The traffic jam was so heavy that I doubted my life, and the level of chaos reached the highest level. In addition, there may be a big gap between our expectations for five-star hotels and the standards here. Such hotels in China may only be slightly better than B&Bs and government guest houses. The curtains can hardly block the light. When does it get bright and when do we have to After getting up, the only pleasant thing is that the hotel staff are very friendly. Although the buffet does not contain any meat, the variety is quite diverse. Do not choose to come during vacation. Not only is the price expensive, but you will not be able to appreciate the tranquility of the Ganges River.

it was good stay with great ambience, but there is no room service for tea even for water as well. you have to fill your water bottle from water cooler which they doesn't have on every floor. Not good for elders, toddler and pregnant lady as you have to mount a clif which is very difficult. sufficient bulb/light was not in the room. value for money. they provide bike and rafting services in reasonable price. management is professional spectacular room is at 4th floor, It has good view but you have to walk to 50 stairs to reach.

Incredible service and hospitality. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. My room was bright and clean and comfortable. I needed a quiet room and the manager, Manglesh, was incredibly accommodating. Every day he made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Breakfast is great with lots of options, including fresh fruit. The servers were all friendly and helpful especially Aman who was great at remembering my order.  I also had lunch at the restaurant and the customer service was just incredible. Aman and the manager took really great care of me.  The staff at the front desk and the housekeeping were also wonderfully helpful. (As a woman traveling alone, I am always quite pleased when there is a woman who can help me too. Many thanks to Kiran for her cheerful service.) The GM was available too and kindly willing to helpu if I needed anything.  It is a great hotel with a great location (right next to Parmarth Ashram and very near the Beatles ashram) and the staff make the experience truly wonderful.

Pros: Super-friendly welcome and service from highly responsive and attentive staff. Clean, comfy rooms with nice toiletries. Wonderful roof terrace with views across the mountains and the Ganges. Tasty, well-cooked food and good menu options in the rooftop restaurant. Cons: Weak Wi-Fi, continually dropping connection. Coffee machine broken, so no freshly brewed coffee at breakfast (only powdered Nescafe). Ask for hot water so you can make an international style coffee. Limited breakfast choices for international guests. If you’re not keen on an Indian-style breakfast, there’s only white ‘air’ bread toast, jam, fruit, curd, cereal (no cold milk). No egg options (this might be due to religious reasons). Suggestion for management: fix your coffee machine or add a hot water urn. It would be great to include a more nutritious brown bread option, honey and a few sealed bananas at breakfast when you have international guests staying.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Clean. There is a heater. Delicious breakfasts. Upon arrival there were welcome fruits, chips and water. It was very pleasing, because we arrived late, did not want to go out to eat, but it was important to have a snack. They helped with a taxi to the train station, at a price lower than what was offered in the city. Of the minuses, very long registration and filling out a lot of paperwork upon arrival.

The property is nice but the location isn’t that great. If location is important to you please choose gostops Tapovan. This one’s surroundings aren’t quite clean from outside nor is it v reachable. The staff is very nice and helpful though. I ended up forgetting some of my belongings at the room which they safely kept and handed over to the courier guy two days after my stay. The rooms and washrooms are clean with good space, spacious terrace and common rooms. They should start planning some group activities though which can help solo travellers connect with EO better may be like some musical experience or games.

Everyone in the canteen staff is very well behaved. But I felt that Sanjay Ji takes great pleasure in serving his customers. Undoubtedly, he is expert in his work. In the end I would say that I paid for staying in the hotel but in return I also received their full services. We are senior citizens. My wife and I are very happy and satisfied.

Overall hotel was good, the experience was more of an airbnb rather than hotel, definitely not value for money considering the cost associated. Also, the restaurant had amazing food but limited menu. Vicinity is poor, its difficult to walk to any nearby places, ganga ghat was very far away and not within hotel, which is a major disappointment, overall a good experience but won’t be interested to book the hotel again because of above said reasons.

I am so happy to stay at high bank peasants cottage. I stayed here few months back as well but now they have transformed it to next level after recent renovations. The rooms are big and with beautiful balcony. The roof top cafe for breakfast is so beautiful with mesmerizing view of the ganga and the whole town of rishikesh. The bathrooms are so fancy as well. The breakfast served was pure magic with home recipes. This is probably the only guest house on the edge of the reserve forest with nice breeze and the sound of forest. I certainly recommend this property to any one who is looking for a unique and peaceful accommodation in rishikesh.
