We loved our front Boy (so sorry we forgot his name) he was always smiling and very thoughtful about little things!
We had our breakfast pancakes made ”thin” and crispy by him and it was delicious!
Everything was clean and still new.
This place is recommended for people who look for a more quiet option, away from the busy streets.
You will need a bike to get around when you stay here!

The small salt water pool was not refreshing and the beds are unpractically placed. In the shadow, it is impossible to be. We felt rather besides concrete. There you could quickly fix with more plants. Breakfast is very good. Except that the hearty variant was once properly salted. Water tank with drinking water in the bathroom and bikes are included. You are really fast everywhere ... with the right bikes. Some resorts have significantly better bikes (dicker and better maintained). This is simply needed because there are only sandy hike tracks. Otherwise you will hardly come forward. Shortest connection to the beach with bicycle (4 min) Super! Very quiet. We have always used to beach from resorts. It was always free but you should obviously order something. Win win situation. Prices were very cheap to cheap. We were very happy to snorkel (no riffs!) and just located on the beach and enjoyed the sun in the shadow :-P. Utara we were last time. That was too expensive for it, and the plant simply misses flair. The location is super!! 5-7 minutes with bike to the main promenade is far enough to not get the chaotic noise!

A simple but yummy daily breakfast was included in the price. Owners are very friendly too! And we were able to rent good motorbikes from them no problem. Best of all, it was very very affordable. Highly recommend this place.

|0.7km from city centerOn the occasion of my stay on the Gili Islands, I stayed in this hotel, first in a twin room, then in the deluxe room. Both rooms had a very spacious bathroom with hygienic products available, but also a television and a fridge. The beds were comfortable. My stay there was very pleasant. My stay there was pleasant. The staff made themselves available. Concerning the enclosure of the hotel, I did not use it but there is a large swimming pool, bicycles for rent, and a water fountain. The location is perfect with bars / restaurants in the street, and especially the sea a few meters away. The hotel is located right next to the mosque on the island, so be aware that you will probably hear the prayer at 5am (but that didn't bother me).

|3.74km from city centerI very much warn AGAINST booking at this hotel and want to share my experience with Selong Selo on here to spare others the nightmare we experienced: This hotel essentially took our money and made it impossible to get a refund or rebooking. We had booked a stay at Selong Selo for 2020 - unfortunately Indonesia stopped tourism entries due to Covid and we were stuck discussing back and forth with the hotel, about what to do with our reservation. The first thing we realized was that communication with this hotel is extremely slow and difficult, since very single time someone new responded in what I would deem pretty bad English. Since 2020 we have sent countless emails (many left unanswered) and two years later are yet to get a refund or rebooking for our prepaid reservation of 1.500€. In this time Selong Selo staff has given us the hardest time I have ever experienced with any hotel during Covid: They set absurd deadlines for rebookings (essentially asking us to travel when there were no flights to Indonesia), downgraded the villa category we booked and then took days off our booking in case we rebooked. To be honest we don’t really see how we will get our money back and all this feels like a scam through and through. My verdict is this: Should something go wrong, you are stuck with this hotel and will lose your money. There are plenty of professional hotels in Lombok, so steer clear of Selong Selo!

The black beach at the door is clean and clear. This is a more convenient place to watch the sunset. The sound of roadside motorcycles is louder. |6.63km from city centerTurtle Beach Hotel in Gili Air is a lovely little beachside hotel on the east side of Gili Air. About a 20 minute walk from the port. You can wheel your suitcases there but it is a bit of a hike. Horse and cart for around $15 AUD probably better. With great snorkelling directly opposite and lots of bars and cafes extremely close to town it’s well located and a little gem. Bikes and snorkelling gear can be hired next door and the island can be easily rode around in about an hour. Set in beautiful traditional gardens, the rooms are wood filled bungalows with mosquito nets and outside showers which are quite novel. Lovely and quiet with excellent air conditioning and a good size fridge / freezer. Staff are lovely and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is a basic set course of a tasty Mie Goreng, Nasi Goreng or eggs with fruit, fruit juice, tea or coffee. Look some TLC is probably needed to bring a few negative aspects up to scratch ... the pebble finish in the shower was incomplete, the toilet didn’t flush well at all and the room was very dark. So this may not suit some but most places in Gili Air are still a work in progress since the earth quake. Sensor lights made walking back at night feel really safe though. But look overall, great value at around $60 AUD per night. I’d come back again.

Breakfast at the hotel is a la carte, but it is also necessary to have breakfast. The room was extremely dim and strange, a row of huts near the sea were all Chinese. The advantage is that it is convenient to travel, and the disadvantage is that it is very noisy. From morning to night, the barking music sounds constantly, and you have to call every night to turn it off. An extra bed can be added to the room, and an extra bed and breakfast can be included for an additional RMB 100 per child per night. This point, Ctrip also wrote very clearly. But when we arrived at the hotel, a staff member told us that it would cost 200 yuan per night. Fortunately, I opened Ctrip's regulations and let him read it. It clearly stated that adults 200 and children 100 yuan. He knew he had a deficit and agreed. This feels confusing and feels particularly bad. When we were leaving, we kept saying that Gong Xi Fa Cai was actually tipping. The hotel has free bicycles, but bicycles do not have baby seats. Although the hotel's meal is a bit expensive, it is 100 per person, but it is really delicious. The water of Geely T is very good. You can see the turtles, but it is also really messy. The carriage sometimes gives us 75 and sometimes 50. Should never go again.

With that said I also had a lovely experience with another staff member which is why I still am giving four stars. I came to use the loungers at the beach. When I arrived I was greeted by a very friendly staff member who brought me a coconut from another stall as they did not have any. All was good and I decided to order food and approached another staff member for a menu. This staff member was incredibly, incredibly rude. He told me that they weren’t serving food only drinks (I saw others had food). He then asked “if I am stupid and do I not understand English” when I questioned why I couldn’t receive a menu and stormed away. The original friendly staff member then brought me a menu; however, I choose to leave and eat somewhere else as I was so so out off by the rude male staff member. I work in hotels in hospitality and it was shocking to be spoken to this way by a hotel staff member. This individual should not be working in hospitality. I wish I got names so the friendly staff member could be credited while the rude one could be identified by management.

We got lots of free snacks and drinks by the pool and the whole atmosphere was excelent. Food was fresh and good and rooms very clean and tidy. The view from the restaurant in the morning was speachless. We also tried the snorkeling with the pink boat and it was so beautiful and luxurious yet the price was low. Enjoyed every second of our stay. Would love to stay there much longer!

Our Villa was above the reception area. Free bikes to use during our stay - few issues with dodgy chains but they just swapped bikes over. Staff all lovely. Arranged for us to be met when we arrived off the ferry, and got us horse/cart transport to Vyaana. Made special birthday breakfast for my son. Good breakfast. Didn’t eat here in the evenings as they didn’t sell alcohol. No hesitation in recommending a stay here.

Lovely breakfast; eggs, toast, desert and fruit - and to top it off the owners and staff are just the best people we've ever met, they made us feel so welcome. Selong Belanak beach is a bit further than I expected taking about 10 minutes to walk there from the hotel, but I rented a scooter easily enough to get around to some of the big surf breaks. I really enjoyed surfing at Serana and Mawi, which are both short and beautiful drives from the hotel. Tello the hotel manager is a super friendly, funny, and helpful man! His wife cooks delicious food as well! I liked it so much at ZamZam that I extended my original two nights and ended up staying eight nights in total!

Located in the front of the best snorkeling spot of Gili Trawangan, it's very easy to see several sea turtles here. The staff is amazing and helps create the perfect island vibe. The rooms are spacious with air con and on site there is a bar and a restaurant with great drinks and food. Located on the North of the island, far from the noise of the center, it is the perfect spot to enjoy this tropical paradise. We will recommend it!!!

|45.02km from city centerPearl of Trawangan was a luxurious, incredibly clean, and central hotel, whilst still being far enough away from the noise of the local bars (5 minute walk from bars). The pool was lovely with a very well kept pool bar, managed by very helpful and attentive staff who couldn’t have been nicer/more accommodating. There were bikes you could hire from 100,000 rupiah (approx £5) per day to make your way round the island as there are no cars on Gili T. The rooms were spacious with a lot of storage, good AC and a comfortable bed. The bathroom area is effectively outside, however there is a canopy and it is always kept spotless by the staff so was still very comfortable. The restaurant was also second to none. They feed you plenty at breakfast time offering complimentary pastries and fruit, and have plenty of options for your “main” breakfast. Our breakfast was included when booking our stay. We also had a lunch and a dinner here, both of which were superb. Having cycled round the whole island, I think we chose the best accommodation on the island. Some of the others, despite looking nice, had pools right by the main road which didn’t offer much privacy, whereas the pool here was set back, still benefitted from the sun shining on it all day, and offered plenty of sun loungers. They also had their own loungers on a designated part of the beach, which is literally 10 steps from the hotel reception, meaning you can enjoy the best of both worlds. Could not recommend enough. We stayed here mid-June 2023.

Wow...isn't it?) I bought some suim suit at the mall. Nail clipper, sunblock too. Other than that, I dunno why I would recommend this hotel. I could have been wiser to spend my money at other hotel. But if you must, don't try their breakfast. Un-hygiene. This is not suitable for family with kids.

|7.97km from city centerWe've just returned from this wonderful place. We stayed for 7 days but could of easily stayed for a lot longer. Our room, the staff, the food were absolutely amazing. Oh, sorry, the owners as well were very friendly,helpful, and very knowledgeable. We had breakfast every day, which was lovely. My personal favourite was the muesli. Dinner was a delight. I think my favourite was either the burger or the green curry. Any way all the food was very good. We hired a scooter as we needed to get to kuta to watch the moto gp. The ride which took about 30 mins, was probably our most fun part. We were worried before we arrived that the hotel was a bit out the way, but once we had been out on the scooter we realised it was perfect. It's a short distance to some amazing beaches, and the ride is so scenic. We've already started to play our next trip. Hopefully see you soon Scott and Diane.

The location is relatively biased. We took a long time to find it. Compared with bromo and ijen, Linjani is little known, but the difficulty is quite large. This time I chose to hike for three days and two nights. I chose this hotel for the rest before and after the hike. It is a hotel, in fact, it is more like a farmhouse. The hotel is fully equipped (supervisory room). It is very suitable for friends who go to Linjani to rest here. You can see the Linjani volcano in the hotel. If you are lucky, you can see the sunrise Linjani. Very beautiful!
