1.65km from downtownMy mother and I stayed for 3 nights in a twin bed in Business Deluxe room 201. We both got bed bug bites while staying in the room. My bed bug bites are more serious. It's been 1 week but the bite mark is still on my leg. The room did not have a window. When I book a room, I request a room with a window.

1.14km from downtownThis is not the first time i pick this hotel for a staycation. The room is clean, and usually has a large size. But the last time i stayed here, due to an unexpected problem with the water in the bathroom, they removed me to another room, which is much smaller than the usual. But it's ok, still comfortable enough. The only problem is always the bathub. Always got the broken drain trap, so i have to pull it manually to drain the water. Please do upgrade the bathub, it would be much much better. Overall, i love this hotel

Luckily we stayed only 1 night. And the experience is already bad. We arrive at 9pm at night. There was no problem drg check in. The room is very small, no windows, and smells like smoking room even they said it is a non smoking room. We accepted the room since it was late already and we were tired. The drainage of the bathroom is really bad. The water comes out to the room floor then we have to dry it with towel before sleep. The breakfast is not good. Not many varieties and the taste is just ok, not good. The fee for extra breakfast is overpriced, 70k/pax with that limited and non tasty food. The night before, we stayed in other hotel in the city centre with a lower price and much better experience that is why I say this hotel is a rip off. The room in the other one is bigger, the location is better, the breakfast is nicer and more variety, also the extra breakfast costs only 30k/pax. To make everything worse, during the check out the give us an unpleasant experience. The receptionist said there is yellow dirt on the pillow cases. I didn't use any cream or anything that will stain the fabric. The housekeeper brought down the pillow cases and the bed sheet. They showed us the stains. It is actually the stains that seems there for a long time from an old fabric. It has nothing to do with us. We argue with the receptionist and they accepted that it was not our fault without even saying SORRY. Please don't stay here.
This hotel has only been open for a year or so. We watched it being built when we used to live in Medan. The room was very comfortable and spacious--enough room for our luggage. The bathroom had an extra shelf, so enough room for 2 people's toiletries. Typical of Indonesia, even luxurious hotels, the tap water is not drinkable. They do not offer bottled water, but do give you a pitcher and have water down the hall to fill up--I much prefer that system. The hot shower was accommodating to tall people. We loved the breakfast, a mixture of local and Western with an egg bar and Soto Medan, my favorite soup. They offered late checkout for a very reasonable fee, and overall the price was great.
I changed some dishes for breakfast every day and stayed intermittently for a few days without getting tired. The rooms are not very big but clean and the TV has several Chinese channels. The hotel is located in the Chinese area. It is very convenient to eat, exchange money, buy phone cards and travel. There is a convenience store at the entrance, which is expensive but convenient. There is a black car opposite the hotel to the airport of 150,000, and those who are worried about the black car may also let the hotel take a taxi for about 18.
The place is great. Great facilities. there is a swiming pool, sauna, gym. Great. Friendly service. Eat breakfast with wife and two children, free. Thank you so much JW. Marriot and Trip.com. Jesus Bless You.
Not to bad for budget stayed , clean room.
Good and friendly service, fast response and the food is also delicious, highly recommend staying at Aryaduta, and the location is in the city center

It was our first visit to the hotel. Quite surprised actually, I didn't expect to find such a nice place in the middle of the hectic metropolitan. Surrounded by trees and a nice pool with shallow and deep sides separated in one swimming pool, in the middle of the hotel. Staff were nice and quiet. Seems like an old building but well maintained. All equipments worked well. Cafes and entertainment facilities are easy to reach. Thank you so much Mrs. Huber for your warm welcome and a wonderful time I had with my daughter. Recommended.
A low cost luxurious cozy hotel in the middle of Medan. An escape from the hectic routine. Fine furniture, tidy and clean. First two days we booked a family suite room, then we decided a second round with suite double room for a day. Only me and my daughter. She enjoys so much the internet tv, free wifi and swimming pool. Family room was okay with a kitchen and privacy at the top floor, less noise. Suite double room also fine with a living room but wifi signal is very weak. Anyway, currently we're still in a suite double room at the first floor, near the swimming pool. Staff are friendly and helpful. So much courtesy and convenience at this hotel, thank you so much. Sure we'll be back again and this is recommended. *we move around the furniture in the living room to suits us on a picture attached.
More than 10 years ago I was a very regular visitor of the Dharma Deli Hotel. Having seen from the outside some changes we decided to check out the Grand Inna Hotel, just for the fun of it. Walking in the hotel I noted the De Boer plaquette, which I appreciated. At first glance walking to the Reception nothing changed. A later closer inspection learned that the Karaoke Bar disappeared, the rooms in the back have been demolished and the swimming pool got a new location and the relocation of the restaurant. However, what really changed was the age of the staff, much much younger and everywhere very friendly and service oriented. This very well compensating for some issues which have been reported upon by other reviewers. A few remarks: Positive: The windows in our room could be opened The WIFI was perfect The Steamboat, quality/price wise, turned out much better than expected Location. A few steps away from Merdeka walk Breakfast suggestion: With minimum efforts the Continental Breakfast spread can be much improved. Start with a freshly baked crispy baquette, put in some good cheese and cold cut meat and possibly some beef bacon. Looking at the total package, cost and quality wise, I am happily giving the Grand Inna 5 stars.
Last night i slept in here that was really good, breakfast really delicious, i love how the crew serve us, but just one thing i need to tell : why you guys just let us have 1 card door? If 1 person need to leave hotel room when my friend need to enter the hotel room how can he/she can go in? But overall worth it
Since we was from kualanamu airport, this hotel is very convenient for us, we using railink which is the stasion is on 2nd floor, we just used lift to the hotel on 3rd floor. And we were going to Rantau Prapat using Sri bilah train which the stasion just below. What a suitable hotel, isn't it? They also have freezer if we need to store meal. And u can borrow hairdryer if u need it. One things that i regret is, Now they dont have compliment instant noodle in the room. Overall, the hotel is good. We like it.
This hotel is in a good location, not best location in town but still good. Rite in front of a supermarket, 5 minutes to a shopping center, 10-15 minutes to the other malls. The room is not big, but not too small. The room is clean. Everything seems good till it's time for me to check out after 2 nights of staying. The receptionist told me that one of the small face towels in the bathroom was gone, it wasn't there. I remember my husband use it rite before we leave, but put it back rite away. We looked in every inch of the room, and we can't find it. The receptionist said that there should be 2 face towels, and there was only one left. But my husband remembered that there was only one face towel from the beginning. Anyway, we paid for the missing towel, it costs Rp. 120.000. Not too expensive, but i just keep questioning, 'where did the small face towel go?'. Super mysterious
It was a great staycation, everyone's so friendly and helpful. The room's clean and simple (I love it). I ordered vegan food and it's surprisingly nice. I surely recommend this hotel if you come with your family or even if you stay by yourself. Ah, it's also very near to a famous animal museum in Medan.
I have been coming to here almost for 2 years, and always the service is better and better. I recommend you this place because it's perfect for eat, sleep, relaxing time, laundry, transportation. It's very clean also and close to the center. Definitely it's one of my favorite places in Medan
Nice room and strategic location, everything is clean, breakfast is tasty!
I spent quality time with my daughter and everything is perfect! Will definitely comeback here soon!
Already subscribed to staying here, for breakfast the taste is pretty good. Only the rooms seem a bit old and the receptionist is not so friendly (Typical Medan Hospitality)
Fortunately, the strategic location is okay, okay, let's go
The location is very strategic, the service is also good and friendly, there are lots of good photo spots there, the food is also not a bed, but the refrigerator in the room we live in, I think it doesn't work at all, it's a shame that the facilities provided are that good, but the refrigerator doesn & amp; # 39; t work. But over all, everything is OK, and I feel comfortable staying at this hotel 😊
The rudeness of the housekeeping staff as they entered guest room without notice and permission. No safety at all as we kept some money in our currency in the room. When we brought this concern to the staff, looks like one of them is a Manager and he was quite rude and not even apologised. He told that we hung the "clean-room" card outside the door which clearly we didn't and we cant even find any of the card in the room. This is a false accusation to cover their unprofessional work ethic. It seems ok to them to enter guest room as they like. On the day we checked out, the reception even asked us to pay some money for uncertainty matter and unclear issues. Just because of that the hotel asking us to pay 2 nights extra. And they also holding our deposit. So, we just agree for them to take deposit instead and left the hotel with bitter feelings. Then only we realised that maybe the hotel policy to allow the staff to go into any guest room without the guest concern just to some kind of CHECK and find minor faulty to get some money especially from not local guests. From my own experience in travelling to many countries and myself also worked many years in hotel line, this is very unacceptable. Will never return and definitely NOT RECOMMENDED hotel. The breakfast also was very limited choices.
We only stayed at this hotel because we were attending a wedding reception being held there. I have stayed in more than 150 hotels around the world and for the first time I was required to pay a refundable deposit for a remote control for the A/C. The bathroom is exceedingly tiny. My cat couldn't swing a cat in it. There was no hot water at 5:00pm after we had travelled 5 hours to get there and really needed to freshen up. On our way to dinner, I asked at reception about this and was told that due to "technical problems" we could only have hot water from 6 - 8AM and from 6 - 8PM. I explained that I did not know about this. The receptionist then showed me a document that I had not seen nor been shown when checking in that explained the situation. I suggested that guests should be informed about this when checking in. Miraculously, the 'technical problems' were resolved the following morning. The staff were not aware of what was happening at the property. We asked if there was live music. The receptionist directed us to two venues on the property, but each was closed. Only the disco was open. The food in the restaurant was mediocre at best. They try to do this barbeque thing at the table, but it fails to deliver. There were plenty of plates, cups, glasses and so on, but only one spoon. There's no light above the cabinet where you make tea or prepare snacks etc. The light above the makeup / grooming mirror was not working. They clearly don't check that everything is working when they clean the rooms. The furniture, carpets, cabinetry, wall coverings etc are very dated. However, the bed was comfortable and the wall covering behind the bed was relatively new. There's no safe in the room. I know that safes are expense and there are always technical problems, but pretty much every property that says it's 4-star has a room safe. The worst part from a safety perspective is that the elevator doors close within a very short time. I injured my arm as the door closed on me within 5 or so seconds and hit me quite hard. A petite granny could have been seriously injured. No-one seems to care. It's an obvious problem and should have been fixed. The restaurant did not stock beer or wine or any other alcoholic beverage. It's a property that management doesn't seem to care about. The staff are helpful, willing, courteous and respectful, but not properly trained. This is a sign that management or ownership doesn't give a toss.
Mie Aceh daging nya enak! Staf hotel ramah dan bersahabat.
Safe and convenient parking
Friendly and responsive receptionist
The mattress is very soft
Breakfast is delicious
The cost is also quite cheap
wifi is fast
The swimming pool is fun
Very satisfied with staying here, will come again
Don't expect the Ritz, this is a descent budget hotel, nothing fancy but the rooms are clean and reasonable sized. Again, nothing fancy, no amenities but if you travel budget you have your toothbrush with you. Laundry service available. Breakfast available, again don't expect too much for this amount of money. Hot showers, wife (a little unstable) and the front rooms suffer a little from the street sounds but it's not intrusive. Staff was great, cool ladies with a good sense of humor. Location wise it's alright although the surrounding of the hotel is not inspiring (saying this as a euphemism). But the more interesting areas are nearby so it's a good spot. I've spend 3 nights here and it was a descent deal for the money. For budget travelers recommended.
This is good, but the place and parking fee are expensive
This check, in is quite good. But I can say with certainty that at least one of the front desks of this hotel has a discrimination against the Chinese. Last check in, wasted me for an hour, then various signature reminders.
