! the first pics of the pool area and just walked to the bar and this is how filthy my feet were as the pool area was disgusting , dirty cigare8butts everywhere, the swimming pool needs a refurb! if you are self-catering don't expect a sunbed as the workers only look after non self catering as they rely highly on their tips and even take money for saving beds so being by the pool was not a nice experience and you were made to feel very unwelcome if you had a self catering band on. You couldn't play Crazy Golf as that too was filthy as has shown in my pictures, we changed our room and were given three other options all I can say is dirty battered and very old the fourth room was a refurb which we took it was nice but the rest of the hotel was dire and I can honestly say I have travelled a lot and this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, the food was the same every day and that too two was dire dirty food areas no tablecloth and even dirty bread baskets as you can see in my pics there were no dinner plates we had to eat off of tea plates the whole experience was that bad we tried to move hotels but on the beach who we booked with were just as unhelpful as the staff from this hotel so we had to endure a whole week please do not waste your time or money you'll be very disappointed as was I I didn't expect 5-star but I do expect cleanliness and a warm welcome, it just reminded me of a worn down Butlins as worst. I would give this hotel one star but it really needs knocking down and new staff put in !

We stayed here last week (last week in February) for the second year running. We chose to stay half board and had an apartment with a pool view on ground level. The food was good in general, Plenty of choice at breakfast with omelettes, pancakes, croissants and various other pastries, they also had bread and a toaster which was convenient. Tea time meals were hit and miss with it being out of season, not a great selection although it’s cheap enough to eat out from the array of restaurants on your doorstep. The pool areas were fab and very clean, animation team try and get everyone involved in their team and pool games. The garden areas were beautiful and very well kept. The fast food place on site it really handy for lunchtime and pizza was only 35MAD they also served burgers, panini, kebab, salad, chips and various other items you’d expect from a local kebab shop. All of the staff here are fantastic and helpful and nothing is too much bother for them. Beach is on your doorstep and the weather is fab all year round. There’s something about Agadir in general which is very relaxing, we’ve been now for 3 years in the run and it gets more enjoyable every time. We will definitely be back and we will definitely stay at this hotel again, For the price of it you really can’t fall off

I enjoyed my stay at the Golden Beach Appart Hotel from the 25th May until the 1st June 2019 with my children aged 11 and 12. I liked the Moroccan style decor of the building as this gave it a certain charm and homely, comfortable feeling. The hotel staff are an absolute credit and are always helpful. There was one night where a family in the room above was making a lot of noise with their shoes and I went down stairs and the staff on duty helpfully called up to the room and so the problem was sorted. The cleaners attend every single day to check whether you need your apartment to be cleaned and towels are changed daily. There is complimentary soap and shower gel. The restaurant food is delicious and the catering staff are sweet, charming and helpful. My son enjoyed the burger and chips, my daughter the pizza and we all thought the chicken Tagine was delicious. We had an amazing breakfast on the first morning that consisted of; 3 x fresh orange juice, 3 x hot chocolate, 3 x fried eggs, a basket of bread, pastries, olives, soft cheese and Moroccan flat bread all for around 11 Dinar, which is about £8. It would be difficult to find such a delicious breakfast at this price in London. The pool is always clean and wonderful, both myself and my children really enjoyed the pool and the chance to cool off. The lifeguard is polite and lovely and always ensures the pool area is kept clean and safe. My room was 312, and it was spacious and comfortable, and had a kitchenette that had all the basics to prepare breakfast and a few lunch and dinner meals, although we did eat about 50% of the time in restaurant. Next to the hotel there is a small shop where you can stock up on some basic items, eggs, bread, juice, water, biscuits, oil etc. The shop keepers at the hotel were so lovely and helpful, and even took the time to show me how to top up my Moroccan sim card with credit as it is totally different to how we do it in the UK. Golden beach is just a stones throw away from the beautiful beach, and there are plenty of shops just a short stroll away. You can take a taxi to Marjane which is the big supermarket for about 10 dinar which is less than a pound in an orange taxi and about 20 dinar back with your shopping. There are always plenty of taxis available, I always just asked up front what the price would be to avoid any miscommunication. I enjoyed taking a walk along the beach in the early morning and looking out for the vendor that sells fresh fruit at an absolute bargain. There is plenty of excursions available from Agadir and plenty of things to do in Agadir also. We took the trip to Paradise valley for the day, with the tour of the Argan centre, lunch and fresh fruit included and also the tour of Agadir. You can ask the hotel staff about day trips and activities. The hotel is situated in a tourist district and so there are many people only a short walk from the hotel who are offering to sell you things.

After receiving a couple of recommendations we thoroughly enjoyed a 9 night stay here in the beginning of March. The hotel looks lovely, we chose a shady pool view room. Room was nice annd big, decent wardrobe space for dresses etc. Lighting is an issue, esp for peeps trying to do their makeup. Shower was great, minibar all stocked with soft drinks. If you ask, they will leave you a couple of beers too. Its not a party hotel, more suited to people wanting to chill out and people more mature. However, we made friends and had a great time. Relaxing, just what we wanted. We were impressed with the food, for all inclusive its the best we have had. The krystal restrant wasnt as good as we had heard, avoid the rubbery lobster The Moroccon restaurant was delish! Really good drink selection, feel free to ask for cocktails which are not on the menu. They made me lovely espresso martinis on a daily basis. We went to the spa. I had a facial, which i thoroughly enjoyed. Husband had a massage, he liked it, but then went to the local one accross the road, paid less than half price, and prefered that. Pool area is impressive, right on the beach too. The bar staff were especially friendly. Some of the restraunt staff could be moody. I get some of the comments about the French being prioritised, but they tip/demand service. The lady staff were not friendly. We sat on the terrace for tea. Wait for a table, its a much nicer experience than in the restrant. Tip servers you like for extra special treatment. It was my husbands birthday on the last night. They made him a cake and had a bottle of plonk on the house! We will definitely consider staying in a Riu hotel in the future, dont think we will return to Agadir though, its nice, but once you have done the markets, been to an argan oil cooperative in the mountains etc, there isnt anything i want to go back and see again. Plus the haggling was doing my head in at the end. They are trying to rip you off with a smile on their face.

the hotel is very nice with great staff (reception, bar, room, and restaurant) however there are some details to look at for just a bit of change, but in general, it is not of a big deal the only negative point is the hotel management allow some people to enter to the hall to sell their excursions.. the khalid from world2meet guy is a very bad guy because we did not take excursions with him so he does not even say hello anymore and he avoids us all the time.. it is not Professionnel from him, and he did not want to confirm our transfer back to the airport and because of that, we struggled and we took a taxi because we did not want to miss our flight. piece of advice: if you want to go on a city tour or anything else; do take the excursions with Taxi ABDUL it is cheaper and safer for your money. there is another Khalid in the hotel (guest service) and if you feel that you want or need anything at all you can go to him and he is all ears for you. the swimming pool is heated for about 26 dergrees. the Narjis restaurant was great as well and the belly dancer was awesome too. we will come back inshalla. :)

The rooms were cleaned every day and have decent self catering facilities but are ready for an update. The beds were firm but comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good but when the hotel was busy there were not enough staff to manage the service properly so be prepared to wait a long time for a plate or a croissant if there are a lot of guests. The parking outside the hotel was convenient. There are lots of restaurants and supermarkets in the area and the location is nice. The rooms facing the street can be quite noisy until late so ask for a higher floor if you are easily disturbed. The wifi worked OK in all areas of the hotel. There's also a nice swimming pool and there's a free baggage storage area if you take any overnight tours away from the hotel. The staff were not the friendliest we experienced in Morocco but they tried to help when we had questions.

Our apartment ( and the hotel in general) was spotless and every single member of staff was friendly, professional and went out of their way to help us with whatever was needed. The apartment and balcony were spacious and well decorated, housekeeping was excellent, there was a kettle that couldn’t be heated on the hob but no tea or coffee was provided. The( small) kitchen is basic and the units are so high that you cannot see inside them and have to stand on a chair to reach anything. We booked half board but the restaurant was closed all week so food was delivered to our room each evening. The food was delicious and well prepared but we didn’t get any choice of meal and several times food was delivered which we didn’t like ( and no food was available on the day we arrived as it was a bank holiday). Breakfast was the same every day - herb omelette, orange juice and 3 danish pastries. The menu said apple, grapefruit and carrot juice were also available but apparently not in low season and although a tagine of eggs was available as an alternative this contained meat and was not suitable for vegetarians. The hotel website mentions a vending machine for drinks and a coffee shop but we didn’t not see either of these. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the beach but a good 20 minute walk to the big wheel and the tourist area and there are very few restaurant around the hotel The pool area was immaculate but there are only 6 double sun beds which were often fully occupied- not sure where people will sit in peak season. The pool was freezing and the children’s paddling pool is in the shade all day. WiFi in the hotel was great but the only English channel on the TV was the news channel. Key cards to enter the room often didn’t work but Reception were always very helpful to fix this issue and when one of our toilets wasn’t working this was repaired immediately. Overall a great little hotel with fantastic staff but very limited catering facilities .

Excellent value for money in one of the friendliest hotels I have ever stayed in. From the reception staff; who immediately let us grab the last of the all inclusive dinner on arrival, before checking in. To the cleaners, restaurant and bar staff, even the security guards - all were fantastic. Lovely rooms, modern and spacious. Cleaned daily to a high standard. Well maintained gardens and pools. Food typical of an all inclusive buffet resort - everything you would expect to a good standard - nice extras on certain days, the pistachio ice cream is lovely! Bar staff are the best, plenty of banter and most new your drinks with little queueing. Shout out to the following staff and thanks for your great service - Karim, Ismail (Smiler), Ibrahim, Hamza the Liverpool fan! Will definitely consider returning to this hotel. Agadir itself and a visit to Marrakesh made this a great holiday, top weather, gutted to be back into the world of Corona!!
