Holiday Inn Chicago is in a good location, I am a graduate of Uic University 🎓, convenient, medium-sized accommodation and domestic four-star hotel, breakfast is very good, but the variety is small, you can eat enough, but unlike There are slippers and toothbrushes in the country, so you need to bring your own. The summary is medium level. If you have the opportunity to go to the Hilton Hotel by the lake, it is convenient to see the lake. Better, Chicago can see the old American famous buildings, have a good environment, and there are many people who sleep on the streets. Can bring a good experience, very good.

was welcomed here by the staff and informed if we drank at the bar and mentioned where we were staying we would get 10% off drinks and maybe some food? stayed in a nice size room with two single beds although it was a bit of a squeeze to walk past the end of one of them it was based in the greek town of the city and not far away from a subway station and union train station 10 mins walk max) the breakfast came within the price and consisted of white/brown bread, toaster available, some jams, boiled eggs, two or three choices of cereal ,hot drinks and cranberry or orange juice there was also some type of communal lounge which looked nice and a noticeboard downstairs with local history and useful pieces of activities locally, and a leaflet stand upstairs for many local activities. my friend stayed here for a second is it a few days later and I would stay here again

I attended a meeting at McCormick Place for a week. I sought a reasonable, safe hotel within walking distance. Jaslin Hotel is a new structure, neatly constructed, with elevators. I was in 207 with a queen bed facing Cermak Road. The bed was comfortable. I slept well. I was not awoken by sounds from the hotel or the street. There was a refrigerator where I stored perishable items to eat. There was no stove or microwave. A coffee maker was in the room. Sevings of caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee and two tea servings were provided daily. Shampoo-conditioner, lotion, and hand soap were provided daily. An iron and ironing board were in the closet. A comforter was in the closet. There was a shower without handrails. The hotel has no restaurant. Several stores mainly with Chinese foods were nearby. There are safes in each closet. I walked to and from McCormick Place two or three times daily. That was fine. I would be reluctant to walk when ice and snow are present because there were some irregularities in the curbs and sidewalks. The hotel is in Chinatown. The red line metro is a couple of blocks away. The green line metro to Midway Airport is a few blocks away. The hotel is closer to Midway than to O'Hare. This is a fine, safe hotel for budget travelers.

I always use Hilton brand hotels for all my travel! This location has strengthened my resolve to once again continue in that process. I was on the 23 floor, which is ironically the same floor my father lives on at his apartment. The view was spectacular! The room was spacious and immaculate, clean and very comfortable. Since I'm an Hhonors member and already accumulating points (on my way to Diamond!) I decided to take advantage of the free breakfast each day. As with all Hilton Garden Inns in the chain, this one does not disappoint! The food, the ambiance, and the service was stellar. One day I didn't have cash for a tip, but the young lady who served me, I believe her name was Keisha, was not deterred and said that positive feedback was quite alright. I had left a nice tip the day before. Not only did I increase the tip on my last day, I want to make sure in this review that people see that there are those who serve others with a smile, friendly demeanor and graciously who are often overlooked. This staff took keen interest in making this a wonderful experience for me, the customer, making me feel more like a friend! This was the first time in all the years coming home that I've stayed at one of our highrise hotels and I must say I enjoyed every minute of it! This will definitely be a return trip in the future!

I have lived across the street from his hotel for 20 years. The hotel itself is relatively new, and when I locked myself out of my building late one night last year I spent the night there. Since it was a new hotel it was very clean and in ship shape. However, once COVID hit, this hotel has since filled most of its rooms with Section 8 housing residents. A steady waft of marijuana smoke comes from park across the street from the hotel, where the residents go every night. There is a lot of late night arguments, and worst of all, the crime in the neighborhood has skyrocketed. Stabbings and shootings, which had been extremely rare within a block or two radius, are now a weekly occurrence. There was a stabbing right in front of the hotel two nights ago, and last week someone was shot a block north of the hotel. Many residents are males in their twenties in wheel chairs. This hotel is quickly returning this neighborhood to the dirty, high-crime area it was in the late 90s. Judging from the number of real estate key locks outside my building, I would say about 1/4 of the people in my building are trying to sell their units. Over the past few months this has become a very dangerous neighborhood again, and it's all coming from the current residents of the Homewood Suites.

It was not convenient for the children to transition for a few days, and the rooms were not bad. More than 400 yuan a night was not cheap, and the price increased to 600 later. But it is cheap for the United States. Breakfast is not included. It's good to arrive early if there is room available to check in early.

Marriott Titanium. Had a weekend staycation with the wife. If I could choose again, I would have picked another property. Good hard product, below average soft product. Pros: - Location: We live in the city so it was nice to stay in a different part, the Financial District, which is very quiet during the weekend. - The Florentine (on-site restaurant): The food is very good, but the staff at the restaurant is amazing. We ate 3 meals there bc room service is not being offered at this time and the staff was amazing the entire time. They deserve 5 stars. - Rooms: Recently updated rooms. Cons: You know how you can tell the weekend is going to go as soon you deal with check in? That was this situation. - Titanium benefits: The least you can do is acknowledge my loyalty. Lounge is closed, which I understand due to Covid, but 1k points instead of offering a breakfast instead is something I would expect from a Residence Inn or Courtyard. - Requests not followed up: Asked for run of the mill things (water, extra pillows) to be sent up, but required follow up calls and requests to get them. - Front of house staff: I got the feeling that they did not want to be there. I know that the hotel industry is strange right now with Covid and uncertainties. However, I would think that when they do get a guest with loyalty they would make a bit of an effort to make them feel more welcome. If this is how the hotel operates now, I would expect the same during normal times. The restaurant is giving this hotel an average stay vs below average. I will not be back.

No double bed room only booked a double room, the location is perfect, just next to Hilton, in the Loop area, out is the park area, take a few blocks to the art gallery, museum or something, the surrounding environment is safe, because it is tourist-intensive In the area, basically everyone in the block is asking for money, you just ignore it. There is a small bathtub that I like, the service attitude is good, I did not come out to the front desk to react to the coin, but I didn’t say that I directly returned the money...door*** enthusiasm, because of the tip, even the two served me together... I will put a tip for cleaning the room. I have taken it for a day or two, and I haven’t taken it for the rest of the day. The plaza hotel environment is better than this. This is inn, the facilities are a bit old... There are train tracks, people who are afraid of swearing may not stand it. But Hilton and plaza all have this problem... It’s very convenient to come out and buy it. The airport takes the blue line to jackson and walks out on the state street for 15-20 minutes.

We stayed for 3 nights over New Years due to a family member at the nearby hospital. Every single member of the staff exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Loved the shower! We visited the restaurant, used the shuttle and used room service. This team was a delight and every single encounter was just a pleasure. Thanks for making our otherwise stressful time so much better. We shall be back soon and will stay here when we do.

This hotel is good to say, the location is very good, it is very close to the subway station, and the surrounding traffic is very convenient. There is some noise if the windows are on the same side, but it is very lucky The room is arranged on the other side, so it is very quiet, and the room is large and clean, and the price is very high. I will stay next time

I recently visited The Blackstone for my second stay. Since I was alone this time, it allowed me the chance to focus on the quality of my stay in itself. During such a strange time as the COVID-19 pandemic in the US, and searching for a new home in the Chicago area, comfort and solace is hard won. I was able to have it, in part, because of the beauty of the hotel as my lodging. The rooms at the Blackstone are comfortable and even luxurious. If you can, try to stay in one of the rooms that allows a view of the Lake. The sunrise from the hotel is magical and truly relaxing. The amenities of the hotel are also fabulous. Restaurants, shops, Navy Pier, museums, Grant Park, Millennium Park, and other activities are all comfortably walkable from here. The Blackstone is artsy and gorgeously whispers its significant Chicago history to its guests. The staff in the hotel are its best secret, though. At each service point, the Blackstone staff was professional, helpful, friendly...even to the point of conversation about the local scene. In particular, I would like to thank Lilly for her help on the day I checked in, times I came to the desk for snacks and information, and even on the day I checked out. Her work is an asset to the hotel and its brand. Thank you for a great stay!

There is a very popular restaurant for breakfast on the first floor of the hotel. The taste is good. You can watch the night view of Chicago on the top floor and take photos. It feels good to stay. I have stayed twice and walked to the surrounding attractions. Trump Hotel across the river

Let me start by saying that I was so looking forward to our stay at the Swissotel Chicago - for a very special occasion. And it was off to a great start when the bell man greeted us and escorted us to the front desk. But that was the end of our pleasant experience with Swissotel, even though I had called in advance to let them know this was a special occasion. We were greeted at the front desk by a cold and unwelcoming individual named Nicole Thompson. She was horribly rude and unfriendly. When I inquired about the bill because I was surprised it was more than anticipated from my online reservation, she seemed bothered with my questions and made me feel like I was being problematic, instead of just trying to get clarification. We left the front desk feeling very unwelcome and it left a bad taste in our mouths, but I wasn't going to let it damper the day and instead, looked forward to our pre-booked city view room... instead, Ms. Thompson put us in a room on the 4th floor directly in front of the elevator, which is neither a river view or a city view, but a concrete view of a roof of a building next door - and in the distance, a little sliver of the lake. Even thinking about it now upsets me so much. So we were left with a room without a city view, paying more than I expected, and didn't get the $10 per day credit for not using housekeeping service. I am so disappointed with my stay at the Swissotel and will never recommend it to anyone.

Stayed here for three nights with my son while he looked at colleges. The location is great - right next to a CTA stop, so even on a freezing night in January, it was easy to get places. The neighborhood has lots of affordable places to eat and shop. It is a residential neighborhood as opposed to a touristy one. Our room faced a brick wall, but that meant no street noise. I liked that the room was a real suite with a door between the bedroom and living room. Too often places say they are a "suite," but it really just means there is a couch. I could get up earlier than my son and not bother him. And I love any hotel that provides robes. So great to have one to wear after taking a shower! The breakfast is basic - just coffee, juice, boxed cereal, toast - but enough to keep you going while you wait for your teen son to wake up (are you sensing a theme here?) Lots of places within a block or two to get a heartier breakfast, though. There are few amenities here. No business center, no place to use a computer or printer, no exercise room, no restaurant. But it is a very good basic hotel. Because the rooms are suites, there seemed to be a lot of rooms with a lot of people in them. When we arrived, there were several rooms on our hallway with their doors open and people running between them drinking wine and yelling to each other. I think the front desk said it was a bridal party. On the next two nights, there was a huge group of people in the lobby playing games and drinking beer. There is no way anyone else could have just hung out in the lobby. The staff did an excellent job at getting people to keep the sound down and get out of other guests' way, but still, a lot of big groups, so maybe not the best hotel if you want a sedate atmosphere. I imagine it is a lot quieter if you stay mid-week. I was supposed to stay at this hotel again in March, but had to cancel at the last minute because my event was cancelled the night before due to the growing threat of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although I had passed the cancellation deadline, the staff happily gave me a refund. As soon as this lockdown ends, I hope to get to Chicago and stay in this hotel again!

If you are staying to visit someone in Rush hospital, this is the place to stay. There is a parking garage 50 feet from the hotel with overnight rates cheaper than the hospital hourly rates. I walked two blocks to the hospital through a good neighborhood with no issues. They also had a shuttle if the walk is too much or weather doesn't permit.

The hotel was good and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was great and ideal for exploring the city. John in particular on the front desk was really helpful and friendly throughout our stay. My only real criticism was that the hotel has a long was to go in terms of sustainability. In our rooms the coffee cups were disposable and even at breakfast the plates, cups and cutlery were all disposable. This is really unnecessary. It would be absolutely be possible to make these all things that can be washed and reused. In addition we were told that if we were happy to reuse our towels we just had to hang them up. Despite doing this, they were replaced every day, We would have been happy to use the towels to be more enviornmentally friendly but weren't given the option.
