|13.65km from city centerThis was a great hotel! They did everything right. From the moment we pulled up we were pleased. Check in was fast. The staff friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The setup for towels at the pool/beach was convenient. They have lots of activities for you to participate in. They have a shuttle bus that will take you to and from business within a 2 mile area!!! So no need for Uber! The hotel sits right on the beach with beach access. The view of the beach is beautiful!!! The only thing I recommend is that they upgrade their cable tv setup. There is no channel guide and there is no options to watch personal streaming services you may have. However, that alone won’t stop me from booking again. Great job Hilton! 😀More

|1.13km from city center- [ ] We left the Westgate Myrtle Beach Ocean Front resort a few hours ago. Reservations # 16242421 & 16242422. We are owners of a Westgate timeshare and must say we are extremely disappointed with this Myrtle Beach location. As another review mentioned, the staff is impolite, the hotel is filthy, and they will charge you things after you leave that do not make sense. We had two rooms under my name and both were in different buildings- which is annoying giving we were two families with young kids that wanted to be together. One of the rooms was super dirty with cheese in the freezer and hair in the bathroom (pics attached for reference). We flagged this to several people (concierge, in house manager, receptionist, via SMS, etc) and it wasn’t until we got really upset that we had the room fully cleaned because this obviously has not been done after the previous guest left. Otherwise, please do note they will not clean the rooms during your stay due to Covid (at least this is the official message but I assume the real reason is that they are short staffed) and when I asked for the cleaning supplies to do it myself, they only brought a broom the size of a Melissa & Dug cleaning toy set - not even a real size broom and a dustpan. So, be prepared to have to clean with it the sand or others during your stay regardless of the length of your visit. Also, we brought a dog with us and paid a pet fee for it. Reviewing now the statement of the charges we noticed they charged the pet fee to both rooms. We called to ask for an explanation and we were told they assumed the pet was in both rooms, so they charged the fee to both - even when the dog never left our room except for its regular walks outside the hotel complex. So, I will be expecting the refund of the second fee that, without authorization, they charged to our credit cards. So, to recap: they do not do a deep cleaning between guests, they do not clean at all during your visit, do not offer cleaning supplies, if you ask for cleaning supplies they bring you a broom that seems from a toy set, the staff is rude, they will charge things that do not make sense, and it is expensive as any other resort in the area. We paid almost $4k for the two rooms for 5 evenings. So, do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. We did it here since we thought we were going to have a similar experience to what we have had at other Westgate Resorts but it was not the case. So, it is not worth the investment. Thanks

|2.04km from city centerThis was our first trip to Myrtle Beach October 8-11, with two children ages 3 and 8. We did weeks worth of research before choosing this resort. **You will always find scary and negative reviews for places but I promise you that The Breakers does not disappoint! (Unless you are difficult to please!)** We stayed in the Paradise building on the 20th floor. The view was amazing! The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The water pressure in the shower was great! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and eat meals. The employees at this resort work hard to keep it clean and safe. Housekeeping checked in daily to replenish towels and take our trash. We enjoyed the pools and hot tubs and lazy river. This is a great location, steps from the ocean and walking distance to stores and restaurants. It was nice to have a Starbucks right across the street! It would have been nice if the kids pool was operating since our children and other families were interested in utilizing that amenity. However I was informed by front desk staff that operating hours are determined by the weather and the security team. The shuttle service was great and the driver was knowledgeable and friendly. We were picked up from the airport and were able to schedule rides to local attractions. Overall it was a great trip and we are already looking forward to returning! Thank you Breakers!

|1.67km from city centerYou can't judge a book by it's cover. The hotel is definitely vintage and has seen better days. But it was clean and well maintained on the inside. The location was a quick walk to the beach. My room was very clean and the beds were soft. The employees were pleasant and knowledgeable. Shamekea took very good care to make sure that my room was clean and that I had plenty of fresh linens. My only disappointment was that the pool was shut down for 2 days and we had toilet issues. I would recommend this hotel to anyone I would take clean rooms and great customer service over how aesthetically pleasing the building looks.

|4.07km from city centerWe really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn! The hotel is centrally located for lots of activities including golf, dinners at Market Common, exploring Murrells Inlet and Brookgreen Gardens. It's less than an hour to Pawleys Inlet and Georgetown SC as well. And of course, Myrtle Beach itself is on your doorstep. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. Check-in was a breeze. All the hotel amenities were explained to us in detail. Everyone we encountered at the hotel were friendly and knowledgeable. We especially enjoyed our interactions with Julian, our breakfast server. The lobby is beautiful - very bright and light, with plenty of seating throughout. The free coffee in the morning is a definite plus. We had a package that included a great hot breakfast to order, but we would have had no hesitation purchasing it separately as the prices were reasonable and the food plentiful. There is also a convenient market area with snacks, beverages, etc. including beer and wine. Our King bedroom was huge and spotlessly clean. Everything was in great working condition such as the TV, mini fridge, and bathroom. The mattress was particularly comfortable! On Day 3, we asked Housekeeping to refresh our towels, empty trash (although we subsequently noticed that there were large recycling and trash cans conveniently located by the ice machine) and they arrived quickly. The room was quiet, with good quality blackout shades, that provided a great environment for a good night's sleep. We would have no hesitation staying here again! Thanks to the Hilton Garden Inn team for a wonderful stay.

|3.19km from city centerWe spent two weeks there in September (last two weeks) and had an awesome time. Ocean View was awesome - saw dolphins almost every morning. Clean, great amenities, helpful pleasant staff. You always saw people working around the pool, landscaping, cleaning. Our room was very clean - even had little swans made out of the towels on the beds when we arrived. Opted out for daily cleaning - but had them come once in the middle - they were there within 20 minutes. Asked for towels at one point - we had those within 5 minutes. Tons of amenities. Beach was great. Great for families or couples. Restaurants are convenient. Best sleep ever - the mattress was comfortable and pillows so comfortable that we are ordering some for our home. Highly recommend - can't wait to go back. We keep looking at the pictures and wish we were still there!!! We were in the Pinnacle Bldg. Ocean Front - Amazing View!

|2.84km from city centerWe stayed here from Wednesday to Sunday with our two dogs, and this hotel was EXCELLENT. The room was perfect and actually bigger than we thought it would be with two beds. The only complaint we have is we wish there were queen beds instead of full size but that wouldn't make my review any different. Everyone we encountered at the front desk was extremely nice and accommodating, we actually enjoyed saying hello to them every morning. They have a nice courtyard that we were allowed to let our dogs run in, of course we only did that if there were no one out there and we did ask permission before we just let them. The grounds were very well kept and we were so close to everything that an uber was only $7 but still far enough way that you dont have the stuff that the strip has, IE loud music, tons of traffic, not safe. We would 100% stay here again if we travel to Myrtle Beach.

|0.4km from city centerI got the suite with a jacuzzi and it was great. 2 beds, full kitchen and a living room overlooking the beach/ocean. Can't say enough good things about the room or the staff. I was there for 2 1/2 weeks and my dad came down for the last week for his birthday. I had great wi-fi which was needed for work the first week and a couple of minor issues were quickly resolved by the front office. The jacuzzi was really nice and really HOT. While I can't say that this place is a 5 star fancy like the Ritz, it is 5 star for value. Clean, great price and the best location going. Right next to the pier with a great restaurant and about a mile from the heart of beach attractions (including the Bowery!). Walked there on the boardwalk several times. The staff was amazing especially my housekeeper, Laura. Kept my room spotless even when I left half the beach and popcorn in the room. I will be back!

|2.46km from city centerWe just arrived yesterday and were skeptical after a bad experience with Booking.com We booked this stay in July and 2 weeks ago received notification it had been canceled. I immediately contacted the resort directly and rebooked. They were unable to get us in the same room Saturday thru Saturday but had to put us in a non oceanfront room the first night. Not liking this room, not gonna lie, but hopefully today when we check in to our next room it will be better. Having said that, we had a great first night!! JUDY at registration was so sweet and understanding. She tried her best to put us in a room where we wouldn't have to switch today. She couldn't but did tell us we would be in our room early today and she was super helpful. Thank you Judy!! We then went down to the tiki bar. It was 6:15 and we were told they would be closing at 7. But there was a big party arriving around 7:30 and SARAH agreed to stay open a little later and she was fantastic!! The drinks we had were perfect and she was a wonderful bartender!! CARLA, the cook, also did a wonderful job feeding everyone when they arrived. Neither of them complained about staying over but did it willingly and they were both pleasant and professional!! So although we do have to check out and then back in, which we are not happy about, everything has been great so far!!! I will write another review once we are in our permanent room!

|9.8km from city centerThe front desk staff is incompetent. At check in, I informed the desk clerk that I would be paying with cash for my family's stay and I wanted two rooms for two nights. The desk clerk then took my card to put a ”deposit hold” (which turned out to be the full amount for the stay) and booked one room for one night. At this time I corrected him and said I need two rooms for two nights. I get all my card keys, settle in and the next day I get a call from the Marriott telling me I missed checkout for one of the rooms. It turns out, he had booked one room for two nights and the other room for one. Straightened that out, stayed for the second night, and upon checking out found out the second night was charged to my card and could not be reversed after I told them I'd be paying cash at checkout. Inconvenient but whatever. I pay the rest that is owed using cash and I am told the deposit they held on my card at check in would be returned to my account within 48hrs. The next day I receive 1/4th of the hold back on my card. Four days later and the rest is still not returned to my account. At this time I call the Marriott and they inform me that the desk clerk that told me my deposit would be returned within 48hrs was wrong and that it would actually be 5-7 business days. Dealing with this establishment has been a hassle since check in and what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation turned into issue after issue. My family and I will not be returning to any Marriott.

|4.76km from city centerThe GOOD - 1. Location, does not get better than this at Myrtle Beach. This is located at the end of the 'strip of myrtle beach' as is away from the crowds on Ocean blvd. 2. The hotel is well made in terms of design. Whatever you need is located at a convenient spot. Parking is close to the rooms in both the buildings, but costs you $10/night. 3. Good sleep quality, I got a good 8-hour sleep The BAD - 1. Condition of the rooms is awful. The carpet is the dirtiest I have ever seen in any hotel. Imagine the amount of dirt they hold and the air you will breathe inside the room! 2. No USB points. Clearly indicates that the hotel has not been upgraded for decades. Luckily, found one USB point in the alarm clock. 3. Room Service - The rooms are cleaned only when requested. I requested. The guy came, vacuumed the room, made the bed and left! Did not even collect the used towels from the floor or place new toiletries. The towels remained in the room until our check out. The UGLY - 1. Pool - Dirty pools and Ian (hurricane) was the excuse. Most other ocean front hotels had clean pools with people in them. The pools in this property were filled with filth and insects. The lazy river is actually the 'dirty river'. The pool was so called ”cleaned” after I complained, but it was still very dirty, so I just avoided to get in it. 2. Property Maintenance - This could potentially be the best resort in MB but it is so poorly maintained, it's a shame! One of the employees at Hilton Grand Vacations told me in this trip that this is meant to be the ”overflow property” of Hilton in MB and because it is so poor, it might be stripped off of the Hilton badge next year; can't say if it was true, but clearly indicates that employees are aware of the condition of this resort. Had this been a properly maintained resort, I would have stayed here during all my visits to MB, but I aint coming back!

We were checked in by William the 3 to 11 guy who was very personable and knowledgeable .We stayed in room 1120 which had been remodeled, super clean ,comfortable beds and a wonderful stand in shower. Leaving we were checked out by Mr McIver, who himself was super nice and checked us out in a timely manner. For picking out a hotel from online my husband did a great job. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Throughly enjoyed my stay and will return. If you go give a shout out to William, he will make sure your well taken care of. Again, thank you for a wonderful stay.

|16.31km from city centerThis place is a solid 3. Reliable and pretty decent. For me the 5 out of 5 component was the staff. Every single person was warm, welcoming, and helpful. They welcomed me as an Elite member and made sure everything I needed was accommodated for. What needs some help here are the physical accommodations itself. Its by far not the nicest Fairfield I have stayed in. Its a bit older and dated and you can tell it needs a little love. Our sink area in the bathroom smelled like mold and mildew. The room was clean and outdated comparatively speaking (I am staying at the other Fairfield in town currently and its much newer and updated). The breakfast isnt as expansive as others I saw - I was dying for some fresh fruit, even a banana. The woman who manages the breakfast though, wow she was amazing! They may need more staff on hand, which is likely a Marriott thing. Every time I came into the lobby there was no one to be found. I imagine that they were probably doing other things which took them away, but it just made me a little weary that anyone could walk in from the street and no one would stop them. Not my favorite feature. Thank you for the stay and for your kindness!

|8.9km from city centerIt was one night, like many other families we just wanted to go to the beach and we did not before check-in and during the stay. My room was on the 4th floor, the elevator was not working, an employee had to come with a key every time someone I wanted to use it, I'm sure I'm not the only one who omits a complaint about the same thing, the ac was dripping, the microwave dirty, the bathroom tub with mildew and some blue stains that could have been easily removed with a magic eraser, the bathroom floor with sand, the bathroom had no fan, the hair dryer bag with a lot of hair was disgusting. The next morning we went to breakfast and there was a juice spill on the floor, I went and reported it and an employee came with a disgusting mop black with dirt and with that same dry juice, it was a torment to see her do that. The customer service was unpleasant, they gave me a bag with two waters but I never heard ”thank you for being a Hilton honors” and the employees walking everywhere with cell phones in hand during business hours, there were two in particular that were recharged in the hallway wall to watch their videos with laud music and up to four together smoking outside.

A great place for family’s with kids, but make sure you get a room on the higher floors. My main complaint is we were in the 5th floor, which is the first floor of residential rooms. Floor 3 and 4 are sales demo rooms and meeting rooms to sell you into timeshares. The reason I say get up higher is, there is a night club that plays heavy bass every night until 2am, and you can feel it though the walls on my floor. I’m used to staying up late, but it is a bit annoying. The only other inconvenience is in my 10 day stay, they will only clean your room once, midweek. Even after I requested new linen and towels, they said maid service is gone, and is not possible. They did offer to drop off sheets and towels. I guess this is the difference between staying at a real Hilton vs a timeshare, and they do pressure you to taking a 2 hour “tour”. With all the services out there to help you get out of a time share, I’m surprised anyone would still buy into that. The pros out weight the cons, so overall it’s a great place to stay. The beach is amazing as most of Myrtle beach is. If you want peace and quiet, go to north Myrtle beach. If you want close access to the party scene and stores etc, this is the place .

The breakfast buffet is nice with rotating options daily, and while they have plenty of seating it can be hard finding a table. We enjoyed having the coffee shop serving actual Starbucks drinks!! And two different restaurants on site. The valet parking was ideal, they do have self parking which is cheaper -but we prefer valet for convenience. The guest and room service was timely and food was good! Our family loved the pool area as it had 3 different pool areas outside with life guards on duty which was nice if you have kids! There are towel dispensers at the pool area to take -so you don’t even need to bring towels!

The resort is busy with people coming and going all the time so it is noisy and the walls are very thin. Trust me you can hear everything! Our 1 bedroom unit was perfect for 2. The location at the southern end of the Boardwalk means that you can walk everywhere and there are numerous restaurants right at your door. The kitchen could do with a few more items, including wine glasses. The bed was comfy and the bathroom clean, however there is nowhere to put your soap and toiletries in the shower. The decor is very spartan but the views make up for it. The resort also has many heated pools so this is a year round destination and is wonderful for couples and families.

|2.46km from city centerWe've been staying at this Hampton for more than 12 years and always enjoyed it. This year there were too many problems to ignore. Check in was very slow, we waited for almost an hour to get checked in, which has never happened before. The elevators need some maintenance. It sounds like there is a lot of sand in the door track and not sure if they were cleaned while we were there. The room we finally got was nice, although the couch needed to be cleaned and the room could be updated. The breakfast was good, the usual Hampton meal. They have 2 areas to serve breakfast since this is a large hotel, however only one area was open so breakfast was very busy. The breakfast employees did a great job of keeping up though. The pool wasn't cleaned the first day we were there which was a Monday so you can imagine how much sand was in it after a busy weekend. Also made me wonder if the water had been tested for cleanliness. The shower area, when you come off the beach, wasn't cleaned for the 4 days we were there, so rinsing your feet off did no good. That's probably why the pools are full of sand. The boardwalk steps are being overwhelmed by the plants from the sand dunes and look to be in disrepair. But probably the most disturbing thing was the dog situation. We really feel Hilton has made a big mistake allowing dogs on all their properties. This property is not set up for dogs to do their ”business.” The only convenient grassy locations are right by the swimming pools and I do mean very close proximity. Anyone that has ever had a dog knows that no matter how well you try to pick up after a dog, many times there is ”residue” left behind, not to mention all the urninating they are doing in the grass. We sat on our balcony and watched dogs using the grass as their bathroom and then watched people walk through the grass and get in the pool. Not a good set up at all! I really hesitated reviewing this year, but felt the hotel really needs to get back to what made them the number one hotel in Myrtle Beach for years. Not sure if we will give them another chance, which is sad because we really loved this hotel!

Received a warm welcome from Ty'Janae and La'Toyua at the front desk. Big smiles and great sense of humor. Shaniya made sure that we had everything to make our stay amazing. My children enjoyed collecting sea shells and swimming in the surf right out front. Then jumping in the heated pools and hitting the game room. Rooms are very clean and comfy and have a kitchen for preparing snacks. We saw Pelicans and Dolphins playing in the ocean. Sunrise every morning from the balcony. A nice gym to work off all that BBQ. Great restaurants in house and out. Close to all the attractions and parks. Definitely go to Magnolia's for delicious BBQ buffet. Big thanks to Maria and all the house keepers and the gentlemen that keeps the pools warm and crystal clean. Our family had so much fun. Thank You ! We will be back !

|3.9km from city centerThis was the second time we stayed in this hotel, mainly because we had our dog with us part of the trip and Red Roof doesn’t charge pet fee. The first time we visited was in the winter and the room we stayed was fairly clean, but this time we visited in June, the room was not as clean. First after we checked in, we got a room either it was not cleaned or someone still in it; there were towels and clothes everywhere. We went back to the front desk and changed to a different room, the room showed it was cleaned but the floor was still pretty dusty and sandy, we were too tired to request room change again so we just used the towel to wipe the floor ourselves. Overall the hotel was OK for the price we paid. It is a lower budget hotel and dated. I have no problem with an older hotel, but just wish they can at least clean the room better.

|2.13km from city centerStayed here two nights April the 13th to the 15th ...was really looking forward to getting away for a midweek weekend..upon check-in was informed that because of our gold status with Marriott, that we couldn't use the club lounge because we were Only gold but found out later on that the club lounge wasn't even open... strike one.... First night went well had a decent night's sleep second night concierge called us at 9:00 in the morning after staying out late because it is Myrtle Beach after all..... Told them we weren't interested 9:15 they called back Again, told them again we were not interested ,we are trying to sleep, 9:30 got a four alarm banging on our door from housekeeping even though we had the privacy sign on our door, pretty much ruined our second night sleep.... addressed all these issues with Gavin the front desk manager he said he would give us a sizable discount because of our inconvenience and he was very apologetic..... We never received the Sizable discount.... Tried to call Gavin back numerous times he never returned our call... Even talked to a Miss Kaylee at the front desk and she said those early morning calls were standard practice with Marriott and we told her we have stayed at over 100 Marriotts and nobody's ever called us that early in the morning even at Walt Disney world..... was finally able to get into touch with general manager Miss Suzanne, after numerous phone calls, who told us there was nothing she Would do for our inconvenience.....Oh well..... outside of all this hotel is a good three to four blocks away from the beach definitely not oceanfront we had an far away, ocean view room which was nice , acceptable ,and comfortable .Gym was nice ,nice small indoor pool... they do charge $8 for parking regardless of your status with Marriott.... They have a nice lounge and very good late night restaurant..... Would really have loved to give this hotel a higher rating, but in the long run Very disappointed about nothing being done about our basic loss of a second night's sleep..... And also being told by the general manager that there was nothing she Would do for Us !

|13.29km from city centerOn one hand, the location is great with ample parking and EV charging at the Enbeassy suites, where we check in. On the other, the condo tower is a walk around the pool and constrution site. Ice machines are located back at the Enbassy Tower. The Hilton website allows us to use the pool amenities. As far as free breakfast, we were not informed until our reservation was on the app that the condos were not included. This is considered a bait and switch form of false advertising which should be fixed on tbe website. We stayed in 507G, which has an individual owner. This was not up to Hilton standards. The room itself is dated. One lampshade should be replaced. It has a refrige and micro. The K cup machine was not working and water was still in the chamber. I brought my own K cups in reserve. What puzzles me is why in the world were coffee packs in the form for drip makers? Fortunantly a walk back to the Enbassy Tower had a breakfast counter

Alvin and staff provided outstanding customer service to ensure we had the best room possible for our stay. These associates treat you like family and always make our stay memorable by the service they provided. Upon arrival we were greeted with outstanding customer service from the time we arrived until check out. The staff are amazing employees who make you feel like you are the only customer in the hotel thanking us for being Elite customers and going out of their way to ensure our stay was outstanding.. The room is the most comfortable relaxing place we have ever stayed. The room is extremely spacious, comfortable, clean and the balcony furniture was nice to relax with a glass of wine and read. Our housekeepers were outstanding at ensuring our room was always clean. Bed and pillows were divine and room so comfortable we felt like we were at home. We appreciated the microwave and fridge. Fantastic property that is friendly, well maintained and relaxing. This hotel is located near several restaurants and shopping. Lots of easy free parking. One thing we truly appreciated is they understand people love and travel with their dogs and are a pet friendly hotel. Mr Marriott would be so proud of this wonderful hotel where you truly feel appreciated and valued. The manager is incredible and definitely sets the tone for 5 star customer service as every employee treated us so nice. When in the area this will always be my go to hotel and home away from home. Thank you to all the employees for making our stay comfortable and relaxing. We will be back.

|2.16km from city centerUpon checking in, front office staff completely overwhelmed, not welcoming and seemed to be disgusted as more people were walking in. Disappointed that there was a $12 parking fee per day that I was not told about until checking in, and on top of that a 2.5% fee for using a card even though they are cashless. Not sure why that’s our fault. Also either had to charge a card $200 for a hold or pay a non refundable $39.99 charge. Rooms are a little outdated and there is a funky smell in the hallways/rooms, but hey, it’s myrtle beach 🤷♀️ 5 stars go to Scott in maintenance: Had an issue with a lamp in our room, called maintenance & Scott came up right away, fixed the issue, apologized & thanked us for staying. The maintenance guy thanked us but not front staff, maybe Scott could teach the front about customer service. Interested in seeing what the rest of the week holds.
