I mentioned not being aware of such ( as this was something new to me and I travel very often). Didn't want to put that on my credit card and have to wait 7-10 business days for that to go back on my card and really didnt want to give up the only $100 bill I had on me, so I asked about canceling the room and that was not an option! Period! And not a very professional understanding attitude while informing us of this. The longer I stood there I thought to myself, gosh..I feel like if you have to pay a deposit upfront especially at $100, that we must be in a bad area or high crime or obviously a place that has been trashed by guest before and I wanted no part of that. So I was telling my boyfriend the way I started feeling and the lady behind the counter said she was going to call the police! I thought for what???? Call them! Y'all can't be mad at me because this night of rest had turned into a bad choice and I didnt feel safe. Very unprofessional! There was no coffee made at 7am, let alone complimentary breakfast like I read and thought I was aware of. Then when there was no coffee, I asked for change for the vending machine and they didn't have that either. Pool wasn't open on top of all of the other. Never again!!!! Not any property or sister property associated with Quality Inn.
