I recently held a business meeting at this property. My meeting was supposed to start at 9AM and when I got to the room to set up at 7:30, I made a decision to change the room configuration from theater style to classroom style. I contacted the meeting manager, Gilberto and told him what I needed. I would have expected at least a little pushback or an facial expression of impatience at my request...and I would not have blamed him...BUT, Gilberto went to work with his team with a big smile and got it done. I was so happy with the service and dedication to make it right for me. I started the meeting on time no problem. Thank you Gilberto and the entire staff!!

This is the most comfortable hotel in the current US travel, the environment is comfortable and quiet, 10 distances from the airport, close to the shopping outlets, Best buy hypermarket, call cap less than 10 minutes, very convenient and very complete, each There are a lot of big-name cosmetics, the room is relatively large, the bed is very comfortable, the only thing is that the sound of the stairs is a bit poor, the overall stay is comfortable, the service is also very good, praise

This is just a place to lay your head. Their WiFi doesn't work and when you complain about it they do nothing. Their cable goes out in bad weather and there are too many roaches to count. The towels are so rough, they will hurt your skin. Yuck.

This would have been a great place to stay for a longer visit to town unfortunately I only stayed for one night. The checkin process was fine and they let me check in several hours early which was very thankful for a tired traveler. They helped me with my luggage to my room. They out me on the 3rd floor and with luggage or if you are someone who needs an elevator it was kind of a maze to get to my room. We exited the main building, apparently not connected to the rooms, walked through the yard, used our card to get into the hallway that had the elevator. Once we got off the elevator we had to go outside and walk over a overpass to the next building. Again we were prompted to swipe our room key to get into the building and the card reader did not work well at this door. I watched the bellhop swipe his card a dozen times before it accepted it and let us in. I was the first room on the left. The room was nice not gonna complain, it had a full kitchen and nice seperate living room space. The bedroom area had closet like doors to seperate it from the living room which I would expect didnt offer alot of soundproofing if you had someone in the LR area when you were trying to sleep. The blackout curtains weren't entirely blackout. There wasnt a luggage rack to prop my luggage on so I ended up using the sofa in the LR for that purpose. The room had alot of noise from the freeway, luckily the prior hotel I stayed at offered earplugs and I was grateful to have them during this stay. The bed linens were okay. The tv had a menu in it for guests with the standard info. When I woke from my 4hr nap I walked back to the front of the office building and across the yard to Chester's for a bite to eat. My Lyft driver had high recommendations to try it out. At night my doors would rattle everytime someone entered the building and I could hear all conversations of people passing in the hallway. I also didnt have a map to the ice machines so I'm not even sure they had ones near my room? The refrigerator in my room was pretty loud. The washclothes and towels were pretty cheap. I made two attempts to call the office to setup a shuttle for my very early flight and didnt get an answer either time. At that point I just went with a Lfyt driver instead dealing with it. I had to checkout at about 5am to make my flight so I didnt get to enjoy a free breakfast which was originally the reason i booked this place but my return flight had to get moved due to weather. When I checked out in the morning I prob could have convinced the person setting up breakfast to accommodate because the folks that work here were really accommodating. They made my short stay here better with their great attitudes. Overall the stay was okay and if I weren't traveling on my employer's dime this would be a very affordable option.

I travel extensively for work and the level of guest services at this location was above and beyond. Fast, friendly check in and they allowed an early check in due to a change in my travel plans. I stayed at this location for three weeks while working in the area and what a perfect place in the heart of San Antonio. It has been a very positive experience for me. My room and facility are well kept. For the duration of my stay, I wish there was more variety of breakfast menu each day. After a few days of seeing the same list, it gets old quite fast. Otherwise, the staff was outstanding! Especially Diego Zamarripa, who never missed greeting you in the lobby and ready to answer any questions or provide assistance and make you feel home. Also, Luis, the valet attendant who is very quick and prepared to have my vehicle available each day. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend this location.

Stayed here with my family of 5 including an infant and everyone of us was really satisfied with our stay. Yes, including our baby! It goes far beyond a usual Staybridge Suites you will expect. Room is clean, beads are comfortable, kitchen supply is well organized. Breakfast is good and has a great variety. Evening happy hour offers delicious food and great wines so you won’t even need to eat out. Staff are super friendly. I will recommend this to everyonr of my friends when they come to San Antonio!

Hotel location is very good, although the room is a little small, but value for money, including breakfast, the price is also very good, like breakfast with fresh apples and bananas, hot tea coffee during the day, small daisy tea at night, can Said to be very intimate. The hot water is very strong, the bed is very comfortable, I was worried that it would be a tide before, and the result is not, sleep well! Overall, the waiters are very polite and enthusiastic

I am surprised to give such a low rating but this Embassy Suite did not meet our expectations. We are Hilton Diamond Members so we stay at Hilton properties on our travels. Let me iritate the good points - great location for our trip as we wanted to spend a few days hiking at Guadelupe River and Government Canyon State Parks so this was a good location. Many restaurants and a great HEB grocery store nearby. Check-in was fast and easy but from here things went downhill. We always enjoy breakfast at Embassy Suites. Our first morning was fine - we understand there are issues with the Covid restrictions but they provided a very good cooked to order omelet and reasonable side items. After this first breakfast the next three days was very disappointing just offering scrambled eggs (a little watery), super thin bacon, cold pancakes and fried potatoes (which were very good). The fruit cups offered a few days were good but were not there all days. Essentially Embassy Suites offered breakfast which were not as good as the typical Hampton Inn - Very Disappointing. NO ROOM SERVICE - we asked for room service and got fresh towels on the third day but although we had asked for cleaning on the fourth night still NOTHING, We asked for and received fresh towels - come on this is beyond reasonable. Our whole stay revolved around hiking and we really wanted to be able to take showers. The basic room layout was standard Embassy Suite with a mini refigerator and microwave was was great BUT the bathroom sink drained very slowly and we nearly overflowed the shower as it drained even slower. The level of chemical smell was almost overwhelming when you first enter the room. The evening happy hour was OK, beer was cold and snacks of crunchy items were OK. Needless to say we will not be coming back to this location and will actually be reconsidering our use of Embassy Suites if this is now the reduced standard they will be providing. . We get the impression Embassy Suites is using the Covid travel restrictions to severely cut back on their level of service. Do the prices come down - no.

If I could give this place negative stars, it would be too much! I made a reservation through a 3rd party on a Tuesday for my husband to attend an event hoping he could make it before the Coronavirus took over the world. Thursday evening, his event was cancelled due to the health concerns of all. Friday morning was the check in date and of course I had to jump through hoops to get anyone to answer. I spoke to the Marriott call center and was told the reservation could be cancelled since these were unseen circumstances, yet I’d have to call the third party I booked through. I called directly after hanging up and after waiting 30 mins to speak to someone, the agent called the hotel and they told the 3rd party it could not be cancelled. At this point I’ve been told 2 different things. Of course this is not just because I changed my mind... literally everything is cancelled yet I’m being penalized and charged anyway because of their greed! I proceed to call this hotel and speak to a very rude female associate who told me that I couldn’t cancel the reservation bc it’s “day of” and that this “situation has been going on for weeks now” as to say that I should have known better than to book during this time. I explained to her the circumstances since she acted as if she didn’t know things have literally been changing hourly due to the Covid-19 outbreak! The nerve and heartlessness of this individual! (On this same day a national emergency was called for the United States) She didn’t want to hear anything I had to say and said “well, these are our policies.” How can someone and an entire company not care about the health and safety of their patrons and their own employees?!? I literally spoke to 7 different people today and was told something different by every single person! The only person who understood what I was going through was the 3rd party company who was more than willing to work with me and help cancel my reservation without penalty. I even tried to Switch dates with this hotel to a later date and was not even considered since I “didn’t book through Marriott.” I am so disappointed and disgusted by the carelessness of this establishment. I was as polite as possible knowing what it’s like to deal with people every single day. But once again, being nice has gotten me no where but into a tizzy! I wouldn’t choose this place more so bc they are rude and heartless, nothing else matters!

Great customer service and close to everything. The King bed room is on the small size but we were only there to sleep. Breakfast is in a brown bag that consist of water, orange, granola bar and pastry. We kept the water and gave the rest to the homeless. There are some restaurants that are still closed but we never had a problem finding somewhere to eat. On our last day our flight wasnt until the evening and they let us keep our room until 4PM so we could freshen up before our flight. I would stay here again.

Came to San Antonio to have dinner with some cousins who were visiting from out of state. We chose this location for the reasonable rate and the proximity to the Riverwalk area. The young lady at the front desk was efficient and friendly, the property was nicely updated and very clean and comfortable. We took a cab to the Alamo for under six dollars. We will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I had moved from another hotel on the Riverwalk in San Antonio to this one and couldn’t have been happier about our choice. Vincent was so kind and accommodating and showed us around the hotel and gave us some room options. The rooms were spacious and the view was beautiful. The hotel backed onto the Riverwalk so we were able to walk down to our favorite restaurants in a matter of minutes. The pool was absolutely gorgeous. Very clean and relaxing. We truly couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The price was right and the hotel was fantastic. We had great interactions with all of the staff. Everyone was so friendly. I only need a room for overnight before an early morning flight. This Days Inn meet my needs. The room was very clean, the king size bed was very comfortable with six pillows and there was small fridge and microwave which I didn't use. The included breakfast was basic but filling -- coffee, yogurt, Belgian waffle, oat meal, orange juice, and toast. The desk clerk on my arrival was very friendly and helpful but the clerk or manager when I checked out was the worst ever. She was talking on her cell phone in a foreign language -- not Spanish -- and even walked away to the coffee area while I was waiting. Finally she put down the phone for a second and briskly answered my inquiry about getting to the airport then immediately continued her conversation. I travel a lot but this woman was the worst I have encountered in ages.

So far my personal experience with this hotel has been one of the best experiences I've ever had dealing with a lower budget stay. Some stuff could be updated for sure like the mini fridges and could probably use a little bit of a spit shine. My husband and I stayed one night here, in route home to Florida. We called a few hours in advance and they had no problem holding a room for us. Check in was easy and they remembered my request for a ground level room so parking nearby would eliminate the arduous luggage shuffle. The first room they put us in smelled a bit like cigarettes and I discovered the sink was leaking. They quickly moved us to a room two doors down. Basic room, a bit dated but in good shape. Bed was ok. Quiet night really. The pool area was pretty but not heated so at this time of the year it was just nice to look at. There was a bit of obvious repair being done on the elevator, as it was cordoned off with orange safety tape. Not pretty but understandable. They also had no issues with giving us a later checkout ( not many visitors that night). I would stay again. Interested note: do not park under trees in November. I’ve never seen so many Finches in one place and they made quite a mess of or vehicle. We went to the carwash as soon as we left ( there is a nice one just down the street and on the way back to I 10.

I live in Dallas but have family that live in San Antonio so visit quite a bit. I stay 10-12 times a year and has always been FANTASTIC. I love the pool and size of rooms. I've had both king and queen beds in my room and both have been very comfortable. I need to ask them how I can buy one of their mattresses for my house lol. I commend Days Inn for putting the staffs health before anything else and not having the continental breakfast. While I do miss those iconic Texas shaped waffles, I understand 100% that breakfast is not feasible with COVID19. I've stayed in some pretty sketchy motel rooms so I am thankful this hotel has always been clean. You can clearly tell that the owners and employees all take pride in the hotels upkeep inside and outside. I'm sure having the great housekeepers on staff is a big part of how clean rooms are. They do their job well and quick. You can clearly tell the grounds keeper does a great job maintaining the hotel which cant be easy. Its been maintained very well. I have stayed in different rooms and both floors of the hotel and all of them have been quiet. Even when kids are playing in the pool that was right outside my door. I've never had one problem. Front desk employees are also helpful. They have referred me to great restaurants because I like to order local food and not something I can buy back home in Dallas. I will be staying there in a few short weeks and look forward to it.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a check-in issue due to not being able to check in until 3:30 when check-in time is supposed to be 3. Not the end of the world, but the lobby furniture we were waiting on was pretty gross. The couches in the lobby and the room were heavily soiled. Needs a good deep cleaning of soft surfaces through the entire hotel. Room was good, and very soundproof. The breakfast is great. Expensive, but they have an outstanding location. Bonus was the parking garage across the street was only $10 for the overnight.

Hubby and I enjoyed our stay here. Every year for our anniversary, we like to stay at a local hotel and check out some of the events. We usually select a modern hotel, but we decided to try a bed and breakfast this year. Man, have we been missing out! It felt like home away from home. Peaceful and quiet - right next to the river. And the breakfast and service were top notch, and the chickens and bunnies were a sweet touch. Although staff are not on site after 3pm, they reached out to us via text periodically and made themselves available if we had concerns. The only thing I would add is to have coffee and tea available in the dining room until 3pm before the staff leaves. And maybe let guests know about the board games available to play there. We are thinking about making this our permanent anniversary spot. We loved it that much. Thanks, Roland, for taking great care of the property and for taking the time to say good morning to your customers. That's a sign of great leadership!

This hotel is a great location right off of 281, right across from Quarry Market and close to the Bexar County Shooting Club. My son had a 4-H shoot at the club and we had to spend 2 nights in San Antonio. This hotel was a very reasonable price and offered free parking and free breakfast. Breakfast limited due to Covid but did offer some hot pre packaged Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches and pig in the blanket options. Also coffee, orange juice, apple juice and Nutrigrain bars. If you need towels or toilet paper you just ask at front desk and it’s provided. Room was clean but no room service unless staying more than 3 nights. Small refrigerator and microwave in room. Save your money and go somewhere else. The whole staff is horrible, including manager. First time my friend and I stayed and we were being very obviously watched for no reason. We came into get breakfast and only had 1 other guest sitting down and this lady stood over the both of us, and was so rude. She walked away when we sat down to eat but then she kept coming back and made us uncomfortable. Then the front desk told me I could pay $50 and the other $20 before 5pm so I go pay and turns out that I could NOT do it that way and so I ask for the manager to see what I could work out and she told me I needed to go pack my stuff and get out of the room and come back when money is on the card, not in cash. Not 3mins after coming back to room to pack she calls the phone and says To get out of the room or she’s calling the cops. I have a cast on my arm for a broken wrist and they did not care, they wanted me and my friend out right then and there. We start moving our belongings right outside room so they can see we’re getting our stuff out and one female staff member came around the corner and giggled when she saw our stuff outside room. Horrible horrible HORRIBLE.

Booked this motel because we got such a good price through Expedia, but would not elect to stay here again. Our first clue that it may not be the best location was the police car outside of reception when we first arrived! The room itself was relatively spacious and clean and the bed was not the worst I've slept on, but it was definitely a bare bones experience. The room was equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator, but no coffeemaker. They provide soap and thin towels, but you must bring your own hair dryer. Check in was awkward...they tried to charge us twice. Also tried to give us a smoking room when we specifically asked for non smoking. We stayed two nights and it was very noisy outside both nights. I am pretty sure that someone was turning tricks at this motel...you could hear her conversations through the door/walls. Constant loud knocking at all hours of the night. The room did not get cleaned the second day. Reception desk personnel were not very friendly, helpful or welcoming.
